What 1 night of playing the Arkham series again does to a person- I dunno maybe an AU idea? Probably not, just wanted to draw Riddler Brainstorm bc I kept thinking about BS whenever Riddler spoke ingame lol

I was just watching Jimmy’s new video 👁_👁..

I haven’t seen Jimmy’s POV for Evo, just bits of him via Grian and Martyn, or lore posts..

I think the curse is rly interesting, something I’ve noticed is in Evo, the little animation when Jimmy jumps into the portal, he’s trying to fly away ! Out the portal …! Away from danger, but can’t.

He’s apparently the Watchers’ least favourite, but I think the Listeners favour him, often using him as a messenger.

I think even before he’s cursed, he has this sense of danger, heightened anxiety in particular moments. I Kinda like the idea of him as an Oracle

I think he dislikes his own Canary traits bc of how the Watchers treated him, but grows to like his wings and feathers, I think his wings are pretty weak tho from not using them.

I dunno how to fit him into EvoAU, i think he momentarily travels with Martyn before they get separated.

In fact, based on Will's rainbow spaceship and how Will was supposed to wear colorful clothes before the UD (even his clothes on the day he got missing have a bit of a bright red) based on his original character description in pitch and pilot script, the Will the Wise costume or the outfit with which in my opinion Will looks more comfortable in Lenora, I think Will actually likes vibrant colors.

Genuinely don’t mean this as a complaint about anyone doing this individually but I do kind of wish various dunmeshi characters (mostly but not exclusively Laios) weren’t referred to as “freaks” as often as they are online.

IK it’s mostly meant in a fond way but it still feels kinda judgemental/distancing sometimes and I’m simply not interested in acting like I’m not a big fan of all the weird things going on in dunmeshi. I want to embrace it and enjoy it, not pretend like it’s something I’m observing at arm’s length. I’m sorry gamers but the truth is I’m not shaking my head with a fond but bemused expression on my face every time Laios gets intense about some monster thing. I’m hooting & hollering. I think he should be even weirder about it, actually. Okay maybe not that but hopefully you get my point.

#also freak as a term of affection just generally doesn’t particularly work *for me personally* and sometimes it’s a bit jarring #to see it used in reference to something I wrote about the charas. I dunno #I think I have a chronic sincerity problem when it comes to Posting on the Internet tho I’m sure it’s not that deep #but it’s still how I feel & I do wish it was a haiiir less common #ah well. such is life

surprisingly my feelings on alastor have evened out to be completely neutral so far. i tend not to like overpowered characters but i can't deny his aroace swag. he's funny but a little bit boring. i think the most i liked him so far was when he got humbled during that meeting with the other overlords. i like the idea of him craving attention as much as vox but just being better at hiding it

#though if al turns out to be the main villain at the end of the show? HELL YEAH i'd be SO down for that #but i dunno. something makes me doubt that. i think he's more filling the weird kooky mentor/protector who dies role #still only four eps in tho so it's gonna be impossible to tell #willow whispers #hazbin hotel #hazbin hotel spoilers
