// finally wrote up a drabble for a super heavy conversation between koshiro & his mother , which got long & kind of irrelevant in most of my threads with him right now . but i was feeling angsty so i’m posting this anyway . enjoy . fair warning , i didn’t bother to spell check this . lmaooo .
also , this is entirely headcanon .
warning: csa & r*pe mentions .

❝ mom ? ❞ koshiro calls from outside his mother's bedroom door , peaking in from the small space where it stayed ajar . his step-father was on a business trip , not set to come home for another 2 days or so , depending on the train schedules . he'd come home that weekend specifically because he knew that man wouldn't be around , but even then it still took him until sunday evening to even build the courage for this conversation - one he'd suppressed for close to 15 years .
" come in , sweetheart ! i'm just putting some of my laundry away - " his mother's voice is as pure & chipper as ever . she's just as she always was , a bright woman with a beautiful smile as she stood by her closet door , comfortably dressed in pajama pants & a pastel-colored hoodie with the name of koshiro's university embroidered by the right sleeve . koshiro meanders into the room , closing the door so the dogs wouldn't follow him in & taking a seat toward the edge of his mother's side of the bed . " thank you so much for helping me out around the house this weekend , ko . you know your momma loves it when you come home to see her . "
koshiro smiles for a moment , but doesn't verbally respond . his gaze slowly drifts off toward the window , a hand brushing blond hair behind his ear as he feels the nervous energy in his chest build up . his habits could ever go unnoticed by someone as perceptive as his mother , though . the tall woman's expression immediately falls into concern , abandoning her place in her closet & approaching her son . " what's wrong ? you look like you've got something on your mind , " she comments , nearly reading him like a book .
❝ ..... ❞ he has a hard time finding the words at start , & his mother senses that . she sits beside him on the bed , a hand reaching out to shift platinum blond hair away from koshiro's eyes before resting her palm against his cheek . she was a spitfire compared to her son , but she also had a lot of patience , especially knowing how soft-spoken koshiro tended to be . she'd wait there until he was ready to speak . when he does , his voice is already starting to come out shaken . ❝ can i talk to you about something ? ❞
she giggles , brushing her thumb against koshiro's cheek . " you can always talk to your mother about anything . you know that , don't you ? "
he should know that .
❝ it's.... about my step-father . ❞
that seemed to catch his mother off-guard . throughout the time she'd been married to her current husband , she did notice that koshiro never seemed to be close with him . however , they always got along . she just assumed that even though that man told her he viewed koshiro like his own son , & koshiro had expressed in the past that he liked having him around - she didn't think there was any problems . she couldn't expect her son to be as close to that man as he could have been his own father , after all , he spent the first 8 years of his life without one . but from what she understood , they were still a happy family . " what about him ? "
koshiro couldn't suppress the deep breath he needed to take , unintentionally going silent again as he fidgets his shoulders . the palm on his cheek moved to his shoulder , giving it a concerned squeeze . now , his mother was worried . the way koshiro's expression twisted in on itself , the way he couldn't seem to settle . she knew something was wrong . " koshiro ? what's going on ? " she murmurs softly .
he never got any of the words out . instead , he just shook his head , & the tears started to flow . now , his mother started to feel a bit of panic herself , immediately taking her son into her arms as he quietly sobbed against her shoulder . " koshiro.... " she whispers , stroking a hand against his hair . " koshiro , please , you have to talk to me . what about your step-father ? " though , this wasn't looking good for her current husband . when her son mentions him , then immediately falls into tears - she knows there's information she's missing . something isn't right , & she's quite nervous that she doesn't know what it is .
her embrace tightens for a mere second before she pulls back , cradling koshiro's face in both hands & brushing her thumbs against the tears that stained his cheek . she looks koshiro directly into matching eyes , the worry on her expression intense . " koshiro , what did he do to you ? " she spoke slowly , every word falling off her tongue sternly but her gaze still comforting , letting him know that she will believe any word that comes from him .
