OK, so this is my first post EVER since I joined Tumblr like ten years ago. Always been a lurker, enjoying all of the wonderful things here, the gifs, fics, ships, art, all the knowledge and all the amazing heritage posts, but never posting and hardly reblogging, I don't know why, was always afraid I would make a mistake or reblogg incorrectly...
Anyway, the reason this is my first time posting is because THAT amazing moment that happened a week ago, and I've been losing my mind ever since, and unfortunately I have nobody to share this excitement with that will understand... So I had to get it out somehow, and here seems like the perfect place to do so.
I don't know if anybody will read this or pay it any attention, but never mind, I just have TO. GET. IT ALL. OUT!
So I've been a loyal fan of 9-1-1 this past six years, got hooked to these kind of first responders dramas, also Station 19 and then of course Lone Star. I fell in love with the writing, the drama and action, the characters of course, the emotional and moving stories, both of the regular cast and the people in the emergencies (am not afraid to admit that I cried more than a few times, especially when I was pregnant... woooh, that was a tough season for me).
Anyway, like everyone else, got invested in Buck's storyline and of course hopped on the Buddie train in season 2. And obviously there was something between them, and the fandom always clowned themselves that "in the next season SOMETHING is going to happen!" and I always wanted to believe it, and also fooled myself a few times but always was the cold harsh realist and realised it was not going to happen... But enjoyed the ride nonetheless, read amazing fics, saw wonderful fanart, read interesting breakdowns and analysis.
And then 704 happened and I'm not joking or exaggerating, my life changed!
Confirming that Buck is Bi was amazing! I'm ashamed to admit that I really thought it won't happen, EVER! So I still can't believe it actually happened (thank you soooo much ABC!) and like a lot of you, I've been on cloud nine this past week and can't wait for tomorrows episode (also not from the US), literally counting down the hours.
And look, I love Buddie, I really do, but I fell in love with TEVAN (my favourite one yet) 😍 and been OBSESSED with them this past week. Just from those few moments between them and what we barely know that is going to happen the next episode, I truly fell in love with them and really hope they make it as far as they can. I think its an amazing thing for Buck and also CANT. STOP. WATCHING THE KISS! The actors did an incredible job, especially Oliver, also with his spoken support of the storyline and his love for Buck. Such a KING! So this whole thing is huge.
And I have a one-year-old, my life is hectic with taking care of a little human being, a hubby who is also very busy, work, family and a million other things and this past year with a heavy heart I kinda neglected reading fics, and it was my main hobby, my escape, my one and constant thing in my LIFE since I was 12. I do read here and there, but not like I used to, reading hours and hours and into the night, multi chapters and long oneshots, in multiple fandoms, and now whenever I do get to read something once In a blue moon I'm not fully invested or enjoying it because either I'm tired or have something else more important to do. And unfortunately, eventually I noticed that I lost this fire, the passion in me and it left me sad and heartbroken...
And then something incredible happened. Ever since that earth-shattering kiss, the fire and passion came back! Holy shit! I've been reading and ENJOYING fics nonstop this whole week, I can't concentrate on work thinking about everything and reading in-between tasks, I use every single free minute I have to search new fics and scroll through the tags, I go to sleep late because I need to read just one more fic(!!!) even tough I have to wake up very early in the morning and I DON'T EVEN CARE. I'm thinking about it sooo much and imagining new scenarios in my head, and feeling giddy and happy, in a good mood a lot of the time, more optimistic, knowing I have a new and exciting place I can "escape" to, like I had in the past.
Its not that i'm not happy, I have an amazing son and a wonderful husband and I cherish every moment with them, but these are hard and difficult times and life can be hard and stressful and I'm a different kind of happy... So these past few days have been nourishment for my soul and my mood, it sounds so silly but its true! I'm feeling a bit like my old self and it's amazing.
And if someone did read this or did pay attention and got to this point, sorry for the long rant and thank you so much for the patience and understanding 🙏 I love you and wish you a wonderful weekend and happy Buck's-first-date-with-a-man day! 🥰

