FOOLISH - c. sturniolo

last part

warnings: y/n being dumb

waking up in your hotel room, you were greeted by the emptiness of your shared bed, where your boyfriend was supposed to be. maybe it was how many times chris had left before you could wake up in the past, but you didn’t bat an eyelash to this.

instead you shuffled out of bed and proceeded to get ready for the day. you had landed in Miami last night, and everyone was filled with jet lag, ready to knock out for the night.

nick had told everyone to be down in the lobby by 12 PM, so you could all start the activities he and madi had planned. it was now 11:30, so you assumed everyone was already down and just waiting on you.

so quickly, you got ready and took the elevator there.

to your surprise it was just chris in the lobby. he was never the type to wake up early so this confused you.

“good morning.” chris mumbled while softly smiling. you returned the smile and greeted him as well, even more lost as to why he was being so friendly.

“where’s nate?” you asked while taking a seat across from chris.

chris shrugs before getting up to sit beside you.“don’t know, didn’t see him.”

“what are you doing?” you eyed the brunette suspiciously, as he moved himself closer. chris said nothing but gently took one of your hands in his. caressing it gently before bringing it up to his lips to softly plant a kiss.

“chris-”

before you could protest chris cuts you off. “you’re not really happy with him, are you?” he asked while searching your eyes for anything. anything that showed him you weren’t as secure as you played to be in your relationship.

“chris what are you talking about?” you say before snapping your hand away from his. you were furious. what gave him the right to question your relationship? who was he to be ‘concerned’?

before this conversation could progress, nick and madi had made their way down from their rooms and greeted the both of you.

soon after nate and matt joined you all and off you were to your adventures.

“are you guys really gonna sit there and tan?!” nick shouts from the water.

after getting some breakfast and letting that digest, you all made your way to your resorts beach.

you and madi had decided to sit in the sun for some more before getting in the water with the boys. “be there in a sec!” madi shouts back from her towel.

as for you, you were catching up with some of your summer readings. you could feel madi’s eyes prying at you so you set your book down and looked at her.

“what’s up?”

“i should be asking you that.” madi chuckles while sitting up on her elbows. “you and chris?”

you awkwardly cleared your throat at the sudden mention of the brunette. “what do you mean?” you ask as innocently as you could.

“cmon y/n. you don’t have to hide from me. i am one of your best friends after all.”

you sighed before also sitting up. thats when you opened up completely about whats been going on between you and chris. madi was the first person you ever really told.

as for madi, she was upset as to how chris was treating you but could also see that with the way you spoke about him, your feelings never really vanished.

“and nate’s a great guy but..”

“you still love chris?” madi muttered, finishing your thought. you slowly nodded your head before sighing in frustration.

“i don’t know why madi. he’s such an asshole but for some reason i cant get over him completely.” you say while fighting back the tears that were threatening to spill. in all honesty you weren’t the best without chris. you liked to pretend you were, but you were a mess of emotions waiting to explode.

madi quickly embraces you in a tight hug. “its okay, love is really fucking weird.” you chuckled at her statement before pulling away from her grasp while saying thank you.

after your talk, you both made your way to the waters where the boys were playing, happily splashing in the waters and tossing each other around. this was what you needed.

once you made it back to your hotel room, you knew what you had to do. no more lying to yourself, and no more pretending.

nate came out of the shower to find you sat at the edge of the bed, seemingly waiting for something. your bags had been packed and organized near the door.

nate knew what was happening. “you still love him, don’t you?” he sighed while drying his hair off with a towel. he took a seat beside you. you were shocked at his statement to say the least.

“you..you knew?” nate only nodded and tossed his towel to the side.

“chris told me everything when we were coming back to the hotel, and everything then made sense.” nate explained while fidgeting with his hands.

you couldn’t shake the feeling of guilt that coursed through your body as you looked at nate. he further explained how he saw your quick glances at chris, and how you would always wonder if he would be around.

“im really sorry, nate. it just kinda all came back to me.” you say while awkwardly shrugging. not really knowing what to say.

“don’t be, i get it.” he said while running his fingers through his hair. “i take it you’re gonna go see him?” he says while pointing to your bags. you nodded before you stood up. nate did as well. before leaving the room, you both exchanged one last hug before you made your way to chris’ room.

when you arrived, you knocked three times. chris eventually swung the door open and froze up at the sight of you.

“you were right.” was all you said before you both met in the middle and exchanged a long awaited passionate kiss, not missing a beat. chris’ hands traveled to your waist before pulling you inside and closing the door to his room not once breaking the kiss with you.

your hands traveled against each other. you both melted into each others touch, not wanting this moment to end. but eventually you broke the kiss and looked into chris’ eyes.

“im scared. im scared to trust you again.” you mumbled. chris ran his hands from your shoulders, all the way down to your elbows before caressing them.

