A long over-due ask compilation (Art & Music)
It's vaguely based on a short story from the book "The Consumer" by Michael Gira, specifically "The Boss". I think it came up in conversation with a friend or something when I was picking a new username, so that's how we arrived at it - this was almost a decade ago so, my memory on it is a little hazy!

I BELIEVE this little guide I put together over here might be helpful to you, also! I touched on pretty much everything you brought up.
As for reference material when it comes to facial expressions, I have a mirror next to my desk which I glance at often and make weird faces at LOL and for consistency, it's really a matter of learning to dissect and remember facial structure. It's just something you end up developing an eye for when you've done it for long enough! Naturally, if we're talking about drawing existing characters, it's always helpful to just look at some pictures of their mugs and take a minute to define what features about them make their faces recognizable - I touch on this at the link above as well!
I do plan on making a "drowstarion" (love that, by the way LOL) playlist eventually, life's just been kicking my ass and I hardly have the time 😭and when I do, I just wanna draw.
Otherwise I don't have any other playlists floating around at the moment, BUT the one my boyfriend made for his Vellioth comic can be found here, and it might scratch a similar itch!
Thank you! I believe this was in reference to this post. Something like that takes me about... An hour??? If we're talking just the colors, at least. Though that's a really rough estimate because I take a lot of breaks, so my sense of time when I work ends up pretty skewed. Even if the application of the colors themselves took less than 20 minutes I probably spent 2 hours just staring at it LOL.
My friend, I have no idea. I'm in a constant battle between "I want to draw more realistically" and "I want to simplify my art so I can draw more/faster". What you see is the result of that ongoing brain-tug-of-war.
Also, just the way I assume everyone else develops theirs - they see stuff they like and emulate it until their art is Frankensteinish enough to be it's own unique thing!
I'm far from a Type O Negative buff, BUT I'm happy to share some of my favorites with you! They're quite scattered across a couple of their albums so I'm not sure I have a favorite, but I would say October Rust is a good starting point.

Alas, I was one of those people who was already drawing in kindergarten 😅 though I would say I only started taking it seriously when I was around 15-16 years old. As someone who has tried their hand at several other hobbies since reaching adulthood, I get what you're saying that it can kinda feel like... You missed the wagon? I've felt that way about all kind of things lol
That said, I've seen adults managing to develop their art skills extremely fast and effectively before. Understanding where and how you need to improve, and how to follow lessons/guides best is something that is vastly improved by maturity and knowing how to best hone your time, attention, and resources - and those are skills we completely lack as children. So, I sincerely believe that as long as you commit yourself, you can definitely get to a point that you're happy with in a couple of years if not less.
JUST DO IT BUDDY we are all just people looking through a screen and you won't ever see, talk, or meet 99% of the folks who ever clap eyes on what you post. Whenever you start getting nervous about sharing something, take a minute to ask yourself why you're nervous, and if none of the reasons have any genuine substance besides being afraid of what people "might think", just go ahead and post it. You're no mind-reader after all, and if you are, I doubt you can hear what a guy from Argentina or wherever is thinking about the art you made.
Point is, nobody online can touch you 🤷and if someone doesn't like what you do, they can simply choose to not interact with it, and if they do you can block and move on. There are zero reasons for you to feel "bad" about putting up a doodle when our experiences on the web are so easily curated nowadays.

Hello there!!
I'm Starrzies, but I also go by Rodimus!! Of these two names I prefer my nicknames (Starrz/Roddy) more than the formality of my full username/chosen name!! I'm 19 and a full time college student! (I want to become a Forensic Pathologist!) My pronouns are He/They ONLY and my chosen gender identity is Demiboy! I'm also Aroace, my specific labels being Cupioromantic/sexual!
I'm just a silly little guy trying to do his best. I am a hobbyist artist and writer and I love to share what I come with in the hopes that other people will enjoy it as much as I do! I tend to post art related to my own characters, art I've done for other people and - more rarely - fandom related art! I also stream on Twitch!!! Usually it's art streams (especially for Art Fight!) or me playing my games - either solo or with other people! I do have a Discord server full of my friends, mutuals and people interested in my stuff and community! Feel free to come join :) I'm on basically on every platform (maybe not active, but I'm there!)
My special interest (been into it for as long as I can remember) is Transformers!! It will almost always show up at some point! I'm also super into Lego Monkie Kid, Overwatch and Genshin Impact!! (The last of the 2 I on and off play!) I tend to reblog content form these 4 fandoms! (They're the main 4 but I may branch out!)
I try and be super friendly! Really, I don't bite, but I do have a very limited social battery! So conversations may not last very long when it comes to talking! I also sometimes just don't have the energy to reply. If I don't reply then it's nothing against you, I promise!! That being said I AM TOTALLY OPEN TO BEING FRIENDS/MUTUALS!! Please note, if you are younger than 18 I will NOT be your close friend, close mutuals at most. This is just due to safety! (Pre-established friends before I became an adult are still a nd will remain my friends.)
Pets! I own,,, a few. Just a small little amount. They're all my babies though and I adore them. I do my beast to take proper care of them and give them long, happy and fulfilling lives! Hiraeth and Ravage both came from litters I've raised! (Hiraeth being an accident and Ravage from a foster litter.) Ember was my sibling's cat but became mine because she just,,, likes me more? My other pets were 100% intended! All of these guys are spoiled rotten,,,

