Okay, not to be a shill, but. My job is hiring. They seem to be going hard on hiring, starting up social media accounts to try to reach people.

But they aren't reaching out on Tumblr, which is a shame, because this is The Autism Website and the Otherwise Neurodivergent Website and the Chronic Illness/Disability website, and it really seems like these communities should have first dibs which is why I'm posting.

Do you like mildly repetitive tasks? Do you wanna sit at your computer and Do The Thing and maybe you don't talk to your coworkers and that's fine? (Or you can if you want!) Do you like working from home, for as many or as few or as variable whenever hours as you want/are able to?

The website ( https://dataannotation.tech/ ) says $15-$20+/hr. I suspect if they're phrasing it that way they have their reasons and I shouldn't say differently but look, I am making gestures and emphatic tones of voice and eyebrow-waggles at that +, okay?

The catches: 1) Standard gig-economy catch that it's no benefits, etc. 2) They're currently only hiring in US/UK/Canada/Australia/NZ/Ireland, but other folks can still sign up and be in the system for later. 3) It's AI. It's not the most famous name in AI, but some of the projects are for Big Tech Companies. I know folks have Strong Feelings about AI, and there have been a few projects that I've passed on. So I'm being upfront.

My experience with the job:

Sign up. Tell them about your skills, but it doesn't have to be a whole resume-ass thing, just "I have xyz interesting knowledge and skills" -- like if you have a degree, or that you like to write, or whatever. Take a qualification test.

Waaaaaait. Maybe you don't get in (and then they don't message you, which does suck of them). Maybe you do! Then you have a dashboard and it'll have links to things you can do (and what they pay, hourly or per-task). And there's a Slack for some of the projects, that's about half asking questions and half "look at this ridiculous thing the AI did."

For me, right now, they are all some variation of "give the AI a task/ask it a question; select the better answer." Sometimes there's "help us make training data for the AIs." Sometimes there are more qualification tests to get into more projects.

Record how much time you spend, report it, wait for them to validate the time (~1 week).

Here is part 4 of the dialogue prompts! Just had a bit of inspiration for a new story, so there are a LOT OF THEM. Enjoy! :)

"So, who do we have then, if they're dead?"

"I've heard that expression before."

"Is that a threat?"

"These concerned parties need to have themselves heard otherwise I can't give you clearance."

"How uncomfortable are we talking?"

"He's a nice kid, love. Not too bright though."

"It was easy. Almost too easy."

"I'm a very busy woman. Okay? Next time, make an appointment."

"Get straight to the point detective."

"This is quite an establishment that you've got going here."

"Well, we both know that's bullshit."

"Give me one good reason as to why I should do that."

"You should let them go because it's the right thing to do, but I doubt that means anything to you."

"And that's how you did it."

"You come into my facility, you lie to me, you make threats and you low ball me? Please, I've got better things to do than to waste my time with you. Get out. Get out now!"

"You don't get it do you?"

"How could we have messed this up this badly?"

"Do I look like a person that would do that sort of thing?"

"We got away with it!"

"They don't have any evidence? No fingerprints? Nothing?"

"We don't even know why they were attacked."

"And no one is asking that question!"

"We're not taking any visitors at the moment."

"Let me see what I can do. The full works. Make some phone calls, talk to people. You know, stuff that you don't do."

"I saved your skin here, let's not forget."

"It was too late. They had gotten to me first after you left."

"Why'd you disappear on me, all of those years ago?" "It's not that simple. If it's any consolation, it didn't have anything to do with you." "That makes me feel loads better. But it's still not an explanation!"

"It'll be an in and out job, love. I'll be back before you know it."

"Has it ever occurred to you that maybe she doesn't want to be found?"

"It's none of your business!"

"Oh shit, I grabbed the wrong one." "It better be a damn good funeral."

"I am... a freaking genius! LETS GO!!!"

"What kind of organization are you running here?!"

"I am asking you, because I know that you can handle it."

"I want to read the card."

"You didn't have to make a big deal out of it."

"Give me the keys, I'm leaving."

"You know what?! Maybe I should take the transfer!"

"Can I say something?!" "NO!!"

"Waste of time, huh? Guess who got these documents, from him? Oh, wait. It was me. All me! You're freaking welcome."

"Cancel everything! I have an important announcement to make!"

"I want to do it on my terms." "I was thinking about this earlier."

"We're considering all options." "Like what? Like handing over the kid?" "I told you. We're considering every avenue."

"This is where it all starts." "I haven't told them yet."

"We did give you a bit of a warning."

"You knew?! All of you knew? How come she didn't tell me about it?!"

"Because we'd knew you'd react like this, that's why!" "Fine then. Let's go the extra mile, shall we? I forbid you from seeing him!" "You can't do that!" "I believe I just did!"

"Don't you have anything to say about this?" "I think he's got a point."

"Oh, sure! Way to side with him."

"I should be able to make that decision, I'm older than you!" "Not by much though."

"I can have it reversed if I need to."

