OVERVIEW: "We collected this beautiful vintage gabbeh rug for its cozy, cool feel. Perfect for the bohemian inspired living room, bedroom, or den. A gabbeh rug is traditionally a sleeping rug. The pile is thick and cozy and hand-spun and woven of 100% sheep's wool. These rugs are popular among the populations of the Zagros Mountains of Iran, including Kurdish, Luri, and Qashqai people. The gabbeh is usually woven by women. The word “gabbeh” comes from the Persian گبه, meaning raw, natural, uncut."

When an impoverished young woman living in exile [Altaluna] is offered an apprenticeship with her estranged great-uncle, the world-renowned sorcerer [Valeriano], she jumps at the opportunity. But, nothing is as promised. Not only does the sorcerer seem uninterested in mentoring her, but the country appears to be teetering on the brink of a war that threatens to draw them both in.