“i know, and i know ive said this a million times but m’ sorry y/n.” chris planted a kiss on your forehead before continuing. “when you were with nate i felt horrible. and i felt horrible for treating you the way i did. i never that you’d be back here but i promise to be better, for us.”

you softly smiled and wrapped your arms around chris’ waist. he hugged you back and rested his head against yours.

maybe this was your happy ending.

maybe chris would be better this time.

OMG I cant stop thinking abut musician!Eren and influencer!turned rapper/singer!reader. I read one of ur posts where Eren makes a diss track. But imagine when the media gets a hold of the breakup!!!! All these rappers come out tryna get readers attention and it’s absolutely KILLING EREN!

I feel like reader probably was good friend with a couple rappers and they all hop on a track (not to diss Eren or anything) but the reader is kinda just having a little fun doing things she has never done before!

Musician!Eren and his homeboys probably out chiling when reader and a bunch of rappers come up on TV that’s talking bout the hot new track and music video that was just released and the world going dumb for reader rapping!!

so (y/n) and eren end up having a less than amicable split (could be conflicting schedules, him being selfish, you doing something he didn’t like, etc. who knows…for the sake of this, we’ll say he’s at fault!) but either way, y’all go your separate ways and obviously, it stings for both of you..neither of you take it well in the beginning. You’re on Instagram throwing subs through your story and he’s doing what he does best: hopping in the booth, channeling his pain. But the one thing you hadn’t bet on was the amount of other artists who were waiting in line for something like this to happen. You’d hear whispers of your name being dropped in songs or referencing your dancing…little things, nothing major. To help you cope and kind of get over your obvious heartache, you get a call from some of the rappers that your ex has collabed with in the past, or mutual friends of you guys. Not to be shady or anything, but just to help you vent your frustrations. You were never one for taking your personal problems to the net but when you hear his new song, you can’t help but sense some hostility in his lyrics towards you. Things you’d never imagine him ever saying to you and it makes you upset, to the point that you even find yourself crying on the shoulder of one of these other musicians (probably another female rapper tbh) and at that point, they know what must be done. “Girl, fuck that nigga. You better than all that. Tell you what, come hop on my new song with me, let’s have fun.” And you’re so nervous! Like looking crazy because you’ve never done something like that. “I’m not a rapper. I can’t do that.” “Girl, anybody can do anything if they set their mind to it.” But there’s always room for new beginnings..so reluctantly, you start penning down some words that express your pain and even some things you’d always wanted to talk about. It’s summertime and the ladies need a new anthem. You and your friends are all in the studio with the rap girls as well and y’all are just having fun! No drama, no beef, none of that sad shit either. “Baby, we outside this summer. Shaking ass, living life..we gotta give the girls something to turn up to.” And from there, that’s all you need! You start writing a verse and with a little help from the professionals, you go in that booth and lay it down. Not even thinking about whether it sounds bad or good. You just brag on yourself, on your fine ass friends and how y’all are the baddest bitches walking. Eren or any other man is an afterthought by the time you finish! a couple weeks pass and even though you’re still healing, it’s getting easier not having him around. Meanwhile, Eren decides to go out to the club, more than likely against his will but he needs a distraction. But that doesn’t last long when he sees a screen playing a video with a bunch of women down at Miami Beach dancing. That’s when the DJ says something he’d never thought he’d hear in a million years: “this that new joint, the new summer anthem from (insert rapper name) and (y/n) (l/n)! And let me tell y’all, the rap game gotta a new problem. Let’s play that shit.” And when he hears your voice, flowing on the track like you’ve been waiting your whole life to do this, he’s stunned. His homeboys are starting at him, hitting his arm. “Bro, you hear that shit?! What the fuck? Why ain’t you tell us your girl could spit like that?” But he’s equally as shocked as they are. He’s confused and as your ex man, he doesn’t even want to look at you. But as an artist…his interest is piqued! Either way, it’s the perfect excuse to hit your line. “I gotta go make a call real quick.”

Miami unserious race overview

Hello and welcome back. We have another interesting race behind us. My thought on each team and driver under the cut as always.

1. Red Bull

I cant believe I'm saying this but Max lost on lack of pace. This is both good news and bad news to me. Good news because the Red Bull is within reach to the rest of the grid and we might get a possible lestappen fight in the future and bad news because my Maxie lost 😭. But it's OK he's gonna win the next one (if Charles let's him he he)

And it looks like red bull got the setup wrong for this race (they applied for a change that was not approved under Parc Ferme) so I'm not too scared. And by the looks of it neither was Max.

