30 days of autism acceptance: day 1

[1 April: The typical introduction question! Tell us something about yourself. If you can't think of anything, try these: What do you enjoy to do in your free time? What music or series/show do you like? Are you happy with your current living situation/the people you live with? What's one of your favourite foods?]

hi all !! my name's ash, i go by all pronouns (prefer they/them), i'm pansexual, nonbinary and audhd (self dx). in my free time, i usually read or play videogames, and sometimes i'll do some art for myself although i treat it more as fun work otherwise nothing ever gets finished that i start on! at the moment, i'm reading the series of unfortunate events by lemony snicket (on book ten - the slippery slope - and about 2/3 through), i absolutely adore mitski, ichika nito (guitar soloist, math rock style), any form of rock although i prefer heavier rock//(death) metal, jazz, electroswing, LOTS of musicals (where are my hamilfans ????) indie music aaand i like a lot of punk-rock type rap too, from artists like grandson, call me karizma and so on (does that classify as rap ?? im really bad at naming genres so there's another thing <3). i'll link my main playlist here for you to listen if you're interested !! in terms of shows, i never tend to finish anything fully because i easily get bored of shows halfway through unless i really enjoy some aspect of them BUT that being said, i'm working my way through rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles currently (tmnt has always been a comfort franchise for me), and some previous shows i adored are arcane, the umbrella academy, aggretsuko, and bits and bobs of david attenborough's wildlife documentaries//docuseries on netflix. the people i live with are okay for the most part - my mum has taken a huge toll on my mental health and so has my dad, although honestly speaking i prefer him to her simply because he acknowledges that he's done that and respects me as a person (most of the time). my sister is great although i feel bad for being annoyed by her a lot of the time because, due to the day in and day out stress my mum gives, im either burnt out, in sensory overload, having a shutdown (i rarely have meltdowns most likely due to trauma reasons and also how i just naturally process emotion) but other than the bad stuff, i have it good in terms of living conditions. bonus points for my wonderful boyfriend @paracosmicboy who makes it so much better on the daily <333 i love cooking and baking and anything in the kitchen !! its my happy place and sososo good for grounding or distraction when im in a bad place, plus i get yummy food and the satisfaction of a completely clean living space when i'm all done !! really makes me feel good and in control (something i don't have a lot of in my day to day life and it stresses me out beyond compare). speaking of food, i don't really have any favourites in particular since i adore a lot of food from many different cuisines and people (i'm sensory seeking in that respect and was only a picky eater when i was really little). THAT BEING SAID, give me some sushi and udon noodle soup, or any type of comforting asian food, and im at home instantly (i'm half asian and despite my complicated relationship with my mum, her cooking is supreme above all others (apart from certain traditional greek dishes that my dad cooks) and it always makes me feel a little happier than i was before i ate it, and it reminds me of all the good moments with my mum instead of the bad - its magical). aaand yeah !! this is already really long so i'm gonna stop typing now <3 have a wonderful day my lovelies !!

here’s me being an annoying little bitch again but tell me more about your fav artists

favourite artists !! i will do top three for right now because im a little tired guy (chemistry final today) (finals season will try to kill me but i am fending it off with a stick)

i am Legally Obligated to put billy joel on this list. he has been in my top five spotify artists for the past two years in a row, and probably will continue to hold that spot. i started listening to it because a guy i liked really liked him, and i am but A Sheep in this world. turns out, billy joel is reallyreally incredible and i LOVE his work !! i think that's when i first started realising i liked 70s-80s music a lot more than i thought i did. his favourite album of mine is 'an innocent man', with my fav off that album probably being 'the longest time' or 'tell her about it'. some of my other favourites from him are 'zanzibar', 'movin out', and 'you may be right' !!

then there's abba !! i only really started listening to abba this year, but god am i glad that i did. again, im really big on 70s and 80s music, and they are the Definition of 70s-80s for me. i've wanted to perform their songs forEVER, and i might this year at my school's talent show (if all goes well) !! favourite album from them is 'voulez-vous', with my favourite being 'if it wasn't for the nights'. kills me every time. some of my favourites outside of the album are 'the winner takes it all' and 'money, money, money' !!

and then that isn't classic rock, for funsies: the mountain goats !! i need to listen to more of the mountain goats, i was lowkey disappointed to not see them on any of my top five this year :< they're very much alt indie rock if that's something up your alley. they realised their album 'jenny from thebes' this year, and it's SOSOSO good !! i also really like their album 'tallahassee', which is probably their most popular work. they also have a lot of live albums that they title the 'jordan lake sessions' which are highly worth the listen. some of my favourite songs from them atm are 'murder at the 18th st garage', 'wage wars, get rich, die handsome', and 'no children' but specifically the jordan lakes version.