wow my hc’s for valorant are so strange LMAO
from “cypher regularly steals from Chamber; chamber is aware and honestly couldn’t be bothered” to “Omen has killed a handful of the other agents in a violent breakdown, and attempted to kill Sage on several occasions.”
why do they range from “lmao L chamber” to mental breakdowns, is this a reflection of my own mental state on a constant decline? either way i have to ramble
also: Sage has a specific padded room that is safety proofed when any of the agents are suicidal. Omen is the most familiar with it, obviously, but so are Cypher and Fade.
Omen would mention his box trips the least, while Cypher would stalk Sage’s recent mental evaluation reports and talk the others out of doing anything serious. for that reason, Cypher probably just offers to go on a walk with Omen, and Omen knows they’ll talk about it if they do. So sometimes Omen would say no, and then he would later go to Cypher (likely at 2 in the morning), and they would walk in the dark while Omen led Cypher through the trail they always walked together since it would be too dark. And Cypher would just listen and be there.
Omen is less violent ever since he and Cypher began these walks. Neither of them or Sage mention it, but Sage often mentions that “Cypher could use some help in his workshop,” when she notices Omen is getting antsy to encourage Omen to spend more time around Cypher since it does him good.
Cypher has died because he refused to back away from Omen during one of Omen’s violent episodes. The first time was the most emotional for them both. Cypher still flinches when Omen touches him sometimes or moves too quickly, so Omen mostly shows affection by nuzzling Cypher, or giving him things. (Depends how far along the ship is)
Brimstone tries not to send them on missions because Cypher often ends up not eating for days after watching Omen die. When they do, they aren’t allowed on the same site. Either way, Cypher does worse with Omen nearby because it makes him sick to think maybe Omen wont come back. Omen wouldn’t admit it, but seeing Cypher in Sage’s medical bay reminds him how fragile Cypher really is and it frightens him.
Viper refuses to tell Omen about his past because she’s scared that he’ll hate her for being the reason he lost it all. Omen has been barred from seeing her at several points for getting confrontational about it out of desperation.
Viper suffers from ✨ survivors guilt ✨ and believes she is fully responsible for what happened.
Cypher used to smoke. He stopped because the other agents kept pestering him about the smell, and Omen particularly hated it.
Omen is probably the only agent who hasn’t tried alcohol. This isn’t because he cant stand it, but because he doesn’t go out and refuses to attend parties; he doesn’t eat or drink anyways and has no interest in trying to.
Cypher likes honey with his tea. idk. i just like the idea that Cypher dislikes artificial sweeteners.
Fade and Omen spend a lot of late nights together. Omen rather likes Fade’s haunt, and it seems to like him too. Fade has a couple of black gloves knitted for her from Omen, and Omen often finds mysteriously gifted yarn and other hobby materials that Fade gets him so that Omen doesn’t have to go out for them

That's true - we don't know for sure that Trollian can fully emulate Sburb's surveillance capabilities.
If the trolls were sufficiently motivated, though, they wouldn't actually need to. Sollux could probably hack one of the kids' computers, to gain access to their Sburb viewport - although if he did, he wouldn't need a camera to snoop on their messages.
Is there a paranoia Aspect? I think I've finally found my calling.

I have no particular theories about who he is, how he knows Jade, where he got his hands on so many endgame weapons, or why he's got such an antiquated accent if he's watching movies from the 80s. I assume time travel is involved, but that doesn't really narrow anything down in a comic like this. He (she? they?) is a complete enigma, and I'll just have to wait to learn more.

I've actually been workshopping some Quest stuff for Sahlee this week! I suppose I'd need to figure out her Title first, though, and for that, I'd need to get a more solid idea of her personality, and how her experiences on Alternia have shaped her.
in one of your last posts you seemed to imply that the multiverse exists inside the timeline, but ive always read it as the opposite, the timeline inside the universe
that would explain why the trolls can pick any time from the humans universe to talk to them but cant have private conversations with their own futute/past selves, its not an inherent part of trollian, they are just outside the human timeline (the memos are still trollian being time fucky)

Originally, my assumption was that each timeline contained a duplicate of the entire multiverse. Doomed timelines don't seem to let you communicate with other universes/dimensions, though, so they don't need to contain other sectors of reality. I'm currently of the opinion that doomed timelines only contain an instance of the dimension they were doomed in. The only timeline which contains the entire multiverse is the Alpha.
This mechanic keeps doomed timelines simple, but in-universe, I don't know why it exists. Much like the Alpha itself, it's a mystery I can only speculate about.

Tavros is barely a presence on the Land he's ostensibly the hero of, and all of his actions are being dictated by a third party who can physically control his body. This third party does not acknowledge or respect Tavros's own desires, effectively forcing him to play the game in a way that she personally approves of.