At one point Perez had such a bad pace I was like WHAT is wrong with the Red Bull??? It's insane. I'm starting to like Checo again so I don't want him to flop too hard. But alas.. it's Checo. But please please for the love of good be good enough to keep Daniel in the midfield. 🙏

2. Ferrari

Charles was amazing once again all weekend. That's my perfect driver. He did everything right except for that spin but he controlled amazing there too. I just love him so much ok? OK. And he didn't seem too dissapointed with his pace compared to McLaren either maybe because they could keep up with them on similar tyre life's without upgrades. So those coking upgrades must be good if he is this nonchalant to losing to Lando. Like I said, both Charles and Max seemed pretty unaffected but maybe that was just them in the moment being happy for their friend. No way to tell.

Anti Carlos rant and thoughts on the rest of the grid below the cut

Carlos was horrible. Honestly just all in all a really bad performance from him. Please let us start acknowledging this. First he could not pass Daniel in the sprint, then in the race the first thing he does again is attack Charles instead of defend against Perez. Which lead to Perez barging in and almost taking both of them out. He was extremely lucky that didnt happen. Then he kept whining on the radio about how he is faster (he was 0.029 faster for god's sake). And one point when he lost the DRS he wanted a switch which was exactly when he saw he was losing pace and he needed something to happen for him to be in front. Then I don't even want to talk about the fight with Piastri. That was just embarrassing, both from a on track battle perspective and a horrible whiny human being perspective. No skill no personality nothing. I honestly don't remember him being in a battle with someone and not making contact in recent races. And then this same person goes and blames everyone but himself. And not only that, he's saying he had the win???? Honey, Lando would have passed you in half a lap if you hadn't pitted, what are you on about? What win? I wish to be this delusional one day.

Carlos rant over moving on to the man of the hour:

3. McLaren

Lando finally got the win! Yay. Kinda a lot of mixed feelings about this one. I don't want Lando to do good but I am happy that a man who has worked his entire life and has faced disappointment after disappointment is getting to have this moment. And I believe in good karma and positive attitude so I will not be a bitter hater on this one. Congrats Lando and Lando fans. And I am counting this as a win, the safety car helped him but he is not the first nor last to be helped this way, however he drove beautifully after that and deserved the place. Max and Charles fell behind on pace significantly and very fast (albeit Charles was on significantly older tyres).

I am so sorry for Oscar. He used the situation at the start then was really fast and kept both ferraris at bay for too long. All that without the full upgrade package. Really really good performance. He was my driver of the day. Not to mention he had the hardest job yesterday - having to deal with Carlos. Imagine if ferrari didn't decide to pit him first.. I cant even think about it honestly I might go crazy. Can't wait to see what he can do with all the upgrades in Imola.

4. Mercedes

They were fighting Haas all weekend. Toto should stop yapping about Max and resign once and for all.

5. RB

I think RB only have one working car but are not telling anyone. One race Daniel suddenly remembers how to drive the next one its Yuki. They switch the one working car they have each race and no k e can convince me otherwise. (Real talk tho Daniel being p20 3 hours after he got p4 in the sprint is extremely hilarious)

6. Aston Martin

They were racing? The only time I saw Strolls name was when he drove into Lando in the sprint (not his fault this time). I honestly have nothing else to say..

7. Haas

MY NEW FAVORITE TEAM!!!! They are so funny but they are gaining points from it. They provide entertainment on and off track AND they are climbing up the standings. How fucking amazing. Kevin Magnussen you beast. You my man represent what f1 should be about - unhinged chaos. He came he collected 1 minute worth of penalties he finished last. But did we have fun? We sure did. Did Lando win? He fucking won. Did Logan DNF? Unfortunately there has to be a victim here. And he has 2 penalty points left to spare before Ollie makes a comeback and with this track record I think we are about to see Ollie in Monaco. Kevin the fairy godmother of f1. Giving everyone what they want in the most entertaining way possible. Did I mentioned how much I love him? Yeah I do!

8. Alpine

Alpine got a point!!!! Another sentence I didn't think I'd be writing this soon. Good for them. I don't know if it is still only Esteban with the upgrades but it seems like it. Either way this is promising and I'm happy for them. They did that for Travis btw. If you even care.

9. Williams

I feel so sorry for Logan. I feel like I say that way too often but it's the truth this season. Poor guy. The latest victim of the Magnussen tornado. Who Will it get next week? My guess is Perez.

10. Sauber

Idk if anyone noticed but Zhou made it an insane amount if laps on a soft tyre. The last time j checked was 5 6 laps to the end and he was on lap 23 on softs. That's impressive. He probably didn't want to risk losing 50 seconds In the pits again poor guy. Other than that they need to do better. Good job to Zhou tho.

y’all can finally celebrate that I posted something🥳

Growing up, you really hated that your birthday was during the summer. It was mainly due to the fact that you never got to celebrate with your friends since they were always on vacation with their families or away at camp.

But now that you were older and had a more established friend group, summer birthdays were a blessing, especially since you absolutely adored the beach. Having the additional financial support from being a model meant you could always be a bit more lavish too.

