Another person who I feel like played such a huge role in the start of Lando's time at McLaren and who I miss dearly is Charlotte. I forget which race it was, but it was really cute to see that photo her and Lando took together at one of the races the W Series was at as well. Idk I just loved seeing her in some of the Unboxed content and such - she really was there to celebrate some of the highest moments of his F1 career so far with him, and she was there with encouragement or just some general "stop being so hard on yourself and get your head in the race" mentality during some of the lowest moments of his F1 career.

Charlotte 🥺 I genuinely miss her so much!

She was definitely a major player in getting Lando to where he is now. She looked after him, especially during the early days when handling press was something Lando was clearly uncomfortable with, but more than that she was a huge cheerleader for him and that carried on until she left McLaren (and she still is, she posted after his podium at Imola this year too)

Her reactions to him doing well, whether it was qualifying or podiums or just overall good results were always so incredibly heartwarming, the amount of times you saw her and Jon hugging in the garage and then rushing to hug Lando, always cheering and screaming the loudest (which is hard to do considering how much Lando's whole team loves him)

When Lando got his podium in Monaco and a fan caught this video I legit nearly cried it's so sweet

And after the heartbreak of Sochi, when Lando was crying and she was there for him 1000% and her keeping him a little hidden so he could wipe his tears mostly off camera

Another moment I love so much is in the back of the Abu Dhabi 2021 unboxed video, while Lando and Daniel talk at the end, you see Jon, Jose and Charlotte hugging in the background and it's so cute I could cry (and have)

As you can now see I also have a lot of feelings about Charlotte

catch her acting surprised every time her growing collection of hunter 'kids' think she'll have no idea why one of them calls asking her to meet her at one of her safehouses every mother's day weekend. she also takes this time to reach out to the ones she helped with a fresh start at a normal life that are okay with her checking up on them.