"And that's a major if okay? All of this isn't going to be enough. We need hard evidence! Not something that you stole!"

"Way to piss her off man."

"You really have to tell that story again?"

"That was so rude of me. I do apologize."

"She's listening to that song again! It's been nonstop for hours! Make it stop!" "Go talk to her!" "What do you expect me to say, huh?"

"I think you're making too much of this. You do have a tendency to overthink." "I do not. Okay, fine, maybe I do."

"Hopefully it gets a little bit better for you."

"I know. I'm just teasing." "Welcome to my world."

"Yea, but I didn't want to see that." "He didn't seem to have a problem with it."

just a curious question , but how long did it take to write Donnies day job AU?

I recently started opening requests for writing stuff and im nervous, despite the fact that I do short fics mostly but im worried that it'll be a lot more work than I planned it to be and im getting ahead of myself :((

I feel like asking writers how long and how much effort they put and compare it to my style of writing that it'll ease my itty bitty brain calculations, lol

well... to answer the question, i don't have an exact hour count on it, unfortunately, but from the creation of the document to publishing it was about two and a half weeks. averaging it out, i think i probably spent about... hm.... probably about 50-60 hours on it.

as for my commentary on the overarching question, i don't think you should worry about what other people do! if you're accepting requests, here are some things i would recommend to help you out a bit.

have a pinned post where you are very specific with what you will and won't do, and whether you are currently accepting requests at the moment or not.

on your pinned post, if you have a particular desired format, be clear. for example, i'm clear on my pinned post that if you have a desired tmnt-verse, you need to tell me, or else i will pick one myself.

be comfortable closing requests, and keep those boundaries solid! otherwise, you're more likely to feel overwhelmed.

remember that these are requests, not demands. people are asking you to please write this thing for them. you aren't beholden to anyone, so if something just isn't working for you, don't worry about it. if it takes a long time, don't worry about it. if you decide you don't wanna do something, don't worry about it.

have fun with it! the moment you aren't having fun with it, stop and do something else. if it's fun for you to use this as an exercise to get better with your writing, so you want to work really hard on them, then do that! if it's fun for you to get little ficlets out and just have stories under your belt, then do that! do what's fun, and don't do what isn't fun.

"Red one or brown one?" you were asking Kory about which dress yous should choose for the night.

"Does it really matter? You'll look awasome in anything. And boys'll definitely fall in love with you again and again." she chuckled.

"What are you talking about? It's about make him friendzone me forever!"

"Both of them or just Charlie?" she asked. You started to blush.

"Shut up! There's no such a thing like that! We're friends and will stay like that." Really? Wouldn't you want more Y/N?

"Well your face says otherwise but I don't want to be the one make you redder." she chuckled again.

"What're you talking about? I'm not gonna get redder!"

"Yes yes. I'm sure you'll get." she winked at you. What's she talking about? Does she know something about my feelings? Or could that be Jason's? Y/N!! Stop dreaming!!

"What do you mean?" you asked hoping she'll explain it the way you wanna hear.

"My lips are sealed." she said looking all-knowing.

"Really Kory? Whose side you're on?"

"Side? Is there a battle to pick a side?" she answered. Damn! What're you saying girl? Just choose a dress and go to that damn dinner and then... Everything'll go back to the normal...

"You're right. So which one it'll be?"

"Red is good." she winked again.

"Stop that please. Did you know I almost called Dick to act like my boyfriend?"

"Oh dear! Him? He'd try to matchmake you with Charlie if he liked the boy!"

"I know. It was just a moment of my brain wasn't functioning properly."

"Tim would be better than him. Damn we won't be able to see Charlie's face when he spend 2 minutes with him anymore!"

"Right! He'd be better for this job if he'd pickup his damn phone!"

"That'll be better now. Tim would freak him out. You know with all his nerd side and bags under his eyes."

"Yes! He'd be my best option! Maybe I should call him again." What's that? You're running away from Jason like that?? After he accepted to help you, his best friend?? God help me!!

"No!! Tim might be better for the act but Jason's the perfect one, trust me." Kory said.

"You're not so different than Dick y'know?" you said.

"We're not same or not similar Y/N. Don't even try to imply that!!"

"Well, Kory, he's one of a kind y'know." It's my turn girl! How was that huh?

Now it was her turn to embarrass. "Stop it! How the tables turned to me now?"

"I don't know. Maybe they did when it's too obvious from your movements that you like him." you winked now.

"I'm acting pretty normal with him! What are you talking about? Did Dick say anything to make you feel that way?"

It was her turn to ask about if her crush likes him back. You knew they both had something for each other. They both love each other unlike us.

"It's red then." you said deciding not to embarrass her anymore.

"Y-yes. Red is fine." she said.

You wore your dress and make up with help of Kory.

"Jason's about to be here I guess."

She was looking at you. "You're breathtaking Y/N!"

"Are you secretly into me Kory?" you jokingly asked your hot friend.