if u smoke, he likes winding down with u thru a little smoke sesh at the end of the day and he will always make sure to ask u how ur day went n give u a due response. it makes it more comforting, not smoking by himself

if u vape, he honestly loves the smell of ur juice and when u try new flavors, he likes to guess what flavor it is

i’d like to say he smells like freshly washed sheets but ik he be greasy w sweat n motor oil LMFAO

and hes so used to it that he never really wipes the grease off unless needed, like if he has a customer walk in or if a distant relative visits

but he prefers when u come over with a towel to clean him up yourself, even if u scold him for it <3

his nails are always dirty i said what i said

he tends to pick at the dirt under his nails a lot but it just never gets clean clean and hes used to it

but of course when u entered his life, it became a usual thing to just have him sit down while u clean his nails for him. properly.

and while he sits there, he watches the entire process and the focus on ur face just so mesmerized no matter how often u do it

he has that dumb smile while watching u work on his nails and in his head he’s all like “my s/o is the most perfect and caring and loving and amazing…” the list goes on

in short, he loves getting babied by you

but!!!!!! he loves taking care of u just as much <3

u are definitely a role model/parental figure to his siblings too (and all the other kids by extension) i feel like that goes without saying

for the homies that don't know about deaf music: Deaf people, like hearing people can still feel the vibrations of music. Deaf rock tends to be a massive part of the community, because the reverberating bass fucking slaps (also here's a deaf band called Beethoven's Nightmare and their drummer was my ASL teacher as a kid lmao)

“where is he?!”

sakyo stared down at you, opening the door after waking up to repetitive pounding that nearly shook the whole dorm

you were still in your pajamas and out of breath—did you run over here?

before sakyo could angrily swear at you for making no sense just past midnight, you ducked underneath his arm and escaped around the corner

although some dorm lights were on, most of the rooms were pitch black as expected of it being a school day tomorrow. you were about to sprint into the slightly ajar door of room 105 before omi stepped out, an amused smile greeting you

“taichi’s in the bathroom, if you’re looking for him.” omi gestured towards the shared bathrooms at the end of the hallway, to which you gratefully thanked him and ran off again

(omi looked after you, a smile upon his tired expression. “kids these days.” omi yawned, heading back into his dorms and shutting the door softly behind him)

you didn’t take as much consideration into your actions before you slid into the communal bathroom, slamming the door behind you with uncontrollable force. you leaned against it, panting as you finally saw him

nanao taichi was sitting near the sink with three (3) boxes of random hair dye on the counters, very obviously confused and distressed

“taichi, what’s the emergency?!”

“my hair dye isn’t the right shade!”

“... are you serious?”

this was it. it was hair–dye day

except this time, it wouldn’t be just taichi’s hair transformation—you were getting a new look, too!

how did you get yourself into this mess exactly? maybe sleepily reading an urgent message from your best friend late at night declaring he was having an “emergency” wasn’t a good idea after all...

there was something about taichi’s big puppy eyes that couldn’t make you say no despite all your frustration, so here you were, tiredly following an overexcited boy down the aisles of the local convenience store

did i mention it was way too late? on a school day, by the way? i didn’t, well, now you know!

“taichi,” you called out, rubbing the sleepiness from your eyes and tried not to wince at the bright led lights of the display. taichi barely paid attention, humming an incoherent answer as he browsed the rainbow shelf of hair dyes in front of him

“don’t you think... we should wait until tomorrow?” taichi seemed to process your words a moment late, because he turned towards you, bewildered as if you were the crazy one

yeah, you were crazy. taichi definitely wasn’t holding three wildly different boxes of hair dye and debating between all of them. he also definitely didn’t mislead you into thinking something happened when all he had was s bad hair day. you knew you had to intervene or else his usual red would become kazunari’s palette

“tomorrow? what’s wrong with now?”

“it’s almost midnight, we have school in nearly seven hours, and i know for a fact you didn’t do your homework.”

(taichi flinched at that and you were unsatisfied to see you were right, as always)

“i know that, but!—” “it’s midnight.” “hey, new day, new you, right?” “we have school in a few hours.” “think of how cool you’ll be showing up with dyed hair!” “you have homework.”

