i mean. if i really have to pick just one then it's gotta be that i cannot understand people who ship them in a way that has bodily separation as an end-goal. like. first of all if you aren't here for the gay possession why are you listening to the gay possession show. secondly they are a system and that's good and interesting. they shouldn't have to be separate for you to see them as whole, functioning people. thirdly, and this is more corollary than directly to do with their separation, if i have to see one more person give arthur his sight back after they separate i'm gonna start biting

in particular i do think it'd be good for both the ship and the story if someone other than arthur knew about john and talked to him and allowed him to have relationships. i mean we can still have the codependency and the jealousy as a treat but. also john needs friends so he's not entirely defined by arthur, and i think it'd be interesting to see how he learns to communicate with people who can't hear him

also just fucking once i would like to see arthur concede to john about something important rather than the story constantly treating john like he's hysterical and needs to grow up whenever he has an issue with what arthur does or says

I just have one question for you (though it might be a bit long for you to answer, so I apologize in advance 😅): could you please analyze the names of all my babies the Lower Moons (+ Kyōgai)? I tried doing that myself to potentially find out more about their powers or what the origin of their namesake is, but since I'm still a beginner in Japanese and I don't have/know of that many resources yet, I felt like asking you would be the best option.

We don't know anything about the Lower Moons that Muzan himself killed, except for their appearance, their names, and their order in the Lower ranks, but despite this I grew attached to them (especially Mukago 💝) and would like to be able to bring more love and attention to them in the fandom. Because everyone always talks about the Upper Moons and they forget about my poor children in the Lower ranks 💔

I feel like Muzan would follow that old meme and be like, “I love all my Lower Moons,” and check the handwritten notes in his palm and just be like, “…Rui.”

But let’s do it! Let’s give each of these Lower Moons, as well as some honorable mentions (we love you, Kyougaaaaiiii) some love and dive into their names! Yahaba: 矢琶羽 Dart-Lute-Feathers, I love how catchy this name is (with 矢 clearly being the operative “arrow” meaning, though I wonder if Nakime dislikes him edging in on her lute thing). It often goes forgotten that Yahaba had tastes for staying clean and tidy, which goes to show that the demons were all possessed of their own complex personalities and had richly detailed lives of their own before those demon hunters came in and chopped their heads off. Like how he and Susamaru chatted and became friends while on the way to finding the boy with the Hanafuda earrings? That’s adorable. Also, in Kimetsu Academy, he famous runs a tofu shop and I love tofu so I hope his family’s business is going well. It’s so innocuous and I feel like the innocuous sides of Yahaba should be appreciated.

Susamaru:  朱紗丸 Vermilion-Gauze-Round/Ball, another catchy and wonderful collection of good name kanji.  The color reference starts her off with name full of vitality without crossing quite into the glowing reds associated with Red Blades. That 紗 is one that does get used in real life as a gentle complement to rest of the name when parents are looking for a ‘sa’ sound with an auspicious number of strokes to write it (though it’s the stroke order of the entire name typically taken into account), but concluding a name with 丸has distinctly old-timey masculine feel to it. As she presents very feminine, even on the hot edge of Taisho fashion, I love the juxtaposition. That said, in Kimetsu Academy, Susa become her very refreshing sounding last name while 丸 becomes a very cute, feminine personal name when left on its own. It’s also cute because it's the part of her name that has the most personal significance for her, as when she was a human, her father bought a toy ball for her and it remained important to her when she was a demon.

Kyougai: 響凱 Sound/Reverberation-Victory Song. A name that big goes to show how high Muzan’s hopes were for you, Kyougai! And seeing as he was inspired by the epic “Satomi Hakken-den,” Kyougai wanted to write a story that was just as big, with expansive world-building and deep allegory. That being said, Kyougai was totally more of a sensitive Hans Christian Andersen at heart, huh? Being so absorbed in his idealistic dreams for his literature, Kyougai even used a literary personal pronoun often reserved for written form (Literature, gotta be one of my favorite genders), and with his perpetual pouty-face, I can totally see him laying face down in a more successful demon’s yard to cry about how Muzan only likes him for his drum skills instead of his writing skills. (That demon was probably Nakime, and she was probably just as peeved as Charles Dickens.) Kyougai is so sensitive and deep in his literary fantasies that he was ultimately defeated by how moved he was by the literary symbolism of Tanjirou avoiding stepping on his written works, a kind demon slayer who takes heads because he must but will not trample on a demon’s heart. Also, might I say how sad it is that he’s the music teacher in Kimetsu Academy, probably because he still can’t make it as an author!? Kyoooouggaaaaaiiiii!!