"I'd be--"

"If you weren't into someone else I know." one last time you winked at her. Both of you laughed at all teasings.

It was 7pm when you both heard the knocking. You went to the door forgetting Kory was at your place. Hope you like to see me like that J.

You opened the door. He was there. Damn boy! What a delightful look! "Hi! You look great Jason."

"You look great too Y/N." She looks awasome! How will I able to forget about tonight when she looks like that? Come at your senses J.

"So... How do we do it?" you asked him.

"I don't know. I've never pretended as someone's boyfriend before." he joked. Did I screw it up? Did my joke offend her?

"Well, Kory's here. She's gonna help us." you said feeling Kory's warm body behind yours.

"Hi Kory." he greeted her gently.

"Wow Jason, what a gentleman you're!" Kory said almost shockingly.

"I mean I didn't expect you to be like that. Didn't mean it bad way. Really. It's just--"

"Angry robin. I know. It's okay Kory. Really." he assured her.

"You're really cute! You'll absolutely be the cutiest couple ever!"

"Kory!!" you said with your all-blushed face.

Did she hint about her feelings about me to Kory? Is Y/N in love with me? Shit!! How this night will end?

"That' just an opinion! Relax both of you! Or you're gotta get to the hospital before dinner." she winked to both of you.

"Uhm... Maybe we should go to the restaurant?" you offered.

"Y-yes. Let's go to the restaurant."

"Yes. We can discuss about our relationship history. Like ow we met, when we started to date and things like that." you said.

"Maybe you could add some honest things in your story." Kory offered. "Like you two were best friends before dating. One bad day made you realize your feelings for each other?"

Both of you remembered that night. Jason's desicion on getting in to your apartment from your bedroom window. Without giving you a call. You both blushed again.

She definitely told something to them. Why don't you feel the same way Y/N? If you did then...

"Thank you for everything Kory. We would love to discuss about that but we're about to be late. Let's go Jason."

"Sure."

When you both went out your apartment you saw the giant car.

"Uhm, Jason what's that?"

"It's our car." he said all-smilingly.

"Our what?"

"I thought you wouldn't be comfortable with my bike so I rented this car for tonight."

"Wow! You're... thoughtful." Is she smiling? Did she like it? She likes considerate ones. Of course. Who wouldn't?

He opened front door for you. "Thank you." you could say only before your voice started to drop. He's gonna be amazing boyfriend for his lover. It shouldn't break my heart damn it!

You gave directions and you were in the place after 10 min.

You went in the diner with holding hands.

"That'd be more convincing, huh?" you said. He nodded trying not to show you his blushed cheeks.

"It looks like nice place. Did you choose here?"

"Yes. I feel calm here. And tonight I need that feeling."

"Why didn't you ever bring me here?"

"Well... It's--"

"Y/N!! You're here!!" Dick shouted like everyone in the diner had to know you were there.

"Hey Dick--"

"With Jason?? OMG!! You're finally a thing now!!"

"Dick-head, shut up!!" Jason said.

"Why?? You were simping over her behind closed doors!! I'm so--"

And it happened. Dick felt to the ground hard with Jason's puch. You were speechless.

"Why don't you just shut up?"

"Jason!! What just happened?"

"Yes Jay! What was that?" Dick asked too. He was shocked by his brother's reaction.

"I..." Damn it Dick! Why are you here? Why are you saying things like that? In front of her?

"Hi guys!" Charlie greeted the shocked group with a smile. His smile turned into confusion. "Uhm... What's happening Y/N?"

What I'm gonna tell him now? "Well..." while you were still trying to process what just happened Jason and Dick came to your help.

"It's nothing! She didn't expect my b-brother to come eat with us too." Jason said with shouldering Dick.

Dick was smiling like he wasn't punched by Jason now. "Yes! I'm Dick!"

"Hey! I kind of know you, y'know. You're one of Bruce Wayne's boy, right?"

"Yes! We both are actually." Dick said with looking at Jason warmly.

What was that? He's being a brother to me now? Grayson, you're bes-- Good person!

"Wow! Y/N! You're dating one of the Wayne boys? Man, your dad helped me to graduate. If it wasn't him I couldn't be the man I'm now."

What's that? Did he forget about all I-like-Y/N shit? Was this boyfriend act pointless?

When you were freaking out if Charlie'd come near you, your fears died quickly when you realized that Charlie and Dick were in a deep conversation.

You turned Jason and said "So... It was pointless to drag you here tonight. I'm sorry."

She's not bringing up punch thing. She doesn't wanna know about my feelings for her. If she ever know she'll have to... Jason felt huge pain in his heart. Stop feeling Jason. Let her go her way. It's right thing to do.

"Jason? You listening?"

"I'm sorry about tonight. I didn't think Dick would show up and..." he was looking at you to find a hint about a reaction for Dick's words.

"Jason can we talk?"

"We're talking already."

"Uhm... In private."

"Sure." It's over. She's gonna say she only ever saw you as a friend and what you did? Felt in love... I just lost my best friend stupid heart! It's all your fault!