That’s how you ended up partying on a private yacht with your best girl friends, and more importantly with your boyfriend Jack, who you had been dating for almost a year now in secret.

That is precisely how you and Jack ended up sweaty and all over each other, not to mention, way too drunk. You let out a giggle as your arms wrap around Jack’s neck and shoulders, leaning up to press a kiss to his lips. “Love you Jack Jack,” you hum sweetly.

He chuckled, his hands moving to hold your waist as the both of you swayed along to the music. “Love you too mamas,” he grinned, leaning down to press another kiss to your lips.

You smile into the kiss before you pull away abruptly. “Let’s take some more shots,” you grin, grabbing his hand and leading him to where the shot glasses and drinks were. You pour one and smirk as you set the glass in between your breasts, thankful for your low cut bikini top. You look up at Jack through your thick lashes and wait patiently with an amsused smile.

Noticing what you were doing, Jack’s eyes widened and his heart skipped a beat, no doubt getting bricked up as well. “Gonna be the fucking death of me ma,” he breathed out, before he finally dipped his head down towards your breasts and wrapped his pink lips around the shot glass. Once he made sure it was secure, he tossed his head back and downed the shot hands free.

You giggle and watch him swallow, the entire thing making you beyond heated for him. Jack set the shot glass down and instantly reaches for your hips. “You’re so hot,” he whines, clearly very drunk. “Want the entire world to know you’re mine,” he breathes out.

“Mhm?” you question, your fingers coming up to play with the curls at the nape of his neck. “You know…we can always confirm our relationship?” you point out, biting your lip. “Tired of hiding.”

Jack let out a chuckle. “We’re definetly too drunk to make this decision…but I don’t fucking care anymore. It’s now or never.”

“Perfect,” you giggle.

In terms of hcs for Brian, you might get a kick outta this one.

Context: There's an old PW interview (0:00-0:46) where he gets asked why he thinks he's often paired with majority hispanic casts on films, and he talks about growing up in San Fernando Valley and how it feels like home so he likes it. Anyway, when the interviewer asks him if he can speak any spanish his response is that he can say "all sorts of dirty things," before lightheartedly changing the subject.

Anyway, Brian grew up in Cali too and I like to think he's picked up a little bit of Spanish conversationally from old girlfriends. So, his spectrum of knowledge pretty much consists of the absolute basics, and then the raunchy shit (because freaks obviously flock to him, and he likes when they would dirty talk to him in spanish while he makes them cum), no inbetween. He likes using spanish to flirt nowadays; he's a little sloppy with it, the individual phrases are well structured but he struggles to string together multiple sentence sometimes, regardless, it comes in handy both in Los Angeles and Miami. He comes across a lot more forward in spanish than english because of his limited lexicon and the close nature of his relationships with the people who taught it to him, it's filled with slang and colloquialisms, but sometimes being forward is what you need, especially in the car scene where a lot of the women can match that intense energy. His pretty face, confidence, and the fact that he wins every fucking race with that Skyline definitely helps too.

Part One

“I’ve just always thought she’s an incredible actress” Daniel spoke into the microphone. A slight blush had taken over his face as he answered the questions from the host. “And yeah, I guess you could say that she’s pretty fit as well.” The audience laughed at his response.

“Have you ever met her?” Daniel and Lando were appearing on The Graham Norton Show to help promote the new series of Drive to Survive.

“No. Sadly I’ve never had the pleasure, but I hope to one day.”

“I cant wait for that day to be honest with you, he’s gonna squirm like a shy little boy.” Lando joked causing another wave of laughter from the crowd. Daniels cheeks grew even redder.

You were sat in the makeup trailer when your co-star Chris Evans came barging in, in his usual dramatic style. “Ellie, you are not going to believe this.” Your eyes darted up from your phone at the sudden intrusion, you spotted Evans in the mirror and raised your eyebrows in confusion at his sudden outburst.

“Well go on then Evans spit it out” You chuckled at him, he didn’t say anything in response only approached you from behind and brought his phone in front of your eye line. He clicked play on what appeared to be a YouTube video. You watched as Daniel and Lando appeared on screen. You couldn’t help but blush as Daniel started speaking about you. You noticed the way his face turned red also. Could it be, did it he really have a crush on you.

The clip ended and you turned to look at Evans who was kneeling down next to you. “Your point being?” You questioned him with raised eyebrows. He let out an exasperated laugh at your response.

“Oh I don’t know.” He started “Maybe it’s the fact that you’ve had a crush on this man for years and he’s just openly admitted on live TV that he also fancies the pants off you?”

You felt the blush coming back to your cheeks and you turned away from him to look in the mirror where you caught the eye of your makeup artist who had a knowing smirk on her face.

“Oh you can shut up and all” You were becoming more flustered from the stares. This caused Evans to burst into laughter.