Nakime: 鳴女 Sound (anything from an echo to birds chirping to a ringing noise to a honk)-Woman, doesn’t seem very creative on the surface because clearly she is a woman who works with sound (and is clearly more talented at it that Kyougai, get wrecked, is what she’d probably say to him if she bothered saying any more than necessary to the other demons). Muzan might had thought he was clever for this one, though, because ‘me’ is also the same sound as ‘eye’ (目). Maybe he even called her that at first, until she gave him stone-silent response, so instead of being embarrassed for being overly basic he chose to say it was written with the character 女 instead, because duh, she’s a woman. The name had nothing to do with her face. EDIT: HOLD IT, WAIT UP. @lalunaticscribe rightly pointed out that this was the name a pheasant in Shinto mythology, which totally forgot about. Although it can be writing in different ways for "crying out woman," this was a messenger sent by the heavens to Amewakahiko, who was supposed to be doing the heavens' bidding but had put them on read, essentially. The pheasant was supposed to check up on him, and he literally shot the messenger with an arrow. The arrow went all the way to the heavens, the heavens were alarmed, but still wanted to give Amewakahiko the benefit of the doubt, so they threw it back saying, "well, if he's guilty, it'll strike him, if not, it'll miss" and it struck him and he died.

Hairou: 佩狼 Wear (a sword)-Wolf. Muzan must had known he was a Shinsengumi, as they were called the ‘Wolves of Mibu’ (an area of Kyoto they policed). Hairou had a complicated relationship with swords and how ultimately they lost out to more powerful guns, which he relies on after that. He can’t totally forget his affection for swords, though, as the Taisho Secrets Hirano-sensei wrote into the Rengoku Gaiden state that he collects things like handguards from defeated enemies’ swords. Tokens of his victories, nothing more!! He doesn’t admire swords, okay, he’s fine with guns!! Gunpowder is way more effective that silly swords! Nevermind that his name still implies he’d wear one!

Kamanue: 釜鵺 Iron Pot/Kettle-Nue (a Chimera sort of ghastly beast). Given that name, fresh new Lower-Moon-Six might have had the most interesting potential for a stand-off with Kamado Tanjirou, as the hearth (kamado 竈) and iron pot/kettle heated over it (kama 釜) are closely associated. Perhaps he could had been yet another character foil to Tanjirou, another former humans with family ties to working with fire and heat? If he had those orange streaks at the ends of his hair as a human, could he also had been a Kakushaku-no-Ko, but not auspicious ever happened to him and he was forced to take the path of a demon? What’s even more interesting is the ‘Nue’ part of his name, as these were fantastical creatures who plagued the nobles of Kyoto, cursing them with illness by their presence and requiring Heian era demons slayers to go hunt them down. It’s classic and I would had loved to see how that might play into Blood Technique. Was he a shape-shifter, perhaps?

Rui: 累 Continuity/Involvement. This was a name given to him by his parents, who probably wished to keep a healthy baby boy involved in their lives for a very long time. Ouch.

Mukago: 零余子 Nothing-Surplus-Child. Mukago really does leave the most impact for her character design, doesn’t she? It’s the classy symmetrical horns that do it for me, but it’s the feather/fur boa that totally seals the deal. As Muzan called her out for always avoiding strong demon hunters, I get the sense she could be pretty wily with who she choose to target or how she chose to slip away. As for this name, though, the jarring juxtaposition makes me think she’d have had very strange and unusual Blood Techniques, perhaps flirting with the divide between ‘existence’ and ‘non-existence.’ I have no idea how that would work, and her victims probably all regretting finding out.

Wakuraba: 病葉 Sick-Leaves. This one makes me curious, as Muzan probably didn’t like associations with illness. However, taken as a whole, perhaps it was in reference to blight. Were his abilities something that could spread and kill a large number of people in a given area, or did his Blood Technique spread through trees to slowly poison people through the water or attack directly with poison leaves and an evil root system throughout the forest (I wrote that into a fanfic, haaa)? He’s got a pretty unassuming appearance, wearing a kimono pattern used a few times throughout the manga, and only one simple scarf for accessory, but the scars on his face keep him from being able to blend into a crowd. How’d you get those scars, man? What is your story? Did they remain from your human life, something that no amount of demon regeneration can ever erase from you?