“i know, i know,” taichi shrugged, holding the boxes up to his line of sight with serious consideration as he glanced at you. with one look at your tiredness, taichi put the red cart down and completely faced you, putting his hands on your shoulders with a pout

“come on, don’t be like that!” taichi whined, nearly stomping his feet when you just huffed and looked away. jumping so he stayed in your view, it was like a pet wanting attention and using its cuteness as its charm

“hey, hey, look at me, please~?” taichi dragged out, moving his hands so they cupped your cheeks. he made you look at him and all you saw was a backwards baseball cap on a head of nearly half black hair and wide cyan eyes. he looked fully awake, you wondered where his infectious energy came from

“turn that frown, upside down!” taichi turned the corners of your lips up with his pointer fingers, making you automatically smile with the way his giggle got louder. “that’s my best friend!” taichi patted your cheeks again and bounced back down to his heels, rocking back and forth on his worn down sneakers

“look at us! we’re two high schoolers about to make an impulsive decision! nothing could go wrong!” taichi laughed and although there were a million things that could’ve gone wrong, you just sighed with a smile on your face

“you’re right.” you said even if he wasn’t. taichi just picked the cart back up and tilted his head towards the dyes, asking for your opinion on what colors you liked

you chose red, too. when taichi questioned why curiously, you patted his head and responded with, “so we can match!”. the boxes of hair dye you both bought were red just like taichi’s face when you answered honestly

sneaking back into the bathroom to avoid the “you have school” lecture from a very pissed off sakyo who still couldn’t go back to sleep, you and taichi failed at hushed whispers. everything felt like a joke and it didn’t exactly help taichi found everything you did hilarious and comical

setting down the boxes like it was second nature, taichi let out a sound of excitement at the colors. even if you were running on little to no sleep, you felt the same with the adrenaline of looking like a new person in just a few hours

“we’re gonna look so cool!” taichi squealed, taking his time mixing the dye color with the bowl and brush quickly

you sat on the sink counter, swinging your legs as taichi leaned onto the surface next to you, rambling away about how popular red was this season and how all the students will fall in love with his trendiness

used to your friend’s lovesick, hopeless romantic antics, you fondly rolled your eyes as you stretched, stifling a yawn

“is that why you decided to dye your hair tonight?”

“... maybe. there was advice that having perfext roots would attract any woman in my favorite love advice column!”

“...” “do you think people will like my hair?” “they might think we’re a couple since we’re matching.”

taichi suddenly stopped mixing, staring at the bowl wide eyed at the red dye. you were about to ask what happened, before taichi nervously laughed and looked towards the ground

“u–us? a couple?! no way...” taichi blurted out, avoiding your eyes as he began mixing even faster

“do you want me to change my color then—?” you cautiously started, about to change your mind before taichi interrupted hastily, almost knocking the other boxes over by waving his gloved hands

“no! i mean, haha... no, no, it’s fine! don’t worry about it!” taichi laughed so you slowly nodded, not buying it but deciding to go with the flow anyways. you were too tired to think about it too hard

you both unanimously agreed that taichi would dye your hair first. after all, he had more experience doing this by himself until you came along

one thing though, you didn’t want to ruin your pajama shirt. after rummaging through his closet quietly, you felt a t–shirt land on your head and heard a victorious laugh from the doorway

lifting the shirt, you recognized the one–eyed monster graphic design on the front, its tongue sticking out with some graffiti text above its head

“are you sure? you always wear this one?” you hesitated to take it before taichi forced it back into your hands, his expression easy and humorous

“take it, it’ll look better on you, anyways.” taichi casually said and you wondered how many smooth pick up lines he’s been reading. but, one look at his light smile and you could tell he genuinely meant it

returning back into the bathroom wearing a black t–shirt, you had changed into his t–shirt as well. while you were making sure all the dyes were separated to avoid any accidents, you barely noticed taichi stop dead in his tracks

(how come you looked so... good, in his t–shirt? maybe, he should give you his clothes more often... taichi gulped, wondering why he was suddenly feeling this way. it must’ve been the lack of sleep, the tiredness of staying up past his usual bedtime, that’s all!)

“are you ready for the best hair day ever?”

unexpectedly, taichi was quiet for the next hour or so. you could tell from the way he carefully applied just the right amount on your roots to how he knew the time on the box without even looking

maybe it was the way neither of you had proper sleep schedules, but you nearly fell asleep when taichi began combing your hair. after letting it develop, taichi began evenly distributing the red color while humming a popular pop song from his playlist in the background

you didn’t know when you dozed off, but you woke up to a flash of a camera and heard taichi’s snickers right in front of you. rubbing your eyes, you sat up straighter to notice a plastic bag was wrapped around your hair with an empty bowl of red dye discarded in the sink

“morning, sleepyhead~!” taichi greeted way too happily at this hour, making you groan as you stood up. “you didn’t sleep, taichi?” you wondered out loud, noticing how he scrolled through his phone aimlessly with a nonchalant sound

