January 2024 CPNs 🍭🍬🍪

starting off the year strong with some good old candies that puts a smile on our faces. i have to say that this month has some challenges because tho we have sweets, there were some outside voices that affected some of us in a negative way. being a bxg is a continuous learning process, and i hope all of us get stronger and learn that xz and wyb will always be the priority. we will respect them. we will be kind to them. and i guess that’s the good thing about monthly recaps like this, a reminder that bxgs live the good life! 🫶🏼

• Probably a coincidence but in WYB’s interview he mentioned that one of his favorite Actors is Sean Penn. Understandable. However people are screaming cause “Sean” is also XZ’s first name. lol. Was this an additional point to like the actor? 😂

• In his SINA interview for Weibo night, he was asked who he prefers to go with during vacations and he answers friends. but before saying that he stuttered. you all know how we are with XZ and his stutter, meaning he is changing his answer or is a bit nervous cause the true answer is revealing. Tell us, who do you really wanna go on vacation with? 😏

• The boys being tourism ambassadors of their hometown which led to them being featured in a newspaper

• A fansite posted a series of photos showing how XZ signed the backdrop for Weibo Night. It clearly shows how he looks at WYB’s signature and the decides to sign right next to it. There are videos too that show this much better. I guess this one depends on people’s interpretation. I think those who are anti cpf will see this as a coincidence and say that XZ just signed randomly on the side cause the other spaces already look crowded. But then again, you can’t deny that he saw WYB’s signature. He knows what it looks like. They both spent so much time signing stuff together during CQL promotion so it’s safe to say that he recognized it. If they are sworn enemies like some people love to imply, why would he sign near WYB’s? This is pretty clear to me, it’s his way of being right next to WYB. 🫶🏼

I know there are a lot of toxicity and fanwar that happened because of SDC fan support and there is some narrative from his so/os that WYB hates us. so/os are free to hate on us but i don’t think it’s ever right to project that onto WYB who is like the most accepting person. let the fan wars be between the fans, don’t bring WYB into it and claim stuff that will put him in a negative light.

• mystery tennis photo where people clown that he could be with xz. but i personally think he is just with some friends, but that doesn’t take away the possibility that he plays with xz 🎾

• GQ caption similarities and sexy backs - and i think the biggest takeaway from this whole GQ drama is that fans should remain rational and we should trust the boys and their decision. I have talked about it initially here, but that was more of calling out fan etiquette than the cpn implications. some bxgs really fell into the brainwashing package of solos and i wanna discuss that here cause this fandom is not only about candies but being firm in our belief. you had shrimps saying wyb is the enemy cause he is all cozied up with gq, and some bxgs bought that. they were “disappointed” with wyb and made up stuff about him doing things against his will. then the same people were slapped in the face when yibo continued to work with him for his album which is about as personal as it gets. only a few respected wyb’s decision and trusted in him & xz. motos are saying gq will never work with someone like xz cause he is the enemy, and that’s why wyb is comfortable with rocco and team. which is proven to be wrong now cause he is working with them. who knows, they may even do a full feature for LOCH. this is a lesson to bxgs, do not rely on solo sob stories to make sense of zz and wyb cause they only see one side of the story. they were always okay with GQ. Maybe GG was hurt at some point but he moved on and so should the fans. i just hate the feeling that ZZ & WYB were so happy with the collabs they did with GQ, in the meantime, BXGs who are supposed to understand them the most were nowhere to be found. we should do better next time.

there are serious efforts out there to make us turn against one of them, and use cpfs as anti minions, so we should be more careful.

How will your First Date with your FS will go?

I think on your first date with your FS you will be very hesitant, almost feel nervous to the point that you feel "something would go wrong" ? , this date might have been planned out suddenly after you guys have been talking for a while and like they asked you out and you immediately said "yes!" (u might have been the one to actually were waiting for them to ask u out xD), but i would say both of you will be innerly panicking from heart attack. And i'm seeing that you are checking yourself infront of the mirror every minute if your clothes are okay or if your hair looks messy? (look don't worry, your FS will love you from the minute they saw you, they don't care whether you wear pj's that night, they would be pleased neither way) . This will happen when two of you are in the beginning stages of your relationship, i feel like you'd change how you'd actually see relationship because of this person... (very good healing is what i seee) oh and i would say i'm getting this vibe that you guys would go to this expensive restaurant,riunion or even to someone's birthday ! when i was channeling i was totally getting this scene from Spy x Family (episode 2 ) where it is called "Securing a Wife" XD. And be sure to respond to their energy and to their text, talk back because even if you seem seem to be enjoying the date i see you that you are not saying much, almost presurring yourself not to say much because you would make a mistake .... no no no, this person would actually prepare even a month before they ask you out, even their friends know that they had many sessions to build their confidence to go to you. They would protect, care and improvise they would really lookout for you, they want you to feel safe but they would be on their head lot about if they've done something wrong because you'd be really making them anxious on the date xD, be sure to be open with them honeyyy----

YOO, i think Your first date with your FS will be so sudden that it wasn't actually a date in the first place?, like you guys will be at this riunion of work meeting or christmas party everyone you know will be involved somehow and someone will be hitting you on you significantly by making a move like, getting you a drink, giving you things and your FS is pissed like really pissed because even if they respect you and look at you from afar they see you in uncomfortable situation where the person hitting on you can't leave you alone. They'd be really coming in swooping you away, like gentleman/graceful woman way... like they'd introduce themselves to you and offer you to stay with them ... AND WHAM... like you'd be very interested like they'd be your new sunlight, star you'd look up to ... they are very career focused and you guys would start talking about the work/school or anything you'd be interested in and from that part you guys might ditch that place go somewhere else.... hahahaha like (what kind of korean movie is this?) This relationship will be filled with full of respect for each other, like you guys click right on from the start, like if u had to murder someone they'd be right back at ya with a shovel (i'm kidding) ....

I have gone insane. I have no questions yet, so I'm copying the whole list and answering them for Lucifer.

What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

A few hours, to maybe a month. It really depends. Has there been a recent cleansing? He's going to sit still for a month. After that passes, he'll have a hard time keeping still.

