Not me unironically watching the Beverly Hillbillies after hearing Quinton's dad's lengthy talk about it...
I love Jed...
#I had never heard of this show before#because i didnt grow up in an english speaking country#and you just dont learn about old shows of other languages#but that show is actually quite sweet and funny!#well. the black and qhite episodes anyway#tried to watch a bit of the ones in color and god they are so bad#anyway I love Jed Clampett and unreasonable amount he's sooo#He's so sweet and wholesome! Many people think of Buddy Ebsen as Jed Clampett of The Beverley Hillbillies, but in his younger days he was an accomplished dancer. He arrived in New York in 1928 and worked at a soda fountain while he looked for work. He and his sister Vilma had a dance act they did in supper clubs and vaudeville. They were popularly known as the "Baby Astaires."
