guess what?
the owner of the hostel me and my gf are currently living and working in, for almost a year now, decided to threaten to throw us out…
so my gf is currently an equal partner with the owner of this hostel we live in, she does all the contability and basically runs the place by herself, while the owner is in the other side of the globe, and is not here to see the day to day things…
but the owner is not treating her as an equal partner and is being very racist and homophobic twoards us (this has been happening for a while but now things got unmanageable)…
the owner still demands things of her as if my gf was still just an employee and not an equal in the decision making of things (she started as manager but then they decided to make her partner). the thing is: she doesn’t pay any salary to my gf bc they “share the profits”
however, before the partnership, my gf had a fixed salary. in the proposal of the partnership, she was promised to make a little more money by the end of the year, when is the most demand and where we receive more guests here, so it was an amazing opportunity for us (to try and make some savings), to stay here in the slow part of the year (when there’s amost no guests), getting paid less than when she had a fixed salary. we believed we’d have a return for the months we spent here *not getting paid*
and now that the high demand of the year is getting closer, and right when we were about to start getting something in return after two months of not getting paid and having to deal with all the expenses from the hostel, having absolutely no profit in the end of those 2 months, the owner decided the partnership is “not working anymore” when the reality is that if it wasn’t for my gf, this place simply would deteriorate very fast bc it’s in the middle of the atlantic forest, and nature doesn’t wait.
she clearly doesn’t see my gf as an equal and still sees her as an employee rather than her equal partner. she’s clearly just wanting to exploit someone as long as it’s convenient to her, and now that the profits will start showing up, she doesn’t want the partnership anymore…
it’s rather sordid bc she’s clearly just trying to find anything to justify the dismantling of the partnership.
also she was supposed to pay the last salary (two months ago) to my gf and she still hasn’t
it’s ridiculous and outrageous
exploiting someone for the months when she doesn’t have money to pay a salary is very easy, but then when it comes the time to share the actual profits that’ll come, then suddenly there’s something wrong with the partnership…
it’s very suspicious to say the least…
anyways, moral of the story is: we wanna get out of here, as you might’ve guessed. this situation is very difficult and we just haven’t left yet bc we don’t have a place to stay other than here nor have the resources to leave.
the situation has become very uncomfortable and idk what else to do… the plan is to make enough money to buy a car so we can at least have a place to sleep while we don’t find another place to volunteer in.
also my gf can work as an uber if we have a car
so i made this goal to try and make this money, so we can buy a car and get out of here ASAP bc we’re DONE being exploited… this should help us start over…

Been trying to not bother anyone, but I am wondering if anyone could send donations. I can't pay rent today (even if I pay the half I will on credit) and more fees are adding on, and outside of some help I've barely been eating for a long time here. I'm just struggling to afford rising costs of living with constant new crises happening, and I haven't been able to get someone to take over my lease, so I can't just couchsurf. Not at all asking anyone to over extend or send me more if they've had, but if anyone could help I'd appreciate it.
(I have seen as many case managers and financial aid advisors as I can and am using every resource I can too! There's just not much where I am now.)

thinking about how in the manga aiura says she also saw teruhashi when she asked her crystal ball to show her her soulmate and was scared to learn that teruhashi would be her rival for saiki's love like... What if she mixed saiki and teruhashi up and misinterpreted. wouldn't that be so tragic? aiura also mentions that she can't predict lottery numbers because the karmic balance will strike back twice as hard. what if that's her punishment for using her powers in a self-interested manner by trying to find her soulmate? doomed to a life where no matter how much she may yearn for kokomi, she will always deny herself because of her ultimate belief in the truth of her own predictions?

#I had a lot of fun designing this!!!!!#i used the volkswagen kombi van as the base model and drew inspiration from modded cars with high rides#to kinda mimic those old horsedrawn caravan wagons.. i tried to keep functionality in mind so the tire covers on the chassis have#grips for where you would put your feet if you were to get in the drivers seat kinda like those huge freight trucks.. and since the ride#height is a little high theres a pool ladder attached to the back to mimic a caravan and to help ppl get in from the back#also exciting coming up with the stage side door.. i dont know exactly how it would work but i imagine the handle at the top#has to be turned and pulled in order to set up the stage.. and then theres a locking mechanism to keep it in place..??#theres also a stage curtain right behind the door where sleight would come out to do his performance so thats fun!!!#i dont have much to say abt the interior except i forgot to include the ladder which would help reach the skylight#the skylight is a little domed and i riffed that off the kombi camper too but its to contain his butterflies before and after shows ^_^#the hatch is inspired by the net stormdoor at my aunts house.. kinda like chicken wire?? and then there are flowers and pupae#idk if im ever gonna get around to coloring this but im happy finally getting my ideas down and turning it in my head lol#my art#myart#my oc#oc#sleight#concept art#interior#laikas comet oc#fan character#doodles