You both stepped out of restaurant. Weather was cold. Like really cold you almost wanted to go back inside.

"Jason--"

"Y/N... I'm sorry about Dick. He was lying. I swear I didn't do whatever he said." But you did stupid boy. If you really wouldn't be so stupid to talk about her with Dick everything could go back to normal. What've you done?

"I might be in love with you." you said in one blow.

What did she say? Damn my imagination! Did she just say... she's... in love?

He thinks you're an idiot. God! Why am I like that? Did I just lose him? Talk to me boy! Damn it!

"I'm sorry if--"

That was the best interruption you ever felt. He's kissing me right? I'm not imagining this? We're kissing! Shit! He's kissing me!!

His hands were caressing your cheeks. It was warm. His lips were warm. His hands were warm. Everything around you started to feel warm. I'm burning. God, it's so good! I'm burning in the middle of fall.

Kiss was sweet. Wasn't spiciest kiss ever. It was just sweet. But it was everything good in the world. Everything purely good in this chaos pit.

I'm kissing the woman of my life. Why did I wait that long? God it's so good. She's so warm. She's awasome. Her lips taste like sweetiest dessert ever.

After you parted both of you were still feeling same warm wave around you.

"Jason..."

"Tell me the truth, am I the reason you guys finally become a thing?" Dick was leaning restaurant's front door. "Well then. I can forgive you punching me brother."

You all laughed at that. You felt your right hand got warmer. You didn't even look at it. You knew Jason was holding your hand like he must to as breathing.

"Are you clingy-kind of boyfriend?" you asked teasingly.

"Well after waiting for that moment to come at least months no one can seperate me from you." he teased back.

"Then drinks are on me!! Yay!!" Dick said.

hii, i've put together a rough transcript of things Mosbank said in the LoveCast interview, please go watch it, everyone was sweet and lovely, but maybe it'll be useful for some

for Mos - Mangkorn was closer to him, much easier to portray, and Sun is 30yrs old and so he has to look and act more mature (in Paris Bank said that he thinks Mos will do well because many things Sun does for Lin, Mos does for Bank)

Mos' real name is Modt, it turned to Mos because of his grandparents pronouncing the name with different accent - then Bank helped him with Moslhong

while modeling - Bank disliked dressing up just for jobs, he didn't feel like he had his own identity, now he wants to be himself

they've been taking dancing classes and Bank said he grew up with 1D

chemistry game - they nailed it

the future in 3 words - Bank 'thank you, sorry, see you soon' and Mos 'grown up, developed, six-packs'

*Ango & sensuality / sex.

One aspect of my muses' lives that I don't talk about nearly enough but which I think is very intriguing to analyze is actually my muses' sensuality, especially in cases where my muses have unorthodox personalities or beliefs, such as Ango:

Some of you may have already noticed, but Ango answered "it depends" to every single one of the asks from this meme, even though most of them were accompanied by a "not likely", "no" or "unsure". The reason for this is the same reason for most of what Ango does or has done - namely, his job. While Ango himself, as an individual, is much more if not entirely on the romantic side (the type of man who wants to develop a deep connection with the other person first before ever considering sleeping with them), the government agent Ango has little to no qualms about using everything he has at his disposal to ensure that a mission is successful, including his body.

Ango, on a personal level, has a number of standards or "types" he looks for that rarely anyone he's met thus far has managed to fit, and this is why he said it's "not likely" to have sex with pretty much everyone who sent in an ask. It's not likely for him to sleep with them if you ask the everyday him. Those are his real feelings on the matter, and if asked or prodded to sleep with someone in a scenario where the government has no secondary motive in mind for them, Ango won't hesitate to politely turn them down without even blinking an eye.

Ango on a professional level however, doesn't care about who it is that he "has" to sleep with, as long as by doing so he can bring the mission closer to success; be it through gaining the other person's trust, learning new info/being privy to a new network or catching them in a vulnerable moment that couldn't have been achieved otherwise. This obviously isn't his go-to method, and he'd still much rather do everything he can through non-physical means, but he isn't at all against utilizing this tactic if he realizes it'll be more likely to help him reach his/the government's goal than its counterparts. He frankly has no guilt over this either, and will never say that he regrets any of it - to him, this is just yet another side of ensuring his goals, just as lying and going behind other people's backs in other areas is. That's why he added "it depends" to everyone, because normally he wouldn't consider sleeping with them - but if a mission ever calls for it, he would consider it a possibility/course of action.

Looking at Ango through the lens of this particular topic is actually so interesting because in everyday life he's on the timid side as well as more prone to blushing/fast heartbeats. He values every second of it, and because of that he's VERY unlikely to sleep with someone he doesn't have strong feelings for/someone he isn't dating or marrying. However, agent Ango has absolutely no shame in sleeping with targets, and he's doing a really good job at it too - he can fake being meek or embarrassed if he figures that's what they're more into, but generally he knows how to be perfectly seductive as well, and anyone who'd be able to see him in both instances would feel strong whiplash at comparing the "everyday" Ango with the "agent" Ango side by side.

