shinobu rubs her eyes. she hasn't gotten much sleep lately, constantly fretting over her growing pile of duties. it's worked out in her favour, at least, giving her a couple days off from — face it — babysitting. she just...hopes the gang can go that long without getting into trouble.

she thanks aoi, placing a bag of mora on the counter as she collects the few groceries she's bought. she decides to take a walk through inazuma city; the crowds aren't ideal, but the scenery is nice, and the weather is perfect. it's a good day for a walk, especially since she's already here.

she hears footsteps approaching from behind, though she doesn't turn around to see. based on the sound, it's not anyone from the gang, so she's at least not having to forfeit her break day just yet. instead, they're very quiet, almost stealthy. she pays them no mind until suddenly there are fingers jabbing into both of her bare sides, and she yelps, just barely catching her groceries before they fall to the ground.

behind her, heizou laughs, pulling his hands away as she turns to glare at him. "morning, shinobu!" he sings, already beginning to back away.

"i'm going to kill you," she growls, cheeks pink though luckily hidden by her mask.

"you'll have to catch me first," he taunts, and breaks into a run before she can reply.

she catches up to him in the outskirts of the city, grabbing onto his wrist and pulling him back. he squeaks, clearly not expecting to be caught so soon. "w-wait, shinobu—!" he tries to reason, deteriorating into giggles as she claws at his sides.

"you do this every time," she says, "it's like you want me to tickle you. you can just ask, you know."

"whehere's the fuhuhun in th-thahat?" he asks, voice shaky with laughter, but since he can still talk coherently she clearly isn't doing a good enough job.

despite his hysterics, she doesn't feel the least bit sorry. he likes it, after all.