How easy is it for your character to laugh?

VERY easy. He finds mortal ignorance cute, and will start chuckling over mortals not understanding the universe like he does. Not a malicious or condescending chuckle, mind you. A "Oh, I remember when I was like that. They'll learn that's a silly way of thinking eventually." Loves playing too, best way to get him laughing is to wrestle him.

How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)

He doesn't. He fights sleep with all his might to watch over his family. He can't sleep... any moment not watching for danger is another life lost.

How easy is it to earn their trust?

Surprisingly easy, as he knows that he can't judge by someone's surface, if they're offering help. If someone gives off a bad vibe, or has a lot of sin, he'll just be EXTREMELY cautious.

How easy is it to earn their mistrust?

Again, very easy. All it takes is hurting a child. Then you're his next meal...

Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?

He has seen kingdoms rise and fall, languages rewrite themselves, and humanity change in unbelievable ways. Laws come and go, with each dying breath of a dynasty.

A part of him still thinks his father's word is law, and still believes his laws are immovable. That part of him, he wants to rip from his chest with his bare claws.

What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?

Seeing siblings play together, certain smells of flowers and honey, cold breezes, lamb chops, and old temples.

...it's a painful feeling, but he feels as though he deserves all the suffering he can get. He enjoys it, but it leaves him wanting to break his ribs, to rip out his still loving heart and tear it up. He will NEVER get that joy back, if he doesn't work for it. Even then, his happiness is eternally perverted. His memory stained and putrid, with rotting blood.

What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child?

Talking. Playing. Moving. Touching things. Laughing. Smiling. The list of things he was told not to do goes on and on.

As for starting to do... he was simply told to "Be better. Stop making such mistakes."

Do they swear? Do they remember their first swear word?

Occasionally, yes. As for if he remembers? He barely remembers what he ate today, and that word is probably in a dead language. He probably said it, when he was trying to understand someone else's language. Like how kids will shout "FUCK!" When they hear it for the first time.

What lie do they most frequently remember telling? Does it haunt them?

...everything will be okay...

Yes, it always haunts him when he has to say this. Especially to children.

How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?

He will ask many questions, and does not care how silly it sounds, when it seems obvious to other people. Only time he doesn't ask questions when he's confused, is when he's also terrified. If he thinks people are in danger, he'll protect first, ask questions later, even if it means sacrificing himself or killing someone he could potentially redeem.

How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach?

He'll roll in rocks and rubble, like a bulky sand bath, scratch himself on a wall like a bear, or get his brothers to groom him.

What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color?

He doesn't really care for clothes, as all he can wear is animal skins. He also doesn't care about looking good. He looks amazing in purple, however. As that's the color he used to be...

What animal do they fear most?

Lions. Not because they're dangerous, but because they remind him of his father.

How do they speak? Is what they say usually thought of on the spot, or do they rehearse it in their mind first?

He always speaks like he's reciting a ballad or a poem. All from his head though, so think theater kid improv.

What makes their stomach turn?

Overwhelming failure, and mutilated children.

Are they easily embarrassed?

No. There is not an ounce of self respect in his body.

What embarrasses them?

Being forced to take care of himself.

What is their favorite number?

He doesn't have one, as it would seem wrong to him to pick a favorite out of infinity. If he were to pick, it would be 2, as he loves his brother Michael, who was the second angel. Lucifer always did everything he could to be second to his brother, elevating him above himself.

Everything changed when he fell from grace...

The reverence is still there, but stained in blood.

If they were asked to explain the difference between romantic and platonic or familial love, how would they do so?

Kinda?

He'd explain familial love as a duty and a burden at times. That it's a responsibility etched in blood, that sometimes feels like you can only be freed from through spilling it. But with some family, you will love them so much you will spill gallons of your own, and they'll hate you for it, because they'll wish they did the same first. As the way with family is. It's your responsibility to die for them. Ingrained in you. Making any betrayal from them poison your blood.

Platonic love is finding someone outside of your family, that you feel just as strongly for. They are the family, whose blood is not your own, but you would spill your blood just the same for them. You might even trust them more than family, as protecting you is not their birthright, but they protect you nonetheless. You are supposed to feel inclined to do the same. People you platonically love are kin, unfortunately fated to only know you by chance instead of default at birth.

...then romance is Asmodeus’s department- He just knows it has to do with mates.

Why do they get up in the morning?

He is needed, and important. Much to his dismay. Had it his way, he would never wake up again, and no one would miss him. Alas, he is a beloved leader despite his flaws, and he still has a family that loves and depends on their big brother.

How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)?

Depends, honestly. If he's jealous over something silly with his siblings, he'll be over dramatic to annoy them.

But if he's jealous of someone for their looks, power, social standing, or even their home, it will manifest in a "holier than thou" way. He'll judge and mock the person he's jealous of, till they stop taking everything for granted. He'll still feel jealous after the person starts appreciating their blessings of having a loving home, or not being plagued by genocide. But he'll feel a little better knowing it isn't wasted.

Is sex something that they’re comfortable speaking about? To whom?

He is only comfortable talking about it with kids, and it is always in a "puberty sucks, mating is painful for us, here's what to expect when your hormones start changing" type of way. He is great at the Birds and The Bees talk, as he likes learning about sex in theory.

He usually has the talk with Lambttens during or after mating season. As this is when they'll have the most questions. There is no beating around the bush, no storks or cabbage patch babies. Lambttens don't know what a stork or a cabbage is-

Give it to the kids straight. Tell them to wait when they older to they don't tear their own flesh. Let them know to warn lucifer of creeps that somehow became demons.

What are their thoughts on marriage?

None. Zip. Zero. Nada.

He forgets it exists until either:

A. Someone he knows is getting married.

B. He just remembered a culture fact about a civilization he used to visit as an angel, and the fact just so happened to be about marriage.

What is their preferred mode of transportation?

Used to love flying...

But then he liked chariots and boats.

Once those fell out of style, he LOVED steam engines.

What causes them to feel dread?

The smell of blood, or holy light. So he's constantly feeling dread!

Would they prefer a lie over an unpleasant truth?

Depends... truth is important when keeping people safe.