“yawn—i mean! i’m not even tired, gotta wait for your timer to go off to rinse your hair!” (it was his rule that he was always the last person to sleep if he was with you) taichi proudly held up his phone and showed you the screen, as if you could see it from there

(maybe if you could, you would’ve prevented the disaster about to occur in the very near future)

“your turn, puppy. come over here.” you stretched and taichi squealed, running over just to nearly knock over the chair from excitement. taichi always liked doing things with you, and you pampering him made him feel a lot happier than he’d like to admit

“can you stay still?” “i’m trying~! geez, so mean first thing in the morning... uuh...” “awww come on, don’t act like a kicked puppy, taichi!” “woof...”

it was the saddest bark you’ve ever heard. you smiled even if taichi was squirming in his seat and pet his dry hair, your best friend automatically leaning into your touch with a content sigh as he closed his eyes. oh, finally! taichi went still, letting you start the dye process quickly

just like you, taichi was on the verge of staying awake and falling asleep. it was nice to have someone taking care of you like a little kid, not to mention how neither of you have slept for more than half a hour at time. as you applied the rest and making sure all the sections were even, taichi stirred in his sleep with a cute yawn again

“i’m cool, right?” taichi mumbled, seemingly getting closer and closer to snoring. you held back a snicker, nodding your head as you kept going with the dye. for your first time, it wasn’t even that bad

“yes, of course. you’re the coolest boy at o high, taichi.” you reassured truthfully, to which taichi pouted like a kid, crossing his arms and leaning his head back. you made sure none of the dye dripped off before you started painting the bright red on again

“that’s not true... juza and tenma go to o high... they’re so popular, everyone loves them.” taichi added on sadly, but you knew he meant it and it wasn’t just fishing for compliments. wondering why a boy as amazing as taichi would have an inferiorty complex, you frowned and tried to focus on applying the dye

“well, i think you’re the coolest to me, then. after all, juza and tenma don’t have this cool red hair!” you almost ruffled his hair but stopped, knowing it’d mess up the part. taichi must’ve sensed you were about to do so, because he let out a loud, sudden laugh with a big smile

“hehe, you’re the coolest to me, too!” taichi trailed off into a low voice, about to fall asleep for good. you wrapped his head to make sure the hair stayed in place, satisfied with your hard work and dedication to your best friend’s appearance

“do you say that to everyone you meet?” you joked, but taichi just shook his head vigirously, entering sleepy puppy mode anyways

“no, just you, you know why~?”

“why?”

“‘cause... i like y...”

taichi snored, his head falling lower as he fell asleep for good. you didn’t even process it, deciding to take the seat next to him without checking the time

time to get some shut eye...

you slowly woke up, realizing that you were now laying your head on top of taichi’s. he was almost drooling on your shoulder, even breaths leaving his lips as he continued sleeping. you lifted your head to look around for the reason why you woke up, until you noticed the constant ringing of taichi’s phone on the sink counter

“puppy, wake up, it’s time to rinse our hair.” you pushed taichi off, automatically waking him up as he rapidly blinked, trying to focus his blurry vision as he yawned

“... has the sun always been up?”

you froze, staring at taichi’s casual expression before it morphed into shock, his wide eyes finding yours with urgency. don’t tell me...

you rushed off the chair, nearly hitting it to the ground as you grabbed taichi’s vibrating phone, looking at the screen. instead of a timer for rinsing, it was labeled for starting the school day

“taichi.” you said, slowly turning to see him staring back at you. the realization dawned upon both of you severely. “we have school in less than a hour.”

mankai bathrooms were always chaotic in the morning, especially with twenty (20) plus boys all sharing one space. yet, today might’ve been the worst day to use the bathroom yet

you and taichi immediately began cleaning up and rinsing your hair at the same time, losing your minds over the lack of time as you two knew both your hair could not be saved

“what if i’m not cool anymore?!”

“can we focus on going to school on time?”

(banri and juza were exchanging their usual harsh morning greetings to each other, walking side by side to the bathroom only to hear taichi’s pierching shriek and your immediate scream back. they shared a look before collectively going back to their room, not wanting to know. it was the first thing they agreed upon in a while)

taichi dashed out of the bathroom with half a hour to spare, quickly putting on his uniform on without noticing omi who stood by the door, holding onto taichi’s backpack with an amused glint to his eyes

when taichi finally found his o high dark green blazer and pants (his dress shirt buttons were mismatched, but that wasn’t important), he was about to run right past omi before omi put his arm out, stopping taichi from leaving

“forgetting something?” omi held out taichi’s backpack with a packed lunch, making taichi exhale with relief as he took it gratefully. “omi, you’re the best ever!”

omi instead shook his head and crossed his arms, gesturing towards the bathroom where you were still cleaning up the red mess

“no, they’re the best. make sure you tell them that.” omi scolded gently, ruffling taichi’s hair but suddenly narrowing his eyes, looking the teen up and down with a confused look

“huh...? didn’t you dye your hair, why isn’t it that red?”

