❝ i definitely prefer math over other things. ❞ something with a concrete answer, rather than listening to people argue over their literary opinions. ❝ oh, you know, same old crap. listening to everyone's drama unfold like a bad soap opera the guy my mom obsessed over enough to steal his name. ❞
guess he is pretty accustomed to only being around the guys and leah these days. ❝ complicated, right. never thought i would be yearning for the complications of a math class love triangle or figuring out what monotonous job to choose from. ❞

❝ everyone is so mopey and menacing, right? like who says the claws and fangs have to come out just because of who we are? ❞
"Nah, you're good. Usually it's people wanting me to shut up.." he laughed, "..so I'm good with stream of consciousness or whatever."

he's pretty used to his doom and gloom friends and sister telling him to can it. ❝ happiness all starts with your attitude. we can name things that we like to lighten your mood! i can go first! ❞
"Pretty sure I can be doom and gloom enough for the both of us. You want to try the opposite?"

❝ i would have figured a way out of it and saved the priceless haunted heirloom in the process. ❞ she's definitely blowing smoke up her own ass... they barely made it out as it was, but now bela has an angry client and witch to deal with.

teddy and cam when they find out they coincidentally put the crossroads under twenty minutes from the bunker the winchesters eventually call home
also thinking about an au where the amol never goes defunct and its a fancy speakeasy type secret bar for the amol to have fresh scenery. maybe a neutral rendesvous points for other branches of the mol?

❝ right? it's like god knew men wouldn't stand a chance without some misogyny baked right in. ❞
cleaning a shot glass, sonny couldn't help but let out a laugh. nodding in agreement, "you know... they just know how powerful a woman can be so i wouldn't put it past the universe."

"you were definitely right." sonny chuckled before looking up at him with a confused yet curious smile, "garth'd?"

❝ out like a light. i've been told before my house has that affect on people. ❞ she would always refuse to wake someone up unless it was super important. it had become clear over the years how sleep deprived most hunters were and she was not above pushing them toward giving themselves the break they deserved. she chuckles at cara's response. ❝ the days all run together, even when you're not chasing monsters daily. trust me. ❞
shaking her head, she turns from looking through the cabinets for what she could make to give the huntress her full attention. a gaze full of care, she still needs a bit of room to go all mom mode, if necessary. ❝ why don't you give your mind a bit to catch up? a homecooked meal will fuel you better than a bag of fast food or a gas station burrito. ❞
“I slept? For a while?” Cara asked. She didn’t even remember laying down. But this hunt had required a lot of research, and that meant days without sleep, and she must’ve pushed herself past the point of exhaustion - even more so than usual. Because normally she didn’t like to sleep around other people and, if she had no other options, did nothing longer than a catnap or two. “For the record, I rarely know the day of the week, let alone the date, let alone the month. But I’m good with years.” She offered her a small smile at that, scrubbing a hand over her face before shaking her head, “You don’t have to do that. I can just grab something when I hit the road again.”

that warrants a teasing roll of her brown eyes. ❝ oh yeah? is that in the job description of fighting monsters? if that's the case, no wonder so many people depend on you for help. ❞ coming to terms with the reality of monsters is going to be hard to top as single most worst moment of her life, but at least it led to knowing that she could depend on the winchesters and bobby when things bordered more toward creepy than outright criminal. it's also nice to know that bobby's much more than the drunk-and-disorderly mail fraud she'd originally had him pinned for. without them, she wouldn't have anywhere to turn when things got too monster-y.
❝ you're sorely mistaken if you think i've never spent an afternoon fishing. ❞ sean was far from an outdoorsman, but hunting and fishing were pretty much the only activities she could have hoped to bond with her dad over growing up. and jody had much preferred soaking up some sunshine rather than being tucked away in a deer stand starting at 4 am. ❝ that said, it has been quite a while so you may have to provide the poles and i'll get our snacks. ❞
A gruff exterior gave hesitance, moving his weight from one foot to the next while Jody placed small hands over his literature. Robert felt somewhat shy on the inside, a personal flaw that he so often shoved off in push to be the man that he needed to be. These days that feeling didn't arrive much, he thought it long gone.
"Oh, well, tell me how ya' really feel, Sheriff." Sure as shit, Jody was puttin' him in his damn place like usual. Woman had a keen eye for no bullshit and a way of flippin' him on his steel covered toes. "I call it bein' a professional!" But the smallest of grins did uptick to the corner of his mouth from their push and pull. Surly.
but the sound of havin' a night off did give a better disposition. "I like 'ta fish," and work in the auto-yard but Robert was a man of at least fractional class and wouldn't have her bending into an engine for five hours. "You tellin' me you'll stare at a bobber all day just for me to be less surly?"