...but he'll lie about himself being okay, and he'll tell you that you'll be fine even when he knows that isn't true. Better to die with hope, than die in fear.

Do they usually live up to their own ideals?

He tries, but he shoots himself in the foot when he starts saying he doesn't deserve the same liberties. He's kind, forgiving, and unconditionally loving!

...to everyone but himself.

Lucifer is just Jesus with imposter's syndrome.

Who do they most regret meeting?

His father. He wishes he was never born.

Who are they the most glad to have met?

...everyone else. The existence of other gods, man, beasts, and even plants made his existence a little more bearable.

Do they have a go-to story in conversation? Or a joke?

He usually trauma dumps as an ice breaker, but that's to get someone to know they're not alone when they suffer, and lucifer is there to be a shoulder to cry on.

In a fluffier setting, when speaking to mortal kids, he pretends to be a sad, lonely monster, that wants a friend. He then calls himself Luci the Goat-Cat, and makes up a wild story about how his mother was a goat, and his father was a cat that had forbidden love (no two stories about this is identical, he just goes along with guesses. "Yes, my parents stole a rocket ship to go to Mars, to escape the farmer! How did you know? I thought my parents never made the news!").

Other than that, he tends to be straightforward, blunt, or makes jokes at his own expense.

Could they be considered lazy?

No. He is the exact opposite of lazy, PLEASE HOLD HIM DOWN SO HE CAN NAP-

How hard is it for them to shake a sense of guilt?

He is 18,243,004,673 as of current (going off of our year. He'll be 18,243,004,674 in September.), and he still feels guilty over things he did when he was 12. Safe so say:

FUCK YES, HE WILL NEVER LET GO

How do they treat the things their friends come to them excited about? Are they supportive?

YES. He loves seeing other people happy, and will gladly lay his giant head in their lap and listen for HOURS. He'll learn everything on the subject, and talk about ancient knowledge related to it. If your mortal, he might even bring up an ancestor of yours that he knew that was also into something similar.

Do they actively seek romance, or do they wait for it to fall into their lap?

He actively walks the other direction without realizing it. Flirt to his face, he will take you literally.

"Did it hurt when you fell from heaven~"

"Yes it did, I still remember screaming and crying for my father... I can still feel the wind, forcing air underneath my skin where it's loose on my back wounds..."

"...O-OH."

"...I'm such a terrible person, I should have never had wings in the first place..."

*runs the other direction as this did NOT go as planned*

This man has never been interested in mating, and has completely forgotten that people can and will be sexually and romantically attracted to his Pathetic Wet Meow Meow personality and his Daddy Issues and Catholic Guilt swagger.

Do they have a system for remembering names, long lists of numbers, things that need to go in a certain order (like anagrams, putting things to melodies, etc)?

Whatever he needs to remember, he writes down in blood on a wall. No walls avaliable, he trusts his brain to keep the knowledge, only to be betrayed by his greymatter.

His siblings will be more likely to remember things than he is, since they actually sleep.

What memory do they revisit the most often?

...the aftermath of him falling from grace.

How easy is it for them to ignore flaws in other people?

Surprisingly easy, as long as he can eventually reach them and help them redeem themselves.

If the flaws involve mental illness, however, he will simply give finger guns in solidarity, before giving personal tips.

How sensitive are they to their own flaws?

...VERY. Everyone can be redeemed, except for himself, who committed the first sin of being a 12 year old boy that wanted a little appreciation for his art and for humanity to be healthy. What a monster/s

How do they feel about children?

Head empty. Only baby.

He LOVES kids and would die for them if he could physically die. Anyone who hurts a child, is his meal.

How badly do they want to reach their end goal?

...it's one of the few things he lives for. He has to protect the family he has with him, and save the family that slaughters his kind...

His own brother is archenemy, but he may STILL be in there... somewhere...

...right?

If someone asked them to explain their sexuality, how would they do so?

You would have to brief him on what a sexuality is, really quick, and he would still struggle a little, using extremely outdated terms... like the definitions were in the Library of Alexandria, outdated.

If that doesn't work, he'd just explain that mating is gross, and he loves everyone equally, and that it feels weird and wrong to love someone more than he does his neighbor.

He'll figure out what acearo means. He'll get there. He is simultaneously a little kid and an old grandpa when it comes to teaching him new terms.

i think its hilarious people are calling m cb’s girlfriend when that horny mfer is still liking half naked insta models pics as of a day or two ago. if he had a gf he wouldn’t (i hope) disrespected her like that. whereas i think sg and k are probably together or at least in the early stages bc they definitely seem cutesy together whereas all pics of cb and m (including nye) have ‘we’re just having fun’ vibes. also the way m is dressing and still posting on insta, she’s definitely not giving off ‘i have a bf’ vibes.

people just stiring drama (not u, ofc. ur the only snc blog i keep up with bc you have reasonable answers to this stuff) in the tag calling both girls the ‘girlfriends’ lol

plus as a personal observation as someone who’s only known who snc are since october, cb doesnt strike me as someone who will settle down before 30 (if he ever wants to). hes 27 now right? maybe in the coming years he might start wanting something solid but he strikes me as someone who isnt looking for that rn. idk im 29 this year and im sort of in the same boat. like only the last 6 months have i been thinking ok its probably time to find someone…

i mean, i would assume he'd not do that either, but i think it also depends on what m feels like. she might not care. also there are a lot of girls colby is just friends with, and he'll like their scantily clad pics so idk about it being an issue.

and as for what she wears, again, i don't think that matters. colby doesn't seem like the type to want his girl to fully cover up or whatever. and also, just bc you're in a relationship doesn't mean you have to dress conservatively. you still have the same body underneath, whether or not you show it off. and if she feels confident, who gives a fuck what colby thinks lol

but as i've stated before, idk how serious m and colby could be. they've only known each other since sam's bday. so they've only been together for a month and some change so… eh. if they want to be together forever, so be it. that's awesome. if not, it is what it is.

as for sam and k/la girl, yeah idk about them either. they've seemingly been together since septemberish. so, it could be serious and lead to something more committed. or it could just be a silly fling that lasts for a bit of time and then ends. but i hope they enjoy whatever time they do spend together.