I've been in relationships before! However, I generally only feel platonic love for people around me. I genuinely love (/p) all of my friends and you'll see me make that very clear! I am NOT interested in relationships, especially after this most recent one. Things have gotten complicated AF and I don't even want to bother entertaining anyone.
I have a Decepticon Insignia Tattoo on my left wrist! My first tattoo ever and I LOVE it so much! I will be going back in October for hopefully, my second tattoo!
I own a 2001 Ford Mustang!! It's a convertible too! I ADORE my car so much and there is so much I have planned for it!!
I own 4 dogtags! They are NOT military related at all though! They just have special meaning to me and I've been wearing them since 2018! I did actually let someone borrow one of them for a decent amount of time but it was returned to me! I don't think I'm ever going to let them go again, they mean too much to me.
Ravage is named after the TF character! :D He was my little gaming buddy back when I was fostering a litter of kittens for my senior project. I ended up keeping him, I got too attached. Now he is best friends with Ember!
Hiraeth was a TOTAL accident. I was supposed to just have her mom but she was pregnant much to our surprise! (Someone was getting rid of her, probably because they knew she was pregnant, and gave her to us without telling us that lol) I was allowed to keep Hiraeth but none of the other cats were allowed :( They all went to loving homes though!
Discord is my main, preferred way of communication!! I always have it open on my second monitor so I tend to respond really quickly on there :) You should totally add me on there! I'm under the same username ;)

As it usually happens on here, we become fans of things by osmosis if we didn't seek it out for ourselves. So I've been following you for a bit and I have finally crossed the threshold from "this person I follow really loves this media and I love seeing their love for it on my dash, so glad they're having fun" over to "I wanna have fun, too." And that's all thanx to @thatgothsamurai's photobooth art.
So, I hope you can guide me on where I should start with patpran and inkpa, and the rest. Like, are they on separate shows that crossover? A spinoff? Like, what's going on, where do I start, how do I watch. Like you, I'm in the US. Any suggestions are appreciated.

okay so both patpran and inkpa are canon pairings from the thai bl bad buddy and its related special episodes! all are produced by the thai production company gmmtv.
the show and all related episodes are available to watch on youtube with english subtitles - i'll link to relevant playlists.
THE MAIN SHOW: BAD BUDDY THE SERIES
directed by "aof" noppharnach chaiyahwimhon (who is gay himself), and starring "nanon" korapat kirdpan as pran, and "ohm" pawat chittsawangdee as pat. the original show is twelve episodes, which aired from october 2021 to january 2022. i watched it for the first time in february 2022 and have not known peace every since
the premise is that pat and pran, who have lived next door to each other since birth, have been rivals all their lives because their families hate each other. after pran's sent off to boarding school for three years, they are unexpectedly reunited at university - where they find that their friend groups are also enemies, so they have to keep up the pretense of hating each other. but of course they fall in love instead!
the main story is about patpran, but inkpa is a canon side pairing featuring "love" pattranite limpatiyakorn as pa, pat's younger sister, and "milk" pansa vosbein as ink, a classmate of pat and pran's. though they get less screentime, i still think they have a delightful romantic arc themselves!
SPECIAL EPISODES
zero photography: an inkpa special episode that is set after the main show. directed by "tee" bundit sintanaparadee, whom i don't know much about, and aired in august 2022
our skyy x bad buddy x a tale of thousand stars: so our skyy 2 was an anthology of special episodes released between april and june 2023 for a bunch of different gmmtv bls. each show was supposed to have two special eps for their characters, but since two shows directed by p'aof were getting special eps (the other one being a tale of thousand stars, also a delightful show), he decided to use four episodes as a crossover of the two shows. in the bad buddy timeline, these eps take place during a timeskip that happens in the original show between episodes 11 and 12, and features patpran but has a few great inkpa appearances too. you don't really need to have seen atots to understand the eps, i don't think? but they probably are more enjoyable if you have haha
EXTRAS
"just friend" music video: nanon sings two songs on the bad buddy soundtrack, and ohm sings one for our skyy 2, all of which have music videos, but i'm linking to this song of nanon's particularly because the music video its own story unrelated to the show at all! it's very cute and is basically an au where they are employees at the same hotel (and in love of course)
23.5 degrees the series: this is not technically related to bad buddy, but milk and love are going to be starring in gmmtv's first full-length gl, 23.5 degrees, which will be directed by "fon" kanittha kwunyoo (who i believe is a lesbian)! thai gls are just starting to get attention and backing by the major tv studios, and milklove's known chemistry from playing inkpa, as well as an exciting supporting cast and director, are making everyone super excited for this
there are also TONS of behind-the-scenes and making-of extras if you get into the show but i figured this was enough to start with :D