General tips for disabled and/or neurodivergent people getting tattoos (of all support need levels):

Under the cut:

Do your research: There are some shops nowadays that are run by neurodivergent or disabled folks and/or cater to neurodivergent/disabled folks, and those would be my first choice to scope out for a tattoo consultation. Otherwise I would go to a place/artist who was recommended by a friend or member of the local community. Check out online reviews too and social media comments to find the person you feel most comfortable reaching out to. You will be communicating with this person a lot because they're giving you something that will last a lifetime.

*Note: "friend" here means friend, significant other, partner, parent, sibling, or attendant/assistant/caregiver. You have to be 18 in most of the United States to get a tattoo.

*Also I can only speak for myself and my own experiences!

Be prepared for an in-person consult, and be ready to ask about any accommodations you would need during the appointment, including your preferred communication style. Tattoo artists usually don't do online consults which can be scary, I've called off a few on bad days. (They understand, your job is to be communicative!) Don't let that stop you or a friend from making an appointment for you.

Be prepared to answer questions from the artist on your comfort levels and communication needs and do not be shy, you're trying to see whether you'll be paying them for an important service. During the consultation, they will ask you questions about your design, colors, size, and the location of the tattoo.

You don't have to come with a totally clear idea in mind, they can help you get creative. Reference photos and printouts do help for ideas. But make sure you or a friend also have a list of questions beforehand if you think of any. And don't be afraid to reach out to the artist before the consult or appointment if you have questions. If they're cool they'll want to help you feel comfortable. During the session, tattoo artists will take breaks based on your comfort level (I've seen neurotypical people take breaks every 15 minutes) so don't feel bad about bringing that up if you anticipate that, no matter the body part.

Make sure to bring a friend, a phone/typing/AAC device or a pen/paper to the consult to ensure clear communication. I usually communicate over email and typing on my phone and I've only had issues with one artist who was inexperienced and we didn't go through with the tattoo. Also be sure to get a ride there and back! Getting a tattoo is tiring, you will not want to drive after if usually drive. Taking public transportation is difficult with executive function issues which will usually feel intense after a tattoo session, it can be very tiring.

Start small with your first design or session. Not that you shouldn't go all out, I say heck yeah to that! But that way, you'll know how it feels in that area of your body and you can plan it better. You don't want to plan a 4 hour session that feels unbearable after half the tattoo 2 hours in. That feeling sucks.

A good artist will also tell you "no" if they think something won't look good or be too difficult to take care of for your body, tattoo location, or skin type, or if they think that a certain body part is a bad idea. They're there to work with you and give you something you'll be happy with forever. This is another reason for the consult before the appointment, you can get to know the artist a little bit. If you feel uncomfortable with them or if you feel like they are judging you, consults are usually free or low cost, or the money goes toward the tattoo, you don't have to go through with the actual first session. It'll be like you're discussing and interviewing each other. You'll also want to start small to gauge pricing so you don't get surprised!

For the appointment, get ready for a weird type of pain that feels different in every part of the body. Everyone is different when it comes to this, and everyone has different tolerance levels. This is why you should start small in one area to make sure you're comfortable with doing more. It feels like someone is scratching you in the same spot over and over until you bleed, because that's pretty much what's happening.

Bring snacks and water to the appointment and eat plenty beforehand. This is important so you don't get dizzy. Drink plenty of water and never be afraid to ask for hydration or snack breaks. Usually the shop will be able to provide water if you forget some. Getting a tattoo sometimes isn't very painful, but it still takes a toll on your body, which is constantly trying to produce numbing chemicals for your wound.

Be prepared to spend several hours trying to stay still. I recommend bringing stim toys or a friend who can help keep you relaxed. Even tiny tattoos take an hour with final discussion and price discussion, placement, and then they clean the room/chair, and prepare the ink and fresh needles for you. Your body in general will need to be as still as possible for your tattoo's benefit and the artist's. The artist also needs to feel safe doing the tattoo too, it's their job to give you something that'll last forever and they want to make sure they do a good job so you need to stay as relaxed as possible. If you need a brace that doesn't interfere with the tattoo area, do it. Also, you can usually listen to headphones if you want or you can request music. Or you can have a friend bring a tablet so you can watch Netflix (I may have done that for a Star Wars vibe.)

Watch what meds or supplements you take before the appointment. Some medicines and natural substances can make your blood thinner, give you high blood pressure, or make you feel pain differently. You have to sign a waiver before you get it done that says you're not under the influence, but make sure to research your meds effects and side effects to make sure it won't make you unalert, dizzy, or otherwise uncomfortable. You want this to be as painless as possible, it's a cool experience and a necessary evil for the cool forever art, you want it to be a good time. 😉

Be prepared for bleeding, clear fluid, and scabbing. Proper after care is crucial for it . I was surprised by how much aftercare was involved in a tattoo, even though the artist had gone over this with me. Usually you'll need to follow a strict bandage and lotion (sometimes) regimen that your tattoo artist will prescribe. You and your friend's job is to take good care of it. They can take a month or two to heal completely, and you have to keep it dry. You also can't put it in direct sunlight so watch out during summer, and you cannot let it rub up against tight clothing, a chair/cushion, or a brace. If your immune system is a bit slower at healing, prepare for up to 4-6 months until the whole thing is healed over. Be mindful of this when planning and be open about it with your tattoo artist for the best results.