koshiro puts one hand on top of his mother's , sniffling as he takes in another breath & finds his voice . he can't go back now - he can't go back to their happy little life where his mom was deeply in love with someone that made her happy , & koshiro could pretend nothing ever happened for her sake . ❝ he.... when you were still a secretary for that realty company.... & you were late one night , ❞ he starts , unable to maintain eye contact & taking multiple pauses to catch his breath between words .
that was so long ago , she thinks . koshiro was around 7 or 8 years old when she worked there . but instead of commenting , she lets him continue at his own pace . ❝ he got really drunk - ❞ the stress on the word ' really ' was strong , leaving his mother's brows to knit tightly . he told her he didn't drink was her next thought - again , a thought kept to herself in order to hear the rest of the story .
he swallows hard . ❝ i t-tried to talk to him , & he just.... ❞ koshiro's composure was starting to falter , the tears falling quicker & body trembling at the memory . he felt sick , he doesn't want to continue - but his mother needed to know everything . she needed to know the worst part of the story . her warm hands rubbed at his neck & shoulders , shaking her head as a silent way of telling him to take his time .
koshiro's voice grew more panicked , sobbing a bit louder . ❝ he took everything off , mom . i just - ❞ his story ended there as he divulged into sobs against his mother's shoulder . tears started forming in her eyes , too - because he didn't need to finish that story for her to put the pieces together . her embrace around her son is tight & protective , apologetic even .
" oh my god , koshiro , " she sobbed right back . " koshiro , i'm sorry , i'm so sorry - " she whispers into his hair . in that moment , she felt like the scum of the earth . the worst mother on the planet . she preached for years about doing everything she could for her son , & something like that happened right before her eyes , kept a secret for nearly 15 years . & she never knew . she never suspected anything . what kind of mother can't tell that something so awful happened to her own child . from someone she thought loved him like their own . that man .
" that motherfucker , " she seethed , catching koshiro off-guard , who can't remember if he's ever even heard his mother cuss . " koshiro , i'm so sorry you thought you had to keep this from me . baby , please look at me , " she begs , placing those same comforting hands to either side of his face & pressing her lips to his forehead before their gazes met . " i should have been better , " his mother claims . koshiro merely shakes his head , because he knows how bad he is with telling people things .
the woman wants to ask him why he kept this from her for so long , wants to ask why he felt like he couldn't tell her - but she doesn't want to ask him now . she doesn't want to seem like she's blaming him for anything , because she knows not a damn thing was koshiro's fault . if anything , she had blame to take responsibility for , she was the one who brought that man into their lives & he got away with murder . it hurt , feeling betrayed by a man she thought she loved . who she thought loved her son . but her own tears are fueled by her anger for that man .
" koshiro , tomorrow morning , throw all of your things back into your bag . we're gonna take the train to chiba & visit your grandparents for a bit . "
koshiro leans back from his mother's embrace , his tear-stained expression confused . because from what he understood , he was going to go back to campus tomorrow afternoon . ❝ wait.... why ? ❞ he asks , his voice still unsteady .
" i'm leaving your step-father , " she declares harshly , expression bitter at the thought of that man entering their home again . she wants to burn his belongings , kick him out & tell him to never come back . file for divorce right that second . but it would be more complicated than that , & she wanted to be able to keep her son safe . this wasn't information she could simply hear & let her son wander back to university as if everything was okay . she wants to help him in the way she wishes she could have years ago . " honey , i'm so sorry to ask this.... can you drop the rest of this semester & comeback home for a bit ? just a semester . just one semester , & you can go back next fall . please.... stay with your mother . " every word divulged into a desperate whisper , desperate to make things right , desperate to fix as much as she could . to do everything she could for her son .
all of this was happening so fast , a part of him regrets every bringing up the situation with his mother . he feels like he broke their marriage , like he was the one who messed everything up . but when he looks into his mother's eyes , that flowed with tears of their own , she smiled at him . & he realizes that she still looks the same way she did when he was a little kid . koshiro nods . ❝ okay . ❞
he'll text his friends in the morning & tell them not to wait for him at the train station .

