🚨 BREAKING: HM KING MUHAMMAD HAS DIED. 1st January, 2023.
Heartbreaking news has been reported this morning as Heliopolis Palace have confirmed that HM King Muhammad passed away in hospital in the early hours.
It came after the King Muhammad was admitted to a private hospital following a fall on Christmas morning, however the King was said to be recovering well.
A cause of death has yet to be revealed, but Heliopolis Palace have released this statement:
It is with great sadness that we can confirm His Majesty King Muhammad has died at a private hospital in the early hours of this morning. The King served the people of Egypt for almost three decades, and will be greatly missed. A statement from His Majesty King Amon will be publicised in due course.
a timeline of the next week bc i don’t want to post ten million a week:
01/01: news breaks about the death of the king, circumstances unkown.
02/01: 40 days of mourning begins as does the investigation, port-mortem is underway. foul play hasn’t be ruled out.
06/01: post-mortem concludes that the death of the king was caused by a fatal air embolism which lead to a heart attack. the ongoing investigation confirms this as evidence of foul play, and the investigation of the king’s death turns into an investigation of the murder of the king.

31 October 2022. BREAKING NEWS: KING CIAN HAS DIED IN DUBLIN, CAUSE UNKNOWN.
This afternoon, it was announced that King Cian of Ireland had died at his home in Dublin Castle. After weeks of reported illness, the late King’s doctors announced that he succumbed to his illness in the early morning. His wife, Queen Abaigeal, and their children, Crown Prince Michael and Princess Aisling, were at his side.
The cause of death has yet to need been announced.
Queen Abaigeal is expected to take the regency until December 3rd, when Crown Prince Michael turns 35 and can assume the throne.
In a statement, the Queen wrote: “I think everyone for their kind words of support at the loss of my husband, and I speak for the whole family when I say that we grieve with the Irish people for the loss of our King and leader.”
In a statement put out by the prince’s new office in Dublin Castle, his highness wrote:
“Words can express my feelings about my father’s passing, and I can only imagine what the Irish people feel. I know that this is a time of mourning and transition. I stand with you, my people and friend, at this challenging time as I know you stand with me.
It is the greatest honour of my life to serve you as your king, and I only wish that the lot of princes were not to lose their fathers to gain their throne.”

his grandmother, as always, is radiant. there is not a single hair out of place, even when she’s waving away the nurse that’s helping her sit up when art enters the room. the only thing unnatural here is the old woman’s state, and it keeps any belief in her strength at bay.
she knows. they all know. none of them will talk about it.
art won’t be the one to, at least. everyone else had come to see her. his cousin had lost faith in what they were trying to do -- keeping the people happy, keeping them celebratory, all while the family was already grieving someone they hadn’t lost just yet -- and had decided to return to the closed doors of his home and wait until he was called upon for something closer to the truth.
no one wanted to talk about it.
“ay, look at the state of you,” she berates immediately, hand extended to receive his. he doesn’t need much more than that. “that marisol doesn’t feed you well, does she? i tell you -- she needs to pay greater attention to your needs, mi cielito.”
art wouldn’t correct her, of course. his jaw was locked with truth. instead, he squeezed her hand just a tad tighter, and only for the briefest of moments, before he put his other hand on top of hers. he could feel the carpal bones just pushing under her skin. she’d grown so thin. “is there -- is there anything i can do for you?” this was the first woman who’d shown him family. hard as she tried, of course, the lesson was very nearly lost on arthur. “ ‘lita, there must be something. we’re -- we can delay the wedding.”
“and ruin your plans?” and she still had the energy to mock him! if it were anyone else, art would have laughed to entertain them. “no, you know there isn’t. even if there was, you would not let that stop you. just like your mother.” it came out as a sigh. unlike everyone else in the family, she said it like a compliment. a laudable trait, his grandmother must have thought, to die rather than to turn back, and had it been for anything else, art’s mother would have been welcomed into the family much sooner.“and just like her, you will not settle. this is not your nature as well, cielito. you do not settle.”
-- but he would! he would, to make her happy. she’d been demanding grandchildren, he balked once when she called him out on it. she and grandfather, and everyone else in court who agreed that an heir was imperative! why wouldn’t he rush? why wouldn’t he settle?
“grandmother.” he wished his tone weren’t so harsh with the old woman. it kept the truth between his teeth. “enough. isn’t it enough that i am married? i’ve done everything you asked. what i want,” he insisted, like a petulant child, “is for you to see the fruits of the tree i’ve planted.“
“dios mio, do not make a fool of a dying woman. it’s unbecoming.”
that kept his mouth shut even tighter. she might as well have slapped him.
“oh, oh, arthur, come now...” how could she still sit up for this long? she held onto his hand as if it kept her up; and still, without the same ferocity, she cupped his cheek and kissed his forehead: a blessing. “you are your mother’s son. do not refuse yourself. do not betray her. do not betray me.”
this was one ghost saying it to another. arthur was a placeholder -- he knew that, coming here -- and even more so now to the ailing woman in bed. she’d seen two too many of her children die in her lifetime; only one of these children had a surviving child, and the spitting image of his mother. he supposed this was why his grandfather was tolerant of him, his grandmother sweet on him. they lay a crown at his feet instead of a wreath; doused him in affection instead of saying a prayer; kept him safe and busy, happy enough, content enough so they didn’t have to light a candle.
ana de iturbide might as well have been alive as long as arthur lived under their roof. what could he do but gorge himself on the crumbs of a childhood he did not have? delude himself of his mother’s character? art had to tell himself that her memory was pure enough that he had to live up to it, somehow, with his short-lived sobriety and his attempts at being the good, godly grandson.
she was a mess. so was he
-- and the empress of mexico just told him to keep being one.
as if she knew he’d understood, she patted his cheek once, twice, and moved to lay back down. the attending nurses immediately moved to the other side to help her. this time, she did not wave them away. art still held her dismissive hand.
“mi cielito,” came the groaned-out wheeze, the light breath, the slight laugh, “don’t look so grim. i’ll be alive for some time yet. and even if i don’t, i’ve left instructions with your grandfather,” as if he didn’t control an entire empire! as if the man was some soft servant who’d do anything for her, even beyond the grave! “he will not make the same mistakes we made. you understand?”
freedom. she was giving him freedom, or a chance at it. his throat felt thick with the cloying insistence of a dead woman’s wish. he opened his mouth to retort; tell her that love does not last like that, and that his grandfather would abandon him if he let the man down again -- but he spared his grandmother the mercy.
instead, he told her a story --
and, when she fell asleep, he stayed a few more seconds to make sure she was still breathing.

