it is so personal to me that in cooperative polygraphy Pierce gives everyone something aside from the "obligatory sperm" except for Abed and I'll never not be mad about it,,,

because Abed always views himself as an outsider looking in, as a fly on the wall (even tho he's too awesome for it) and just,,, that moment sort of cements it you know??

and then Pierce even dead has the motherfucking audacity to technically separate him from Troy, who's one of the few people who understands him so fundamentally and can actually keep up with him (he's still on the top of the fucking list i don't care)

(and i get that it was never about Abed when Pierce left his shares for Troy but that's the lens I'm seeing it from and I'll never not blame him for troy no longer being an active part of the series moving forward and i hate him.)

What occupies my mind the most when it comes to Hannibal, alike many others, is the things we didn't get to see. Hannibal rescuing Will from getting his pretty face swapped, for example, isn't the only thing that comes to mind. No, it's the bonding moments between the two in their little sessions! Like, I NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS! Of course, we do see them chit-chatting about murder cases, motives, behaviors, metaphors, and yada yada yada, but we've all seen that already and appreciated it. I mean the other sessions that aren't strictly plot-relevant, sessions where they are simply bonding over their similarities and dissimilarities, a drink or two by the fireplace, and both of them understand a moment in themselves that they haven't been so intellectually stimulated like this before. Even in comfortable silence. Just those small internal moments of, "Wow, he actually understands what I'm talking about," or, "Huh, I don't think I've ever met anyone who surprises me," and, "Hell, this is actually interesting". Even those thrilling moments, however small, where there's some innocent miscommunication and they have to explain themselves to a subconsciously eager listener and realize they enjoy being heard, accepted, or challenged. I would've loved to see them being friendly-- sassy, arrogant, kind, and snappy like good friends do in seemingly insignificant instances. Bonding over agreements and disagreements; Feeling stimulated just by an interesting conversation and comfortable company. I often find myself imagining them in a scenario where they talk about the time they had shared the road with a rude lady that drove recklessly around them and threw curses and honks their way. Will and Hannibal warmly laugh and joke about the situation over excellent food, and it feels like it goes on forever. With reciprocated smiles and laughter when Will teases Hannibal about the look he gave her as she drove past and Hannibal matches that energy tenfold, and vice versa. Where they aren't a patient and doctor, killer and agent; Where they are simply two inhuman human beings-- two men-- sipping coffee, eating, and laughing.

wow guys, i cant believe the player character from hit mascot horror game Poppy Playtime actually saved all monsters, killed the Prototype and left with their newfound family! cant wait to see how the authorities will react to this weird family that just formed!

i genuinely love the first episode of community so fucking much because it's everything that could've been but was not yk?? like you can tell what it was supposed to be,,, you can tell the relationships that were supposed to be central to the whole thingy,,,like Britta was smart but just passive (in a weird way,,, i still think they did her character dirty by dumbing her down like season 1 Britta and the ones after that are so different and you can't change my mind about it and it's not even about negative or positive growth) and Troy and Pierce were supposed to be the comedic beloved-ish duo rather than Abed and Troy,,, and they were not doing the weird Annie and Jeff thingy at that point (jeffannie makes no sense and I can't believe it's actually canon-ish because while there is a big age gap , the way their dynamic is shaped also feels very age centric wherein Annie constantly feels infantilised and Jeff has all the power) and the way dean pelton is a distant figure who's scatterbrained but trying to make best of the situation but still somehow making blunders (which is precisely why he's such a big part of community tbf because while he might not be a student, he's as much of a part of the community of people trying to function as people) (also will never not love his speech) and the way Abed and movies were always supposed to go together and to some extent the way Jeff and to a lesser extent Britta were supposed to be his entry into the group understanding him and the way he and his brain functions and embracing him and how Pierce was supposed to be just too out of touch of the present (because he'd grown up in a different time nad age and was unable to embrace the change that followed) and the way Shirley was supposed to be limited in a way to her character as a mother with anger issues and be very restrained with the group in a manner of speaking (i don't think I'm explaining it well but eh)

but then it formed, it breathed life into itself in the form that it took a life of its own, as if it doesn't really matter what it was supposed to be rather what it ended up being,,, and I understand that this is the way that shows work and the way plotlines and story arcs bring characters to different point in their lives but it feels different here (for me at least because this is the first time I've been able to look at a show in the way it was supposed to be and the way it ended up being and still love it so completely)

also it's very weird not hearing the community theme song in the first episode and just hearing bg music and I can't-

(also also I understand that there are things that it could have handled better but as a show I will never not love community and rave about it and love it with all my heart)

regardless I will always love this episode so much because If nothing else,, it is what started everything else :))

ngl one of the most useful things i’ve internalized from doing art online is never tell people what to criticize. don’t preemptively apologize for things or point out where you think you fumbled, it’s just priming people to notice minor issues that might not actually matter and hit you where you’re sensitive and throw you off your game. don’t tell people your weak points. if it’s a genuine problem they’ll point it out

To be completely honest I still prefer the original manga Farcille reunion over the anime scene. I think Trigger did a good job adapting this page, but no one draws Marcille bawling her eyes out as well as Ryoko Kui, it just gets to me. Just look at her face... She missed Falin so much! She almost looks like a child crying..