colby has had almost exclusively flings since 2016 after he broke up with his only girlfriend (or he claims to be his only girlfriend). he has a lot that he needs to work on internally before he starts committing to anyone. he himself has said that basically. so i don't see him settling down anytime soon, but who knows. and same thing with sam. he just got out of a long relationship, so my first thought would not be to jump into another one. but he also has said he's a monogamous person and likes being in relationships. so… it's a bit up in the air for both of them. but i don't see them settling down any time soon.

and as for me, there's always been just a lot going on in my life so i've never really taken time to focus on my love life. or the couple times i have, it's been unrequited and heartache. however, i'm very happy i didn't date when i was younger bc i genuinely hated myself for a long time. and i just know i would have tolerated a lot more bc i didn't care about me and just didn't want to be alone. like i was borderline abused by dudes i wasn't even seeing back then. now, i love myself (for the most part lol) and have no issues being alone. and i also know what i want. and if a man, or woman, ever tried anything with me, i'll just leave lmao

At this point I would rather OC just confess her feelings to Beomgyu and be vulnerable, rather than keep hiding and going along with Yeonjun.

Like oh my god it’s so frustrating!! What’s the worst that could happen? You get rejected…sure she might lose a friendship but I feel like her getting more friends and interacting with more human beings is for the better because maybe if she had one other person to talk to, she would get some perspective on the situation realise what needs to change.

She’s acting like she’s gonna drop dead if he rejects her, like it’s the end of the world.

At this point she’d rather get married to Yeonjun and live a life of fake happiness, wishing and dreaming about ‘what could’ve been’ instead of actually pursuing who she wants. And that’s not fair to anyone it’s a lose-lose situation, Yeonjun won’t be happy, she won’t be happy…who knows about Beomgyu (although he probably wouldn’t be happy either) nobody is benefiting from it so I say confess to him get your heart ripped out of your chest and fed to you on a platter and then move on because this is not the vibe.

Honestly, I kind of just wish someone would take some action. Nobody is happy, and no one’s doing anything about it and it’s just growing and snowballing. Now we’re thinking of moving in with each other but nobody wants that and everyone just fights and it’s the same thing over and over…don’t get me wrong I love the story but yeah…

OC is kidding herself if she thinks her relationship with Yeonjun is helping her get over Beomgyu 😭 and no one is telling her! And she doesn’t have enough self-awareness to realise.

Keep up the good work tho, can’t remember the last time the fanfic made me feel like this 💗

As someone kind of in her situation in a way, it's not easy to just get more friends and other opportunities. I've moved away some 8 months ago and I'm still very much alone in a way. Oc depended a lot on gyu for comfort and safety and emotional support and it's very hard to replace that. She won't just be losing the man she loves but also her best friend. It's hard.

But also while she's still not over gyu, that doesn't mean her feelings for Yeonjun aren't genuine. She does like him and wants to make it work.

Okay so I know I have a bunch of drafts but I really want to talk about my Ideas for Sae's Palace in my AU

To start off with, if you're familiar with the AU at all, you'd know that the MetaNav just straight up doesn't exist, so you might be wondering how I'd even do Sae's Palace? Like is it more about changing her heart through character interactions, kinda like how they do in-game but just making that the focus?

Yes and no.

They do actually go into her Palace, but to explain the how and why of it, there's some setup I need to do first.

See, the way this world works is that with every Persona user awakened by the Metaverse Serum (AF-15), the more the Metaverse begins to leak into the real world. And by the time of Sae's arc, there's now no less than 8 people awakened in this manner, meaning that the connection is now strong enough for something major to cross over, provided it got a little push.

The specifics of this I haven't exactly worked out yet, but someone (probably Akechi being driven mad by his symbiote) sets off a device that causes Palaces to erupt out of the ground, covering the surrounding area in a thick fog that turns people into mindless puppets for the shadows to control, forcing them to go out and bring more people into it. (If you've read my Other Verses doc, this is the scenario that inspired the Kingdom Come verse)

Naturally, this whole scenario isn't something the team was prepared to handle, and since it's affecting the entire city, they need to split up to take care of things, trying to save as many people as they can.

There's a lot that happens during this section, with each of the team members getting their own little missions fighting against one of the palaces (including a lot of original ones, as aside from Shido, Okumura, and Futaba, every other Palace Ruler is in prison and they sort of turn the place into a mishmash of all of their Palaces), either on their own or in small groups, before meeting back up to try and get things back to normal.

Now before we get into Sae proper, we need to do a bit more background to catch you up on her history in this world.

At the beginning of the year, Makoto and Sae's father was still alive, and was a police captain heading the team assigned to bring in the Spider-Man. But while he eventually realizes that they're on the same side, and even helps Aaron and the team against the Shadow Possessed victims, in the end he dies, getting stabbed through the chest by Jack-o'-lantern (As in someone possessed by a Jack-o'-lantern/Pyro Jack, though an evolved version of it that was strengthened by Yaldabaoth to make it more akin to the comic book supervillain of the same name. He's got a sort of Grim Reaper vibe to him, including a gigantic scythe blade on one of his arms) taking a blow that was meant for Aaron.

This naturally scars Makoto pretty badly, since she saw it happen. And while she didn't see the event herself, Sae was no different. She and her father had grown a bit distant over the years, but she still loved and respected him greatly, so losing him really tore her up inside.

Seeing this as an opportunity, Shido pulled some strings to make it seem as though it was Spider-Man who killed Captain Niijima. After all, no one really knew what happened that night, only that the Captain was last seen chasing after the vigilante, and while he didn't use it often, Aaron was known to carry a knife, even if it had a completely different blade from the actual murder weapon.

So Sae, believing in the lies of the falsified autopsy report, began to hunt down the Phantom Spider like her life depended on it.

Over the course of the next few months, Makoto would encounter the symbiote, which led to her lashing out at everyone around her as it took advantage of rage and grief. This would include her sister, and while the team would get her to come to her senses, it would lead to Sae finding out that she not only knew, but worked alongside the Spider. And while she would forgive her for what she did while wearing the suit, that revelation would cause her to disown her younger sister, forcing Makoto to stay with Futaba and Sojiro until she could get her bearings again.

