The long and short of it is that Number would fucking hate Delores. She represents too much about how bad things could have been for him and begs for self reflection, which he is not going to do.

She's an immediate shorthand to show how desperate and insane Five got living alone in the apocalypse, with the added level of that Number is also Five. Number is also confident and comfortable in his identity as aroace - been there, tried it, didn't like it, he's good to go. And now here's this alternate version of himself that not only went so far off the deep end that he made up a person to love, but he then made that fake person his wife.

We know the nuance of Five and Delores (at least through my headcanon - Five was 13 when he landed in the apocalypse and had very limited examples and vocabulary for what adult relationships are and mean to build his Person with), but Number absolutely is not going to sit down and listen. He's out, it's too close and too real and makes how close he was to being Five too much. Delores' introduction to us in the show was a real What The Fuck; her introduction to Number would be a true mindfuck. She's where he's drawing his line for Too Far.

5 – big spoon Thomas my fucking belovedd. I think Thomas naturally adopts the protector role and Minho had it shoved onto him for too long, so the idea of Thomas spooning Minho in Paradise is simply mouthwatering

8 – early bird's gotta be Minho, courtesy of being a Runner. He also likes watching the sun rise over the sea, the way the water glistens gold, and how Paradise hums to life as the Immunes gradually wake up. (Also Thomas will smack Minho's face like the snooze button on an alarm clock whenever he tries to wake him up)

21 – Thomas really likes cuddling/physical intimacy so, when he's sad, Minho gives him little kisses and hugs throughout the day. Probably settles down with him on the couch, cuddled under a blanket (that he put in the dryer for 10 minutes to warm up), eating ice cream and watching a shitty rom-com movie.

21 – Minho likes spending time with Thomas and just being reminded (not necessarily directly) that Thomas loves him. So when he's down, Thomas drags him out to the coast for a walk. mike says i love you to el: everything always ends up being about mike somehow. i think this is the biggest one. people like the mystery and the way mike's sexuality isn't confirmed like will's is and so they analyze him more which leads to people literally rewriting history with takes like mike is more queercoded than will?😭 i get that everyone knows will is gay now but the mike focus has people thinking that will has no subtext when literally his entire storyline is full of the saddest subtext ever!!! but it's not subtext that you can choose to only read as "this boy is gay" so it's not as fun i guess😔 and it really isn't as fun. because it's mostly heartbreaking and awful lmao but yeah. just wanted to give a thumbs down to the mike is more queercoded than will take again.