Rokuro: 轆轤 Potter’s Wheel/Pulley. Now this is an assuming character design. That’s totally a craftsman’s attire for working in his studio, crouched over a spinning pottery wheel all day. What was your Blood Technique, sir? Did it astound victims for how they never would have suspected you of anything, much less noticed you? Is it like a spinning mechanism, full of potential for a truly horrendous death, or do you trap victims under giant interdimensional tea cups? Does Gyokko hate you for this and want you to stop stealing his shtick? Also, the facial hair makes me think he was a Meiji era human, as it was back in style then. That would make him not a terribly old demon, at his oldest, a bit younger than Hairou (whom he replaced as Lower Moon Two) and the Hand Demon.

Enmu: 魘夢 (To have a) Nightmare-Dream. Muzan wasn’t feeling very creative that night but it does have a nice ring to it. Had he been promoted to an Upper Moon role like he hoped, maybe a name change would had been in order, like “The Enmu Express.”

Oh you have to ask the hard questions! Ok, let me see...in order for Star Wars:

Empire Strikes Back -- it is just such a good movie with some iconic Luke looks and Daddy-Son moments. It's so good and him with grandpa-Yoda is so cute. I also love how we see this lead up into Luke's change of perspective with everything.

Return of the Jedi -- Also great Luke and Daddy-Son moments. I think it barely inches over New Hope simply because I got to see it again on the 40th re-release in theaters and I was feral over how Luke looked. Also, loved the fighting scenes and we get Lando. I also happen to love the Ewoks.

New Hope -- May actually be in second place once RoJ-theater release gives me peace (need another few months). But this Luke is just so pure and whiny and I want to put him in my pocket forever and ever and ever. (let me throw this Luke at Din omg)

Revenge of the Sith -- UGH just UGH so god. Anakin is so hot in this and so messed up and this lead up is just fantastic and wonderful and absolutely tragic.

Rogue One -- I mean, how could I not adore this? It is absolutely AMAZING. Just heartbreaking with amazing graphics, awesome characters, and is only getting better thanks to the Andor series.

The Force Awakens -- Honestly, I adored this movie so much. It wasn't perfect, it needed more Luke and the original trio, but it had so much potential. I just thought it was leading up to something amazing and the memes Mark gave us after left me excited and laughing for a long time.

The Phantom Menace -- Part of this is spite-love for young Anakin and Jar Jar Binks; both deserve better. But honestly, I have rewatched this a few times recently and was all "this is actually great? why the hate?"

Attack of the Clones -- Honestly, I need to rewatch this again. It's just here cause I haven't rewatched it in a while and i don't know why. We get Jango! We get the Clones! Baby Boba! The SAND-QUOTE! Obi-Wan's mullet! The lead up to the Clone War series! Badass Yoda! Yeah, gotta do a re-watch.

Solo -- Again, i actually really enjoyed the movie. It wasn't the best but it wasn't bad. Honestly, there were just some weird choices for some story movements and character interactions but other than that? It was good. I need to rewatch it honestly.

The Last Jedi -- I hate, hate, hate what they did to my Luke. If they were going to go this route with him I'd understand 100% because it would make sense for him to to have so much PTSD and just be burnt out and so hurt (still, i think we have enough of this and deserve older heroes that are still full of hope and silly and are kind). But the execution and how he is made to be a loser is just wrong. There were also some other scenes and interactions that were "uh...no?" but the fight scenes were great, Po was great, I loved Rose, I loved Finn's story and realization. It was just really wonky, disjointed from what we were getting before, and I will keep my head-cannon Luke in my claws.

The Rise of Skywalker -- I...didn't like it. I saw it twice and actually checked the time till I could go home often (only have done that with like two other movies). It was so awkward, the dialogue was poor, the actors seemed done, there was so many random new stories thrown in at last second, characters were thrown away, "Palpatine somehow returned?" like...what??? It was just lame. Such a lame, lame ending. The OT-trio and the new trio deserved so much better. It needs a re-do.

