like not to get deep on main but like… it’s not been as Easy Breezy Beautiful! Covergirl tm as one would wish, but I’ll be damned if I’m not gonna try and be genuine and bring any little fuckin joy and kindness in the world. There’s just… so much shit of all kinds and it can be so easy to fall into believing that people (and life) are cruel and uncaring and that it doesn’t matter and it’s not worth trying. That you’re wrong and foolish for still hoping and wanting there to be softness and kindness and love. For hoping and wanting people to love you wholly and hold your hand, and wanting to do the same for others. It’s enough to make you feel like you’re fucking drowning sometimes.

But… fuck, it’s all these little things that build up and up and hopefully click into something more, isn’t it? A heart’s a heavy burden— it gets a little easier when you can find things that bring some softness.

When you find people who want to see it and polish it up a little, and say “you’re not weak or silly or wrong. You deserve this.” People you can share your overflowing heart with; people who want to help carry it. Who want to hold you close and willingly look at your scarier parts and still be able to look you in the eyes and say it’s okay.

It gets a little easier when you’re a little gentler with yourself. When you go farther in lightness.