“don’t remind me, omi!”

(fun fact: leaving hair dye on for longer than 45 minutes will in fact, make the color much darker than intended)

(also... dry hair...)

you luckily brought your uniform, thinking the big emergency would require a sleepover. you stepped out of the bathroom and apologized to the bewildered and incredulous line that formed outside, rushing off to find taichi shoving a piece of bread in his mouth

“here! catch!” you assumed taichi tried to say, because his words were muffled as he threw you something from the kitchen. you caught it with ease, putting it in your pocket as you and taichi said goodbye to everyone in the dorms

you two didn’t even bother addressing why taichi’s hair was many shades darker and why yours was red as well. you two just left and prayed to whoever was listening you’d make it to school on time... or else

half way through making it out the door, you and taichi finally caught each other’s eyes and burst into laughter, nearly falling onto each other in the middle of the sidewalk like a bunch of weirdos

“yo! look at our hair!” taichi spluttered out, reaching up to touch your now red hair. you wheezed, trying to not cry from the sheer audacity of the strange situation at hand

“dude, look at your hair! it’s even darker!” you laughed and even though his bright red hair was apart of his identity, taichi couldn’t stop laughing just because he went through it with you

“am i still cool?”

“definitely, even cooler now, i think.”

the laughter died down and taichi wrapped his arm around your shoulder, grinning like there was no tomorrow

“you’re the best. i’m so lucky to have you.”

you suddenly remembered something you didn’t respond to just mere hours ago, and figured it was better late than never

“i like you, too.”

when taichi overcame his visible shock and multiple “are you serious?! don’t play with my feelings like that!” and figuring out you were being honest, he slipped his hand into yours with a visible jump to his step as you two walked to school

even if he wore gloves, his hands were still somewhat stained red from the hair dye that started it all

(“did you do the homework this morning?”)

(“... we had homework?”)

(“oh, taichi...”)

Okay, so I haven’t seen a show that I related to legit every character like, ever, and The Owl House hit me like a truck.

As I watched (and rewatched) how each character acts and develops, I look at them and feel a connection.

Luz, the ‘weird’ girl, the outsider, the overly positive, interested, distractible, oblivious, and big hearted character. I utterly love Luz Noceda. Like holy crap. We both find oddly specific things interesting be it a specific topic or the immersion into a fandom. We both make weird jokes and get into pun wars with people (I had one go on for about an hour once...it was glorious). For a person who’s pretty negative about myself, when other people are involved, I lift them up as high as possible, even with weak nerd arms. We both get distracted easily, or are at least oblivious. I didn’t know half of the things happening around me during school, and I honestly still don’t. I’ve watched movies 50 times and realized the actual point/blatantly obvious event during the 51st. I’ve had people like me before and I never noticed until someone told me then I struggled to believe it (”What is it she sees, in this cluster clump of me?”). (Honestly the entirety of ‘Ordinary’ called me out super hard). Luz also does crazy things for her friends with the best of intentions (even if it isn’t well thought out). Her heart is so big and she sees the best in everyone, it’s just amazing. Little things she does and has said, I’ve done too (especially the ‘cool’ scene).

Amity is often misread and quiet, struggling to talk to others. She also doesn’t like others to see her emotions very much, she bottles them up and has a need to be seen in a certain way. She has to be ‘perfect’ (a song which also called me out pretty hard). I feel that deep down in my soul my dudes. I always had to have perfect grades and I still have to be perfect at everything I do on the first try (I’m working on not doing that). I was always quiet, and honestly still am. I definitely bottle up my emotions rather than let others see what’s up and I have a hard time forming coherent sentences around crushes...well...around people in general. I always felt the need to be the straight A student and the rock in my loved one’s lives (which they never expected of me so I don’t know where that came from haha) and I still kinda do. Amity also sacrifices herself for her friends (Grom...sports....must I say more?). And though I may not have sacrificed my body, I’ve protected my friends hard core. No one messes with my buds.

Eda. Oh Eda. The wild witch who ran off to live in the woods because she didn’t like school and didn’t want to commit to one coven in life. The witch who is slow to pick up on things, is chaotic, and completely weird in the best possible way. I always liked school until I was about to graduate, then I realized how it can really mess with people (see Eda running around the school pointing out the strangeness of it all). All I feel that I really learned from school was to take a test. Creativity killer sadly. Eda has a strange sense of humor and is slow to get sarcasm or that it was a joke. Same Eda, same. I also cannot commit to one coven, well, career or job for the rest of my life. I like keeping my options open. Plus I would love to build a house out in the woods nearby and be a witch. I’ve always been weird and chaotic too, but I think Eda’s weird is way more fun than my own.