Shit, this is such a dilemma. I'm honestly really torn.
See, I'd probably find old fandom theories absolutely fascinating to analyze. I'd love to know how closely my ideas align with those of the early Homestuck fandom, and whether I'm saying anything really out-of-pocket. My analysis of Sollux's ~ATH script was apparently an original theory, and it's honestly one my proudest moments.
But that's also sort of the problem, isn't it? If I dive too deeply into other people's fan theories, they'll start to affect my own - and if I'm introduced to a really compelling fan theory, it could end up replacing any homegrown theories that I could have developed in lieu of it. If someone had send me a well-reasoned ~ATH theory before I did my own analysis, I'd probably have been less motivated to make the analysis in the first place. After all, many of my questions would already have been answered by a clever theory I just read.
People are free to send me their own off-the-cuff opinions on what's happening in the comic, or their own takes on any meta I write. I get a lot of asks like that, and they're some of my favorites. There are also asks which spoil a little too much, but I'm still interested in their takes, so Cat's saving them for later. We don't really delete asks - we just delay the ones that aren't necessarily appropriate for a blind liveblog.
Obviously there's a fine line here, and whether a given ask is a theory or just an opinion is a little subjective - but in my opinion, the influence that asks and submissions have had on my analysis has been relatively minor. I don't think many of my theories have been spawned from an ask, or killed by one.
This is a little different, though, because it's part of a theory that was crowdsourced over several years. It doesn't sound like something that could be inferred by an individual, so I'm not sure if it's something an individual liveblogger should necessarily know about? If I start crowdsourcing my analysis, my theories will be less Wertsearch and more fandom consensus, and I don't think I'd enjoy that as much.
I really want to know, but I think I'll enjoy the liveblog more if I don't. When I finish the comic, I'll gleefully analyze any fan theory that anyone sends me - but for now, I'll just have to wonder, and come up with theories of my own!
Yeah, we've really been getting into it with Vriska lately. I've enjoyed trying to explain and predict her actions, and I'm glad people don't think I'm going overboard when trying to analyze her.
When a character does something interesting, I don't like to move on until I have a theory about why they did it. Sure, it may be refuted later, but it needs to be something that's consistent with what I currently know about their personality.
Vriska takes a particularly long time to puzzle out in this way. Her motivations are derived from a complex web (lol) of factors, including Scratch, Spidermom, her rivalry with Terezi, her horrendous relationship with Tavros, classism, teenage hormones, quadrant politics, highblood society and the Alternian culture of violence. They all inform her decisions, and any combination of them could have been the catalyst for the latest Vriska Incident.
I want characters to make sense to me, and Vriska is written to deliberately challenge my attempt to achieve this. Her meta is fun to write, so I'm glad it's also fun to read!

can I ask what your experience with stingray suits was like? I am hoping to commission them when they open next and wanna hear what the experience was like for you !! :3
stingray/spice is great to work with! seriously cant reccomend him enough ^^ for reference i commissioned a full partial of kubo, so im still waiting on arm sleeves, feet, and small add ons like his collar and eyelids!
i originally commissioned kubo to be finished in time for anthrocon, back in February i think? and AC was in late June. even though i didn't end up going to AC he was very committed to meeting the deadline, offering to finish the suit and still have it shipped in time when the con was 2 weeks away and the fur had only jus finally come in *___*
then i asked him if he could be done by furrydelphia, and even tho there was a hiccup with not ordering enough of a certain fur color, he still managed to get the suit to me early august! he even offered to overnight it so i got kubo literally Just as he finished
as for the suit itself its fantastic! its my second fursuit head so i still have a lot to get used to in terms of visibility and stuff, the ventilation is rough but only bc i wanted kemono eyes, which stop me from getting air circulation through the eyes but thats my choice! im sure his other suits have great air flow, spice was also super accommodating to my requests for comfort, like doing five finger paws instead of 4!
so yes i totally recommend stingray suits!
spice is also a pal of mine soO he was nice enough to theme kubos whole box around lovecore bc thats my thing :*) there were so many fun freebies and stingray plushies & goodies, he even threw in a WHOLE handmade weighted lovecore plushie outta nowhere?? the absolute mad man (but please dont *expect* free things with ur suit im just mentioning this bc im saying hes a real cool dude)
if you're considering commissioning stingraysuits i say go for it!! 💙