Well, I actually made some of my MC x Noah HC because they are s o u l m a t e s and this is the post buuuuut some Noah hc I have are:
- As I mentioned in my other HC list, Noah is insomniac. He is always staying late and avoids sleeping because almost everytime he falls asleep he has nightmares thus he is always anxious when sleeping. Since he began dating MC in this magical AU the nightmares have been more manageable
- Can I reiterate on the fact that he has a beanie collection?? Like, I am talking all colors and sizes, homeboy’s only fashion statement is his beanie and we stan.
- He is terrible at using social media. MC and Stacey had to b e g him to create an Instagram account. To this day he still does not understand why people add hashtags to posts
- His favorite bands are Green Day, Simple Plan, Set it Off and Rex Orange County (see as I self insert myself in Noah LMAOO)

- He is actually a pretty decent singer! The one or two times MC catches him whispering some song she makes a huge deal out of it and asks him to sign autographs for her so when he becomes famous she can sell them, causing him to dramatically roll his eyes and blush while looking away.
- Even though he is a good singer, Noah haaaates dancing and he sucks at it. As I mention in the other HC list, he always ends up tumbling over with his own feet and avoids dance floors like the plague, only slightly softening for MC
- He refuses to buy AirPods even tho all the others have them. His most significant character trait is using wired headphones and owning it
- He has MC saved as “Dumbass 🖤”
- The crew has a group chat in which Noah has tried exiting, multiple times, only to be added once again and everyone going in his case for him to stop being emo asdfghjk

- I mention this in almost all my Noah posts but his love for family is one of the things I like the most about him. How much he grasps into that hope his sister is alive and how much he suffers for it, even willing to sacrifice his soulmate friend for that, which okay, was wrong, but he did it with all the good intentions in the bottom of his heart.
- His humor definitely. asdfghj cynical and dark humor is very uwuwuwuwuwu attractive to me and my dankness so yeeee
- His passion for culinary school is soooo asdfghjk of his part. I personally have absolutely no idea how to boil water, so in the first place I admire anyone who knows how to cook, and just how much it means to him. Culinary school is his dream and he has abandoned it, but in every scene you speak that he brings it up, you can see how happy it makes him and asdfghjk bby boiiii

So I answered an ask from my homegirl Kato a while back answering and analyzing if Noah and I would actually work out in real life and I think in a way, the same answer can answer this question.
We would break up because in some way, we are too similar. In the sense that we are both pretty introverted, kept to ourselves, a bit of bad humor and that would lead us to clash in our own ways. Thats why I believe he needs someone like I HC my MC to be. She is outgoing, helping him get out of his shell, get out and explore, she is like the light and they balance each other out. If I were to date Noah we would just both fall into one side of the balance xDD
That being said I still loVE ma BaBY BOOOiiii nOahhhh but I think he would make a much much muuuuuch better couple with someone like MC :33 as I said, they are soulmatessss 🤧

Ahajkdkss with animal crossing it's really what happens! Sometimes I see posts about people's island, and I'm like, mine is so shitty ? So I end up to rebuilt everything again 😆 I saw Uncharted 4 trending on twitter the other day and I thought about you, that's Anto's game!!! And yes every screenshots of that game really are beautiful 👀
ABSOLUTELY they can't die if the chapter doesn't exist right? It's like UA fanarts were the characters are still alive, I totally rather prefer these UA instead of the storyline, because dealing with pain is hard 😔 And the last chapter........... It was the true meaning of PAIN - Chifuyu is totally cracking up because all of this mess, saying horrible things that he doesn't even think!! I think Takemichi has big chance to pair up with Inupi now, because they'd save Mikey and Koko ? I'm very sad because the duo Takemichi and Chifuyu is probably over now 😭 But I want to see Koko and Inupi interact for soon 😏
I finished the both seasons in only three days straight in a row and I crieeed I cried a lot! Their last performance Tenkyuu, was INCREDIBLE !!! The story is so beautiful, and when Satowa met her mother at the end of their performance ahhhhhhh I'm so emotional, all backstories are so good!!! I understand why you love this manga a lot, and all your feelings about it! I haven't see Momoya yet because I still haven't read the manga, but I'm very curious to understand why you love him a lot!!! I was so confused because I first thought that Chika was your most favorited, basically I thought Chika and Momoya were the same person until I check your fav page 😂😂 Maybe there is a reason of why they're so alike to me, maybe not and it's just me, but I'm very impatient to know more about both!!!

Like you can’t help but sympathize with him so when he whispers “I can’t” afterwards it’s sort of sad & heartbreaking
FINALE
“She was a dream”
“A beautiful dream” symbolises that for so long no one knew what happened and then we found out she really did die- so her survival and Anastasia herself were really part of this beautiful dream.
“Still…” Symbolises those who still had hope she lived.