“Oh I forgot I was meant to let you know. We’ve been invited to attend the Miami GP with McLaren next week.” Chris spoke as he started to head out of the trailer. You dropped your phone into your lap and spun in your chair.

“What?!” But it was too late, he was gone from the trailer and you could only shout after him. “Chris!!”

You clung closely to Chris’ side as your were escorted through the crowds of people in the paddock. You’d been a fan of F1 for years, but had never been to see a race yourself. It had always been something that you had wanted to do, but with the nature of your job. Things had got in the way. So now that you and Chris had been invited by McLaren to be VIP guests, of course you were not going to turn it down.

“Is that okay with you Miss. Love?” The McLaren press assistant directed the question at you, however you were too caught up in the madness of the paddock that you had totally missed what he had just said.

“I’m so sorry, I didn’t hear a word that you just said.” Chris let out a slight chuckle from beside you and you elbowed him gently in response.

“We were going to get you to do a hot lap with one of our drivers if that’s okay.” He repeated for your benefit.

“Oh god, yes I guess.” You turned to Chris who was smirking at you.

You and Chris were escorted down onto the pit lane to be met by a very nice looking McLaren and a TV crew. You greeted all of the crew shaking each of their hands and introducing yourself as you went. Chris stood off to the side with both of your press managers.

“Miss. Love”

“Ellie, please.” You interrupted, smiling at the young worker.

“Ellie, I’m just going to pop this Microphone on your top so we can pick you up when you’re in the car.” You smiled and let him attach the Microphone onto your clothing.

“Ellie!” You turned on your heel to be greeted by none other than Ted Kravitz coming towards you followed by a camera. “It really is a pleasure to meet you!”

You chuckled at his words and walked over to him accepting his hug. “It’s so lovely to meet you Ted. I’ve watched you on the TV for years! Can’t believe that I’m finally seeing you in flesh!”

He chuckled at you. “Now you are known for having done some pretty serious stunts over your acting career, but how are you feeling about today.”

“I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty excited. How often do you get the chance to go round a F1 circuit with a F1 driver. Bring it on”

“Now that’s the kind of enthusiasm that I like to hear.” Your breath hitched in your throat as you heard an all too familiar Aussie accent from beside you. You turned your head to be greeted by none other than Daniel Ricciardo himself. You couldn’t help the smile that was taking over your face as your eyes met his.

“Oh god, are you driving me round today?”

“Yes I am” He said clapping and rubbing his hands together. “You ready Miss. Love?” You couldn’t help the fluttering of your heart as he called you Miss. Love.

“Indeed I am.” A small smile took over his face at your words. “Show me what you’ve got.”

Ted interrupted you both making you break eye contact with Daniel. “Now Ellie, I’m going to give you these cards. These are all fan submitted questions, all you have to do is read them out and yourself and Daniel answer as he’s driving you round the circuit.”

“Sounds simple enough, what could possibly go wrong?” You smiled taking the cards from Ted’s hand.

You all laughed as Daniel gestured for you to head over to the car. You stopped at the passenger side door and just as your were reaching up for one of the helmets that was resting on the roof, Daniel beat you to it. Grabbing a helmet and bringing it down in front of you. “May I?” He asked, gesturing the helmet towards your head.

You felt the slightest blush creep over your cheeks. “Oh, of course” you couldn’t help but stumble slightly over your words. He lifted the helmet gently down onto your head and carefully did up the chin strap. You felt tingles pass through your body as his fingers grazed gently over your skin.

“Can’t have you getting injured now.” He whispered to you, aware of the many cameras that were focused on the pair of you. “Precious cargo.” He dropped you a cheeky wink before leaning towards you so he could grab the handle of the door and pull it open for you. You started to lower yourself down into the passenger seat when you felt his hand take yours to help you in carefully.

“Why thank you sir.” You said quietly, giving him a small smile. He shut the door carefully behind you. He made his way round the front of the car fastening his own helmet onto his head before quickly jumping in the drivers side. He clicked the engine on and suddenly the nerves that apparently weren’t there before were starting to set in. “Okay, I know I said I wasn’t nervous about 5 seconds ago, but suddenly It’s all become very real.”

Daniel laughed at your words. “It’s okay Ells, I’m going to take good care of you.”

“Yeah, something tells me that’s not entirely accurate.”

“All you have to do is read those questions and enjoy yourself.”

“Oh, enjoying myself is not going to be a problem I can assure you of that.” And with that Daniel set off on your lap. Your whole body felt like it was being shoved back into the seat and you let out a small squeal. “OMG be careful!” You yelled.

Daniel was laughing beside you as you were gripping onto the sides of your chair as he accelerated even more down the pit straight. “Read the questions Ell.” His voice brought you back to reality and after stealing a quick glance of him from beside you, you brought the cards into your eye line and started to read the first one.

