I met Harper and Amerie when I was five years old, I had been dropped off by my mom, and my curls bounced behind me as I walked through the door being met by the sight of a girl with brown hair pointing at a picture that was on the blond girls' paper.
"What's that?" even if you weren't looking at her face you could tell that she was judging immensely, I walked up table peering over her shoulder.
"It's a crocodile" The blond blinked up at them, then frowned looking back down at her paper.
I narrowed my eyes as I tried to imagine the animal I looked at the green blob, "It's shit" being brutally honest, knuckles bumping the ones of the girl next to me in a fist bump. We both grin at each other as the blond across from us flips us off.
We've been best friends ever since.

Amerie's nose scrunches, "Piss off, Spider" she snaps.
The blond clutches his heart dramatically, falling into his best friend's arms, "Ooh!"
I watch as Dusty walks over to the girl making small talk, I walk up as the girls start giggling and walking away, not even paying any attention to the fact that they had just bumped into Quinni.
"What a pick-me bitch. Also rude" Darren companies
"Maybe they didn't see us?" Quinni questions obliviously, looking after the girls.
"Oh, please. Check the material" They gesture to themselves, "We are beautiful, exquisite jellyfish"
"Glittery, glowing jellyfish" I chime in walking up to them.
"Amithest!" Quinni pulls me into a hug and Darren gives me a one-over, "What are we doing, going back in time?" They point at my black and white outfit.
I sigh dramatically, "It's all that fits me right now" placing a hand over my heart.
"You can't sit with us!" Darren playfully shreaks, crossing their arms over their chest, turning away.
I was about to retort when something caught my eye, "Ooo, fresh blood" I said looking at the new boy up and down.
Darren's lips parted as they were about to sit something, I'll never know what it was because someone started yelling.
"Oi! There's a fully-gacked sex map in the old stairwell!"
"Out of my way, you shits" I huff as I struggle against the crowd, I shove a guy out of my path causing him to fall into his friends, whispers forming around me, I look up at the map my mouth agape in aw, "What in the kid's helpline?"
It was a map of everyone who fuck everyone, a girl's name had a little note that read 'Couldn't walk for three days' I snorted at that, "That's true" Someone chimed in pointing at it.
"Cum queen!" A guy cheers from the back
I could hear Spider reading things off of the wall, "Jenny got fisted!" he clapped a guy on the back, Jesus "Mary's a good screamer-"
"We already knew about that" I chime in and he pushes my face away from him with his hand, "Dam check out Sasha's body count" He points. Dusty's mouth is agape as he looks at it, "Oh my god, what?" I giggle at his face before turning at the sound of a commotion.
"You scissored Greta Bathgate? Before or after we broke up?"
"I don't remember."
"You don't remember?"
"I'm pretty sure we were on a break, but... Wait, Missy."
"Nah, I need space, man."
"Oh shit," I let out a gasp, I elbow Spider in the ribs as he started laughing pointing to a name on the wall, "Dude, Darren jerked you off? Nice bro, Darren jerked you off? Nice bro, you into dudes?" He wraps an arm around Ant, "A little cheeky, huh?"
Darren sharply turns around, "Who said I'm a dude?"
"Quinni, lazy kebab," a boy said somewhere from in the crowd.
Quinni came up beside them and started talking, but Amethyst didn't hear her she couldn't hear anything over the ringing in her ears as she looked at the map, and alas she had found her name on the map.

I also love how the abortion arc was approached. I’ve seen a couple people talking about it (because I didn’t avoid spoilers very well) and I love so much how it was never a conflict of what she wanted to do about it (and to be clear, that’s a different story that’s also worth telling, I’m just glad this story got told here!) and no one ever questioned her. The focus wasn’t on the emotional torment of “oh am I horrible or immoral for this?” it was on the physical pain she went through and how people who loved her supported her through it. Yeah, it was a dick move for Malakai to assume her intentions when she came over to talk to him, but when she was doubled over in pain in the quad, he didn’t freak out, he just did exactly what she asked him to. And I just love the way the story was told and the way it evolved Harper and Amerie’s relationship as well as Amerie and Malakai’s.
(Also it’s lowkey comforting as hell to see this sort of thing normalized as a (not easy, but very real) part of reproductive health.)