Do you have worries about either Envy or Nuzi being rushed and forced in the end to the audience to please certain fans? Would you be saddened if N and Uzi didn't get together in the end, despite all the development and growth the two have gotten over the season so far, especially with their friendship? I've honestly noticed lately that some Envy fans have said Nuzi is being shoved in our faces, but the same could be said for EP 5 "Envy" when they showed the past versions of N and V, and even EP 2 as well..it seems like kinda hypocritical, to me. Heck someone even went out and made an Nuzi hate account over on Twitter and it's laughable and dumb. But anyways, I wanted to ask are you worried about either ship being rushed and not given the amount of development?? I honestly feel bad that I can't like Envy as other fans do..I honestly DO wanna like it and I do kinda ship it, but I only ship and like their past versions, but it's just hard for me to really like N and V as a couple (especially present) In general when the show hasn't really given it the amount of development it deserves and the show also hasn't given me a reason to really root and make them seem believable, at least to me..maybe I'm missing something, idk. 🤷♀️🤔 It's sometimes scary and hard to be a Nuzi fan at times though when Envy fans and especially other fans in this fandom (at least when it comes to Tik Tok and Twitter, and even Reddit and Amino too) keep on calling Nuzi problematic and uncomfortable because of so much misinformation being spread and people thinking it's p*oship, EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT!! PLEASE STOP SAYING THIS, BTW!
But some fans are theorizing and assuming that maybe Liam is just playing around with the audience and saying that N and V might end up being the endgame couple which I cannot say, none of us knows until Liam confirms and says anything! I honestly do think there needs to be proper closure with N and V no matter if they get together or not, especially with V's treatment of N. I honestly think that V's sacrifice will affect the characters, especially N..since he and V were close and had a bond with one another!
And one more thing I wanna add real quick is this, now I don't know if this is 100% true or not and I'm just going by from what I've heard, but apparently I've heard that during a live event screening that happened back for EP 2 of the show, Liam Vickers was talking and discussing about how much he loved and enjoyed N and Uzi's dynamic (they are also his favorite characters) and he doesn't like one over the other and was also apparently asked on what his favorite ship was which he didn't say and said we'd eventually find out...I wouldn't be surprised if he's referring to both N and Uzi, since not only do they have the most developed and strongest bond and friendship out of any of the other characters, but the show has hinted at them being a item so many times, it seems sooo obvious. (I know this trope is cliche of main characters being a thing and I'm not the biggest fan of this myself at times, but N and Uzi are an exception for me! ^-^) now I MIGHT be wrong and things may change and go differently we'll just have to wait and see afterall, but even if N and Uzi don't get together..I'll still ship them because they just have more chemistry to me. 💛💜✨ But in the end, shipping isn't everything to me and I'm just here for the story, world-building + angst and the characters as well, but I'm curious to see what Liam ends up doing with the relationships and dynamics, especially since with this show..since anything can happen, especially with how crazy and insane it can be, especially with all it's twists and turns, haha!
Yep, nuzi may be semi-canon right now but everything is possible. We cant be sure what will happen to them exactly. But if nuzi really ins't end-game i hope liam gives a satisfied conclusion to them and their relantioship at least, no matter If Its happy, Sad or bitter-sweet.
Now about envy, i agre with you, i cant really ship their present selfs because of their development and their fans (they are so weird about nuzi and uzi herself ughhh) .
And if envy is going to be the end game in the full series Liam has to like- FOCUS a lot on them since they have a some things to pack up before coming back to each other. But, he has to put Uzi a litte aside for that....and i think thats something quite controversial to do since shes such a beloved protagonist and her relantioship with N is extremely special for the show (and fans)
But now that V has got some development and doesn't really hate uzi that much, envy may still have a chance of end-game.
But If they arent going to be end-game, Liam surely will give a nice conclusion for their relantioship, most probally a bitter-sweet one. (I also still have some Hope for vizzy-)
Also V's death is OBVIOUSLY going to be a part of N's breakdown Togheter with Uzi Almost losing her control and having to save the whole universe thing, Thats the entire point. No matter If he has focused on Uzi more, and getting feelings for her. V still was someone special for him (even If she treated him poorly) not even in a romantic way, if a friend of my died i would go crazy too.

Y/n , Y/n , Y/n it was all he could think about. how could he love someone he doesnt even know so madly? he didnt have an answer for that . she was making him feel all kinds of emotions and not just love, she was making him anxious at time , what if she believes all the kriti x kartik shipping going around the internet? what if she ships them too? what if she has a boyfriend? what if she has a fiancee? no no that cant be ,she's can only be y/n aaryan tiwari ! he wouldnt let any duffer's surname even get close to her. what if she's already married ? what if she is out of his reach already? His thoughts were getting ahold of him. He even called his sister Y/n once , good thing she didnt pay attention . he searched her up on instagram , facebook , twitter but there were a million women with the name Y/n, Not knowing her surname made it worse. a lot of public profiles , and profiles with a Dp was out of the way , kartik knew what his y/n looked like, he didnt even need to look at the screenshot he took, her face was imprinted onto his heart . but then there were a lot of profiles with no profile pictures or random profile pictures . he wasnt even sure if her name was her account name so social media was a fail

kartik and kriti had done their best to disguise themselves. they dont want the pap to spread yet another rumour of them being heads over heel in love with each other. the huge glasses , beanie ,mask and hoodie were certainly doing there job . no one has recognised them yet. they find a table and sit facing each other.
"oh my god kartik"
"what is it kriti?" kartik asks .