NOW back to our present crisis, despite the growing rift between the two, Makoto still cares deeply for her sister, and immediately rushes to her workplace to make sure she's okay. Only to find a casino standing in the place of the courthouse.

Makoto manages to infiltrate the place, searching desperately for Sae, only to find her on a sort of show stage, being held captive by her Shadow. She tries to free her but ends up getting caught, and is forced to relinquish her symbiote to keep her sister from harm.

Aaron, having just wrapped up dealing with all of his old villains and the Shadows of the Palace Rulers trying to break out of prison, gets word (somehow, I'm not quite sure yet. Maybe Futaba??) that Makoto has been captured, and despite how exhausted he is, he immediately rushes over to try to save her.

Now I'm not quite sure how to work this in, but an idea I had that I thought would make for a neat scene was if Shadow Sae, for some reason, forced the two sisters to do a duet of Whims of Fate (inspired by this cover of the song). Not really sure why, maybe she's just toying with them or something, but I really like the concept.

As this is going on, Aaron begins tearing through the casino, fighting through hoards of shadows, chucking roulette tables across rooms, smashing through walls. He's getting tired but he can't afford to wait even a second, not while Makoto's in danger.

He breaks into the show room, and the second Sae sees him (the man who she believes killed her father), she snaps. Her shadow immediately transforms into Leviathan and begins to tear into the Spider. Makoto seeing this as a chance to escape, trying to use the fight as a distraction to get Sae to safety and get her suit back.

But Sae refuses to move, just staring at the battle before her in silence, almost frozen, but not due to trauma of seeing the Spider again. She's seen him before, several times. No, she's rather torn. Part of her wants him to see justice, to be brought in for his crime and unmasked. But another part of her, the part her shadow embodies, just wants him dead, wants him to suffer like she had to. So she just... watches.

Makoto isn't satisfied with that, though. She tries again and again to get through to her sister, to get her away from here or to convince her that Aaron didn't do it, but nothing seems to work. All the while Aaron is fighting for his life, and he's losing. He's too worn out, and can barely keep up with Leviathan's onslaught of attacks.

Eventually, Makoto figures out that the only way she'll be able to get through is by confessing everything, recounting how she was there when their Dad died, how she saw him get stabbed through the chest to save Aaron, how he fought so hard to keep them all safe, how they did everything they could to save him but it wasn't enough. It's painful for her, to relive one of the worst moments of her life, but she can't let her sister keep lashing out at the wrong man.

It takes Sae a while to process this, unsure if she entirely believes it. But in the end, she decides to act, helping Makoto get her symbiote back and working with her to take down her shadow and get them all out of here.

This would eventually lead to her getting her Persona, though it wouldn't happen right away. She needs to confirm the lies for herself, and come to terms with just how close her darker half came to killing someone, and how she was content to just watch it happen. But at some point, either towards the end or after the Palace situation is resolved, she would awaken to her power (One of the only natural awakenings in the AU, because yeah the connection to the Metaverse is now so strong that Personas can manifest in reality without the serum) as the Wraith.

She'd be a sort of mix between Wraith from the comics and Daredevil (both OG and Electra flavours), using her Persona to induce fear in her enemies, as well as hard hitting physical and gun skills, twin stun batons which she can ricochet off walls like Daredevil's billy clubs, and Wraith's wrapping... thingies for swinging around or tying people up.

I'm not entirely sure what her Persona would be though. I've seen some people either give her a Transformer like Makoto, or turn Leviathan into her Persona, and while I feel like that last one has some potential, I also think she should have something more... original I guess?

I don't know, kinda just spitballing at this point. Most of this stuff is very loose and definitely still needs some work, but I think the general idea is solid.

But anyways, that's my concept. Someday I want to flesh out the rest of this arc, like have an actual explanation for the Palace thing as well as a resolution to it, plus all the little side stories that take place with the rest of the team (I'd love for Futaba to come across the Palace of a shut-in who's going through something similar to what she does in canon, and for Haru to take on Sugimura. Maybe even have Ann and Ryuji come help Aaron at the prison so they can team up to take down Kamoshida, since they weren't actually a part of that fight in this universe).

There's a lot of potential here, honestly.

Breakdown of Linzin's Kids in the "You Are My Life" AU

For any readers who keep up with my Linzin AU called "You Are My Life" and my new storyline for this particular universe, "Choices, Chances, Changes," I always thought that sometimes it can get confusing to keep up with Linzin OC kids.

And mine is no exception. So I finally took the time to break down my OC linzin kids to make easier for the readers to keep up with their names/bending/personalities. In order from oldest to youngest:

Meilin Beifong

Looks almost exactly like Lin, except with grey eyes

Earthbender/metalbender - according to Toph, she's going to be her successor

Talented in the performing arts (particularly music and dance). She's a singer, dancer, and performer. Dance and music has been her passion from a very young age, and Linzin encouraged this talent because they saw that this was a path she wanted to pave for herself. Bends a variety of her metal costumes on-stage as part of her act

Personality - think current Lady Gaga vibes. She's sensual, elegant, badass, brutally honest, yet speaks kindly about others and to them. Has high expectations of herself and especially in her craft, constantly trying to improve as a singer/dancer. As the oldest sibling, she is extremely protective of her family and that might be a trait she inherited from Lin. Due to a particular incident (this will be referenced in a future chapter of "Choices, Chances, Changes") it was the catalyst that made her the strong and beautifully minded woman she is now.

Flaw is that she expects everyone to work as diligently as she does. Clashes with Lin because they have the a lot of the same habits and outspoken nature with each other. She's also extremely particular about the types of friends she has bc she's unsure if they genuinely want to befriend her or if they're trying to get close because of the Beifong name

Also, she's horny. Must have gotten that from her parents. She knows she's hot af and can get any man she wants. Down for a hook-up or long-term. Depends on the person.

Jin Beifong

Resembles Tenzin if he had hair, but with green eyes

Airbender

18 months apart from Mei (yup, the math is pretty easy here)

Very reserved personality, laid-back, enjoys reading, not much of an extrovert. However, he is extremely competitive. No one believes it until they play against him and the siblings in kuai ball. Or hear him yelling at his brother during the school probending competitions.