Now for the Lord of the Rings!:

The Fellowship of the Ring -- Even though it wasn't the most action packed, what it sparked, how good it was...just AUGH perfection. I adore this movie so much.

The Two Towers -- Incredible, amazing, also perfect. Great action, all the characters are given their due-time (with Legolas making faces). I love it.

Return of the King -- AMAZING ENDING. The wraps up is just...the moments of suffering and the release. The HAPPINESS. How ever gets what they deserve (tho RIP Boromir) just adore it so much.

The Desolation of Smaug -- PERFECT. Except for maybe some off CGI, this movie was amazing. So much Bagginshield, the intense cliffhanger, the Arkenstone....it was so good. I adored this movie so much!

An Unexpected Journey -- I adore Bilbo. I love him so much. And how this opened up Bagginshield just how could I not adore it??

Battle of the Five Armies -- I didn't like it the first time I watched it. But a few more times I was "huh, actually, it's not bad!" It honestly should've been loads better. There were so many wonky decisions and everything that happened did not feel like it met up with the end of a trilogy. But the end....how everyone survived! Can you believe that there was absolutely NO HEARTBREAK WHAT'SO'EVER??

anyway Gideon specifically: This man is trying to be a Knight In Shining Armour, in a world and a job where he really can't be, and part of that is trying to be an Idealised Romantic Hero for Darius. His go-to romantic gesture is hand kissing (Darius starts wearing his gloves after Gideon dies), he wears a little purple sash from Darius hidden under his armor as a romantic favor. He doesn't tell Darius when he's dealing with abuse and trauma because he has to be Strong and deal with it himself!!

I think on the whole they had a good relationship--they made each other happy and encouraged each other towards character growth! But also, while the whole Hunter Misunderstanding was hardly Gideon's fault, Darius would have been less likely to doubt him if he'd been open before! And to some extent, Darius fell for the Idealised Hero front Gideon put up, and after his death crashed hard into disillusionment and analysing every little problem they had.

And also? while it may not be obvious in Broken Masks and Bones because I'm writing from Belos' pov: Gideon died for Darius. Yes, he was rebelling, yes he's happy he gets to give his Reason You Suck speech, but at the heart of it, everything he says there is to deflect Belos' anger and suspicion away from Darius.

I just... one day I've gotta write a fic from Gideon's pov, instead of Belos and Darius and Odalia being Wrong about him. He's been expecting Belos to kill him for years and, well, what's a more Romantic Hero way to go than protecting the man you love? Fucking doomed by the narrative guy.

1. What made you want to draw this scene?

The whole Pyre of Denethor is a very tense and serious scene, and while I love a good tasty bit of drama, ya gotta lighten the mood eventually X-P

I wanted to draw every heroic Beregond moment in this scene, which means I wanted to draw the part where he steps between an unconscious Faramir and Denethor with a knife—and because of the way my brain works, the “Stabby” meme immediately presented itself. And I thought, oh. Oh there’s no way I’m not doing that 🤣

In his attempts to deescalate the situation, he goes for a therapy route/distraction—“let’s talk about how you feel”—with his internal monologue being “please work please work I dunno what I’m doing but please work”.

Denethor says “stabby”. The only thing going through his mind is “stabby”. There’s a beat where Beregond is like “Oh. Oh dear. This is worse than I thought.” Slowly, as he tries to work with the answer but also keep Denethor calm, he does the whole “stabbing…isn’t an emotion, it’s more of an activity.”

Denethor is now annoyed with this nuisance who’s getting in the way of him killing his son. His own patience has run out. “Well maybe I feel STABBY.” Beregond, meanwhile, goes from gentle and benevolent worry for both Denethor’s state of mind and Faramir’s health to full-on alarm bells and “NOPE YOU ARE NOT KILLING THIS YOUNG MAN TODAY NO SIR”

Funnily enough, as I was drawing the final panel, my mind was coming up with jokes—as it does while I draw—and one of them was “THAT’S IT YOU HAVE REVOKED YOUR DAD RIGHTS THIS IS MY SON NOW”. So take that as you will. 🤣

------Three Facts!