Don't be afraid to reach back out after your appointment. You or a friend can send an email to the shop or call the shop if you have a question for the artist. The tattoo artist or a receptionist or manager will provide aftercare help or direct you to their safety tips on their website. Sometimes people have reactions to the ink in the form of heavy scabbing, scarring, or hives. Don't be afraid to ask. If there are any signs of infection at all, you and/or your friend need to call the shop and the doctor as soon as possible. The shop can tell you what's normal, the doctor can tell you if your infection needs treatment. (It is normal for all this to happen even if you do everything right.) And they artists are there to help you, that's what you're paying them for.

Make sure that you and your friends tip well if you can. Especially if the artist is patient and understanding and open and communicative. It's important! It's even more of a compliment to be a repeat customer. If you find someone you like working with, cherish them forever. Give them nice reviews online too, it lets us in the community doing our research know it's a neurodivergent/disability friendly place.

A week ago, I posed a writing update. Unfortunately, I was unable to post part 9 of Starless Lovers, but I was able to post Reapers Fall: Ready to Comply pt2. However, in that time, I have received some very rude asks, both on and off anon, so I would just like to address them all together rather than answer them individually.

I have a life outside of dumblr and writing. A new job, where my responsibilities have changed daily and I'm basically doing others work because they won't do it. And when I get home, I'm exhausted. On top of that, my laptop is broken. I can still use it, but I can't be on it for long and it can't be overworked otherwise it'll slow down, overheat and shut down.

In the past week, I have received in the nicest way I can say it, entitled assholes demanding an update or calling me various names due to my incapability of writing and posting. I feel bad for saying I'm gonna post and then not posting. I feel horrible. So please, don't send messages or asks that are rude and uncalled for. I don't like to see the notification thinking it's something nice and it turns out to be assholes.

So please, please, understand and respect that you are not entitled to my stories that I am sharing with you all for free. The best way to get an update is to be nice and encouraging, not being a asshole and putting me down in hopes of getting what you want.

I can't exactly change my thinking overnight but I have developed some techniques I would love to share.

First, 9w1s usually go along with other people. Offer helps to readily, or agreed to go along to quickly. Then we will feel resentful because we actually don't want to do it, or physically can't do it. Maybe it's because it goes against our agenda or because we have too much on our hands. But we will feel like we have to do it because it's our 'duty' or 'obligation'. Then we'll feel stressful and end up being passive aggressive.

So, instead of readily replying 'of course!' I ask 'what kind of help?' or 'where to?' that will force us to slow down. It'll also force them to not gloss over us as well. Then if what they demand clash with ours, refuse and don't bend. People will lean on you to make you cave or throw tantrum. But you have to dig in your heels and stand firm. Although make sure that it is something worthwhile. Not like 'I don't feel like it, leave me alone' but with logical reason 'I can't add this job on my list, otherwise I won't get anything done'. This way people will hound you less.

I did this and it worked surprisingly well. Even with my 8w9 boss.

When you feel like you don't want to exert any energy, just get your butt up and do it. It's gonna be hard but you'll feel better when you actually do it. We tend to think of something as taking too much effort/energy/hassle but in reality, it's not. My friend told me to come visit him. My first thought was 'no, too far' then I remembered that it's like 30 minutes from my home at best. Possibly even less. So, why not? When I work on a job too. I feel anxiety about the task (It's too big for me!) but when I do it, it's not a big deal.

When someone demands you to answer something, just tell them the truth. Unfiltered truth. My aunt is another 8w9 so she is intense. She asks me why do I go to the office (we are wfh at the moment). I wanted to push it to my boss telling me to come, but reality is I came here on my own volition. So I told her that, even if she will get mad. It's a way to take up space. People won't hate you for just asserting yourself. But they will hate you if you are being passive aggressive. They will hate you if you doorslam them for no reasons. So I try to do this. I still fear the resultant dramas, a lot. But it doesn't really happen. Like, with my boss. He just said, "ok, cool" with my aunt, she just "well, in that case don't bring Covid home"

It's a good thing I have lots of 8s around me. I just adopt some of their tactics (stand their ground and pressure) and it works. I'm also pretty lucky that most 8s around me are actually pretty healthy or have integrated to be healthy. (My boss, my aunt and mother all have strong 2-integration). Otherwise, my life is gonna be much tougher.