He is academically inclined and has excellent memorization skills

Although he is an airbender and wants to carry on the Air Nation culture, one of the things he wanted to do was become a professor and teach about his own culture in a more modernized way. This kind of created some clashing between him and Tenzin bc of their conflicting views on how to preserve their own culture.

Flaw - he always has to be right or prove others wrong. It comes off in an arrogant manner at times with people who aren't familiar with his personality. Also, he didn't go to school with two of his siblings so social skills aren't as strong.

Kang Beifong

Earthbender/metalbender

"first twin" by 4 minutes

Personality - a combination of David Rose (Schitt's Creek), Five (the Umbrella Academy), and Toph.

Sassy af, he will tell you what's wrong with your face directly to your face. Anytime he roasts someone or is about to spit straight facts to his opponent, his language becomes academically elegant to reinforce his intellect and sass. Also loves to joke around, especially with Lin. He's very in tune with his emotions and often talks it out with his sisters because they're more willing to listen than Jin. He likes to look sharp and good, so often collaborating with Mei over fashion and presentation when they attend galas with their parents

Flaw - he can be very judgmental of others and is also extremely selective about his group of friends bc of the Beifong name. His sass and extremely outspoken nature makes him intimidating to a lot of people, especially when his voice gets loud.

Has a wide set of interests including sports and also fashion design + tailoring.

Areum Beifong

Airbender

Second twin

The sweetheart, the cinnamon roll of the Beifong children. Definitely inherited Aang's peaceful and sweet-tempered nature. She sees the best in people and is empathetic. Spiritually inclined and always attracting animals or children who manage to wobble away from their parents.

She has a tendency of self-comparing herself to her siblings because she feels that she's not as outspoken or sassy like many perceive Beifongs to be. From her POV, her older sis is a famous celebrity in the entertainment world, her big brother is an academic genius, her twin brother is known for his snappy comebacks and sassy personality, while she's not quite sure what she really brings to the table. Except that she's the sweet one.

Has a good relationship with all of her siblings and parents. Very close with Mei, not just bc they're sisters, but bc Mei saved her life.

Summer in Kattegat

Hello!! Finally I can show you what I’ve been working on for the past two months 🥰 This was an idea I had for Christmas, but I didn’t have time to do it and I realized there was too many fics to fit them in 2 weeks, so I decided to do it for summer instead, there's more time and it kind of fits the vibe much better in my opinion!

please don’t judge me I literally did this at 4am

And what’s the idea? While writing my fic for the Vikings Big Bang, I found a notebook I have where I wrote short stories inspired by Taylor Swift songs (I just reimagined the story she was telling in narrative). I reread them and even wrote a few more. I thought it would be nice to share them with someone so I turned them into fanfics! And all of them have certain similarities: they’re set in a Modern!AU, in which Kattegat is a small city in southern Norway during summer. There’s different stories with different plots and all of them have an ending. For now I'm writing for Ivar, Hvitserk and Ubbe, but I do have an idea with Björn and I might manage to find another one for Sigurd. And all of them are reader insert (sorry! I know most of you hate it, but I really didn’t have time to create an OC for each story😭)

And all of them will have very ugly moodboards made by ME! did you see what I did there? like the one you can see up there 😭

Does this mean I won’t post anything else during this summer? Nope. I still need to post an one shot called Deal which is an Ivar&Hvitserk/Reader (👀), I need to continue Back To You and other series and I might drop other things too!

Can someone else post things for this project too? Absolutely🥺 In fact, I thought of making this a challenge, but I didn’t want it to flop😭 So I’m giving you all the chance to post your own Summer in Kattegat works! Whether it’s art, fics... Anything! There’s only one rule: it has to be set in summer (vikings era, modern or any other AU you’d like). That’s it! When you post it, I’ll add it to the main masterlist!

When and how often am I going to post? If everything goes well tomorrow I will post the first one. I still don’t know whether it will be Ubbe/Reader or Hvitserk/Reader, whichever I finish editing first! And I will try to post very often! I have a couple of trips planned for this summer so I’ll make sure to leave them scheduled in case I can't post!😌

Am I back to writing? Yes, I think so😭 I’m not going to lie, I had some rough months and I thought ugly things :( suddenly I didn’t want to write, read, watch films or series, go out with friends... I only wanted to stay in bed all day, and I practically had to force myself to do things, which left me exhausted. I was a bit burnt out and I realized I had to stop for a while before I ended up hating it. Until now! I can’t say whether I’m fine or not because it depends of the day, but I’m much better than I was three months ago. I had time to process everything, including my surgery, the treatment (which is being a nightmare tbh), all the changes in my life... So yeah, it’s a start!

Do I love Ivar with my entire heart? Yes.

I don’t know what else I can say! The titles for the three firsts fics are Enchanted (Ubbe), Style (Hvitserk) and The Way I Loved You (Ivar). These will be the first ones I post🥰

How would you recommend regularly updating stories as I have some of my own and need advice

*side-eyes my own WIPs that have gone months/years without updates* :|

My dude, I wish I had a concrete answer. In my experience, having an outline really helps because it's less like you're making it up as you go along, and that can be super daunting. Having someone who personally holds you accountable (not just readers, but like a friend who's willing to nag you about it) has helped me in the past. Enjoying the content, both in terms of the source material and your story itself, is pretty important to me.

Scheduling time to write each day or setting daily goals has never helped me much, but it might work for you. I do have certain music and stuff that I put on in the background that helps me focus.

I'd also recommend choosing one of these methods (I flip-flop between them depending on mood and other things): pick one and get it done, or put a few into a rotation, writing a chapter for one, then another, then a third, etc. before circling back again. Sometimes I need the latter method to help keep me from getting bored with a concept. Sometimes I need to focus on an idea and get it written without distractions. You gotta figure out which you vibe with, and it might change.

My last, most important piece of advice is this: don't beat yourself up for not updating. If you turn it into a chore, if you punish yourself for "failing," if you squeeze all the fun out of it... well, that's not going to help you all.