Alright, this is it, the last of the Buddies.
This, the Buddy for May 11th, marks the end of this little project. It's my 366th upload. As a compilation of all of my previous drawings (you might need to open it in a new tab to see it better), it technically breaks the rule of using only white, black and red, thanks to compression issues on the drawings for March 18th and September 9th. But, well, I figured I did post stuff that didn't break that rule those days, so it doesn't matter. Besides, the project's finished now.
There are some good ones there too, although a lot of them are traces, so I won't be counting those. I liked the pin for May 18th, that's something I had been working on before I started, and I still think it looks better and more polished than my actual art. The sketchy drawing for May 17th is good too, even if it's kind of phoned in.
May 27th looks cute, and June 17th was a good idea, even if the implementation was a bit lazy; but at least it wasn't a trace for once. June 23rd was cool, though I wish I had made it a gif. Lack of time, I guess.
The woman in July 15th looks pretty good, and the gif for July 25th is pretty badass, even if it was a simple one. July 29th was one of my funniest ideas. I like the shading for September 7th. September 19th and October 1st were also female figures, I'm proud enough of those. Some of the drawings on the template for October 3rd were good. October 16th looks pretty good, something I'd use on a comic.
The first "strip" on October 23rd was a pain to make, but I like the joke in it. The nerdy relationship map on November 15th was fun, but it was more for my benefit, not really special, art-wise.
December 1st was different from my usual style, I like it, even if the anatomy is pretty wrong. The tarot cards on December 17th were an earlier project, but also really nice.
The lighting on the drawing for December 20th was fun to make too. January 16th looks really simple, but I like the vibe of it. The strip for February 3rd was an idea I'm also proud of. More women, on February 11th, 19th and 28th. The negative colors effect on Mach 4th worked better than I expected, too.
I think the gif on March 22nd worked well enough, although I rushed it. The joke on March 26th was something that was on my mind for some time.
There was the strip on April 10th with different versions under the main post, those were nice enough. The gif on April 12th was hard to make, and I'm not too happy with it, but it was an ambitious idea..
The Buddy for May 8th looks the closest to what I had wanted to do as a proper webcomic, so I'm happy with it, although there was some trouble making it, and I was pretty bored with the project already.
But, the best Buddy of the year, in my opinion, was, funny enough, the one for January 23rd. The Rob Liefeld parody. It's funny cause I drew it so it'd look crappy, and, well, it does, but still better than my usual art, just with more lines and cliché Liefeld stuff. Pretty XXXtreme.
It's weird that one of my earlier comic ideas was a Liefeld parody, where a seemingly-normal person would get involved in the world of Liefeld badasses and contrast those comics' anti-logic with the real world. I wrote a lot of it, but gave up about 2/3rds in. Not that there's much point in mocking Rob Liefeld nowadays, anyway.
I'm not sure what'll become of this tumblr now. I'm trying to keep focused on art and distance myself from online dumpster fire discourse, so I'm trying to fill out my new sketchbooks for now.
Anyway, thanks for all the likes throughout the year, I appreciate the interest from everyone who found my silly little OC entertaining enough.

