Pahalgam route towards holy cave is achieved mostly within 2days time provided you reach out the check post on right time or else may even take you one more day to go. Route Map 1) First day from Chandanwari you cover Pissu Top steep 3kms climb 🤪👇🏼 Pissu top to Sheshnag will get ease of ups and down of around 9kms. Altogether 12kms with few Bhandaras for snacking and meals are covered on very first day. Mind you Sheshnag Check post closes by 2pm. So stay and enjoying the beauty of lake side view. 2) Second day move at 5am when check post gates are opened at Sheshnag and 👇🏼 Now again you are ready for steep climb to Ganesh top for 4.5kms, oh man why always trek starts with steep climb?🤪👇🏼 And we land at Wajbal where you get to have delicious snacking and meal at Bhandara 👇🏼 Well don’t stuff too much because at Poshpatri you are going to enjoy 5star varieties of Snacks and meals 😛👇🏼 Further you reach at Poshpatri with down hill ease throughout from Ganesh top to Panjtarni. But now again 3kms steep climb is waiting for you and further 3kms from Sangam top to Holy cave and here you complete your 20kms trek of the day at ease😄 Altogether two days journey is 32kms in all. Between keep enjoying the view because treks are meant to sooth your eyes and peace within yourself. Mental and physical health both are achieved with such treks. Here is my one of the beautiful spot to chill while down climb towards Panjtarni after Poshpatri. Be careful of Horse as path is narrow and rough and needs you full concentration. Maa Bamleshwari Temple is located at Dongargarh in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh on a hilltop of 1600 feet.  🔸 The legend about this temple goes that around 2200 years ago, Raja Veersen, a local king, was childless and upon the suggestions of his royal priests, he performed puja to the gods. Within a year, the queen gave birth to a son whom they named Madansen. Raja Veersen considered this a blessing of Lord Shiva and Parvati and constructed a temple here. Also there is folktale that in this temple of Dongargarh, king Vikramaditya went to commit suicide but Devi Bamleshwari appeared and stopped him from doing it.  🔸 To reach to the temple, you will have to ascend around 1000 steps or else you can go for a ropeway(Udan Khatola) which costs you mere Rs. 30. It's really a good for aged people and it's a fun ride as you witness nice birdview of the surrounding city of Dongargarh and the small lake located at the base of hilltop.