Brodie was a very sensitive yet outgoing kid. His sensitivity wasn’t geared in physical pain, but more-so in the ways that made him stand up to the bullies on the playground who picked on the more introverted kids. It was because of this, that he was seen as a leader at the mere age of 4 and also earned him his best friend, Elliot.
As he grew, his teachers and peers favored him for his golden heart and puppy dog smile. His popularity skyrocketed, but he had his mom and dad to thank for the blueprint of his personality. His father, Kenji Sato, was the textbook definition of chivalry and had a very go-getter viewpoint of the world with a good head on his shoulders. His mother, Emily Sato, was always putting others first, walked as if sunshine was beneath her feet, and could make even the coldest of hearts crack a smile. Between his father and mother, Brodie was the golden boy in town. What else would one expect from the county’s fire chief and nurse practitioner’s boy?
Though he lost his father to a fire when he was only 7, Brodie was forced to grow up as he watched his mother slowly fall apart. At first, she just laid on the couch and stared at the wall for what felt like months on end; Brodie then becoming the caretaker until she was able to go to work. It was strange watching her grieving process change from not wanting to move, to then being nonstop. It felt almost close to normal, that was until she brought home a baby from the hospital. In the blink of an eye, Brodie became a master of many hats; not only stepping up to not let his mom down, but also trying to be the best older brother he could be for the new addition to the Sato family.
They were a little broken, but they made it work. And by ‘they’ I mean Brodie. When his sister needed help on a school project, he was there. When his sister skinned her knee, he was there. Brodie was the constant that showed up when their mother’s busy nurse schedule kept her at bay. When the world checked out, Brodie was always there to make sure his sister wasn’t alone.
If it wasn’t his teammates, then it was Elliot who attempted to get Brodie to live a little. Always doing the right thing and being everyone’s walking conscious was tiring after all, but Brodie hadn’t strayed from the straight and narrow. Even with the shelved grief and the need to be a good role model and caretaker for Harper, Brodie never stepped out of line. That was, until the senior year homecoming game. Being the captain of the hockey team, it only made sense that he had friends in other sport teams. It was serendipitous that the football team practically paired off with the hockey team in the realm of friendships; the quarterback happening to be none other than Elliot. When they won, the party seemed to get a little out of control. Brodie drank for the first time, but didn’t necessarily know when to stop. At least he wasn’t as fucked up as his best friend was.
Brodie still plays it back in his head. How he laughed when Elliot mentioned going on the quad together. How Elliot managed to sway him and put the only helmet on him so he can drive. How Elliot’s last words were that it was going to be alright, right before they crashed head-on into a tree.
Ultimately, it was just more grief and now guilt that she shelved, but he started to crack. By the time he was in The University of Queensland for his undergrad, Brodie was always high or drunk. He lost his love for hockey, over-trained his body when he barely ate. He became a drug dealer when he dropped out of college, owing someone and then falling into the scheme to pay them back for all the drugs he just 'put on his tab.’ He was able to pay the person off, but the money and easy access was too hard to not pass up.
Brodie was able to gather up the strength to get clean…. once…. twice… The relapses hit so hard, he almost gave up before he got into a trade school and became a mechanic. Now living in Brisbane, Brodie is trying to navigate being on a tightrope of sobriety under the radar.