Art Summary 2023
shoutout to the one month were i drew fanart and then everything else was just dnd content again lmao (also shoutout to me being late to posting this haaaaa)
2023 wasn't the best year for me personally. between money problems and job searching, health issues, mental health issues, unintentional discomfort at my new job, and the overall issues of the world it just hasn't been great and I felt it heavily in my creativity. I never really had any creative highs this year outside of artfight (and even then i felt like i didn't do well) which only fed into some of the issues I was having.
But looking back I am really happy with most of what I made! Sure I didn't draw much but hey I think I popped off when I did!
So here is to 2024! Already off to a good start in the art department and even if I slow down at least I've had fun so far!
(i was gonna put me gushing about things in tags but its a lot so i'm doing a read more this post is already so damn long lmao i'm sorry)
okay i'm here to gush about two pieces at a time and their contents cause then make me happy to look at so lets get started on that with march and september 'cause hey! look at the relationship development of my little goblin guy!
march was when kk (tic's best friend and now boyfriend) first appeared to the rest of the party outside of just tic talking about him. literally the entire party could see that kk was in love with tic and was just like "oh buddy sorry about that" 'cause tic was a dumbass and romance was just never something he thought about until meeting the party. then we flash forward to september where the two confessed to each other after what really felt like the end of tic's story arc. at least it felt that way to me 'cause he reached his goal of killing groll and becoming the king of goblins but i know he still has shit to do I'M LOOKING AT YOU TRAVELLER AND RIP! but yeah that was the whole reason he left and it was done. he did it! but it almost cost him kk and the two ended up having a really important talk about it. kk chewed tic out and spilled his guts and i still think about it a lot holy shit it was so good omfg but it was in that moment that it clicked for tic. that if he had actually lost kk he had no idea what he would do, that he felt like his whole life would fall apart without him. and just man it was good wholesome content. congrats to the goblins for being the first canon relationship! (even tho they were not the first confession that one goes to rhami!)
now that that block of the text is out of the way we get to more depressing ones, those being january and october with my guy, dr. cecil wilfree.
its just.... man. what do i even say about him. january was probably the last moment before his life went into a full downward spiral, eventually leading into his demise. that piece isn't even anything major but rather something like a reminder going "hey, remember when wilfree had two normal eyes? good times!" and just man (-insert that image of a horse standing on the beach-) compare that to where he's at in october and knowing what happened in those 10 months? january he still had trust and hope, he believed that he was going to get back home and help river out with his plague, maybe even get aster home if she'd let them, maybe find a way to cure himself and help casey. but by the end there was no hope and he found out that he had been used, was nothing more than a tool for someone who he trusted, despite knowing that he really shouldn't have. river was dead and it was his fault (at least in his mind it was), he had failed to protect aster and traumatized both her and willow, and he could do nothing to save an entire population from being wiped off the face of the map. and he caved under the guilt. he gave up. its sad to see him alive and pissy in january and then look at december and see a shell of the same man, no more thoughts in that head as his mind got disconnected from his body and self.
and then for extra sads we've got december which was his birth month, so i drew something from a time before the campaign. back when he was alive and well, no soul curse and unknowing of the horrors yet to come, and receiving a gift from someone whose life he could soon destroy due to his own hubris.
anyway! pay no mind to may! i didn't draw a damn thing that whole month!

i understand you completely! it's the same for me except i'm a native english speaker lmao. but the fact that you're willing to write a story in english despite it being your 3rd language is already an impressive feat, you should be proud! here's a protip in case you need it, consider searching these terms if you find yourself unable to properly convey your thoughts into your writing: (insert word or phrase here) synonym, (insert word or phrase here) definition, (insert word or phrase here) antonym. don't worry about it though really, i do think that art is challenging and difficult to create - be it drawing, writing or videos - it does require a lot of practice and studying to be able to reach a certain level of skill but it doesn't matter as long as you keep trying and giving your best! at the end of the day, more than anything else i think effort is of the utmost importance and it'll definitely reflect in one's works. i'm wishing you the best and i look forward to what you have in store <3 will you be posting it on ao3? the mods will add it to the sukugoweek collection if you tag your work with sukugoweek2023. i found out that they'll be accepting submissions until january 3rd so there's still plenty of time left! if you wish to post more than 1 fic, please feel free to do so too. they also just added a special prompt for gojo's birthday, you might want to use it if the opportunity arises haha. aw it's no problem, i'm happy to know that i was able to help you in some way <3 yes i feel you, these bitches had me in a chokehold since 2021 when i first got into jjk! it's going to be my 3rd year of brainrot soon in a couple of months, time flies so fast...

i might have underestimated how long this is going to be. My plan was a one shot and a little bonus chapter/epilogue-ish thing. But we will see. Maybe i have to split the main chapter.
I think i started to ship them around October 27th, so I'm a sukugo baby. It's the first gojo ship I'm really invested in. I'm fond of nanago but it's just that.
(Shout-out to 0bstinate for this one sukugo on 'it is not enough to love you' post. That really got my gears turning... you're a hero)
And then it his my lika a truck. They have everything I'm into: enemies-to-lovers, honoured/fallen one, red+blue, canabilism as love language (bc i like them a little fucked up), monsterfuckery, i hate everyone but you, unhinged x unhinged, corruption/redemption etc. let's be honest their fight was basically foreplay. Archenemies? Kinda gay if you ask me.