1- I grew up on horror movies and metal musik. Although my library is also full of different genres, metal music and synthwave (tho I'm fussy) are my favourites. 80's music is still some of the best music to this date imo. Watching slashers and thrillers are sort of comfort films to me, in a sense, which might seem odd to some people. But growing up in the 90's as a kid that liked these things, I was very outcasted. Writing Megatron and getting inside his head was a big outlet for me, and he's definitely a comfort character because of all the stuff he's endured. The post-war series I began writing started over 10 years ago. Back then, it was a personal journey for me just as much as it was for him. And now, over 10 years later, I'm rewriting the whole series (or... most of it lol), and looking back has been another wonderful journey, and also the reason I got back into the TF community!

2- I work in healthcare. I've worked in hospitals, clinics and Drs offices. I take legitimately any sample that can be produced by the human body from any part of the human body--yep... I mean any part (swabs, bloods, urines, faeces, histo, semen--ANYTHING), I also do heart checks and BP's, and covid, which let me tell you... working in healthcare during a pandemic is likely one of the hardest things I've ever done. I'm still burnt out and many of us are, so please give your healthcare workers some slack. <3 I've almost finished my studies for training and assessing, so I'm hoping to become a mentor or a teacher/trainer in my field :)

3- I was diagnosed late in life with Autism (severe Aspergers). Although I'd already diagnosed myself (lol, I'm obsessed with psychology and had also diagnosed my sister with BPD when I was like 16 which turned out to be legit), having that professional diagnosis meant a lot for me when it came to understanding myself and my behaviours, especially in my adolescence. It can mean at times that I am very overwhelmed and SLOW here (I'm also still studying, working, learning German and piano, plus I have other hobbies and blogs). Please don't take it personally if I don't always reply in IMs, especially due to time zones, but sometimes I'm just legitimately exhausted mentally and physically. My work is extremely demanding and busy and renders me fatigued. I also have other health stuff going on which renders me tired on a daily basis (:

Fluff: I adore fluff. But with Megatron, it's got to be a long standing relationship. He's not known for breaking down his walls and being comfortable exposing himself. It's going to take a lot of time and patience.

Angst: Look, I am a SUCKER for angst okay. Megatron is OOZING it anyway lol. But yes, angst!

Smut: I've been writing smut for over a decade, I'm very comfortable with it, and I love writing it. But I'm also PICKY with it, because the muses need to have chemistry, and if there's none, then it's not going to happen. Megatron is likely to sleep with MANY people, but there's also gotta be chemistry between the mods as well, because this is something that I do take pretty seriously when involving someone else. Just because I'm hella ace doesn't mean the muse is lol, and if there's chemistry, then heck yeah. I'm pretty open minded.

You sound like a smart person in your post so I gotta ask ... you honestly believe Robin and Nancy is something that could potentially happen on the show? Somewhere in the same ballpark of likelihood as the literal canon ship Byler? And that it would if the writers were trustworthy and good?

Have you lost your mind about Natalia joking around in interviews? There is a love interest for Robin and two for Nancy. There was absolutely nothing implied between Nancy and Robin. Getting them suddenly together would objectively be shit writing. Read fanfic as much as you want but be serious right now. And don't compare that to Byler, it's insulting.

This is so backhanded haha, my smile just dropped after the first line whoops. First of all, thanks for saying I sound like a smart person, I appreciate it. Secondly, I don't think Ronance is genuinely going to become canon, but I think it could and should. It makes sense for the characters and even if they didn't mean to, a lot of Robin and Nancy's interactions can be read as romantic. Especially because Robin is more nervous and awkward around girls she likes and then immediately is nervous and awkward around Nancy. Not to mention the hand holding and the way they look at each other. I really don't think it's objectively shit writing for them to get together, especially because the actors are on board. But I also don't think it's bad writing for it to not happen, I just think it would be cool.

Someone who's better with tone than me can correct me, but I didn't feel like Natalia was joking around. She said that she likes Nancy having a girlfriend and that they (Maya, Charlie, Joe and her) have a group chat where they share Ronance memes which doesn't sound like she was just joking around to me. But I agree that they're really pushing Robin and Vickie and the whole Nancy love triangle, so it's probably not going to happen. I literally said I don't have faith in the writers to commit to Ronance in the post and that I'll still ship them no matter what's in the show. So telling me it's not gonna happen doesn't really change anything.