Fun-loving and a bit of a himbo, the Sato male genuinely is benevolent despite the melancholy hold on his brain. He’s protective of those he cares about, though it can be over-bearing. Brodie is dauntless to the degree of craving danger; He loves to drag race in the early AMs of the night life and is actually known for this amongst a specific population of night owls. He tries to keep people at an arm’s length because he’s petrified of losing people, and tends to hideaway from time to time if it becomes too overwhelming. He loves his coffee black, and though he may seem dull-minded he’s actually very street smart. OKAY SO UH I HATE TO DO THIS BUT THIS IS AN ADDITION TO THIS POST
First thing first, I’m changing up the order I’m going to do the stories. Which means I’m adding new stories and making them my top priority, everything will stay the same order but these new stories are going to on top. So here the stories that’s are being adding.
The Long Forgotten Lover
A story about the TikToker Ish, his account can be found here, his name is Ish, he is my comfort person, my guardian angel. (If someone from the Ishness commun-cult aka Ishnessarmy, it’s me midnightchoi from twitch, just in case if you guys want to tell him to where he can find outside of twitch!) This is a Ish x oc story, you’ll be able to find it on here, wattpad, and Ao3, this story will have the aspect of soulmate au, but because I’m a total bitch I’m not explaining yet. This is going to be my number one priority until I needs to take a break from it or I finish it.
A Ghost From The Past
Okay so this is going to be a Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn story where the quads once had a best friend since they were in daycare, but before the pilot the best friend left before elementary school, the best friend comes back a senior of high school, this will most likely be a nicky harper x oc, maybe a reader, but I have a idea for an oc so it’ll most likely to be that. Since it’ll be taking place after the finale episode, I will be taking liberty on stuff, and everyone will be age up to 18, I’m using 18 because of where I live you graduate at the age of 18, so with that there will be adult content, like sex, swearing, partying, smoking, and maybe more, I have to start writing it. Like I said above for Ish, this will take all of my attention.
With that’s being said, I will occasionally switch between posting one chapter of one of these chapters, but everything else on the original post about which stories are going to be in the same order. Though I will post chapters of these chapters, I’m going to post the chapters of these stories in this exact order in between the Ish story and Nicky. Unless I finished one of these . But most likely going to be in this order.

Why you might see ATVs driving on some streets in Shediac, N.B.
Drivers can now use off-road vehicles on some streets in Shediac, N.B., as the town looks to increase the use of nearby provincial trails.
The bylaw comes after debate and approval by town council, a public information meeting in October, and final approval by the province’s Department of Justice and Public Safety.
“With so many improvements to the trails system for off-road vehicles, we needed to ensure that access was improved in order to maximize their use by tourists and others who travel between communities on them,” said mayor Roger Caissie, in a news release.
“As well, public safety is of utmost importance, so we need to ensure that drivers of these off-road vehicles know and obey the rules of residential area traffic. Following discussions with various stakeholders, including Quad NB, the RCMP and the Province of New Brunswick, we’re confident that can be done.”
All-terrain drivers cannot go over 40km/h, must drive in the same direction as traffic and have to stay on the “extreme right” side of the road, according to the Town of Shediac. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license, proof of registration, insurance and a trail pass. Both drivers and passengers also have to wear a helmet.
According to the town, the new bylaw allows all-terrain vehicles on:
Riverside Drive between Lino Road and Webster Street
Webster Street, Harper Drive, Chesley Street between Webster Street and Main Street
Donat Street, du Vestiaire Street between Donat Street and Main Street
Sackville Street between Harper Drive and Main Street
Weldon Street between Main Street and Belliveau Avenue
Belliveau avenue between Weldon Street
Pleasant Street, Bellevue Heights and Pellerin Road
All-terrain drivers have to comply with all provincial Off-Road-Vehicle Act regulations.
The president of the Greater Shediac Chamber of Commerce says opening up some streets to off-road traffic is good for tourism and will make it easier to get to gas stations and restaurants.
“There are people who travel quite long distances on their off-road vehicles along New Brunswick’s trails system,” said Sophie Belliveau-Doiron, in the release.
“We need to adapt as a town in order to accommodate them and the business they bring to our area. This is a large, untapped opportunity for us, and I’m pleased to see these forward-thinking regulation changes while ensuring public safety.”
