OOOHHH let me tell you one thing that pisses me off so much but that I'm also obsessed with because it shoves in your face how completely and utterly lost in their bullshit the angels are
OKAY SO ,you know that scene where charlie is pleading her case in the court ?
When the angels agree to keep watching what angel dust will do charlie is so relieved that she shouts "Fuck yeah!" and EVERYONE IMMEDIATELY GIVES HER THE STINK EYE.
Meanwhile do you know how many times Adam swears during that scene? I WON'T COUNT IT BUT IT'S PROBABLY A WHOLE FUCKING LOT
Does ANYONE even pause for a second when he does it? Do they have ANY reaction whatsoever? NO
They are so deeply convinced that the division between angels and demons is fair and right that they would never question an angel , not even when ANGELS go on MURDER SPREES FOR FUN
So obviously when Charlie swears it's wrong , it's a clear demonstration that she is one of THEM , one of those sinful creatures who belong in hell forever.
When Adam swears it's just Adam being Adam. Is he mean and obnoxious? Yes , but he's an angel. Is he a sadistic bitch ? Yes , but he's an angel. Is he a perverted asshole who swears like a sailor ? YES, BUT HE IS AN ANGEL. And that fact alone makes him powerful and worthy and good.

I JUST HAD A REALIZATION FOR HAZBIN
major spoilers for Episode Six under the cut
where I believe Vaggie’s hatred/distrust of men came from
So Vaggie is not only a fallen angel, but a fallen exterminator. She has shown to be very militaristic and harsh, because that’s how she was brought up. But the question is, brought up by who?
Well, i think it’s pretty clear that she and all the other exterminators (who i believe are all women? i can’t remember) were trained/raised by Adam. A misogynistic, arrogant, and frankly downright stupid freak of an angel. And if they’re all women, that means that before hell, Adam was literally the only man she’d ever known.
He’s the only one who recognized Vaggie under the mask. He’s the only one besides Sera that knows about the exterminations. He always has an exterminator by his side. It just makes sense.
He says that Vaggie was one of his best, meaning that he probably gave her special attention that she didn’t want. He also literally named her after the word vagina. Lastly, he was there when her wings and eye were ripped out and, despite her probably being one of his favorites, did nothing to help her.
So yeah, if Adam was the only man I knew and he treated me the way he’s been shown to treat people in this show so far, id have a strong distrust of men, too.

soooo as you might've noticed I've watched ep 5 and 6 of hazbin hotel and i'm
SO HYPED ABOUT IT
and I have so much to say so I should do it here, obviously
with spoilers, obviously
I just adore lucifer and his relationship with charlie and the way they are getting closer during the episode and how charlie is literally dad's daughter and their song is absolutely adorable
alastor and lucifer's duo is iconic as hell(haha)
AND of course this little fun fact of alastor also being on someone's leash that's great and I love how there are more and more mysteries coming out
despite the fact that alastor's confrontation with lucifer about charlie's father figure is most likely manipulation from alastor I hope we see more, you know, human qualities of alastor and learn more about him
I mean we've got this man swore so I don't think it's a big deal now
and also we now know these are the ears, clap clap
despite my sympathy for alastor though... PLEASE NOT HUSK damn alastor got him shaking, poor cat man:(
i love how after ep4 huskerdust are doing this little things like sharing popcorn and giving each other soft looks and stuff that's really good for them and I'm glad they're taking this slow
AND EP 6 OMG
let's just say I'm happy to see that neither all demons or all angels are dicks
and YASSS I adore character development and the way hotel's crew become a family for each other
like the way they try to protect each other in ep5 during the attack or them just having nice time together, you know
also I loved this tiny detail that now, in ep6 angel now is able to openly tell about how hard was his day and have a rest not being afraid of looking weak/not always sexy as fuck AND omg these scene in a club where angel stands up against valen(pls die)tino and calls hotel's crew his friends got me emotional. boy made big progress
and as huskerdust fan I can't help but love the way husker helps angel make right delicious and supports him (these bitches gay, good for them)
i'm excited about feb 2 and upcoming episodes

Nice call back to Hell is Forever in Charlie and Emily's duet!
So, Heaven is corrupt, what else is new hey?
I've loved these two episodes but I can't help but worry that Amazon may have fucked up by only making the season 8 episodes 22 minutes long each, when the story is intriguing and could be explored at a slower pace while still being entertaining :(

First, ALASTOR FUCKING SWORE. It caught me so of guard but the execution was AMAZING. Had me going for a Full 5+mins. Also got to see his more 'evil' side, and what was that about him "being on a leash himself"?? (I think we know why Lilith and Alastor both disappeared 7 years ago)
Also Lucifer is such a goofy guy. He's a sad depressed dad who's misses his wife and daughter, is (rightly) hesitant to trust the angels, but still helps charlie when she needed him. The jealousy he had for Alastor was very amusing.
Ep6
VAGGIE LORE DROP HOLY SHIT! vaggie was an exterminator, and it's been said that she was on earth. That means she ascended to heaven and became an exterminator. How many others are earthborn and not angel born!?? The way vaggie acts militaristic when doing the trust exercises was a big hont towards the angel thing. Especially with how lute? Adam right hand acted.
I was wondering if heaven knew about the extermination, because you'd think some actually good people would be up there and protest it.
Emily is so sweet. I can see her and Charlie working together as things progress.
Angel standing up to Val was BadAss. The boi knew exactly how to work around his contract and it was Beautiful!
(also sir pentious is so sweet, he truly just wants friends and love) (I head cannon that the egg Bois become Nifty's little helpers around the hotel)