I’m actually new to the Tumblr RP community and it’s sort of confusing to take in at first so I’d love some advice, thank you so much in advance for anything!

I’m not really sure where to start or how to search for roleplays, appropriately make or tag them, or terms like “muses”? I’ve seen it around, but I’m never sure what it means.

My only experience in getting involved in the roleplay community on other platforms would be through things like “communities” or basically a big user ground labeled “something RP”, but there’s nothing like that here. How would I reach out / extend my reach?

Oh!! Well first and foremost, welcome to the RP side of Tumblr! It's been a few years since I've been active in the roleplay community myself, so I encourage you to take my advice with a grain of salt as I'm sure things have changed!

That being said, starting into the rp community can be a daunting task for sure. Navigating tagging, links, etc is an acquired skill, but certainly not impossible! Just remember to be patient with yourself and allow a few dink-ups along the way.

Now, let me preface this by saying that the tagging system here is dogshit! Completely terrible! But using appropriate tags for your roleplay is still extremely important, as it helps other individuals either find you or avoid you! Lengthy roleplays can be a bit of an eyesore on the dash if you aren't involved in the community so using #rp or #roleplay each time will help the filters out.

I strongly recommend checking out this blog for more relevant roleplay etiquette, which also has some pretty great information on the tagging system! The individual running it has stepped down though, so it's just for perusing and not an active help blog!

Now, muses! Muses are simply a source of inspiration. In the sense of roleplay, they are the chosen character the roleplayer is using in the RP. Fictional or nonfictional, original or established, anything can be your source of inspiration. A similar term thrown around is a face claim. A picture of the muse to display, very simply, what the character looks like. That can get messy if you aren't careful, as you want to make sure you're crediting the artist or not claiming pictures of someone else's original work under the guise of 'inspiration'. Some use photos of celebrities or stock images, not as official 'this is what my character looks like' but more as a 'this is the ballpark of vibes I'm going for'.

Remember, if you want to have a specific picture for your muse, commission someone to make it for you, or make it yourself! The RP community can be fantastic for exploring other hobbies, depending on what kind of flavor you want to implement! I've seen people make comics, paper crafts, or customized photography for whatever their scene requires! I've even been a part of an immersive horror rp that went on for months as a real-time mystery.

To get yourself out there, I HIGHLY recommend fandom first. It might be a bit controversial, but having a fandom oc or character will start you in an established universe and provide the basics of familiarizing yourself with roleplay. From there, you can expand universes and begin interacting with other non-fandom characters!

And how would you interact with them? Roleplay memes/ask games are a great source, those huge lists of prompts with numbers next to them? Yeah those are fantastic for getting started. Just choose a few of them at a time and start writing! Just don't over exert yourself! If you aren't getting any replies or interaction, that doesn't reflect on your ability by any means. Just have patience and write for your OWN enjoyment.

You can also send prompts to other RP blogs! People usually love reblogging those big lists so if you have a few folks in mind that you'd like to start roleplaying with, shoot them an ask!

Anyways, I hope you can glean what you need from this response! If there are any specifics you'd like to know about, I'll always be here. I wish you best of luck with establishing yourself within our roleplay community, and once again, welcome!!

“When I first discovered I was autistic it was like a light bulb went off and suddenly I could see the shape of my life. I began to look around with this new lens and things began to make sense. I could see why people attached words like “cold”, “standoffish”, “mysterious”, “shy”, and “quiet” to me even when I was always trying to keep a fire in.”

“I was regarded by the people around me as an oddity, almost like them, but not quite. Just a quirky novelty, not someone to be respected or loved.”

“It felt like coming home. I was able to share my experience with my family and not feel pressure to think quickly in order to preserve this false illusion of myself. I was free but also unsettled as I was out of my cage and am not sure how to act. Slowly, I allowed myself to act proudly in weird ways that feel more authentic.”

The Prenup

Summary: After four years of being together and finally being engaged, Chris wants you to sign a prenup.

Warnings: angst, swearing, chris getting his ass handed to him, a lot of pain.

Part Two Part Three Part Four Final Chapter

Scrounging through the little desk in the corner of Chris and you's bedroom, you hear him let out a boisterous laugh.

He was watching some movie and there was a certain part that he found so hilarious. After 4 years of watching it with him constantly, you still don't get what's so funny. But it makes him happy so that's what matters.

You were searching for the wine opener so Scott could get his middle-aged-4-kids-divorcee vibe on. You cleaned the other day and stuck it in there after a nightly dose of freakydeaky from Chris, which consisted of wine, whipped cream, and a many different forms of chocolate.

After what seemed like forever, you find the corkscrew and grin at your accomplishment. You take one more look in the drawer out of habit and you spot a big orange envelope with Chris' name on it. Being the nosy curious person you are, you take the envelope out and get a good look at it. You see the words Prenuptial Agreement in bold and your heart drops.

Chris had proposed to you 9 months ago and you were happy beyond words. After being together for 4 years, he finally put away his commitment troubles and made you his fianceé. And now you find out he's going to get you to sign a prenup. A fucking prenup.

You look around the room at loss for words. You were angry, hurt and confused. After 4 years of being together, he doesn't have faith in his own judgment that you guys would be together forever? You both have been through literally everything. There isn't one thing you don't know about each other. Your relationship was rare and it was special.

After moments of contemplation, you decide you would confront him on it. There's no way you could carry on the night and sleep after this. Not until you get your answers. Closing the drawer, you take a sharp breath and exhale before walking out the room. You get back to the dining table where Lisa and his siblings surrounded.

"Here you go Scott" you say slamming the corkscrew on the table in front of him. He looks up at you, puzzled. You glance at him then at Chris and he's looking at you just the same. Evidently your tone matched your movements because everyone went silent. You draw back and put both hands behind your back and huff.

"Babe, are you alright?" It was Christopher talking to you now. Your attention goes to him and your lips are in a thin line. Refraining from blowing up at him, you force smile on your face and change your tone of voice.

"What do you mean, honey? I'm fine." You should leave the acting to Chris honestly. That's definitely not your field of expertise. Shifting on your right foot, you stare at him. He shuffles and tilts his head with a knowing look.