“Okay, this one’s been submitted by @danielsleftboot. And it asks, if you weren’t in your current careers what jobs would you be doing?” After you finished reading out the question you let out a scream as Daniel went round the first corner on the track. “OMG, Daniel careful careful!!”

He laughed before answering the question “I think I would be a florist.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, I just fucking love flowers.” You couldn’t help but laugh at his answer before letting out another small scream. “What about you Miss. Love?”

“I like to think I would be a police detective, but I honestly don’t know. I never had much a plan in school” He laughed at your words. “Okay next one. Submitted by @lovelymisslove. When was the first time you were starstruck? Oh see now I know the answer to this immediately. It was when I met Alan Rickman…” You had to stop mid answer as Daniel had decided to drift round another corner and you instinctively threw out your hand and grabbed a hold of his arm to steady yourself.

“You okay there?” He asked suggestively.

You tried to pull yourself together. “Never been better, as I was saying. Alan Rickman, I grew up watching Harry Potter and meeting him was just incredible.”

“Alan Rickman, wow” Daniel exhaled at your answer.

“Okay, next question. This one is submit- wait what?” Your eyebrows pulled together in disbelief at what was written on the paper in front of you. “You have got to be kidding me, I’m going to kill this boy.” In the corner of your eye you noticed Daniels head turn towards you. “We’re skipping this one”

“Uh, absolutely not. No skips.”

“Trust me you don’t want me to read this one out.”

“Trust me I absolutely do.”

“Okay then fine.” You challenged locking your eyes on his face as he continued to drive the car. “Submitted by @chrisevans”

“Isn’t that who’s here with you today.” Daniel asked eyebrows furrowing.

“Yes, yes it is. Submitted by @chrisevans, who are your celebrity crushes?” You watched Daniels face intently as you saw a blush creep over his cheeks. You were pulled away from your thoughts as you rounded another corner at speed and you let out a high pitched squeal. Your grip on Daniels arm only tightening. “I’ll let you answer this one first.” You spoke rather smugly. Daniel cleared his throat before answering you.

“No, no. Ladies first. I insist”

“No, happy to let you take this one. I went first last time.”

He sat in silence a little longer looking over at you in little glances. “See I just don’t think I can answer that one. Might make this whole experience a little more awkward.”

“Okay, I guess I’ll answer then. My celebrity crush is you.” You spoke confidently and clearly and it caused Daniel to turn his head abruptly towards to you. You squealed as he was looking at you a little too long. “Eyes on the road Daniel!” You yelled at him pointing ahead.

“Sorry sorry.” You were still travelling at speed being thrown around the car.

“It’s really funny you should say that Miss. Love, because my celebrity crush just so happens to be you.” You could tell he was trying to be confident but his voice was shaking ever so slightly.

“Yeah I already knew that.” He turned his head towards you sharply again. “I watched you on Graham Norton” Daniel groaned at your words. His face was now aggressively red and you couldn’t help but giggle.

“God.” He paused speeding up slightly. “I’d blocked that from my memory.” You let out a giggle on again which then abruptly turned into a scream and Daniel sped up even more causing you to bring your legs up into your chest and grip onto the roof of the car.

“Oh my god, Daniel, Daniel, Daniel! For the love of god slow down”

“That’s what you get for laughing at me.” He looked over at you, winking again. Your breath caught in your throat at the sight.

“So Ellie, would you do it again?” Ted questioned you after you had finished your lap and exited the car. Daniel had helped you out and steadied you on your feet as you felt like gravity had escaped you.

“I can’t lie Ted. I’d do it again right now.”

“Yeah only if Daniel was driving though I bet.” You spun on your foot just in time to see Lando running away from behind you and Daniel. You couldn’t help the blush that quickly overtook your face. You spun back round to the cameras.

“That kid better watch his back is all I’m saying.” You made everyone laugh with that and luckily they cut filming there. Chris came straight over to you and picked you up in a spinning hug before dropping you back down on the ground.

“That was one of the best things I’ve ever seen.” He turned to face Daniel who was still standing beside you and offered out his hand. “You’re a fantastic driver mate, that was really incredible to watch.” Daniel accepted his hand and gave it a firm shake.

“Pleasure to meet you, really big fan of your movies.” He spoke letting his hand go. “Ellie, thank you for joining me in the car today. Hope I didn’t frighten you off too much.” He joked staring deeply into your eyes.

“Not at all, I had so much fun.” Daniel reached for you hand and you could’ve sworn that time slowed to an almost stop as he slowly lifted it up to his lips and placed a gentle kiss on your knuckles.

“I have to get going to practice now, but I’ll see you later yeah?” He was still holding your hand at this point.

“Yes of course, we’re your guests this weekend. Entirely at your disposal.” You internally cringed at what you had just said. You heard a small laugh coming from Chris’ direction. You knew he was going to rip the shit out of you for that later.

