"I saw you out there, fighting for your life." Kelpie hissed out. They was stalking after the women. Not knowing if she was part of the BSAA or any of the groups that were hunting them.
Jill spins on her heels to find the source of the voice addressing her, and sees someone standing before her. They look human, but not...exactly, and it's clear by their physical condition they've been through hell themselves.
She's cautious, sizing the stranger up, but not yet reaching for her weapon.
"You've been watching me," Jill observes plainly and calmly. Evidently, there are other actors at play here. She wonders if the stranger might be an undercover operative, or a B.O.W. sent to kill her by Los Illuminados, the KGB or some remnant of the Spencer family or Umbrella Corporation, but she's never seen a B.O.W. display such obvious sapience before: Typically they're uncontrollable shambling monstrosities, or soldiers programed to obey orders without question with no free will of their own.
She decides to take a chance, slowly beginning to raise her hands, but not keeping them far from her holster.
"May I ask who you are, and why you're following me?" Jill asks carefully and politely.

Such were needed for orders, after all, and their immensely high quality put a hefty price tag unto them, too. "You've saved me quite the headache."
He leans back upon his heels, raises his gaze to idly take in his company's appearance (partially in curiosity, partially in judgement of what he was wearing-) and finds his expression drawing into yet another smile;
"Maybe - - you'd let me buy you a drink as a thank you? Coffee? Or perhaps something a little stronger later on?"

you sound like my mom and that makes me so sad :( she had to give up taking care of medicare/medicaid patients bc it was little sending us into the negatives in terms of money
now she is working for a terrible hospital (80+ hours a week) that cares more ab money than her or patients (she literally cannot complain no matter how bad it gets) but its the only option bc both my sister and i are in college rn
it really does suck especially when you study and work your ass so hard.
Tell you mom she is appreciated and understood!!

my prof just explained on the syllabus that he’s included more points in the class than we needed to pass, so we could skip up like?? 20 small assignments/quizzes/participation!! and still get a very high grade!!
the idea was that we could focus on assignments that played to our strengths - only do the participation stuff if we like to talk out loud - only do the quizzes/readings if we want to do the class remotely - only do online discussions if we like to talk and share opinions but struggle with anxiety in class ect.
and that’s cool enough but then he pulled up DnD character sheets with drawings he’d done of these hypothetical student player classes and how our various accessibility needs could be gamified to ‘max out’ different aspects of the class to get high grades and like!!!!!
hell yeah!!!! let’s treat accessibility in higher education not just as a necessity but as the fun, engaging, and creative aspect of learning that it is!!! I love this!!