And I don't think it's insulting to comparing how I feel about Ronance to how I feel about Byler? I think that Byler could and should happen and would make sense but I'm not sure if the writers will commit and that my approach to it is disappointed but not surprised. As in I think it's a missed opportunity but I'm not gonna be shocked it that's the case. Which is exactly how I feel about Ronance as well. Plus that I'll keep on shipping it even it's it not canon, because that's genuinely how I feel about both ships. I know there's more proof for canon Byler and I never said that it was just as likely as Ronance, only that I feel the same way about the ship. I definitely think Byler is more pushed than Ronance in terms of marketing and in conventions though.

Maybe I worded it poorly in the post and I'll definitely go back and edit the original post to avoid confusion, but that's my thoughts on the subject. Considering you're a Byler shipper, maybe you'd empathize on not sending people asks saying that the ship they like can't happen? Like will it happen? Probably not. But I also don't really care. I know they have love interests, but Mike also has a love interest and I'm not saying that Byler isn't going to happen because of that. There are tons of people who say Byler would be poor writing too, but that's not stopping me from wanting it to happen.

REVIEW

I LOOOVED this episode. I thought it was great! A dip back into the old commentary, some angst but also a bunch of laughs lol, and my lovelies being family :DD. Plus we got Joshhhh, always love to see my boy :D. And overall just some really cool calls and such!

First off, congrats(-ish? lol) to Buuuck, it finally happened lol xD :D. Took a while but we got here xD. Anyway, I'm happy for his friends :)). And I'm glad that he finally got some (good) sleep lol, after he started being unable to as well XD. Hilarious, love my boy lol <3.

Eddie! Not much to say for him, though that scene with Bobby after the fire was really great. But we DIDN'T GET THE SHOT XDDD. The cross shot from the promos!! Rude lol. Anyway, him playing video games was great, and I'm glad he finally got some sleep xD.

Poor Josh this episode xDD. I was wondering why they were looking shifty but I couldn't think of a reason (like thinking he was up to something or had a new relationship or something didn't make sense, them scheming to stop him sleeping or something didn't make sense, although it turns out they were scheming XD). I've gotta admit though it was a hilarious plotline lol, I loved it xD. Plus I just liked seeing my boy :D. Anyway, it was great xD.

Madney!!!! AHHHHH!!! They bought a house :DDDD. I mean sure, it's known as the murder house, but it's not ACTUALLY lol. Plus I'm sure that and eit cheaper :D xD. Idk, it's just nice 🥰🥰❤️. I'm VERY interested in Bobby stopping at nothing to get answers though, it seems like it'll be super intense but I great storyline 👀👀. Not that the intensity is bad! Anyway, as long as it isn't too short or isn't drawn out too long, I think it has real potential :D. Plus, it's always wild (and a privilege lol) to just see Bobby go ham xD. Batcrap, I'll say, since I don't cuss lol. It's gonna be great >:).

Overall, I really loved this episode! I thought it was great, it had a suitably creepy atmosphere, and I thought the insomnia theme was really interesting! It left space open for moments we wouldn't normally see, which I loved :D. And the calls, plus all the family feels, and some angst? Perfect episode, in my opinion /hj <3. It was just great 🥰🥰. Between all the storylines, and the little moments, it was an awesome episode.

So yeah! I enjoyed this episode so much. It had a bunch of great parts, and I don't really have any complaints. I'm excited to see where the stories go next! This has been my review of. . .

best  experience : i don’t want to really put experiences or people above/below each other in how much i appreciate them. best experiences tend to be when either muses, muns, or both really click and we end up building extensive storylines together and our muse dynamics end up mattering a lot! but i gotta honorary mention orion @starfalled who i love dearly, and lured into tumblr rp, and all our late night talks about our muses, especially our castiel & francis (shh i know i play cas on a solo blog and not here) wordlbuilding; and lexi @anderwhohn / @vortexparadox / @immortaljackal / @starkastichotmess who’s become a close friend through tumblr. everyone else i talk ooc with, especially the people to whom i’ve mentioned that i feel comfortable/relaxed around, as that doesn’t... happen often with my level of awkwardness and social struggle. but honestly just everyone with whom i interact ic with is a good experience one way or another!