“Pleased to hear it.” Daniel was smirking now, still holding your hand which was causing shivers to go through your body. “See you later Ellie.”

You watched as Daniel walked off, turning back to give you one last look before ducking into the McLaren garage. “Entirely at your disposal.” From beside you Chris repeated the words you had just said a few moments ago, only from him they were in a mocking voice. Instead of responding verbally you drove your elbow into his side, earning a whine from Evans beside you.

“I’m going to kill you Evans.”

You were sat in the hotel lobby with Chris waiting for your car to take you out for dinner. You had been invited by the McLaren team to join them for an evening out. Meaning you would be there with the whole team, including Daniel and Lando. You hadn’t really gotten a chance to spend much time with Daniel for the rest of that day. You had just shared a few stolen glances every now and then, much to the amusement of Chris and even some members of the McLaren crew.

As you were waiting you were nervously playing with the hem of your dress. Chris must have been observing you as his voice suddenly pulled you from your own thoughts. “You look great Ellie.”

“Are you sure it’s not too much?” You asked again. You must have asked Chris if you were looking overdressed about 15 times this evening from your journey down from your hotel rooms to the lobby.

“For the 20th time, no. You look perfect. As always. If you’re worried about what Daniel is going to think, I can assure you he’s going to tell you the exact same thing.”

“That is not what I’m worried about at all.” You objected to his words immediately.

“You’ve always been a terrible liar Ellie. It’s surprising to me that you’re such a convincing actress.”

“I don’t know whether to be flattered or insulted by that Evans.”

“Oh it’s most definitely a compliment Ellie.” You and Chris had worked together for years over various projects inside and outside the Marvel universe. He was one of the few people that you trusted in the industry and was very much like an older brother to you.

You were smiling at him as your press manager for the movie came over to inform you that your car had arrived to take you to your destination. You and Chris headed out to dinner.

When you arrived at the restaurant Chris exited the car first and then held out his hand to assist you getting out. You were slightly taken off guard by the flashes of bright paparazzi.

“Did you know there would be press?” You asked Chris as you grabbed his hand and you climbed out carefully.

“I just always assume these days to be honest.” He spoke to you quietly and slid his hand around your waist as the pair of you stood and posed for a couple of photos. Your eyes were scanning the crowd of people when you spotted a certain familiar mop of brown curly head in front of you. You felt a smile overtake your lips as you locked eyes with Daniel. He was watching you fondly as he gave his head a little bow and mouthed hello to you. You let out a small giggle as you mouthed hello back to him before he turned and headed inside.

After you had stood there for the cameras, Chris began to lead you forward towards the doors of the restaurant. When you made it inside you were escorted to a private area at the back of the restaurant where there was a large group of McLaren workers. The woman instructed you that you and Chris would be sat opposite each other which took you by surprise. Your anxiety was already seeping into your head and Chris seemed to notice.

“That okay with you Ellie?” He asked lowering his head to your level slightly sensing your uneasiness.

“Yes, of course it’s fine.” You lied, not wanting to be difficult.

“Okay perfect!” She said clapping her hands together making you jump slightly. “Miss. Love, you’ll be sat next to Daniel just over there and Chris you’re just directly opposite.”

You started to make your way over to where Daniel was and when he noticed you heading his way he got up out of his chair and and pulled yours out for you.

“Oh Daniel, thank you, but you didn’t need to do that.”

“Of course I did” He said with a smile dropping you a cheeky wink before you dropped into your seat and let him help you push it in further under the table.

“What can I get you to drink Miss. Love.”

“Could I get a gin and slimline tonic please?”

“Coming right up.”

“I didn’t take you for a gin and tonic drinker.” Daniel spoke from beside you before taking a sip out of his own glass.

“What are you drinking?”

“Negroni.” You pulled a face at his answer. Which made him chuckle slightly. “Not a fan?”

“That’s such a Dad drink. I’m actually pretty sure that’s a drink my dad has most weekends and now I don’t know how to feel.” He let out a loud laugh at your words.

The evening was going by as smoothly as possible, you had been fighting back the anxiousness all night, but you could feel it growing stronger inside of you. You were unwell and you could feel yourself getting worse as the minutes went by. Chris had been keeping a close eye on you, making sure to jump in to all the questions that were being directed at the two of you so you could do as little talking as possible. He could sense that you weren’t doing too good. However it wasn’t helping and you could feel your chest growing tighter.

You abruptly stood from the table. “Excuse me, I’m just going to get some air.” You smiled and quickly turned on your heel and headed towards the back of the restaurant. Without knowing where you had gone you’d stumbled into the kitchen catching some unusual glances from the chefs that were in there.

“Ma’am you can’t be in here.” One of the chefs spoke however you were blocking out his voice as you could feel yourself becoming lightheaded. You walked through the kitchen towards a door that you were hoping lead to outside and to your luck it did.