kriti didnt even have to finish . kartik could sense the familiar scent . he could hear someone sitting on the chair behind them. he turned around. she was right there. His y/n . In a satin green dress, her hair opened and flying slightly in the wind. Her eyes are searching for someone. kartik's heart drops once he sees the guy walking towards her , smiling . he sees her smiling back . The smle he always imagined shed give him when he says how beautiful she is to him , The smile she'd give him when he gets her flowers and give her a pecks on her cheek before leaving for shooting. But he isnt the one getting that smile from her right now and it breaks his heart . He isnt some kabir singh to go out there to force her away from him. she looks happy and thats what he'd want the most , for her to be happy

kartik hears them talk. kriti is ranting about something but kartik can focus only on what you are saying.
"ehh, youre wearing this green dress again?
"its my favourite dress adi "
"it looks shitty"
what kind of a man is he ? who talks to their girlfriend like that? if he doesnt like the dress why doesnt he just tell it to her nicely? why is she letting him talk to her like that? a million question runs over his head

as kartik walks in he sees y/n standing in front of the mirror. she doesnt look like she cried but what if she's really good at hiding emotions

"who are you?" she looks terrified . thats when kartik remembered his glasses mask and beanie , he looks like a goddamn serial killer. he takes off his glasses and mask
"kartik aaryan?"
"you dont have to call my entire name like that! just call me kartik or koki"kartik ranted out . he could hear his heart beat out of his chest. he could see her blushing
"what are you doing here?"
"oh my friend wanted to try out this restaurant!"
"The restaurant or its women's restroom?"
"oh shit ! this is the women's restroom? great here we go again . I swear im not a pervert , fate just brings me into women's restrooms sometimes"
"fate?" y/n starts laughing . she looks so pretty to him doing so
"this is yours i assume?" kartik takes out her badge from his pocket. good thing he takes it everywhere with him to remind him of her
"oh yeah ! i had lost it the day i met you at another women's restroom"
they both chuckle and walks out kartik puts his glasses and mask back on . he wants to say and ask a lot more but the fact that she has a boyfriend waiting for her stops him. he still muster up the courage to ask her full name but before he could finish they are interrupted by someone. its adi he is still looking down at his phone as he speaks
"i have to go now "
"but we didnt even order yet"
''oh come on man, we'll do this some other time and besides i promised riya from office a movie together"
kartik is on the verge of losing his shit . how can he talk to his girlfriend like that and choose another women over her? why isnt she saying anything?
adi takes his eyes of his phone and looks at the man in front of him
"who's this duffer?"
kartik loses his shit completely and punches him on his nose. adi stumbles back in pain
"thats what you get for treating youre girlfriend like that "
"bhaiyya!!!" y/n runs from kartik's behind to adi
"bhaiyya?oh fuck" kriti always told kartik he's dumb and now it was as if he has realised it
"what the fuck man? who's girlfriend? what girlfriend?" adi asks while covering his nose with his hand
kartik runs over to him
"im so sorry bhaiyya! there was a huuuge misunderstanding"
"whaaaat!? who the hell are you man and why the hell are you calling me bhaiyya"
"you are her bhaiyya , youre my bhaiyya why does it matter bhaiyya?"
y/n chuckles at kartik's remark and their eyes meet . kartik is so relieved that this man he just punched is no one other than his future brother in law but it really was kind of a bad first impression but he'll make up for it
"y/n ask this guy to leave" adi grunts in pain
"koki ! leave"
"koki? so no more kartik aaryan"
y/n blushed and looked down
"ill get going now bhaiyya do put some ice on it itll be alright"
"get outta here dickhead before i punch you back"
"ok ok" before he left he leaned closer to y/n
"you know where to find me" and he walked away from his y/n who was now a blushing mess and her brother a bloody mess.......

in case you guys wanna know how i spent my day off, i received a notice in the mail that i had something to pick up which is my least favourite thing in the entire world because even though there is a post office 5 mins from my house, the office that delivers my mail is the one 30 minutes away by bus that is severely understaffed and incredibly not covid-safe. every single worker there is mean as fuck. i have never had a positive interaction with any of them. they all act like how your social anxiety tells you people will act--except social anxiety is always lying, and this shit is somehow real. one time i had to do a pickup and the lady at the counter was like "what? why would we have your mail?" (insane thing to fucking say if you work at a post office)
so anyways i get this notice and its not the usual 'your mailbox is too small' or 'we need a signature' thing its telling me i need to pay postage. im like. weird but ok. my birthday is in a few days so im thinking maybe someone sent me a gift but didn't know it had paid postage?
no. i get there. i get there and oh my god. well first off my bus is severely late. so im standing at the bus stop for like ten minutes. then i get there. and the package i am being forced to pay 5 dollars for... is a fucking thing i ordered from etsy. the item itself was like 2 dollars and i already paid shipping. and this motherfucker. this absolute walnut. put it in a PLAIN PAPER ENVELOPE with ONE STAMP. forcing me to pay for the postage.
my rent just went up. i can barely afford to eat. bro. i am not having this shit.
i take it and walk back to the bus stop and find out the next bus home is delayed 20 minutes and it wasnt coming for 30 minutes anyways so i sit down at my laptop and try not to cry and that's how i find out how fucking impossible it is to report a shop on etsy unless you got fucked via one of their incredibly specific problems. it takes me like a year to get the problem resolved. and then they cant issue me a refund of the money because my card JUST expired at the end of august.
i spend 3 hours sitting at bus stops or on busses for something i dont even want. keep in mind its the middle of september so i have a LOT to do like when im not at work im writing 2k a day minimum and replying to comments and drafting new stories to be posted and shit. all the free time i have goes to my friends and my girlfriend. and i get absolutely nothing done on this day.
i got home and the item i bought from etsy immediately broke like i barely touched it.

