like, gina is a married woman with a child, but simultaneously seems to be stuck in some sort of prolonged adolescence. never really strikes you as particularly mature; even the way she tries to get under tommy's skin in s6 in the first ep is so ... she behaves how she thinks she should behave, aside from the fact that she's extremely drunk lol

sad that Harvey didn’t seek therapy or free himself from his toxic masculinity-related issues (holding in emotions/releasing anger in an unhealthy way, staying the longest w/women who just agreed w/him, making homophobic jokes bc “gay is girly”, being closeted if you can see above canon) until after Mike left.

Ough, found this scene in the 1986 Journey to the West adaptation particularly interesting because it was one of the few if not the only time in this series where Tang Sanzang sounds genuinely upset with Zhu Bajie.
And yeah given what happened to the monk's dad and especially to his mom you can understand why :(

Ok so I learned a few things while trying to make @nyoxt ‘s Ram in the sims. First mods and in game custmization options are super heavily biased towards females so some things are not as good as they could be because that’s as close as I could get. Surprisingly his facial hair was the hardest one to find anything close, well that and I couldn’t find his forehead horns or next stripes. His skintone mod also very rudely took away his bicep tattoo and his bodyhair.
Starting off this was a random outfit the game decided he should wear for his party look and I just loved how dapper he was in it even if I didn’t keep it, very suave and handsome man he is.
Now initially I was planning on having them go to the beach for summer shenanigans, until I remembered that would probably give Reina squid incident ptsd so winter fun times instead. For some reason while playing Reina she would always get on the sled in the back and it, it did not work out well for them.
The next night I played as Ram and they got to enjoy some hot pot that was maybe a bit spicy for him but they still got a happy sentiment of bonding from hotpot.
Then they built, or attempted to build, a snowpal of well it’s cute.
The festival of snow happened so I had them try sledding again to much greater success, now that they figured out Ram in the back there was no more falling.
Finally ending the day with some karaoke that got absolutely ruined in their second song by an angry werewolf who had spent the first song kicking over a trashcan.
I decided to save and quit when they were running around in terror from the newly transformed werewolf.
Well Happy Birthday Nyoxt, I may have traumatized your boy.

hi brynn <333 hope you and emilio are doing well xx i wanted to ask if maybe you have the time if you would mind talking about your favorite things about thg + your least favorite + the thing that you feel that people miss about it/tend to misinterpret maybe please and thank you <333
ren i really wish i could give u some intelligent and thoughtful response to this that shows my capacity for critical engaging and impassioned discourse but uh. unfortunately thg is not where i can reach that level of thought processing
my favorite thing abt thg is it brings me back to being twelve years old again and my least favorite thing abt thg is that it reminds me i can never go back to being twelve years old again </3
also catching fire is not the best of the trilogy

Tumblebrutus and Etcetera are the ones who end up inheriting (or learning) the Theatre Cat operatic voice, and they're lovely little singers (a little unfocused, a little lacking in the training department, but they've got the spirit).

speaking of catholicism and being weird about it. i remember when i was 8-10 i scammed a catholic studies club for two years, because if you joined it you'd get a box full of gifts at the end of each year and it was full of stuff we couldn't afford at the time, ranging from toys to stuff i needed for school and even household items, so what i did was i went to that club twice a year (once for each semester) so they couldn't kick me out because i DID participate, i never did my homework and every time the club leader (teacher) asked me a question the best answer you'd get from me was "huh?"
P.S. the teacher didn't like me obviously but like, no one liked her either, even her son i think. he moved from our small village in eastern europe to US and the speed of his instagram changing from being unused to being full of pictures of hot women and alcohol is almost so impressive that i didn't believe it was a guy who used to be called an egg because of the way his mom stiled his hair and clothes in school.
well damn that sounds like a great and effective plan. i should've been doing that as a kid instead of learning bible stories unironically and raising my hand for every question during our church's version of sunday school. i didn't even get toys for it
