Pahalgam route towards holy cave is achieved mostly within 2days time provided you reach out the check post on right time or else may even take you one more day to go. Route Map 1) First day from Chandanwari you cover Pissu Top steep 3kms climb 🤪👇🏼 Pissu top to Sheshnag will get ease of ups and down of around 9kms. Altogether 12kms with few Bhandaras for snacking and meals are covered on very first day. Mind you Sheshnag Check post closes by 2pm. So stay and enjoying the beauty of lake side view. 2) Second day move at 5am when check post gates are opened at Sheshnag and 👇🏼 Now again you are ready for steep climb to Ganesh top for 4.5kms, oh man why always trek starts with steep climb?🤪👇🏼 And we land at Wajbal where you get to have delicious snacking and meal at Bhandara 👇🏼 Well don’t stuff too much because at Poshpatri you are going to enjoy 5star varieties of Snacks and meals 😛👇🏼 Further you reach at Poshpatri with down hill ease throughout from Ganesh top to Panjtarni. But now again 3kms steep climb is waiting for you and further 3kms from Sangam top to Holy cave and here you complete your 20kms trek of the day at ease😄 Altogether two days journey is 32kms in all. Between keep enjoying the view because treks are meant to sooth your eyes and peace within yourself. Mental and physical health both are achieved with such treks. The book Rajatarangini (Book VII v.183) alludes to Amareshwara or Amarnath. It is said that once you do the holy pilgrim of amarnath you don’t have another birth they say it’s a door to moksh. But if you ask me the journey itself is a heavenly journey and once you reach the cave and see the shivling by your eyes after some 3 days climb in the cold weather and mountains you are undoubtedly gonna get emotional and cry for your achievement.

I am a person who believes in enjoying life in all situations and that’s why I have also gone ahead and made a wish list of things I wana do before I die. That list has lots of places to visit and one of the top places included amarnath yatra and kailash mansarovar. One of my close friend gautam has been visiting amarnath since 9 yrs now and I had heard loads of things about the same from him on various of our our meets at babulnath temple in Mumbai which is again a shiv ji’s famous temple. He fueled my wish all the more to visit amarnath and in my heart I always wanted to go there with him. Finally I told him to book the tickets this time but was still not sure if I would be able to go due to number of reasons.
