usually don't post about non-fandom stuff on here but just wanted to take a quick moment to say that what's going on in palestine is not war, it's genocide.

what the israeli government is and has been doing to the palestinian people since its founding is disgusting, and if you support israel, do your research and don't interact with me. if you support israel, i can't see you as human because no one with a heart would support ethnic cleansing and mass murder

they've been taking more and more of their land since israel was established (originally 56% of palestine's land, now they have over 80%)

bombing hospitals (they've bombed a number of hospitals, including children's hospitals, cancer wards)

over 10,000 palestinians have died so far in this conflict. these are civillians

palestine does not have a military. israel, on the other hand, has a military with about 20 billion usd in funding every year, plus billions in aid from other countries

israel cut off energy and water for gaza. why do they have power over another country's electricity and water supply? and why this collective punishment of all palestinians for something a terrorist group did?

bombing hospitals, places of worship, and collective punishment are all war crimes and technically illegal, but most countries and journalists are turning a blind eye to that

banned chemical weapons - white fucking phosphorus - are being used in gaza on civilians

over 80% of the people in hamas are palestinians who were orphaned by israeli airstrikes. israel is the reason hamas exists.

if you are human, please try to spread awareness. many foreign journalists aren't even allowed into gaza as israel is controlling access to palestine. thousands of palestinians have died, and many governments and media sources are supporting this genocide.

the more we keep spreading the message, the more people will know, and hopefully we can help in some way.

I love jealous Bakugou who starts peacocking after a while to get all of your attention.

going to a party and Kiri carelessly picks you up to spin you during a dance, drunken laughter shared between you two. Bakugou watches on the couch the whole time, eyes slitted as he nurses the same beer he’s had all night. he listens to you giggle over the music about how strong Kiri is and—fuck it, he’ll show you strength. he takes the opportunity to scoop you off of your feet next time you guys are out and there’s a puddle in the middle of the road, puffs his chest out a little as he cradles you against him, when you let out that lighthearted giggle but for him this time.

Bakugou catches you chatting deku up, squeezing at his biceps when you tease him about how big he’s been getting. you only do it bc you know it flusters the green haired man, and you think it’s cute how he looks like a strawberry whenever you coo at him. But Bakugou only sees that as the push to go to the gym more, focusing even more on his arms, wearing all of his tanks around you. puffs his chest out again when he puts his arms behind his head and you pat at the bulging muscle and find yourself tracing the veins on his arms.

He sees you dancing with Sero at another squad gathering, something fast and sensual, your arms around his neck while he holds your waist. his face is buried into your neck and it makes you giggle whenever he whispers where to move your feet next. and does Bakugou take that as an active threat against his crush on you? of course he does. finds himself holding you against him at a party, swaying with you, way out of his comfort zone but he wants to show you that he can dance too, damnit.

Denki makes some offhanded comment about holding your bags when you go out to an amusement park, something else about going with you when you need the bathroom too. Bakugou is most definitely shoving him out of the way, manhandling all of your bags from you as he pushes you in the direction of the bathrooms instead. finds his chest practically spilling out of his shirt when you hug him by the end of the night, thanking him for being so kind, telling him that he’s the best friend you could ask for.

and does his heart drop to his ass when he hears the word friend? maybe. just a little.

the other day I was looking for the Zayn interview from a few years ago where he tells the interviewer he's going to the bathroom and then they look over and are like "oh um he's in the parking lot... oh. aaand he's getting in a car and leaving" and I found it (GQ) but on the way I ran into the interview where Vogue (who run the met gala) are like so did you like the met gala wasn't the met gala fun and he goes off for like 4 paragraphs about how much he disliked it and how it's the epitome of everything he dislikes about being a celebrity and then at the end is like oh wait shit... I mean Gigi was good though, and that was also the interview where he said he'd made his peace with there always being paps in front of his apartment when he realized that instead of doing promo he could just go out his front door for like two minutes and call it done and my point is: I know many of you are new, maybe are just here for Louis, but I need you to know HOW FUCKING FUNNY Zayn is, like genuinely he is SO FUN to follow and I just really recommend, 10/10 celeb entertainment

Amazing Burglar or Awful Security?

I was thinking about the security on the Edge and how genuinely awful it is at keeping a certain Berserker chief away. It's honestly hilarious to me because Dagur just shows up out of the blue without even trying to hide. In "Family on the Edge," he had no idea the other Riders hadn't been told about him, so there was no sneaking involved. He just strolled on in (with a ship I'm assuming since he was sans dragon at the time) and didn't get noticed until Hiccup went back home. The guy even proceeded to stay the night without any of the Night Terrors being like, "Who the heck is this dude?" and causing a scene. He shows up easily for "Gold Rush" too and makes his presence known before they see him. Then in "Searching for Oswald...and Chicken," he shows up and gets through whatever security Astrid said she set up. So...I guess it's just bad. Or he's just that good where he can consistently get on the Edge. Heck, why limit it to the Edge? He was sneaking onto Berk too when he put the Dragon Root in the arena and around Outcast island when he wanted to get the Skrill back. I'm realizing an underappreciated skill of Dagur's is stealth. He'll just be behind you (might be right now) and you won't know unless he wants you to. It's as scary as it is impressive.

you f/o holds you during the long, horrible, sleepless nights. when you feel so alone, kept awake by all the noise in your brain, they're there for you, all night long.

they're there to remind you to take your medication for it, if you have it. they help you form a healthy routine with it, they want to see you feeling better. they might even train you to have a positive association- maybe you get a kiss every time you remember?

and when you do get to sleep, and when you dream of your f/o, it'll be all the more sweet.

My parents affectionately refer to it as College Fan Syndrome (or CFS for short) bc my inability to sleep without a fan started with THEM not being able to sleep in college due to noisy roommates/neighbors so the habit started for them there. And then was passed to me. Now I too am Cursed with CFS