Yo, this is like way too late,,,, but top 5 Kyoya moments?
wow i really needed to think about this hahaha this was so harddd
1. forfeiting during the survival battle finale in fusion
everyone knows this scene, this scene is iconic. it shows how much kyoya cares about leone, that he has priorities that lie outside of winning every battle, it humanizes him so much, not just to the audience but also to gingka & co. who are just flabbergasted by his actions here. really really good, maybe my favorite one
2. his first meeting with benkei
let's set aside all shipping here, me loving this scene has nothing to do with me shipping kyoben. it's just the fact that even though kyoya defeated benkei with ease from the get-go, he was still impressed maybe even delighted to have found such a tenacious opponent that challenged him again and again. i love how much kyoya loves it lol
3. the damian fight in masters
i love to see my faves get hurt, it's true, i'm not apologizing. the fight against damian is so so good. the way kyoya jumps into hades' gate of his own free will and then endures so much abuse from kerbecs only to stand his ground moments later and taunt him with "that was nothing" DGAGHLSG fucking yes badass as hell
4. kyoya figuring out that hyoma is fucking with the group to keep them from entering koma village
when i first watched that scene i remember thinking that kyoya is super smart which up until that point i hadn't exactly realized. i love watching him get suspicious and then his triumphant smirk when he reveals what he knows. smug little bastard, i adore him.
5. meeting tobio in fusion
the whole episode makes me so happy, the way kyoya immediately has some kind of understanding of tobio's character, then their battle, and then emerging from the experience with that mutual respect. i cant stop grinning whenever i get to that episode in fusion. tobio giving kyoya a lollipop at the end. yESS THEY ARE FRIENDS
honorary mention for kyoya's dramatic ass with his dramatic entrances in literally every season: in fusion before infiltrating the dark nebular castle, in masters swooping in at hades city on top of a bus (he actually makes all of team wildfang have a dramatic entrance here 😭), and then in fury shooting an arrow with a challenge at gingka and then arriving in a boat surrounded by fog
another honorary mention for the ryuga fight in battle bladers. similar reason as the damian fight, i love seeing him get hurt like that but he also has some pretty badass moments in there. amazing fight, so cool to watch, shish-kebab-ed kyoya has a special place in my heart

i have a question for those who are both trafficshippers and lore enthusiasts. when do you headcanon the beginning of your ships as an established relationship (if there even is a beginning)? because i got my own headcanons (for third life only, since it is the only one i have fully watched) and i wanna see if anyone has different ones
flower husbands is obvious and literally canon. in the first session jimmy gives scott a poppy flower and scott claims that they're married now. it is almost a bit childish and naive, but they were not afraid to immediately open up their hearts because they did not consider that by the nature of the game they will end up losing each other
for treebark i consider the moment where martyn makes ren go into his red life as the beginning of that romantic relationship. honestly martyn's speech literally sounds like a love confession lol. in the loyalty test, they're both unsure if the other is as invested and they are. at that moment they both prove to each other that they are both fully devoted and loved. their relationship is defined by their intense loyalty, which is fitting since they both die fighting together to defend an already lost kingdom
i may have a bit of an unpopular opinion for scarian, but i headcanon the "love confession" (or a silent agreed acknowledgement of a romantic feelings) at the pond they boat around in (after killing bdubs) right before the final duel at monopoly mountain. obviously their relationship developed throughout the series, but their fear of getting attached got in the way of expressing their love honestly until it is too late and have now to kill each other. this would deepen their strained relationship in the other seasons, by not having enough time to explore their relationship before permanently damaging it
cledubs was a difficult one because there wasn't really a "moment". they were just always each other's number one without having a moment to really talk about it at all. they were life partners even if it went unsaid. this also explains why when shit started getting scary, cleo was more hesitant on bdubs's (and crastle alliances') loyalty. they are someone who needs reassurance, and when times got stressful the nonverbal agreement to be each other's partner was becoming less convincing
some bonus last life (im barely on session 2):
up until now i headcanon lizzie immediately having a crush on joel as soon as she sees him. yes i know they are married irl and in empires lore, but i prefer to keep each smp (and even each life season) separately. up until now i haven't seen a established relationship yet, but i cant wait to see more throughout this season
i starting to see some ethubs development, but i don't see it established YET. i want to see team best actually start to see how different they treat each other vs the rest of the team. i do love how they immediately clicked, it seems like a pattern for bdubs lmao
scar and grian tend to fall back on their old dynamic with ease, but something always stops them (especially grian) and they part ways every time. i think im going more with a popular opinion for this season and headcanon that there will be no established scarian until maybe double life
also i've heard about this, when the fuck do martyn and mumbo become husbands??? is that a later thing or did i get lied to on the internet??