King is a goofy little dude who usually has weird jokes or points of view, but sometimes is super wise. I know that I have a strange sense of humor that it seems like most of my people don’t understand, and I have been known to be wise when I’m not thinking about it...on the other hand, when I try to be wise, I stumble and say something extremely weird. He struggles with public speaking/putting himself out there (Grom) and is nervous a while before getting comfortable with it. (I hate public speaking says the kid who did musicals for 13 years, writes songs, and thinks she wants to be an author, artist, actress, or musician). I also connect with King with the fact that I freakin’ love rubber ducky stuff. I legit have a rubber ducky bathrobe (of which one of my best friends gave me as a birthday gift...it’s a bit small but it’s sososo soft I love it), I made a ducky pillowcase today to practice sewing (it’s so cute I almost cried), I have a bunch of duckies stashed away throughout the house, and my Grandma made me a ducky baby quilt for the future. Ducks! Am I right? (I’m right.)

Willow is the shy, not-so-confident plant girl. I am too a shy, not-so-confident plant girl. I legit have about 14 or 15 plants (each have a name) that I care about a lot. I don’t really remember being bullied (I know I was at least once), but I’ve definitely had my heart hurt (honestly pretty badly) by people I considered friends at that time (I won’t get into that here). I’m also a shy person who’s been working on being more confident with themselves. Plus: plants!

Gus is fascinated by specific topics and is younger than everyone else, which may make him feel a bit childish. I feel this on a personal level. I’m the youngest child on my Mom’s side and the second youngest on my Dad’s. I was the baby and I don’t think I got to do much with the older kids (you’re too young so we don’t wanna play with you kinda thing, etc. [which is totally fine and I get 100%]) Though I may be older than all of my friends, I still feel like a child compared to nearly all of them. They’re all so smart and put together, and I’m not. I’m also fascinated by specific topics that others may not know or care to know much about (for Gus, it’s humans, for me, it’s a lot of things).

Edric and Emira are pretty similar to my sister and I. We aren’t twins, we didn’t always get along, and we rarely had shenanigans or pranked like these two do, but as we got older, we understood each other better and our relationship is basically being there for one another and really bad puns.

Hooty...well...I suppose we share the fact that we both make up songs and are bored a lot...definitely not that we’re both owl tubes.....*nervous laughter*

Owlbert and I share the quiet helpfulness trait...plus we’re both adorable.

(Some of these go deeper than others but the point is there’s still a connection).

Goodness gracious I love this show.

I haven’t laughed at a show this hard since Good Omens last year.

I love when I can connect with characters. It makes me happy.

Hello! I just found your blog which I'm absolutely adoring! Could I have a slasher match up please?

I'm a 19 year old girl, I'm 5'5 and wear glasses. I have medium length hair that's dyed a dark wine red color. I have an industrial bar piercing (hoping to get more piercings in the future). Pretty casual dresser but I love vintage fashion (basically anything 50s-70s)

As far as my personality I have some social anxiety, kind of shy at first. But once you get me going I tend to be quite silly and a bit hyper, but I know when to chill out and be serious. I am very loyal to those I care about. Although I am sort of an introvert? I really don't like loud or big events with lots of people, they make me pretty anxious. I can also be pretty stubborn. A huge history nerd, I love to read, and I LOVE baking. It's my passion. Very eclectic set of interests. Most of the music I listen to is classic rock or like... anything from like the 40s-90s range. I'm also a video game and movie nerd.

Some of my other hobbies are drawing and crocheting. And I'm also a blanket hoarder. Never been in a relationship but pretty sure my love language(s) are physical affection and quality time.

I think something so damn unique about seventeen’s performances is when they have choreography that involves all of them as parts of one big move (seen especially in the chorus of Chuck). They have such a different stage presence (in the best way) when they do this song. The only way I can think to describe it is wild, but in the coolest, almost chill kind of style. Also normally you’d think the rain would be a setback in an outdoor performance but they d e f i n i t e l y used it to their advantage

Name: Taylor. Pretty common and boring in my opinion. I always felt like it was suited for someone else. For a long time when people would call it, it would take me a moment to realize they were trying to get MY attention.

