every single day of every single week i think about that moment in i coulda been a defendant when ray complains about having to see francesca every day and having to pretend she's his sister (which he finds difficult because she's hot, is the very clear implication) and fraser just so completely fucking earnestly goes "this makes no sense, ray. all women are our sisters" like he's pleasantly trying to explain to ray how the printer works.

They play so fast and dangerous offensively. It's really apparent right off the start that they like to get going in transition, so. That was our main focus, coming to the game, is really limit their chances and limit our turnovers to allow them to go in the other way. Kudos to the whole back-end and all of our forwards, you know. Played great defense, blocking shots, and Jakey was outstanding.

what i love about the twins (miya) is that when it comes to their partners, they do not understand the concept of me before you.

and what i mean by that is, a partnership with them embodies the true meaning of us and a family unit. you become one with them. your emotions are theirs and despite them being upset, if you need consolation, it will always be you before them.

it's easy to look at them as selfish, but naturally, because they've always shared everything, they look at their partners as a true extension of themselves. atsumu's grief has never been for him to own. he knows that if he loses, the loss does not affect just him, but osamu as well.

so when it comes to emotions, the twins have never regarded their feelings as their own. everything has consequences and the direct and indirect effects are far more apparent because they have each other.

your pain is theirs. your success is theirs. you are part of who they are. and that's why it will always be you. you over him and never him over you.

#speculation nation #itnl shit #the struggle of writing a new character is conceptualizing their Voice #gotta settle those sliding scales down #i had formality scale too formal i think. hes kind of formal but in a pretentious way. not a true formality.#a little bit stilted in speech. trying to intimidate. trying to seem like hes got the upper hand always #talking down to people. like theyre lesser than him.#seemingly unflappable. at least at this point in the story. just a bastard man with a bastard plan.#im cross referencing manga dialog rn. i wrote originally with the 98 anime dub voice in mind #which has some Vibes but is less concrete #im going for concrete now. gotta finalize this fucking dialog.#once i smooth it out then i can go tie up the end of the scene #and Then i start the formal overall edit sweep for general coherency and consistency #as well as looking for any minor mistakes i couldve missed in earlier editing sweeps #aka. my usual process lol #i am just squinting angry bitch annoyance at this fuckin bastard man. trying to figure out how he talks #it's kind of difficult to figure out the minor differences due to Things and how that would actually go into effect #what they dont tell u about writing is that it is so very hard actually. god damn.

Sanji is such a fascinating character because he’s so compelling and well-written character right up until the point where he’s in a room with a woman at which point I want to kick him in the face

#Sanji’s introduction episode for me was a bit like oh wow this dude is so cool and calm and collected but has such a strong moral code #and passion for cooking he’s really compelling I love him so much (he meets Nami) oh my fucking god I’m getting second hand embarrassment #and I don’t even know who from Sanji treat women like people challenge (nami leaves) okay he’s winning me around again.