But to answer your question: yes I'm going to post in on ao3. Because fuck anxiety, we are so back bitches. And I'm a people pleaser and you encouraged me, so you are my people to please. Sorry buddy but you are not getting out of it now.

Child hood
despite the last name she is actually Malleus’s cousin not sister however due to her parents rather unhealthy treatment of Matilda in her young age she fell under Lilia’s care.
her parents were in love with each other an loved Matilda when she was in the egg. but because of there circumstances they were in (the war) they put heavy pressure on Matilda.
one a fea doctor one a powerful fea mage they put pressure on Matilda to be the same to never settle then anything less then perfection. they got her addicted to coffee at such a young age despite the fact it no longer makes her awake in any sense of the word she still drinks it. she was only allowed out briefly for exercises which she would use to sneak off an play with kids in a near by village.
she was close with one child in particular human child who was always sickly even though they couldn’t run around like the other kids Matilda found herself spending the most time with this child. Matilda could tell that there condition was getting worse, with the amount of studying she did on the regular she saw a book mentioning that fairy dust or horns could have healing properties. She didn’t give it much thought after that using her own magic to sever one of her horns in half an gave that horn to her friend.
“this will heal you!”
that was probably the most optimistic Matilda had sounded in her life however that didn’t last. the child died that very night holding onto Matilda’s horn, the Child was buried with that horn.
Sense then nothing she did was ever good enough after all she couldn’t save the one thing the one person she cared about. her parents were no help on the matter saying that it was a waste to spend such effort on a human.
Mallenoa stepped in furious that family of hers would treat there own child in such an awful way. "do you not love your own child!?" she rescued Matilda from them an just like Mal had Lilia take care of her.

Matilda is still addicted to coffee she is usually seen with tired eyes an a coffee mug in her hands. she’s tall an muscular though she only really throws down when harshly provoked or if you bring up a sore spot(her horns are a good example of that).
despite her constant exhaustion she gets good grades all around more often or not she tends to have to tutor Silver sense he passes out him class all the time.

Matilda unsurprisingly gets along very well with Riddle sense they had similar parenting situations she can sympathize with him. they don’t speak much Riddle is a dorm leader an all but Matilda respects him.
She tolerates Ace’s shenanigans mostly she just feels bad that Duece ends up getting caught in the crossfire. she can tell he’s working hard even if it’s slower then most.
despite not being one for drama an barely using her magi account cater an Wendy( @oriigirii )often have a gossip corner. though it mostly consists of Cater an Wendy gossiping an Matilda just vibing an drinking coffee.

Matilda only wishes she could sleep as well as Leona does she needs someone to at least be in the room with her if Matilda wants any sleep. so she’s only a tiny bit envious of Leona. Leona first impression when seeing Matilda for the first time "oh god there is two of you?" also calls her lizard from time to time. in an odd way makes her happy that Leona treats her like her brother.
Lilia will sometimes limit Matilda’s coffee intake in a day so Matilda pays Ruggie in advanced to pass her coffee during class. mutual beneficial relationship seems to there MO.

Matilda’s relation ship with the octotrio is an interesting one to say the least a story worth sharing sense all three share a part in this story.

Before the hat could hit the ground Matilda turned around wined up her fist an punched Floyd Square in the chest sending him flying into the tables behind him. Matilda reached down grabbed her hat placed it back on her head an turned back to face Azul “i’ll pay you back for the tables as well-”
“she’d make a great enforcer if Floyd were ever in a bad mood” Jade said with a smile seemingly not worried with the fact this woman just sent his brother flying.
“i was thinking the same thing!” Azul said drawing up a contract as they spoke “work for me as an enforcer as well as kitchen staff you’ll not only get potions but minmum wage!”
“ Matilda Draconia?” Jade cued “i wasn’t aware Malleus had siblings-”
this wasn’t quite the deal she was expecting “do i get free coffee to?”
“i don’t see why not!” Azul said gleefully

Problems like Sebek thinking her word like Malleus's is the most important one out there so takes what she says way to seriously.
Silver tries to help Matilda sleep better an Matilda tries to help Silver not doze off so much. but usually it results in them falling asleep on each other while they study.