Hazbin Hotel Ep 6 SPOILER!!!!!
So, I've developed a new obsession with Hazbin Hotel, and I just watched the 5th and 6th episodes. My mind is buzzing with thoughts, especially regarding the angels.
But first, a round of applause for our favorite boy, Angel Dust. He not only stood up against Valentino but proved himself worthy enough to go to heaven. Like, holy shit, this guy just made the whole haven question if a sinner can be redeemed.
Now, about the angels.
First off, Adam – how is this guy not in hell? He ticks all the boxes:
Gluttony, [Adam eats his rib like a buzzsaw]
Greed,
Adam: Yeah, I've never made a mistake in my fucking life.
Sloth ( didn't bother to come to hell to taDidn't bother to come to hell to talk to charley)
Wrath,
Adam: Did I hear you imply
That they don't deserve death?
Are they Winners?
Are they Sinners?

And for those of us with Divine Ordainment
Extermination is entertainment!
Seriously, this guy seems to have a real passion for taking lives. It's like his favorite hobby or something.

Adam: So, I was playin’ this gig, and for some fuckin’ reason, this virtue chick was diggin’ on the drummer, and it's like, “do you know who I am? I’m fuckin’ Adam. I’m the original dick!” (pointing to his penis down the table) All dicks descend from me. You think you want drummer dick? (Lute shaking her head) No way! I’m the Dick-fuckin’ master! (eats a mouthful of ribs sloppily) So, anyway, then we fucked, and it was awesome. What’d you do this weekend?
Pride. Do I have to say it?
And not only that, he's not in hell; he leads the exorcists like they're his kids.
I don't know if I hate Valentino more than Adam at this point.
Lute. I think that's Adam's daughter, maybe Aclima, since she mentioned, "The only reason you're still here is because daddy gave you and your hellborn kind a pardon from an exorcist blade."
Now, she could be referring to God, but I don't think God is involved in this.
The crucial thing I noticed is that she is the only exorcist who uses swords, unlike the others who use spears.
The swords she uses can kill angels, as seen when she hurt Vaggie, and Vaggie didn't regenerate.
Angels can't be hurt by angelic weapons like spears, or else the demons would have used them to kill angels if they could. Therefore, I think the only things that can hurt and kill angels are these swords, possibly flaming swords.
According to the Bible, a flaming sword was entrusted to the cherubim by God to guard the gates of Paradise after Adam and Eve were banished (Genesis 3:24).
Well, that would mean that Carmilla Carmine either got one or made one, but you need Holy Fire to make one, so I don't know.
In the pilot, Lute had two swords, and then we saw her with one when she attacked Vaggie, so there's that.

Ok so I have a lot of thoughts about Hazbin Hotel episode 6
spoilers below if you haven't seen it!!!
So along with getting Angel sticking up for himself, funny Nifty Shanagins ™, and the banger lyric of "If hell is forever than Heaven must be a lie", we also got some Vaggie lore.
WHAT?!?!?
Like yeah. We all love seeing Angel sticking up to the stupid Moth dude and whatever, BUT THIS!? Not only was Vaggie an angel, but an EXTERMINATOR!!!
And this has raised some thoughts and minor-not-should-be-taken-seriously theories.
One: Are human souls that have entered Heaven allowed to become exterminators? That after being so good in their life they get into Heaven, they just get a job that ha them going down an killing other humans? Like yes they're dead and made horrible choices, but every soul started somewhere. In Heaven or Hell.
If Heaven could excuse their angels killing thousands of people, just because they need to "protect" Heaven or something, then why don't they think a demon could become good? Because clearly the exterminators don't care about the demons. And I doubt Vaggie was the only exterminator that had been alive. So Heaven don't care that their "pure" souls are killing with no remorse, but think it's impossible for a demon to turn good?
I mean some cases in Hell make sense. Ms. Mallberry or whatever her name was in Helluva Boss (can't tell if I spelled that right.) Her husband/boyfriend (can't remember which it was) was having sex with another woman. So she tried to kill the woman. She was angry. People act out when experiencing strong emotions. Doesn't mean you should try to kill someone! But why she did what she did makes sense.
But Heaven doesn't care. I mean, they don't even know how a soul gets into Heaven!
Summary: Vaggie's lore is so interesting, and I want to see more of it. I love Angel, trust me, but Vaggie's story has so much potential and more lore inside of it. I want to see more about her.
And don't get me started on Husk's story! I NEED MORE ABOUT HIM!