"Spill it Y/N. What's up?"

"The flames when I burn this damn house down." So much for not blowing up. You snatch the envelope in front of you and chuck it on the table. Everyone watches the exchange and the envelope fly to the table. All their faces change from confusion to shock and even more confusion.

Chris didn't even need to look down to know it was the prenup. His eyes went from you to the wall. Guilt written all over it, you almost wish you gave a shit. You wonder how long he was going to keep this hidden from you. No need to wonder now.

"You want to explain to me why you have a prenup?" You place your hand on your hip and roll your neck at him.

"I got that for us."

You swear to everything you wanted to lunge at him right then and there. 'I got that for us'. Why do people always use that excuse for everything? They weren't thinking about you, just themselves and expected you to go along with it.

"You got it for us? I know you didn't do this on your own. Who put you up to it?" You look around the room. Scott has his hands up shaking his head. Carly and Shanna both let out a quiet "not me". You look at Lisa who had this look of hurt.

"Chris, you tell me everything. How did I not know about this? Why didn't you tell me?" Well now you know she didn't suggest it. You feel slightly guilty for letting it cross your mind, but you had your reasons.

"Ma, I had my reasons. I kept it hidden because I didn't know how I felt about it myself" he says rubbing his face and fixing his hair under his cap. Still didn't answer your question.

"Christopher, who put you up to this? Tell me now!" You're getting fired up by the minute. You have an idea who it could be too.

"Megan. She thought that it would be smart to consider. Just to protect me."

"Megan." Your voice is laced with absolute venom. "You know Chris, she does a good job keeping you out of trouble and bullshit so you're not all over the tabloids, but sometimes, her ass is too much!"

Chris is never in the news for anything negative. He's always minding his business and moving quietly. Megan is a great publicist, but she can be pretty overbearing about his personal life. She gave you side eye for like the entire first year of you guys' relationship.

"Baby, she was just looking out for me. You know how it is, women getting with you for your money. Guys loose half of everything they have when getting divorces."

You can't even believe it.

"I am not 'women'. I'm your fianceé. We've been together 4 years, Chris! After all this time your material things come before me?" Tears are puddled at your eyes now and your voice is cracking. This catches his attention.

"I told you from the start Chris, that I never cared about your money! Never have and never will. I am used to not having much. I'm not money hungry or concerned for having top tier everything. I've learned to settle."

"Y/N, I didn't mea-" you slam your hand on the table, making everyone jump. Chris shuts his mouth.

"I'm. Not. Finished. I am not marrying your bank account. I'm not marrying your cars. I'm not marrying your house. I don't give a damn about any of that shit. And you literally are still concerned about all of that?" Your face is wet and your nose is runny. You wipe your nose and cross your arms.

"It's not even like that!" Now he's getting upset. For literally nothing. This is his fault. "It's just in case it doesn't work out, we don't need to deal with all the extra mess."

That completely shattered you. In case it doesn't work out. He actually has thoughts that your marriage couldn't work. What would even cause that? You guys don't even argue. You don't even remember the last time you did. You've learned to understand what each other needs and mastered that. What is he on about?

"You know what the sad part is? Us not working out crossed my mind in, like, the first year of our relationship. And I decided that if we did get married, and God forbid we divorced, I wouldn't take anything from you."

He looked at you like he just found out he wasn't the father of your baby.

"Yeah, Chris. That's your money. You made it, not me, so why would I ask for any of it from you? You gave me an amazing relationship and thats enough for me."

"Oh my goodness." Everyone directs their attention to Scott. "So you wouldn't want anything from the divorce?"

"Of course not! I came in this relationship for him. Plus a make my own money. I don't need anyone else's."

You had your own business. Many employees at different buildings in Boston. You didn't have much growing up and you were proud of yourself for not having to worry about financial issues. Chris liked that you had your own thing going and didn't have to adapt to his life and depend on him financially. And he still got a prenup.

Feeling like you were gonna cry again, you rub your temples and take deep breaths to prevent it. But you failed and started crying more. Chris got up and moved to stand in front of you.

"Baby, I'm sorry I upset you. I thought you would be okay with this. Like you said, you don't care about my money so what's wrong with the prenup?" His hands were on your sides, but not for long as you shook them off of you.

"What's wrong with it? What this is telling me is three things. You have doubt that our marriage won't work out, you think I might change my mind and ask for alimony, and that your money comes before me."

"I..." he struggles to form words. You take this chance to get out of there.

"I really don't want to be here right now." Chris looks up and grabs your arm.

"Babe, you don't need to go. Where the hell are you gonna go?" You turn and grab the envelope from the table. You open it and pull the papers out, shoving it in his face.

"I'll go to a hotel or something, but I'm not staying here if this is the shit you're trying to pull with me." You turn the paper to you and look in disgust. You scan over it and your eyes fall on the dotted line where you need to sign. Beside it is where he needed to sign his.

Well not anymore.

You read over his signature on the line. Chris Evans.

He signed the prenup already. Now he was just waiting for your signature. He really was leaving you zero choice.

"You signed it already??" Everyone at the table head snapped up. Shanna gasped and covered her mouth. Lisa mumbles an "oh no" under her breath.

"So you were just going to bring it to me and expect me to sign it with no fight, huh?"

Chris says nothing, but his face is red. You don't wait for a response and walk to your shoes and your bag. Already having everything in there, you slip your shoes on and walk back to Chris.

"Just a heads up, you brought this on yourself."

You whip around and walk to the fireplace. You chuck the papers and envelope in the blaze and turn back to him.

"You can forget about that damn prenup, cause I'm not signing it. As a matter a fact, you don't even have to worry about that because there won't be a chance of us divorcing." You force a smile and clasp your hands together. Lisa and Scott rise from the table panicking.

"Babe, no-"

"Forget the wedding, this engagement and all of it. You can take this fucking ring too." You pry the ring off your fingers and throw it at him. It hits his chest and falls at his feet.

"I'm not marrying you."

You turn on your heel, grab your purse and jacket, walking out the door, leaving the Evans' speechless.

Was this too dramatic? I have my own opinions on a prenup, but maybe it's not as big as it seems? Idk🥴.