an she will never ever tell Wendy this but Wendy reminds Matilda of the human friend she had lost all those years ago. probably why she acts so violently to anyone who so much as looks at Wendy the wrong way. she almost beat a student half to death because they punched him Wendy had to calm her down.
Wendy!!! Wendy is a very important friend to Matilda an not just because he buys her coffee all the time. Wendy is probably one of her best friends she can actually be herself around Wendy an not feel judged for doing so. they fly together sometimes talk a lot a lot!! Wendy mostly talking about his crush an gossip around school an what color he’s gonna paint Matilda’s nails!!
Matilda listens an tries to give questionable advice, one time she could tell Wendy was in a sad mood instead of asking what was wrong she tried a more direct method. she picked up Azul an chucked him at Wendy with her thought processes being “now that they are close they can have a date an Wendy will be happy!” she’s an interesting wingman to say the least.

IT'S ME, CLARK!
There is a madness deep in the dark catacombs of Castle Clarkenstein. For years these claustrophobic corridors have been the home of the ghoulish giraffe himself, watching as the world passes by. He prefers it this way. It gives him more time alone with the voices. The voices tell him many strange things. Yet they always come back to one: make more monsters! Everyday they tell him this. Everyday he is unable to comply. Hey, being a mad scientist on a budget means he can’t afford the fancy scientific equipment needed to breathe life into newborn abominations. Guy’s gotta afford pizza somehow. Luckily, he has discovered a way of sorts to please the voices. During all those years of watching, Dr. Clarkenstein noticed a particular pattern. Every night during October saw artists posting new pictures based on peculiar prompts. Many of them based on children of the night. While the spotted specter might not be able to craft new zombies, he can sure as heck sketch’m! As such, I provide this friendly warning to you all now: Be afraid. Few people can survive the horrors that are DUDELZ of the Damned!
By that I mean I decided to do my own take on Sketchtober this year just minus the prompts. Anybody gotta problem with that? Tough, cuz I already drew this crap so you might as well check it out.
MEANWHILE IN ANOTHER UNIVERSE: Alecia wanted to try something new this Halloween season. By that I mean she wanted to get out of the house and not binge all thirteen Camp Carnage films. Again. Most of them were garbage anyway. No, there was something far more fun waiting for her! She just had to find it first. It didn’t take her long. Her friend Clark contacted Alecia informing her of an upcoming costume contest with a hundred dollar prize! A prize the masked maniac was determined to win! How fortunate that her spotted friend recently introduced her to a great show featuring a feisty femme fatale perfect for cosplaying! Skin tight military suits for the win!
Honestly, the backstory I make up for this DUDEL doesn’t matter in the slightest. This is simply long overdue vengeance. For the last two years my masked buddy Alec (@burningthrucelluloid) did his own Inktober challenge in the form of Dresstober. Instead of a list of prompts to base your art on, the artists in question are given a multitude of preselected outfits to dress their characters in. Or in the case of my cinephile companion, his characters, a few of mine, and me. You see, for whatever reason my friends get a big kick out of gender-swapping me. All because I dressed up as Sailor Moon the one time. OraTheRebelKitsune, I hope you’re happy cuz you technically started all this! Does it bug me? Yeah, kinduv’. Much as I love it when my friends make any pictures of or for me, it gets pretty annoying when none of them draw me as who I am. Alec is by far the worst offender, spending an astonishing amount of money for people to draw me sporting cleavage with their own gravitational pull. Earlier this year he paid one artist named fallen20xx to draw me as Ms. Marvel from Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. I had gotten Alec hooked to the show while also gushing over Carol’s exceptionally sexy legs. Should’ve known that’d come back to bite me. Just like my friend should’ve known his constant drooling over Maria Hill and Abigail Brand would be his undoing. The latter had a more interesting outfit, hence why my best buddy is wearing it here. Also included is an actual quote he said while watching the show! By the way, I did all this before he paid for fallen’s commission, so really I was totally in the right to sketch this. In any case, I hope you all enjoy this sweet slice of revenge as much as Alec does! XP

INTRODUCING KWON BAEKHYUN!
hello, everyone. this is yooshi again with her second muse that no one asked for, but i'm very excited to have him here. kwon baekhyun is the "evil" form of jiah, meaning he's a lot more selfish and difficult to befriend, but he interacts with people just as fine. he has a brother, and he's at odds with his parents because they suck. below you can find more about his tragic past that makes him think he's the protagonist of a dramatic anime series.

