so I woke up one day and he was like "I'm thinking about naming him Bucky."

me, still half-asleep, "After my favorite marvel character?"

him, suddenly realizing, " Oh. No."

and yet

Dan is Trigon

So! The Teen Titans had been chasing down a Cult lately, and they had finally managed to track down their main bases location.

Unfortunately, they got there just a bit too late and the Summoning Ritual they had been preforming was finished. The Being they had been calling crawled up and out of the Circle drawn in Blood on the floor.

And Raven felt her heart Stop. Because that Being crawling it's way out of the Summoning Circle looked almost exactly like her Father's True Form. But also different.

Where her Father's hair was a White Flame, this one's hair looked like Freshly Fallen Snow. Instead of her Father's Blood Red Skin, this being had Icy Blue Skin. And most strikingly, In place of her Father's Piercing Red Eyes, this being had Lazarus Green Eyes.

But even with all those changes, she could still the similarities in the Bone Structure, the shape of the Jaw, and most importantly the Untold Power radiating off of them.

Before they could react, the Being turned its attention to the Cultists.

"Who Dares Summon, the Ghost King?"

"We do, Out Lord Pariah Dark! We Beseech Thee, take this unclean world and tear it down! Cleanse the World of its Filth!"

"Oh Goddammit, not again." Said the Being, "Look, Pariah hasn't been in Power for Centuries. I, am Phantom. And I don't do the whole 'Destroy all Worlds' thing, you want your own constellation? I'm your guy. Otherwise? Bite it."

"Bu-But my Lord! We summoned you to-"

"Yeah how about no." Said the unimpressed God, "Here, let me send you guys Home. I'll give you guys some riches or something as compensation, but that's it."

And with that, the God snapped its fingers and the cultists disappeared.

"Now, who are you kids?" He turned to them.

Robin stepped forward, "We are the Teen Titans, and originally we came to stop them from Summoning you. Now, I honestly don't know what to do..."

"Oh, you guys are Heroes! That's interesting, I don't come across worlds with Heroes very often." Said the Ghost King, "The last one was the one with those Revengers or whatever they called themselves. The Spider Totem was fun to talk to, and Thor is always..."

As Phantom mumbled to himself, Raven stepped up. "King Phantom, I have a Question. Why do you resemble the true form or Trigon so closely? As his Daughter, I can recognize your similarities easily, and I was curious."

The King stopped dead.

"...daughter?"

"Oh, yes. Trigon is my father, though obviously I haven't talked to him recently." She explained.

"...that asshole." He said, "How could he not tell me I had a NIECE!?"

Au where Danny, whose timeline is an alternate version of Dan's timeline. Instead of Vlad, he's taken in by...Bruce Wayne? What the fuck do you mean his uncle is fucking Bruce Wayne???)??????

While Danny is having the existential crisis of his life, Clockwork is giving very specific instructions to Danny's rogues to make sure the boy doesn't sway to the same person Dan was. Of course, he should've known better.

Unsurprisingly, threatening Batman was a bad idea; since now the Justice League is in high alert ever since they found out this entity named 'Phantom' is supposedly the difference between the end of the world and peace.

what would it be like to date Ghost?

Intense. The man can't do anything in half measures, but he also can't open himself up. If you're dating Ghost you're not dating Simon, you may see glimpses of the man behind the mask but Ghost will always brush it off. He's hard to pin down, too afraid of becoming his father to form anything meaningful with you, but too afraid of being left alone to let you leave. He lures you in with empty promises but once he has you he can't let go, so he tries to pull back and make you leave him instead.

At the same time he's obsessed with you. He can't want you in small doses, he has to want you all the time or it's not enough. It'll never be enough. He's addicted to you, you consume him. Your vines have taken root on the bomb shelter he's created for himself and the dig into the meat of him. He loves you, loves you in a way that makes him stand in front of the door when you try to leave, in a way that makes him dangerous.

On The Other Hand. Simon wants so desperately to have someone, to be someone, to make up for the past and rebuild what he lost. You meet Ghost at a bar, you'll never get more than a situationship, you meet Simon at a bar you'll be lucky if he doesn't propose in a week. He's desperate, wanting, he's angry at the world and looking for meaning. He's a soft howling animal that's been closed off from the world for too long and is eager to run wild once the cage is unlocked. He reels you in with words that have sat dormant on his tongue for years, he grips your skin like a lifeline, he sinks his teeth in and doesn't let go.

Dating Ghost is like dating a frightened creature that's never seen the sun, and offering it a way to the surface. He'll treat you like his salvation, he only knows one way to love and that's with blood in his teeth.

A reminder that Spinner canonically compares himself to Dabi and feels inferior to the rest of the League of Villains.

Part of the reason he allowed AFO to manipulate him is because he wanted to be reliable, as in he wanted to be stronger to be of use to Tomura. So again, he's canonically kinda jealous not only of Dabi's quirk, but of him as a person.

About that one ask where Machete murders everyone. I'm in my fire phase at the moment and thought blue would look good in contrast to Machete's usual red :)