rp  pet  peeves / deal  breakers :   :: deal breaker: fandom anti/”purity culture” rhetoric/behaviour, harrassing other people, policing what kind of fictional content other people can write/enjoy. :: deal breaker: bigoted behaviour and/or beliefs. :: deal breaker: time limits on reply speed. you’re valid if you need replies within a timeframe! but seeing as i struggle with executive dysfunction, i can’t oblige. :: pet peeve: people assuming i’m not interested in a thread/dynamic if i reply slower than to other things. i don’t engage in interactions i’m not enjoying. it annoys me to no end when people accuse others of lying of their interest or think they know my mind better than i know it myself... again, i have severe executive dysfunction. just because i want to write a thing doesn’t mean i can. just because i can write something doesn’t mean i can write another thing. it’s not an excuse for “i just don’t want to so i’ll say i can’t”. i actually can’t. my nervous system is built differently than yours. it physically makes it hard to initiate action. i don’t like it when people decide they know my limitations better than i know them, neither do i like being accused of lying. i don’t fake interest. i don’t have the energy for that! :: pet peeve: excessively purple prose (poetic prose is neat though!), english isn’t my first language, it’s hard to comprehend. multiple spaced text (double is fine, 3+ and i. start. reading. it. like. this.) autoplay on blogs. red font against dark background is the only thing that makes my eyes hurt.

plots  or  memes : i prefer plotting... even though i struggle to extensively plot prior to writing :P i prefer to plot at least to the extent of tossing around a few ideas ooc. i’m glad to wing it too, though. and as for first interactions i probably actually prefer memes? to get an idea how our muses vibe and how our writing styles vibe. but for long term writing, i prefer to plot at least a little bit. it’s not necessary though! and i know that i suck at it half the time anyway.

long  or  short  replies : entirely depends on the thread. i have a preference for 2-3 paragraphs, but i will do novella, i will do one-liners... i think it should be normalised that during a single thread, the reply length can vary from novella to single para and that’s ok. that’s just a natural flow of narration? if you’re setting scene or backstory it’s heftier! if you’re writing an action sequence it probably should be shorter for that part! fuck matching length.

best  time  to  write : when i feel up to forcing myself. yes, i have to force myself most of the time, and no, that doesn’t mean i don’t want to write. once again, i have severe executive dysfunction. i have to force myself to do things i want to do every day. that is legit just my life. if i didn’t force myself to start something, i’d never do anything fun. me needing to force it doesn’t mean i don’t have fun with it.

are  you  like  your  muse(s) : i can relate to at least some things with most if not all of them, i would think, but no, none of them are like me enough to say that they are... like me? eloise or the doctor are prob the closest but they also are super far from being like me.

✿ BEST EXPERIENCE       I think my best experience was in a multifandom chatroom I frequented with my friends in high school. it was just! crossovers galore, and it somehow just made sense. it was so wild and fun! ah I miss the simplicity of it. there was just. not a care in the world about all the little details back then.

✿ RP PET PEEVES/DEALBREAKERS       posts that go untrimmed kind of annoy me, but I wouldn’t call it a dealbreaker. promoting drama and / or posting a lot of negativity and shitpost-y content to the point where it’s the only thing on my dashboard kind of is, though. o(-( I don’t mind it once in a while, but when it’s the only thing? dsfkhdf none for me, thanks. I also??? hate when people,,,act above other writers,,,,who are only here to ship, like??? man. they’re not hurting you let them (me) write their funny little ships/romance/smut goddamn. why can’t they write things that they like. why do you gotta get so high and mighty about it. ✿ FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT       I enjoy all three in no particular order! it really depends on what I’m in the mood for at any given time. I’m always So Soft for fluff; it’s easily my favorite thing to write. but I’ve been kind of on an angst kick lately, and I won��t lie, I’m always down and in the mood for spice LMAO.

✿ PLOTS OR MEMES       I like a mixture of the two, tbh. memes are such a nice way to break the ice and explore new scenarios and concepts, but when I don’t have a direction or goal for a thread or a dynamic between two characters, I,,,tend to lose inspo Very Fast aaaa;;; 

✿ LONG OR SHORT REPLIES       I much prefer to start short and transition to longer replies if / when the inspiration strikes dkfjhsd a lot of people can set up a scene right out the gate, but I’m the opposite where I gotta start with a vague idea and feel it out / build it as I go DSFHSD IT’S WEIRD I KNOW I’M SORRY.