baekhyun was born into a wealthy family that didn't have time for a kid, but they had one anyway, to please the grandparents and make them look like an ordinary happy family.
he was well-cared for by the babysitters and both sets of grandparents. they adore him and love him.
his family was originally from seoul, but his parents moved to busan before birthing baekhyun. he was often alone because his grandparents would visit from time to time on special occasions. his parents, being the good souls they were, adopted a boy to make him company. that's how hyuntae became part of their family.
baek used to do everything to please their parents when he was little. when he realized it was all for nothing because they were never satisfied by his efforts, he went in the opposite direction. he made his interest in the arts more known, and from his early high school days, it was clear he would follow the traditional path.
baekhyun served his time in the military from april 2019 to october 2020.
he moved to seoul in 2020 and started studying theatre.
in july 2021, he became an lgc trainee.
big fan of yoo woonjae. baek wants to follow in his steps and become a respectable actor after building his idol career. luckily, netizens will approve of him, but it'll be super funny if he ends up being rejected. his heart won't be able to take that hit, but i love it.

When Vesper is born, Vex calls Trinket over to the bed. She lays the baby on her lap, allowing Trinket to come close enough to see but keeping him far enough away that his presence won't frighten her. Trinket takes a few moments to inspect Vesper while she coos softly.
"Trinket, buddy, this is Vesper."
Trinket rubs Vex's arm with his nose and heads back to the corner to sleep.
"I think that means he approves," Percy adds helpfully.
It becomes a tradition to introduce their children to Trinket. Leona bonks him on the nose with her hand while Wolfe is screaming. He doesn't even flinch. When little Gwendolyn is born, though, Trinket nuzzles the little blanket like he's searching for something.
Vex, baffled by this behavior, casts speak with animals. "Trinket, are you all right? Is something the matter?"
"She's special, isn't she?"
In her mind, all of her children are special. But she knows what Trinket means. Vex looks down at her daughter and smiles. "Yes, she is."

Percy doesn't initiate physical contact often. He accepts it but rarely seeks it out. So, the first time he truly hugs her, it's a bit of a shock.
It's not a half-hearted thing either. His body is pressed against her so tightly that Vex feels every hard line and soft breath.
It's delightful.
Something in her heart settles into place as the world around her softens. In his embrace, she is content, and it ends much too soon.
When she's alone, Vax appears from the shadows, eyes wide with surprise.
"What are you looking at?" she snaps.
"Why don't you tell me?"
She flips him off, and he returns the favor.

It's much later when she finds Percy in his office. He's sitting in his chair, holding the mask so tight that his knuckles are white.
"Percival?"
He doesn't answer. He doesn't even turn to face her. As she comes closer, she notices his eyes have taken on a cold, detached quality. She hasn't seen that look in years but remembers it very well.
"Darling," she says softly, "put down the mask."
She takes it from him and sets it on the desk. His fingers twitch like he longs to grab it. "It's alright, Percy. I'm here."
"Vex, I'm sorry. I'm furious and afraid. My head is full of the things we could lose. I couldn't-"
"I know." She takes his hand, bringing it to her lips and kissing his palm. Then, finally, something softens in his demeanor. "I had to help them."
"I expected nothing less, dear. Of the two of us, you were always the better person. And what of Delilah?"
"Gone for good."
He exhales as he sinks into her, his forehead pressing against her stomach, his hands resting on her waist.
She leans down to hold him back.

She finds his glasses when he loses them and leaves suggestive notes in his sketchbook.
They hold onto each other when they grieve for lost loved ones and when they’re so happy that they can hardly speak.
They forgive each other when they say things in anger and when they make mistakes.
Every day they grow together like roots, tangling and weaving, forming a knot that will never be severed.