I just realize that ESFJ 8w7 sp/so is possible combination. My mother is one (in the past she struggles with aggression and overreaction) but she has mellowed down a lot and shows 2-integration. Instead of the very reactive, selfish and unstable she became a lot more like healthy 2. At least to her people.

I'd like to think about the concept of this allegory.

History teacher: Perhaps reading this book will change your attitude to knowledge and truth's concept.

Makoto: ! (Hm... it sounds like it can be useful? But not now, not now, man...)

What Shape Does Your Pain Take?

Ghosts

Your pain takes the shape of ghosts, haunting you, always there. No one would believe you if you told them, or understand even if they did. You don't know how to make them go away, or what they want. They just follow you, casting shadows over all you do, being your fears and the embodiment of all you've lost or are afraid of losing. They can't touch you though... Can they?

Due to the number of questions in the comments about what to do about your answer, I've added some strategies that might be helpful on each answer!

Find a way to make peace with your ghosts. They want something, whether that's to be remembered or to help you avoid a problem, but they're going about it the wrong way. A lot of people mentioned their ghost being a friend or family member who left in some way, who seems to haunt the present with their absence or guilt of some variety. Others mentioned anxiety that wouldn't leave them alone. For a lost person, try having a goodbye ceremony that's personal to you, whatever you see fit, and no matter how long ago the person left or whether they're still alive. Then try to envision the life you want to have, just you, no other people included for the time being, like your dream job, house, happiness level, etc. Now think... Wouldn't that person want you to have that? Would they want to be the thing stopping you from the life you want? If the answer is yes, they would want that for you, then you should do it both for them and for yourself. If no, they wouldn't want that, are they worth spending your limited lifetime on? Is it worth jeopardizing your future and happiness for someone who doesn't want you to live your best life?

For anxiety... Find the root. Anxiety is irrational, but it stems from somewhere in life. For me it was a stressful home life that led to worrying about everything from money to loud noises to even having outside activities. And I can't control the anxiety impulses, but I can take a moment to acknowledge them when they happen and be like "Hey, you're here to protect me because in the past making this purchase would lead to someone yelling at me, but things are different now and it's okay. Maybe get teased about it the next day. Best thing that can happen? It all goes smoothly and I get to feel good about myself. Then I like to mix the two... "I mess up and look stupid, but I get to feel good about myself for going up and doing something scary." It's a healthier mindset and helps me to do things I might not otherwise do.

Flowers

You can't help but see what you don't have in the beautiful thing, can't help but feel pain as you see what you're missing out on. Maybe you even wish that you could just be happy and surround yourself in flowers, but you can't, because each time you see them it's like a reminder of the empty hole you carry. They say that pain is beauty... Right?

It sounds cliche, but it has its merit. Write down things you're thankful for, however many you want but probably at least ten would be best. Spend some time being thankful for what you do have, even if it's something small like "It's really cool that I happen to have my favorite pillow." Once you've done that, think about what you want to have that you're jealous when you see other people with it. A relationship? A certain job? Whatever it is, look at why you want it. Do you think it'll make you happy? Prove something to someone? Make life easier? Then think... Will it really, 100% chance, make what I hope to happen happen? If the answer is yes, then what can you do to get whatever the goal is? There's always something, and it might not be easy, but where there's a will there's a way and you can do this. If the answer is no, then look for other ways to get what you want. If you want to be happy and realize that there's not a 100% chance that a relationship would make you truly happy, then what else can you do to be happy? Pick up a new hobby, practice self-care, think more about what blessings you have, or whatever else you think might work.

Bonus: When you see someone and automatically go to jealousy or sadness at what you don't have, try to recognize it and turn that around. I like to even exaggerate it a lot. Like when I see a really fit person and start to be insecure about my body, I try to internally hype up the person and be really happy for them. "Dang girl! You're so thin and muscular, that's impressive. Must've taken a lot of work, I'm so proud of you for putting all that effort and dedication in!!"

A picture. A single image reminding you of someone or something you've lost, something you don't want to live without. You can't seem to move on, to accept life has changed, to live again. You're trapped in the picture, in the past.

Maybe this was a lost family member or friend, maybe this was a sickness that isn't going away, maybe this was sinking into depression. But you can't help but remember how life was before, how life after will never be the same, and can't help but feel that nothing in the future will be able to fill the hole the past left. Nothing lasts forever... Right?

Think about the future... What do you want it to be? What can you realistically have in the future? Make a plan, whatever job, in whatever place you want, what kind of style you want to have, who you want to be known as... And then think, how can you get there?

The biggest thing you need to do is let go of the past, and think about what kind of future you want. You can keep bits of the past, but if you try to live in the past then you'll end up living nowhere. Grow into the new you, and shape that into the best version of you. It's a little harsh, but the past is gone and there's nothing you can do to bring it back. And even if you could, you've changed, and you wouldn't enjoy it the same way. It would feel constricting, like you're stuck with no growing room, and you would just end up leaving it again. Enjoy the present while it's here, prepare for the future, and get yourself excited about what's to come.

