Looking at my friends, with the same adoration one would gaze up at a starry sky
Hoping I could admire their shine for a long long time.

kinda weird how my brain always associates places with things.
Often, when i listen to a song, i'll automatically think of a place where i once listened to it. Not even a memorable place, i'll really just associate one song with a specific turn on my way to uni, another one with a corner of a park...
It also works the other way around, mostly with characters. A bench at my uni is now my tma oc bench, because i sat there one time planning their backstory. A whole garden settlement in my neighborhood is Michael the Distortion territory. The list goes on.
I even sometimes just have the image of a random place in the back of my mind, often without realizing it. That's really a thing that i think will seem super weird to everyone else. I'll just be lost in my thoughts and then i'll think "huh, why am i picturing the terrace of a holiday home i went to 7 years ago?" Again, this happens for no apparent reason, it's often the same places, but not places where anything special or memorable happened. It's almost as if my brain needs a place for my thoughts to be, as if my thoughts wanted to take a walk. Does this make sense to anyone??

I feel like a lazy black cat that's found a warm and breezy spot and just refuses to move.

me: haha I can't be neurodivergent I have never had sensory issues ever lol :3 so I must just be making stuff up
me roughly 5 minutes later when I wear that one pair of trousers that I haven't cut the tag off of: IF I DO NOT TAKE THESE OFF RIGHT NOW I AM GOING TO COMBUST WHY DO THEY MAKE THE TAGS FEEL LIKE THATT
me another 5 minutes later when I cut the tag off and am now okay: haha that was weird, I'm sure that's a very normal experience for everyone though haha

things you love fading from your memory is so sad.
i'll always carry a book or show or movie i love in the back of my mind, but whenever someone asks me to tell them about it, i'll realize how much i've forgotten...
the love is still there, but the more time passes since i last read or watched the thing, the more that love becomes love of a concept instead of the thing itself.
