A common trope that just does not have the intended effect on me at all is fucked up deer. Like, deer are just these inherently ridiculous creatures, and the more you fuck them up the more ridiculous they become. You could give them sixteen legs and a gaping maw full of pointy teeth and I’d just sit here and giggle.

I think there’s something really nice about when humans hear a ghost crying and they go to check in on them anyway. Like they don’t have to. They know it’s a ghost they know it’s scary but they check in on them anyway because they care. Just something about asking a crying ghost “are you okay?” despite your own fear