Also, start new activities. Building outside of the picture frame helps you to escape the picture. Meet new people, try something new, travel somewhere, do something dumb for the heck of it, just move outside the box. It becomes easier with time.

just heard news of the Wilds cancellation :( i’m truly devastated, and i found this to be really unexpected. i honestly thought we were getting a renewal. What are your thoughts on it? also, please tell us you’ll still write for leatin and create new fics regardless of the cancellation! that will be the only thing to keep me going; leatin fics

While I started answering this ask, another came through that I'm just gonna tack on here so I don't have to write two different things:

My friend texted it to me and I was like well there's the excuse I was looking for to drink tonight lmao. I'm not sure I have coherent, fully formed thoughts yet, but I'll try. I'm surprised but like...I'm also not? I was shocked for 10 seconds and then I was like ah well the fandom seemed to hate s2 anyway. Which is unfortunate because I enjoyed it, and this show had a lot of potential. To me, this means Leatin is canon and no one can take that from me now by forcing a hetero relationship down my throat.

I can't wait to see what Sarah and Sophia do next (and all the girls, of course, and I wanna know wtf is up with minicarlos). I'm sure they've all got bright futures, and I'm excited for that.

To be completely honest, I've been drifting away from writing fic. I've been editing and uploading what I have ready to go, but I'm about to start a new job. I feel like some of the pressure I've put on myself to write a ridiculous amount is gone now, and we'll see what happens.

Today I've been editing the fic slated to go out after the Star Wars AU wraps up, and that fic, for me, will fill the slot that canon takes up in my brain. Because now it'll be fully canon compliant. I'm fully in charge of Leatin's destiny now, and canon cannot tell me otherwise.

I think that's all I've got for now. Might have to sit with this for a bit, but if anyone wants to share thoughts with me, I'd be happy to hear them. I'm not on fandom Twitter personally, so I have almost no clue what's going on

So, I've started my little star comic! What's next? Well, I dunno! At most, I'll probably work on the comic when I can. To be honest, I don't know how often I'll be able to work on it because as of typing this I'm a senior in high-school, getting ready to graduate, then go to college this fall, and hopefully get a job and move out sometime. Hoping to whatever is holy I can move out when I'm still 18 ToT.

As for any other comics I'll work on, they're a possibility. So far, Little Star is my priority, and if I do start anything it'll probably be short or be revolved around my OCs exclusively.

Hi! I just wanted to get something off my chest, if that's alright? (You don't have to answer, I just need to tell someone who's unbiased)

So I took a couple weeks off of work for my mental health and those two weeks lined up with the pay period. I did the math wrong, thinking that one week was in one pay period and the other in the next pay period but turns out they were in the same one. So I didn't get paid today.

My gf is super understanding and everything, but I feel so bad. Like, we're going on a cruise next week. We'll be on the ship this time next Friday (our daughter will be in Bibbity Boppity Boutique and I'm so excited for that). I was planning on using this paycheck to pay the bills we needed to and have some extra cash on hand just in case, but I couldn't even do that.

I know that my gf doesn't mind helping out (we do it to each other all the time) but still. I feel like I shouldn't have taken the break and just powered through it, but she says otherwise. I feel even more stressed than I was. I've apologized multiple times and I feel so, so bad. I know partners help each other and I'm so grateful for her, but it feels like this put a strain on our relationship.

Do you think it'll be okay? I'm working again and I'm getting a new job after our trip so that'll help with the money situation. I just feel so bad about everything right now.

Everything will be okay. I know it's instinct to just beat yourself up when things go wrong, but please don't do that. It doesn't matter that you might not be able to buy every trinket that you come across or that money is a little tighter than normal - your gf stated that she understands and is okay.

Question - if you hadn't taken that break for your mental health, what state would you be in right now? Would you be able to fully enjoy the cruise that you are taking next week (HAVE A BLAST BTW - I LOVE CRUISING) ORRRRRRRRRRR would it be a situation where you are putting on a happy face and still dealing with the reasons for the break in the first place? I'm sure your partner wants you there and present for your family vacation.

The fact is that we are human. We fuck up and do math wrong and calculate the weird fucking pay scales incorrectly sometimes. That's just what it is sometimes. The fact that you are so upset about it says a great deal about your character. Not every vacation needs to have a grand amount of money tossed at it to be a great time. The memories you are creating are going to be far more valuable in a few years when the toy is outgrown. (Although - we always get a Christmas ornament on the ship or in ports of call. That's our thing. We like reminiscing while we unbox them and put them on our tree)

I can tell you our kids don't remember shit about what we bought them or the money we spent on the cruises they went on with us. (2015, 2019) But they remember the days spent together.

Like any relationship, there will be times where you are the pillar of support and others where your gf is. The best thing that you can do is remember that communication is key and it seems like the two of you are doing that.

You are working now, and obviously work hard when you come back from your vacay to find a new job - but don't let this worry hang over your head and spoil the trip for you. It will be okay. 🤍❤️🤍❤️
