#polls #tumblr poll #i will resist putting this in the origami tag bc i don't want to bias the results #anyway. i taught a little boy to fold one of the origami frogs the other day and i had to teach him How to fold a piece of paper #bc he didn't know to pinch the fold or even to like. crease. the paper #he didn't know to crease the paper he just sort of folded it so the paper curved and wasn't. flat #and it took me 2 tries to explain what i wanted from him #he was 9 #and i am just curious. if origami is . a commonplace thing #or if i just learnt it when very young and thought it was common bc of that #this is not meant to be 'oooooh i'm so good at origami' bc i AM good at origami but #i genuinely am just curious if. i categorised it wrong? i guess?#like i put it in the same box as.#... learning to tie shoelaces