Today, the Minister of State for the Environment and HIH Princess Helena, with HIH Prince Miguel and Admiral Oliviera, held a press conference in Palácio do Planalto to outline the progress of its management of the recent oil spill incident.
The oil spill was first discovered in Pernambuco, early this year, and eventually spread to several states in the northeast of brazil, affecting a large strip of the region's coast.
During the press conference, the panel spoke about the efforts and investments put to clean the coast, and thanking the environmental groups, volunteers and troops that worked alongside in the past months to recovery tons of crude since the sludge began appearing on beaches.
It can be recalled that, when asked about the responsibility for the spill and the damages it caused, Ibama President said an analysis by Ibama, the country's environmental agency, showed the oil did not come from Brazil and had proved the crude oil was produced in Venezuela but officials are yet to identify the vessel responsible for the leak. Investigations into the source of the contamination are ongoing.
Venezuela, however, has denied responsibility for the oil and the investigations are still on going.

🚨 BREAKING: KING MUHAMMAD. 25th December, 2022.
The people of Egypt woke up to devastating news this morning after reports suggest that His Majesty King Muhammad was admitted to hospital late last night.
It comes after reporters spotted a private ambulance leaving Heliopolis Palace at around 23:00, where we assume the King’s injuries could not be treated by the Palace Medical Staff.
Sources close to the King have said that the admission follows His Majesty having fallen down a flight of stairs. The cause has been deemed as accidental.
The Palace is yet to release a statement regarding the subject, however we are told that the King remains in a stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery. Our thoughts are with His Majesty and the Royal Family at this time.

The office of Crown Prince HRH Arthur II released a statement this morning promising nearly 6 billion USD (over 100 trillion MXN) in the construction and revitalisation of the regional railway system, and the betterment of the state-owned freight railway. Both systems will span between EL Paso and Selina Cruz, with future plans to connect it to Tren Maya, which loops around the edge of the Yucatán Peninsula.
Since opening manufacturing factories in the northern regions of Mexico, the Crown Prince has spearheaded reforms in the dwindling Mexican economy. While he has received public backlash from nobility and key players in the private sector, the Crown Prince continues to prove his dedication to the service of his people with the Emperor’s continued support.
When asked if there are plans to forge links between Mexico and England, a spokesperson from the Prince’s office stated that there were no such plans in the near future.