54, my god.
2. What’s your total word count?
188,134. Which seems both enormous and not enough lol.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Right now, I'm in a major Hatchetfield kick. Those musicals have me by the throat. But I am also working on a Stranger Things series too! However, I'm probably most known for my My Hero Academia stuff, I know a couple of those absolutely did numbers when I wasn't looking.
4. Top 5 fics by kudos
Oh I'm pretty sure I know. *checks Statistics* Yep I was right. My top five (and six and seven) are all from my Truth series, which is a MHA Dabihawks AU where Hawks joins the League of Villains.
5. Do you respond to comments?
I try! Sometimes I get overwhelmed and fall behind but I swear I always read them and love them and am so touched.
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Ummmm... Deadass, I think it was the first fic I ever posted, back in high school. It was a Doctor Who fanfic, about a Weeping Angel who feel in love with a human, and tried to stop killing for him, but was so hungry she ended up killing him instead. It's almost ten years old, but you can find it here.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I am once go back deep in my archives for this one. Back in 2015, I posted a Supernatural fic that was pure fluff, Karaoke. It was my idea of a series finale where everything was beautiful for once. Riiiiip.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
I definitely have before, but only like once or twice and I immediately blocked them. It is always heartbreaking though. :(
9. Do you write smut?
Once that I posted! Though I may have an unfinished draft or two, lol
10. Do you write crossovers?
Yes, absolutely! My crossover tend to be characters experiencing scenarios from other universes, rather than character meeting.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Mostly by the AO3 scraping stuff, though I have found some suspicious posts with stuff from the Truth series on other sites, but nothing really definite.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yes and I dropped my phone when the request came in. I was so excited.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Yeah I have!!! My go-to partner in crime is @little-engineer-who-cant, we've been writing together since middle school.
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
Oh god, this is hard. Ummm... I suppose the first ship I ever really super got into was Ten/Rose in Doctor Who, so it holds a special place in my heart.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?
Honestly, one I really loved was an Adventure Zone Wicked au. There were a lot of great concepts in that one, but I never really got anywhere with it.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Dialogue! I love dialogue. It tends to be what I write first and then I go back and fill in the blanks.
I feel like I'm also pretty good at exploring concepts, like, taking things to their furthest extreme and exploring what it means in the universe.
Also angst. I love angst.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Descriptions. I just want you all to know what I am seeing in my head, not have to describe it. I really have to work at imagery, and making scenes feel alive.
Also fuck fight scenes.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?
I would do it if I felt confident that I or another person could edit it to be accurate. If I am google translating or something, I'd rather just do English italics or say what characters the language are speaking. I don't want to butcher another language.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
As mentioned previously, the first fic I published was for Doctor Who but god as a kid I wrote myself into stories all the time! Should have known I'd end up a writer. Probably Yu-Gi-Oh or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?
Ohhhhhh these are so hard. Ummmm... To be honest, I am so incredibly proud of I Need a Shovel to Love Him. It is one of my recent Hatchetfield fics and is an exploration of grief, and it probably the closest a piece of writing has ever been to exactly what I pictured in my head when I wrote it.
But! Trying to ignore the bias for recent works, So Few Men Can Carry It is probably up there. It is an OC focused story in the Truth universe, and I loved discussing healthcare in a world with professional superheroes and plan to do more original stuff with that concept, because I love it so much.