Nicknames: I've had quite a few. The typical Tay/Tay Tay.. ugh. My one coworker calls me Taze. Some people call me by my last name. In elementary school certain friends called me Taybee (who knows why). Throughout my vocal classes I received "Tayrawr The Tiny Terror" usually announced as though I was in the WWE. There's "T", Boss, Tater Tots, etc. Pretty much anything lol. In high school some people called me Lights because I was in my "scene/emo" phase and sort of resembled her when she first came out.

Orientation: Straight, however people ask me/assume I am gay quite often for some reason. 🤷‍♀️

Nationality: Canadian Mutt. (Irish, English, Native American, Norwegian, etc)

Faith/Religion: I was raised Anglican. I dont really follow anything day by day but there are certain parts of various religions that I like. More so leaning toward having a moral compass and not being a shitty human being.

Hobbies: Reading/Writing, Singing/Performing Live Music, Anything Related To Animals. I was in the horse industry for 12 years but have been out of it for 2 years now.

Pets: 3 year old female Lurcher named Karou, 11 year old cat named Violet, Male ball python named Swayze, Female BCI named Miss Universe, Male BCI named Mr. Crowley. I have tropical fresh water fish. I used to have 3 horses.

Favourite Colour: Depends on the day but either Red or Purple.

Music: I love literally every genre of music out there. More so depends on the artist for me. Anything from Country, to Pop, to Classic Rock, to Metal, to Folk, etc. Some of my favourite artists are Beartooth, Starset, Pearl Jam, K Flay, Imagine Dragons, Tim McGraw, Alan Doyle, King 810, Architects, Chris Cornell, Chester Bennington, Bif Naked, KO, Roger Clyne, Jason Lancaster... etc.

Coffee/Tea/Hot Chocolate: Coffee 100%. I drink triple triples. Dont @ me.

Favourite Meme: I honestly can't choose..

I want to live long enough to: See all of my loved ones do well in life. I want to see them start families and succeed in their career choice. I want to witness all of it. As for myself, each day that I'm still alive is a good one. I've been going through my own version of hell for quite a long time and just recently have started getting myself back together piece by piece. I'd like to one day be out of debt. I'd like to have my own home. I would love to have a family but I'm getting used to the fact that it might not be in my cards. I've yet to be tested but I'm quite sure I'm barren, and there is a lot of health issues on my mother's side of the family regarding reproductive organs and I already have ovarian cysts. Im the last girl on my mother's side that still has her uterus. If I ever find someone that actually wants to be with me, AND is a decent human being (finding both in the same person has been impossible for me), they may need to be okay with adopting, or already have had children with someone else.

Weird Obsessions: I dont think I'm obsessed with anything all that weird?

Random Fact: When I was 15, I broke my pelvis and my right wrist simultaneously.

Goals for 2018: to keep moving forward. Keep my head up. Pursue positivity and allow myself to love freely. Getting hurt is a part of life, and sheltering myself from it is unrealistic.