Some Spider-Man:Homecoming Awesome Moments/thoughts, behind a cut bc spoilers, and also long:
I basically squee’d through the entire beginning, after the like Damage Control/Toomes part. From the whole orchestrated version of the Spider-Man cartoon theme during the Marvel sequence (which honestly was way too frickin long, but the music was a good touch), to the vlogging part, like it was just. So Good. (my Spider-Man friend liked the vlogging, too, said it was a very Peter Parker thing)
Adrian Toomes literally has the stupidest reason for hating Tony Stark, and also tbh, supes awk I’ve been salty/on guard so long from the anti’s, it wasn’t obvious to me at all that Toomes was Evil All Along, I lowkey read it as “and this is when I decided to become Evil” moment with him staring with hate at Tony. Apparently, according to my friend I went with, who is more of a Spider-’verse guy, it was p obvious to him *like a cross between shrug emoji and :’)* (I think it was the fact that, like, Tony’s face took up half that screen that had me on guard? It says *US* Department etc, joint venture, etc, but like isn’t Pepper still CEO of Stark Industries? I mean idk I guess I’m kind of annoyed the anti’s have me so on guard that I looked at that and was like “great it’s set up to blame Tony personally for stuff that is again NOT his personal sole total fault”)
Re: the vlogging. oH MAN, THE TIMES NEW ROMAN 12 PT FONT DOUBLE SPACED CARD!!!! I’D ACTUALLY FORGOTTEN ABOUT THIS, HOW LONG AGO WAS THAT FROM?? Was that CW? It seems like it’s been ages

the little notes are super cute. "why did I tell him about the churro” super cute. Him accidentally messing up and webbing a guy who was breaking into his own car: also super cute actually, and good flavor, too. All of it set the stage really well for him as an actually “Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” like he’s basically running errands, but also he’s not omniscient so sometimes things are not what they seem

I can’t believe Zero Moustafa was in this movie, I didn’t even recognize him also I highkey was not expecting him
honestly all of the whole “changes in your body” stuff to Peter were also funny and added great flavor to the movie. It’s a bit out there and ridiculous but it’s from Peter’s PoV and was very appropriate for that :D

I highkey appreciate that Peter is the “I can just be myself” kind of person, this lets Ned be the “nobody wants that” ironic humor but also highkey relatable guy/line person. This was a good way of setting up those dyad of lines bc it centers self-confidence FIRST, and then the self-deprecating humor
running across the golf course was Excellent, him flailing so badly in suburbia was also good flavor and also hashtag same

that whole sequence of Toomes in the car on their way to homecoming was cinematically brilliant?? The way the light of the traffic lights shone and the symbolism with it, I like had a moment of like, “Oh my god, this is actually a really well-crafted movie??” (like tbh my salty ass lowkey can’t believe *Marvel* churned it out)
(this whole middle section I stopped taking notes and was just watching bc the next notes I have are on Tony losing control of the screwing the pooch metaphor lmao. but a couple points:)

the invisible jet. them playing up the danger of the turbines was really suspenseful, but also very nice because it demonstrates genre-savvy. also, that part where you see Spidey on the top of the jet camo panels bc he’s on the bottom :D :D
seeing Peter save Toomes made me a bit sad bc I was remembering the post Nat wrote about the parallels we COULD have had, i.e. from IM1, IM3, that were ultimately cut :(
Tony’s whole extending the metaphor on screwing the pooch and absolutely losing control of it with the whole free clinic and hybrid puppies line lmao.
“he made a really mature decision. surprised the heck out of us” :D :D these two are so frickin out of their depth with any kid, let alone Peter. Thank heck Peter’s the voice of reason here. (again, good flavor, cute characterization points, gr8 all around)
the whole post credit scene and the metatexual poking fun at the audience for waiting for something for forever that doesn’t seem like it’s worth it lmaooo. (actually when I’d first glanced at a gifset on Tumblr, I’d thought he was referring to waiting for Peggy since TFA ended on that note, so I thought it was referring back to that)
re: like the treatment of the high school setting, it seemed a biiiit...stereotypical to me, but I think ultimately it was a good mix of current with nostalgic for the maybe older crowd who’d watched three iterations of Spider-Man in so many years, I think. Like, the whole “You’re bullied because you’re a nerd” and the whole “very clear defined cliques” thing is so....Mean Girls era, and that kind of was the touch of nostalgia. But also they did kind of set it up where Peter and Ned weren’t necessarily bullied by EVERYONE *for* being nerds, because Flash was also in Decathalon, and more because Flash was a jerk, which I think was a good updated social mores touch. Also, I liked that the “comeuppance” scene with Peter commandeering Flash’s (dad’s) car wasn’t all vindictive, it was fueled by genuine need, and he didn’t go out of his way to destroy the car, he just literally had never actually driven on roads before :DD
so kind of in conclusion: SM:H really is All That and More, it was so good and I want to watch it again a million times