Vex knows how to flirt. She can make her intentions clear with a simple kiss on the cheek or an arm touch. If the attraction is mutual, things usually progress from there.
There are exceptions, of course.
One of those exceptions is sitting in the chair across from her, intently sketching. There's a smudge of something on his cheek, and his forehead is creased with concentration. He adjusts his glasses on his nose, and the familiar gesture makes her chest tighten.
"Please, stop that. I am trying to work," Percy says.
"What are you working on?" she asks.
"Nothing," Percy answers as he closes his sketchbook.
"You don't have to stop on my account."
"It's hard to concentrate when you’re staring at me," his words shiver down her spine.
"Oh, am I distracting you?" she teases.
"You are perfectly aware of how distracting you can be," Percy answers, his eyes glinting behind his glasses. "In fact, I think you enjoy it."
Gods, she wants to kiss that clever mouth.
She knows that she should redirect this conversation. Instead, she leans forward on her chair. "I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on this subject, Percival."
"Vex'ahlia,” he says as his cheeks turn slightly pink.
"Yes?" she innocently asks.
After a moment, he sets his book down on the table next to his chair. "I should be going."
This is where their interactions always go off track. Vex pushes too hard, and Percy shuts down. It's a shame because they could have some fun if he would only cede some of his control.
"Good night, Percy."
Percy gives a terse nod and then gets up. His body is drawn tight, and her attention catches on how his muscles pull beneath his shirt. She turns away before her mind can go further down that road.
"Look in the sketchbook,” Percy's words are pained. As if he had to rip them out.
The moment he's gone, she grabs the book. Inside, there are designs for inventions, along with theories about Residuum. She sees doodles of flowers and trees. A few pages later, she spots a familiar feather, a bow, and a piece of armor. Then she finds her braid, her hands, and even her face. It’s like he’s working up to something.
The last page is a sketch of her sitting with Trinket. The strokes are a bit hesitant, but it's still lovely. She takes a moment to memorize the image, then she closes the book and puts it back on the table.
Perhaps, there’s hope for them after all.

bruce taking the rats from eddies apartment home bc theres no one to take care of them w eddie in arkham and he looks up absolute mountains of rat care info and gets them an absolutely MASSIVE enclosure, fucking floor to ceiling, 5-6 levels, different stairs and platforms etc to get to each level, different chew toys on every level, and theyre fat and happy and he sometimes w take one out to sit on his shoulder and nibble at his hair when he needs a Rubber Duck for a case
and maybe also he goes to visit eddie in arkham once in a while and updates him abt how the rats r doing and its just that little connection between them like hes given the rats a better life as a proxy for edward and

Popular - this very quickly made ptpran edit with the sun and moon quote from my country i had stuck in my head for ages. i never really thought that anyone would notice this but i guess we all were into the same symbolism?

Popular - this seanwhite edit for the not me celebration was a pain to make bc i felt like nothing of it worked like i hoped it would but i did love the final result ♥
Favorite - watching dew the movie changed me somehow and making both the edit for that absolute piece of art of a movie was a true joy. i made those edits only for myself bc i had to get some of that feeling off my chest and the first one owns my heart.

Favorite - had a field day planning this whole edit bc i haven’t done anything with as much detail and meaning in a while. tried new things and was very satisfied with the outcome. also loved making something darker and more focused on symbolism.

Popular - cheering at the fact that ppl felt as insane about the official vice versa trailer as i did! i have never felt that strongly about a starting show. vv really is just so special to me and this first edit feels so dear ♥

Popular - we were all hoes for kinnporsche the series and especially vegaspete during the summer so am not at all surprised that my first (and for the longest time only) vegaspete set got a bit more popular heh
Favorite - this vv set for the trailer is my beloved bc the colors were good, the pics worked, th flowers looked good. i love the style of this one and it just makes me so emotional to even look at it.

Popular - not blaming ppl for liking the fire yellow episode edit the most bc it is my favorite too (with soft blush and cloudy gray). also ep 6 is my favorite episode in vice versa so even more fitting.
Favorite - i spent a huge amount of time researching the mbti types for this and had so much fun with it plus i loooove the pastel looks for all the pics.

Popular - the cloudy gray episode edit is the one with most notes for this month which, once again, i do not blame anyone for! i personally love the b&w + pops of color look.
Favorite - the fah + prince introduction edit i made for asianlgbtnet. i enjoyed making this one a lot even if i knew it wouldn’t get that much attention with sky in your heart never really... taking off... sadness ;;

im so glad you asked. im going to explode. the official pitch packet is here, now sit down and buckle up for my kinda abridged explanation based on what i know.
ok so basically there is a gay taiwanese kid and his irish adoptive father. they are running an outreach centre for monsters out of the poor part of town. there will be hijinks, lowjinks, and everything in between. quoth the packet, it is "a story revolving around outcasts" linked by coincidence to an "odd and incomprehensible fate". GAAAH I LOVE THIS grr bites it explodes
it takes place in a tax haven off the coast of england (factually incorrect i think but its funnier to describe it like that) run by a man i have been attacked REPEATEDLY over discord for liking (they are so mean to me) (but go look at salem and tell me im incorrect) and it is steampunk with heart and passion. the world itself is REALLY FUCKING INTERESTING from what they have in the pitch packet PLEEEEEASE READ IT but basically there is both steampunk AND magic and they have a SPECIAL OUTERSPACE ROCK which has magic properties (everyone loves a magic space rock) and. and the beasts. ough. the beasts...the space rocks turn men into beasts. go look at the beasts the art is very pretty.