Eddie doesn’t know when Richie became so cool and he doesn’t know whyhe’s friends with him still, plain old Eddie with his clean-cut appearance,hypochondriac Eddie Kaspbrak with his button ups and suspenders. He imagineshow weird they must look next to each other, total opposites. But Richie’s beenhis best friend his whole entire life; he doesn’t give two shits about otherpeople’s opinions.Richie has this jacket that he really likes; it’s a denimjacket that he’s sewn all kinds of things onto himself – he’s proud of hishandiwork. It’s warm, it looks very alt-rock and it’s patched up with all ofhis favorite band’s logos, plus it looks really good on him so what’s not tolike? Eddie says he should take that thing off sometimes but Richie has grownquite attached to it.Eddie hopes he washes it because he sure does wear it a lot. “Thanks Eds, you wanna try it on?” Richie asks thefirst time Eddie compliments his jacket. The smaller boy insists he’s fine soRichie stays put, except now he can’t get that image out of his head – becausehonestly, Eddie would look so cute in something that clashes with his style somuch. He continues sewing stuff like studs and patches onto thefabric until it looks well-worn and much like the ones he’s seen Joe Elliotfrom Def Leppard wear. Several opportunities present themselves where he couldgive it to Eddie, except Eddie Kaspbrak is always prepared for the worst andnormally has his own with him - even in summer. What a loser.*As Eddie steps out into the late September wind, raindropsstart falling onto him right away, dampening his hair. It’s not actuallyraining per se, but it is falling lightly, like water is being filtered througha strainer onto his head. He hates this kind of weather, but if you live inDerry you learn to get used to it. “So cold,” he mumbles to himself, looking for thewarm sweater he wore this morning. “Shit, I left my sweater inside! Waitguys, I’m gonna go grab it.”There’s a jacket being flung out in front of him, the denimone Richie always has on. “Wear this,” he says and upon looking,Eddie realizes his friend is only wearing a thin t-shirt.“No way, you’re going to get sick! Put it on, I’m goingto get my sweater.” He’s already walking inside when Richie decides to puthis jacket back on with a frown. So maybe he has pictured Eddie in his jacketbefore. So what if he wants to keep Eddie warm at all times. It’s not like heactually gets to do it.Eddie emerges from the school once again a minute later, nowclad in a soft looking gray jumper. It makes him look even smaller than heactually is and Richie wonders, not for the first time, how little Eddie wouldlook like with his jacket on. It would be far too big on him, but Richie issure he could pull it off. Eddie has grown over the years but is stillconsidered small for his age - he’s not all skin and bones, more of a soft,slim figure, but he never grew tall. He remained as delicate and graceful as hewas and in Richie’s eyes that’s better than anything else.It hurts to not be able to tell Eddie how much he cares forhim and it hurts not to be able to hold him, or to kiss his cheeks or hold hishands. There is no use in lying to himself. But at the same time it’s ablessing to have Eddie as his best friend because he is the most amazing friendanyone could wish for. So he walks Eddie home in the rain as he normally does; it’sin the opposite direction of his own house but the longer he doesn’t have to gohome the better. They’re walking with Mike for about halfway but he has to takea left where they go right, so they say their goodbyes. Eddie is visiblyshaking from the cold wind, trying to warm up his arms as he walks - Richiecan’t take that, it just won’t do.“Will you please put this on?” he asks, taking hisjacket off again but Eddie just shakes his head. “It’s really cold now, I don’t want you to get sick.We’re almost home.”They round the corner to the house as he shrugs it back onagain. He still can’t get the picture of Eddie, pretty, delicate Eddie in hisjacket out of his head. This is ridiculous.They sit around in Eddie’s room for a while, the smaller boydoing homework while Richie reads a book. Jet city woman by Queensrÿche is playing - one of Richie’s favoritesongs of all time - and he can’t help but fidget all around with nerves. He’strying to gather the courage to say something, to do what he’s wanted to dothis whole week now, except Richie is a chickenshit when it comes toconfessing. For another hour he doesn’t say anything, but then he’s aboutto leleave and it’s almost too late again. Eddie walks him down to the frontdoor and Richie is already going except - there’s something burning a hole intothe inner pocket of his jacket and he wants to get rid of it. Just as Eddie isabout to close the door, Richie turns back.“Wait,” he walks up to him again. “Um… Ihave something to give you.”“Yeah?” Eddie hums, unsuspicious.Richie pulls the item out of his pocket and thrusts it intoEddie’s hands. “Here. Just, um. Listen to it okay?”And just like that he’s gone; his long legs allow him to getout of view fairly quickly. Eddie looks down; it’s a casette that says Mixtape for Eds in Richie’sfamiliar scratch. He runs up the staircase so he can listen to it, and by theend of the casette he’s crying.*Richie is standing at the stairs with Bill and Ben, waitingfor the bell to ring and the others to arrive when Eddie spots him the nextmorning. He’s in all denim today with his pants ripped at the knees, whichEddie knows is more a statement than anything else, his glasses are slidingdown his nose – and he looks so good.He doesn’t notice Eddie until his friend is standing rightnext to him, tugging on his sleeve. “Can I talk to you?”“Sure, Eds,” he answers in surprise, followingEddie somewhat further away from their friends.“What’s up with those two?” Ben turns to Bill afterthe exchange, who just shakes his head.“N-no-not a clue." "I’ve got one,” Stan chimes in. Ben shouts insurprise and almost falls down the stairs.“When did you get here?” He wheezes, clutching hischest. If Richie were here he’d make a joke about Ben having something to hide,but he’s over there talking to Eddie and they… both look weirdly emotional.It almost looks like they’re fighting, with the way Eddie’s eyes are shiny withtears. They can only see Richie’s back now but even that looks slumped.“I think Richie finally confessed." "What?!” Bill and Ben exclaim at the same time,turning to their friend.“What? He’s been in love with Eddie for like twoyears.” Stan deadpans. “Don’t tell me you guys didn’t know.”Bill is not sure you’re supposed to give out someone’s secretlike that, except maybe it wasn’t such a secret, now that he thinks about it.Maybe it does all make sense now, as he looks back to his friends and seesEddie yanking Richie down for a kiss so quick you’d miss it if you blinked. Andmaybe it makes sense that they both look happier they’ve had in a long timethat day, and the days after. Maybe it makes the most sense to see Eddie inRichie’s beloved jacket all the time now, wearing it proudly on top of hislight-colored button ups as if it was a statement. Maybe it is.
