I’ve been trying to play trauma centre like a big girl who has basic motor skills. Things started off ominously with my getting a C rank in the tutorial, and every operation since then…. until Mario came swinging through the door and handed my ass to me with his multiple haemorrhages. I worked out that if I just sedated and cut the damn things first they’d stop swelling and wouldn’t explode, but my god it’s still not enough, and THE HECK YOU MEAN I MISSED CONNECTING THEM!? I DRAGGED IT WITH MY STYLUS JUST LIKE YOU SAID?! WHY IS IT JUST ME AND ANGIE IN HERE? WHY DON’T I HAVE A TEAM? I’M A C RANK DOCTOR EVEN WITH THIS HEALING TOUCH! SAVE ME GREG! NONE OF THESE PENTAGRAMS I’M DRAWING LOOK LIKE STARS! THERE’S BLOOD EVERYWHERE!!!
Anyway, as the expert in these games, is the Wii version easier and does it follow the same storyline? Having not even seen the disease that’s the whole plot of the game, I feel like I might be insurmountably bad at this and should try an easier version…
oh, so you're--and i mean this in the friendliest, mist kindly way possible--doing badly? just like me, friend, welcome to the gang! this game will kick your ASS, guaranteed lmao. and yeah, this is nothing, wait until you get to the fantasy bioterrorism, that shit gets MEAN (i cannot wait for you to meet my number one enemy, the shitty triangles....oh, those triangles...).
but jokes aside, YAY I LOVE TC, i hope you have a great time. it really is a challenging game (truth be told, i've never properly beaten utk1, the end is sooo fucking hard), don't be discouraged by it! (and i'd say if you have the possibility to cheat, do so if you need it. who cares lmao.). i loveeee the characters, say hi to derek and angie for me!
hmm, you're playing utk1 on the ds, i take it, then? the wii version, utk second opinion, is kinda the same story, except...not lmao. it does follow the same story but adds new characters that appear in a later game, so it's a fun different experience. never played that one on the wii, but i did play a bit of trauma team and i find the gameplay a lotttt harder on the wii lmao.

A not-so fun fact I learned about pikmin 3 today.
The voyage log entries and check in conversations that talk about pikmin death have probably the highest priority, even over story progress.
I ended up getting a bunch of pikmin killed the same day that I collected all of the fruits. Charlie's "a moment of silence" entry was displayed instead of Brittany's "we've completed our mission" entry.
Same thing for the following days's check in - the conversation about pikmin death happened before the "we've gathered all of the edible matter" conversation.
The grief over the pikmins' death took priority over the celebration of them completing their mission.

Ahh maybe this is silly but I keep having the thought of Eddie designing little music mixtapes/playlists for his favorite dnd NPCs (or PCs he makes when not a DM)
Either for background music when writing said character or just because
Putting doodles on the tape of whatever character
All the CC lads making ones, getting together and taking turns listening to the different tapes and arguing how a song 100% does fit their dnd character how dare the others say it doesnt
(Thank you for listening, this just seemed like a little idea you'd enjoy as well ahh)
Anon I love that!!! I do!!! Does Eddie ask for a copy of everyone’s mixes so he can get a feel for the character and enhance his story line? Does he keep a tape player on hand and has a mix of EVERYONES mix that he plays throughout the session??? Trying to time things so that the music fits in when a character is having Their Moment???
Has he got comedy characters that he actually has very serious mixes for because he believes comedy is birthed from drama?
Do the cc boys mixes have sfx tracks interspersed? That they agonised over finding so that they could add Atmosphere to their character arc?
Ooh!!! Do they have speaking tracks that they recorded themselves in ‘character voice’ to tell the story of their character as the mix plays?? Is Eddie in all of them as a narrator???? I need to know!!

I hated Gourmand’s campaign so much that when I finally started Spearmaster I felt like I was in literal heaven.
I FUCKING LOVE POKING EVERYONE AND NOT BEING TIRED AFTER EVERY THROW.