As you made it outside you felt yourself take in a breath that you didn’t realise you were holding. You were blinking fast, trying to get you vision back to normal. You couldn’t see and your head was becoming more fuzzy by the second. You could feel yourself losing your balance and you feared you were going to fall right to the ground. Your legs were giving way underneath you and just as you felt you were about to go a pair of arms wrapped around you from behind steady your balance.

“Hey, hey. It’s me kid, it’s me.” You heard Chris speak to you making sure to hold you tightly as he kept you upright. You let out a sigh of relief at his voice.

“I don’t know what happened Chris.” He shushed you gently. “I thought I would be fine this evening. I didn’t feel too bad before we left I swear.” Chris was walking the two of you backwards still holding onto you. “I’m so sorry, this is so embarrassing.”

“Don’t be stupid, this is not embarrassing.” Your vision and balance was coming back and you were able to stand up straighter on your own. You turned around in Chris’ arms and gave him a small smile.

“Okay. I think I’m okay.” You were interrupted by the clearing of someones throat. You turned to were the intrusion came from to see Daniel standing by the door.

“I’m sorry to intrude, I just wanted to make sure that you were okay.”

You smiled at him from where you were and took a small step away from Chris and straightened yourself up. “Yeah, yeah I’m all good. Just felt a bit light headed all of a sudden.” He nodded uneasy at your answer, you were getting the sense that you weren’t being all that convincing. “I actually think I’m gonna head back early if that’s alright guys, feel like a need an early night.”

“Do you want me to call Nia?” You turned towards Chris. “I can get her to bring the car back around.”

“I can take you home.” Both of you turned towards Daniel. “I drove here and I’ve only had one drink, so I’d be fine to drive you home.”

“Ah that’s oka-“

“That would be great thank you.” Chris looked at you with his eyebrows pulled together. You pulled him in for a hug. “Trying to act normal.” You whispered into his ear before pulling away. “I’ll call you tomorrow.” You spoke before walking over to Daniel. You both made your way back over to the group, explaining that you weren’t feeling too good and that Daniel was going to take you home. Everyone chimed in to say goodbye before you headed over to the valet where you waited for them to bring Daniels car round.

You had waited in awkward silence before you were eventually able to get in and head home. yYou had been driving for a while when Daniels voice suddenly broke you from your stare out the window. “Are you okay Ellie?”

“Yeah, I’m fine. I just got a bit lightheaded. It happens sometimes.” You smiled reassuringly at him. “I’m all good I swear.”

“Did you have a good time tonight?”

“I did, thank you for keeping me entertained all night.” You chuckled lightly, resting your head back on the headrest and turning to face him. “I haven’t laughed that much in a long time.” You couldn’t help but stare as the streetlights lit a soft glow over his features. You’d always loved the way he looked. And his nose. That had to be your favourite feature of his by far.

“It was my pleasure. You have a great laugh.” He turned to look at you, slightly surprised by the fact that you were already looking at him. “I’d like to hear it more often.” Your smile grew even bigger at his words.

“You will.”

When you arrived outside the front of your hotel Daniel turned the engine to the car off and turned to face you. “Can I walk you in?” Your heart let out a little flutter at his words.

“Only if you want, but don’t feel like you have to.”

“I definitely want to.” He smiled before hopping out of his side of the car. You undid your seatbelt and went to reach for you handle, but before you could even reach it Daniel was there opening your door for you. He reached his hand down to you and you eagerly accepted it letting him help you out of the car. Only neither of you let go of the others hand, so you walked in towards the elevators hand in hand and waited until the doors opened.

You stood in comfortable silence as you rode up to your level, your hand was still in his and it was making it increasingly difficult for you to keep a clear head. He was consuming all of your senses.

When you reached your floor you both exited and you led him down the hallway towards your door.

“Thank you for walking me back.”

“Of course.” You felt flustered, but before you had the chance to think too much on it you leant forward and gave him a kiss on his cheek a little too close to his mouth. When you pulled away you noticed that his eyes were closed. You let out the smallest of giggles at this which caused him to open his eyes.

“I don’t know what your plans are after the race tomorrow.” You looked into his eyes. “But a few of us normally go out to celebrate and I would love it if you came with me.” He paused and looked down at his hands which he was fiddling with. “As like my date.”

You couldn’t even contain the smile that overtook your mouth. “I fly back to the UK on Monday morning. We have a two week break from filming. So yes, I’d love to.”

He gave your fingers a tight squeeze. “Okay great!” He beamed at you. “I’ll see you at the race tomorrow as well, but I’ll come to pick you up from here at about 9 tomorrow evening.”

“Okay sounds perfect. I’ll see you tomorrow Daniel.”

“I look forward to it Ellie.” You slid your key card into your door lock and slipped inside giving him one final smile before closing the door.