once again wish the character designs were better
i think tristamp is v weird abt comedic timing? trigun's always had goofy little moments in any serious scene, but stampede feels weird for some reason
meryl's faces were cute
vash ran away from wolfwood, to meryl and roberto (without intending to meet them), and turned back around...???
the zazie mouth bit was fun. i think they did that before in the manga but i think it was weird then

i genuinely cant tell what theyre doing w roberto. at first i was like "why is a lackluster, apathetic drunk replacing milly" but i remembered trigun humanized a character who was an alcoholic very well, so i thought that might happen, but he just seems to occasionally be gifted w perception (though other characters will randomly do it, too, so it doesnt feel exclusive to him), and i cant tell if his "oh, this sucks, let's give up" is supposed to be funny or not?? at first i thought it'd be an act to protect meryl from the more ridiculous events, but he keeps doing it, and its like. what is the point. he is STILL annoying me in ep 7??
none of the main cast is reacting to livio apparently killing himself..? vash spent the entire last ep and half of this one interfering in ww's personal business just to let this guy die when he tries to kill himself lol? mr. "I disapprove of suicide the most"
there's just an entire room of the ship that's left alone?

with stampede's pacing so far, i can get why they'd reveal vash isnt human here. there's no way they'd hold out w all their other choices so far.
i also dont like those plant lines. it feels like... idk, a lame idea of how aliens or whatever would look like. i probably just like my aliens like the nge angels or the typhon from prey.

Okay so im back for a minute since i saw some stuff you had posted
1. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR IMBIBITOR LUNAE. IM SO GLAD HE ALSO CAME HOME FOR YOU. So about Bailu and the Vidyadhara in general, im going to try my best to generalise it and also not to accidently spoil anything so 1. They can reincarnate infinitely but at the cost of their own memories. So once they self reincarnate, they wont keep their old memories, although there are some exceptions for some vidyadhara but i wont elborate on that since that is something you’ll learn eventually. 2. They cannot have children, so if any vidyadhara dies, it is a big deal. 3. Yeah they are immortal in a way, they simply self reincarnate to continue their life albeit at the cost of their memories. 4. Bailu is an interesting case but im afraid if i talk more i might spoil you so just enjoy the story
Also about Luocha, well there isnt much information about him. All we know about him is that he seems to be blessed by Yaoshi and he looks eerily similar to a antagonist from Mihoyo’s other game, Honkai Impact 3rd. There is also one other piece of info i left out about him that we currently have but judging from where you are at the story, i dont wanna spoil it and want you to have the joy of witnessing it. The Xianzhou Luofu arc is honestly exposition arc for the overarching story of HSR so you will get much more lore about them (i think we will get to know more about the vidyadhara more in the future since there are still the other Xianzhou ships)
2. OMG the idea of an Ex fatui agent reader & wanderer would be an cute and excellent idea. Both of were victims of The Doctor and suffered immensely because of him. Even when they don’t seem like it, they have many similarities and with Nahida Therapy, i think both of them will eventually be their closest friend for each other because of their dark history with the doctor, they both understand each other because of that history. Also i cant help but imagine a very cute family with reader being the parent, Wanderer being a snarky older brother, while Collei is the baby of the family. They may be very traumatized but they will still kill anyone that hurts their little family :)
3. OOOOO PLATONIC HSR X READER THOUGHTS! Ok since im currently running a bit late rn, i will simply give one thought i have. Qingque and their workaholic older sibling, so we know Qingque is lazy as hell right? Why not give her an older sibling who is very strict and stern with her and would nag Qingque to stop being a slacker. I imagine this sibling to be an Amicassador for the Sky Faring Commision like Tingyun, so they would be out a lot, which let Qingque slack as much as possible but dw the reader had someone to keep an eye on her :)

i want to inject vidyadhara lore into my blood i am so fascinated by them....
I KNEW IT I KNEW THERE WERE DRAWBACKS that is so fascinating though and it makes so much sense because i imagine it being something like shedding an old shell. so much pain and angst potential there with that concept too. if the vidyadharas are aware of the fact that they will experience memory loss with new incarnations... hear me out: what if they had diaries and scrapbooks from previous incarnations because they knew they would forget and and RAAGRGEHGHWG i'm so (ab)normal about them sorry AND THEY CAN'T HAVE CHILDREN? that is so fascinating. i imagine by that you mean they can't pass on their vidyadhara lineage (or have children in general, but focusing on the idea that they can't pass down their lineage)... no wonder it would be a huge deal if/when one died then.
luocha could commit serious crimes and it would not change how i feel about him LMFAO bro is majestic? he gives off wine uncle vibes. comes around once a year and tells you things you aren't supposed to know and then leaves again to do god knows what. i am very much enjoying this arc. it's so... lore-heavy. and i love that. it is feeding my fanfic writer and oc creator brain.

[name] is collei's parent, in a way. the wanderer is simultaneously both [name]'s and collei's guard dog older brother... he is older than both of them, after all. all three of them are capable of committing serious crimes--the wanderer can and will commit a violent crime in defense of his little traumatized family, [name] can and will commit a violent crime in defense of their little traumatized family BUT would only do so if seriously needed, and collei could but won't.