they just. they used to be so sweet together. and then the election arc managed to genuinely turn them against each other (and bad is still affected by being caged in the museum) and i would NOT have been surprised if a rebellion had started within the next few weeks after their last fight and. they used to be friends and then they almost destroyed each other
and then the eggs went missing
and there are so many parallels between them, but one of the biggest parallels is how they're both protectors. they both protected the eggs (and, when he became president, forever extended that protection to the other islanders) but the eggs went missing and they had to put all of that aside. Forever was quicker to put it down than Bad was (it felt like only a very temporary truce, from Bad's end), but they put their problems on hold, because their eggs. were gone.
and another parallel. the destruction. both of them with their plans to cause ruin because then, maybe, theyll get their kids back. bad caused most of the grieving arc damage directly, and got aypierre and antoine to help him. he dug holes in the ground. he placed mines everywhere and leapt into them. he started the lavacasting process of the fed building (and was interrupted by admins, so he stopped, but philza and fit were still right to laugh at him lmaoo). he drilled a hole through the side of the federation office from a huge distance away. he has chosen to hurt his friends and himself to get the eggs back. whatever the cost.
forever destroyed the island. or he planned to destroy the island. or he was interrupted just before he destroyed the island or or or. I don't know. but it was big, and it was bad. bad enough that the feds had to step in and forcefully drug him, and kickstart the happy pills arc.
and the happy pills arc..... oughghghgh as fucking awful as it was for their characters to experience i genuinely truly think that it saved them from each other. when he was first told about forever being fucked up bad was still in the "i need to kick his butt" mindset, and was all ready for an excuse to kill forever. and then he saw forever. and the first proposal happened. and bad was angry and he was sad and upset and he was careful. forever tried to kill him. bad decided to save him. forever kept trying to marry him. forever kept taking the pills. forever was so scared of his own anger and all of the damage he could and would have caused to his family that he kept taking drugs that kept him so out of his mind he hallucinated his son was just sleeping safely at his house.
and they both tried to kill each other. and they both failed.
and bad showed phil and cellbit (and tubbo) the item scanner that dapper discovered, which could destroy him, because nothing else was working. because they needed to save forever. because bad was reminded by then that forever was a victim of the federation instead of just a mouthpiece for it. and then when forever woke up he saw bad, suffering, and so excited to see him awake.
and now they're here on opposite sides again with forever projecting his protection urges onto the fed worker in bad's basement and bad frustrated that he isn't being believed and his evil plans of giving ron lemons apology brownies is being interrupted and. look at them. soft "i hate you" and the appreciation room and bad's quiet heartbreak when he learned about forever being missing and the "i miss you" book bad got mad at because it asked him not to torture fed workers. does anyone hear me im so ill about them. do you understand they care about each other so much and the happy pills arc reminded them of that. forever realized bad is colourblind and bad assumed forever was poisoning him and then forever helped bad cheat on another colourblindness test and forever was giving bad flowers and bad was accepting them and accepted that he was colourblind despite his previously constant denial and! i don't know if im being comprehensible and i dont really care i will be honest i just need you to know i am frothing at the mouth like a rabid little beast. they are a TRAGEDY of miscommunication and external pressure but they love so so much. platonic or romantic or qpp they CARE and it tears me to shreds

Hello all, I try not to ask a lot of people, but my mother and I are once again in a tough spot. Last time I asked for help with our ambulance bill, y’all really pulled through and made it much much MUCH, less of a burden on us.
Right now, my family is down to one car from two that were given to us for free. They weren’t the best, but they got us through a lot and allowed us to get around town, which honestly is all we really needed.
My parents are separated but share this one car, and unfortunately that leads to a lot of unnecessary stress (mom has to take blood pressure medication currently, but is getting better) and complications. My dad, at 75 still works and mom is on a limited income, as am I.
Our car is on it’s last legs, no air or heat, a undercarriage that ruins tires every six months and is too much to fix, and out newest problem is the transmission going out. Currently we can only use certain gears, and not even drive. It barely gets us to the grocery store.
