Hello all, I try not to ask a lot of people, but my mother and I are once again in a tough spot. Last time I asked for help with our ambulance bill, y’all really pulled through and made it much much MUCH, less of a burden on us.

Right now, my family is down to one car from two that were given to us for free. They weren’t the best, but they got us through a lot and allowed us to get around town, which honestly is all we really needed.

My parents are separated but share this one car, and unfortunately that leads to a lot of unnecessary stress (mom has to take blood pressure medication currently, but is getting better) and complications. My dad, at 75 still works and mom is on a limited income, as am I.

Our car is on it’s last legs, no air or heat, a undercarriage that ruins tires every six months and is too much to fix, and out newest problem is the transmission going out. Currently we can only use certain gears, and not even drive. It barely gets us to the grocery store.

Mom and I would really like to get a “new” used car, but we need some sort of down payment. At the vest least, we’d like to raise 500 usd but 1k would be even better. If you’re interested in supporting me, you can donate to the following (please specify it’s for my mother/car payment)

Okay so I never thought I’d be making this post but here we are

I’m in extreme financial difficulties right now due to a (now) ex-partner. When we lived together council tax was under both our names but paid out of his bank account. I’ve had a letter today informing me that I actually owe £1700 as he wasn’t paying it. I’ve had a debt collection officer turning up at my house today to collect this money or they take assets, which I don’t have as I moved home with nothing after ending it with him.

I’m currently living in an emotionally abusive (sometimes physically) house with my mother so she won’t be able or willing to help, and has threatened to make me homeless regarding this. If anyone could help at all I would be so grateful, I can even work out repayments if need be. Due to the financial abuse from my ex I am unable to get a loan, I’ve been spending all evening trying to find one.

I’ve asked on Reddit too, but if anyone could help donate towards helping with this so I can stay housed until I am able to move away from my abusive situation I would be so grateful. i need to replace my glasses. not the frames, the lenses. the things i see out of. my prescription has changed and as a result, my current pair are making it hard to see very well. it's not bad but i am a writer and sight problems can make that difficult.

hi! my name is Riley. i'm a disabled transmasc artist who is being flooded with more bills than i have the money to pay for this month. i only get $1,300 a month from disability and i am already broke from paying rent, my phone bill, utilities, last month's overdue car payment, gas for my roomie's work commute, and other overdue payments from months ago.

i need:

$300 total for my past-due car/renter's insurance & car loan payment

$100 for groceries

$102 to bring my venmo balance back from negative (which has been negative literally since december of last year)

Please help me escape an abusive situation.

Hi. So I didn’t think I’d ever be making this post or be back in this situation but I am.

I recently had to move back in with my mother, who was physically abusive to me as a child and is emotionally and verbally abusive to me as an adult. I’ve been putting up with it just whilst I could save enough money to get on the council housing lists and get out. However due to an ex-partner financially fucking me over and not telling me the full details of our money issues, that has been put on hold as I now owe my mum just over around £3500 due to DCBL turning up at my address. She had to pay it to prevent them from taking her work equipment.

I can’t move out of this house until I’ve paid her back, as I am just a barista and a part time uni student (who doesn’t get a maintenance loan) so I wouldn’t be able to afford social housing at the same time. I had to give her all my savings to start paying back. I also had to use my wages to pay for this months food shopping and bills as this has left us completely broke. I’m hoping to recover some of the costs to help get out of this house.

I understand this is a difficult time for everyone, so I’m grateful for whatever help you can spare - even if it’s just a few pennies or just reblogging this post. So I posted before how I had my Cassian Andor x OC fic on Quotev and I just wrote something in it that I'm loving to death

As the sun rose over Yavin IV, the rebels bustled with excitement. This time, it wasn't for a battle, nor for the sake of grief and anger-- but with a sense of respect and pride. Preparations for the Royal Award Ceremony were in full swing, as members of the Alliance scurried about, making sure every last detail was perfect, something that felt almost odd to do for the rebels.

It wasn't very often a celebration would be thrown-- evil never slept, but sometimes it felt like goodness did, till it seemed there was no light in the galaxy to penetrate the grey clouds hanging over a weary people's eyes, and they had to make up for all the times they had dozed off. And yet today, it seemed the sun shone brighter; a light reborn.

The once lonely, dark, and ominous audience chamber at the top of the Great Temple was cleaned, all the rogue, dried, and brown leaves cleared and swept away till not even a single crumb of them remained on the grey concrete. Some of the extra growth on the walls and pillars had been sliced away, but some were let to remain and were simply arranged into ribbon-like leafy garlands, a splash of color in the grey, making a cross as it looped around the front and back of the pillars.

Cracked and calloused hands that both lost and gave hope as they lost their softness with war picked up a remnant of their past; trumpets. Reminiscent smiles began to flicker to life, and it was all for the rising of the sun in the darkest of places-- their own minds. Where a star exploded, a light was born.

Clothes were cleaned, mended, and ironed, helmets and pieces of armor polished. There was a window of true joy in the air, replacing the old smell of ozone and smoke. Even the droids themselves were getting a very much-needed oil bath, and additional polishing after that. Needless to say, the effort the Rebellion put in to the day humbled Bodhi, Cassian, Luna, Luke, and to a degree, Han. The wookiee Chewbacca was touched as well, though both of them weren't too keen on showing it."
