Trick question:
Hero has a sore hock. Bute (a horse painkiller) comes in a paste form (apple flavored!) with a dosage of 1-2 grams per 500 pounds of horse. Hero weighs about 1,000 pounds. So, what is Hero's dose of bute?
Answer: The entire tube; 2-4 grams of which gets INSIDE Hero and the remainder to be smeared liberally all over: the outside of Hero, my arm, my clothes, the feed trough, and the barn door.
And while, yes, I AM exaggerating for humorous effect, it really really was a sticky and unpleasant process for all involved.

Thursdays I take two buses to work (alternate location) and if the first bus is late the connecting bus is sometimes missed.
Or in the case for this morning, the first bus was late, the second bus stop was CLOSED due to construction. The sign at that stop tells me to go to the next one, 2 full city blocks south, so I hoof it, checking over my shoulder in case the bus comes. It's foggy, damp, and not cold, so I'm sweating by the time I get to the next stop... which has a sign that I have to go to the stop 4 BLOCKS FURTHER, OVER A RIVER.
I am overweight, not super duper healthy, shitty lungs from COVID, short legs from Hobbit, tired, hungry, sweaty, AND LATE, and I have to hoof it in panic-mode craning my neck over my shoulder every 5 ft while trying to connect an extra 6 blocks this morning.
Not my best start to the day. But I have over 3300 steps today already.

Yep that's him! And honestly can't decide, theres many really horrid ones, and many really funny ones. He's been eaten, melted, reduced to a fine red mist by a train, gotten his spine ripped out, etc etc. Most of the funny ones are over text though with friends and I can't recall all of em but we meme on him a lot
If I had to choose ONE, then I've always been a fan of this image I drew. Anytime I draw someone getting eaten and someone tries to be a funnyman at me it pops into my mind like an invasive ad. Its just really good

I hate that moment when a horse who has been standing sideways to you, regarding you with one eye (as is normal), suddenly turns to face you and look at you with both eyes and a horrified expression. This post brought to you by the fact that, while I was waiting for Hero to finish his grain, I did some waist-twists to loosen my back muscles up a bit. Hero thought that was so bizarre and concerning that he left his feed, moved outside the overhang, and stood there looking at me in alarm and snorting.
I feel so JUDGED.
