“how would it work if Cybertronians had disabilities” “What if there were disabled Cybertronians”
THERE ARE
THERE ARE
loosing my mind at how some things that are So good can be So niche why can’t we just be a hivemind
Just one example, my favorite example, is:
Shattered Glass Soundwave!!!
He’s gone through Multiple reformats varying between with his consent and,,, not. The latest of which took place when they didn’t have many materials
So they used half earth metals half Cybertronian ones
As it turns out? Those two things don’t mix very well. His joints are Horrible. They lock up randomly, the worst of which being the door to his tape deck.
He physically isn’t able to dock his cassettes reliably because they might get stuck in there.
What does he do to fix this? So glad you asked!! He has his own assistive aids, in this case: a portable external carrying case
It was made and personalized to work specifically for him and his situation
I love him

[ cw: death mention / family death mention / ]
Mhmm I sure love thinking of the reality where we did get more time to really know Karai and her dynamics with the bros. Losing her hit hard in the finale, but it would’ve hit much, much harder had we known Karai longer and really saw her relationships develop with everyone.
I especially would have been interested in her dynamic with Leo, as past iterations often have the two of them clash in ideals and the like while still sharing many characteristics. Two sides of the same coin, and all that. Her specifically being the bros’ Gram-Gram also adds a whole new dynamic as well.
Imagine how interesting it would be, to have Karai start off on Leo’s side for once, showing wholly just how alike the two are at their cores and bonding as family without the worry of betrayal or animosity that other iterations suffer through, only to have Karai die anyway. Their parting hug and the desperate look of horror Leo wears later on would have hit that much harder, I feel.

i need to talk about this because twitter doesnt allow me to say everything i want to say in one post.
so mickey didn't do anything the first time ian left, he let him leave because he was scared of asking him to stay out loud and he probably wasn't even ready to admit that to himself yet so he let him go. but he regretted it, he regretted it so much so he started to make these grand gestures to make sure ian wouldn't leave anymore.
he escaped prison, he went back to prison and gave up his "freedom" to be with him and thought it would work, it would be enough because he was finally fighting for ian, he was finally doing something and trying to make him stay. and at first, both times, seemed to work, seemed like ian was gonna stay, stay with him.
until it didn’t.
and it didn't because they both knew ian couldn't leave, they both knew it was too much daydreaming, they both knew it wasn't the best option specially for ian. and then, in prison, ian didn't belong there. and it's not like mickey belongs in there either, not in my opinion at least. but ian needed another type of life; needed stability, needed a normal, balanced life and he deserved that. he deserved the house, the job, the dog, the cat and the children and mickey knew that so he couldn't force him to stay, he had to let him go again. but the beautiful thing is that yeah, these grand gestures didn't make ian stay for too long, but mickey would made them again and again and again and he actually kept making them until the very last season.
he would never regret anything he has done for ian, never. he probably just would've wanted that the result was different but he would never regret any of it. he was fighting for ian, something that he couldn't do when they started their relationship.
i feel like his acts of service or the fact itself that acts of service is his love language for ian comes from here but also from the value he gives to loyalty. he failed ian once when he couldn't say "don't leave, please" so he made his personal mission to fight for ian and make sure he knew he wanted him in his life, that he wanted to be with him.

people who hate zuko will list off things he did as a villain (or anti-hero, tbf) to try and convince other people they should hate him, also, and it’s like “???? yeah. i know. he for sure did all that stuff (edit: most of that stuff. people really do act like the narrative confirmed or implied things it never did.) and it was bad. the narrative treats it like it’s bad. other characters rightfully say those things are bad. he also then goes on to apologize, try to set things right and help people, and atone. that’s like. most of his character arc. that’s the whole narrative point of him.”

Yet another Glass Onion post
People on here and on Twitter being like “omds can’t believe Rian Johnson predicted elon musk” bro? Do you think musk only started being an idiot when he bought twitter? Or that people only just realised his stupidity?
musk has always been an idiot and people have known this for a long fuckin while. The thai football team pedo scandal, the uglass truck, teslas blowing up, the shattered “unbreakable” window?
This is the same shit as when people are like “ooh dystopian novel x totally predicted y” No, it was commenting on shit that was happening in the contemporary society
It’s a great movie but it didn’t predict shit

Tuvok/T'Pel insufferable romance is real to me. I want her to completely match the energy he has in that one "Alter Ego" scene where he like, notices she's reading some sort of very old and long book for pretentious people and says he's actually read the book before. He wrote a paper on it, actually, a very well received paper. If you'd like I could- and T'Pel interrupts to say she's actually re-reading it. "I apologize. / Don't. It's rare to meet anyone who has more than a...passing interest in such things. / I assure you my interest is far from passing. / Mm. However, just because it hasn't yet passed... / (Agreeing with what's unsaid) Persistence is not the same as comprehension. / (T'Pel tips her head in agreement) / If you're uncertain, I'd be more than willing to demonstrate the depths of my knowledge on the subject. " <- They are going to be so annoying together for the rest of their lives. People are gritting their teeth listening to this.
