Korri Noire
Korri Noire was created by Keket to assassinate Dream for Keket, but Korri ultimately failed and was instead killed by the Zephyrtale brothers.
Her body once belonged to a girl named Oliver.
Her soul obviously once belonged to Keket.
Age: 17 ( physically ) 1,000 ( mentally ).
Status: Deceased.
Personality:
Ruthless, smart, cunning, Sociopathic.
Appearance:
Stumpy, fair skin, short bright grey chin length hair, dark grey eyes, torn rainy grey hoodie, short torn charcoal grey skirt, black leggings and white boots with black laces, in her true form, her hands and her eyes are all shy blue with bright pink irises and dark pink pupils, in her full form, she's all blue with skinwalker like limbs, she looks like Keket in this form.
Facts about the Korri Noire:
A Korri Noire is created if your soul trait isn't one of the seven soul traits ( Determination, bravery, kindness, integrity, patience, justice and perseverance ) and you invert your trait and use the Bete noire spell on it.
Unlike Bete noire, no soul that a Korri Noire consumes can be brought back, so monster or not, you're screwed.
There is one exception though, if the Korri Noire shares magic that was drained from a boss monster soul with your soul, you'll have enough magic and determination to regenerate your body therefore bringing you back, this works on both monsters and humans at the cost of turning said human/ monster being mind controlled by Korri, this happened to Zt! Sans before. (And no, Zt! Sans is still alive and well and didn't get the Glitchtale Sans treatment )
When using rhabdophobia, Korri's hair doesn't change color, catching you by surprise.
A Korri Noire won't be able to keep a none boss monster's soul as Korri is only capable of keeping souls that can persist after death, granted, they can still consume your soul, but it'll still slowly fade into obscurity.
Korri Noire has a partner similar to Akumu called a Hanyeo, unlike Akumu, Hanyeo's have a more human like appearance, Hanyeo means "maid" in Korean.
They do have Kumulings like Betty's though.
How soul collecting works for Korri Noire, when Hanyeo eats a soul, the soul is transmitted into Korri's soul, so unlike Akumu who has it's own special pouch for their collected souls, Korri's soul has it's special place for storing souls, Hanyeo acts more of a soul portal.
Despite Hanyeo being the only way for Korri to take souls in and out, on a rare basis a Korri Noire can do that on their own since they hold the souls collected.
Unlike Bete noire, a Korri Noire can't really be possessed by hate as they're already an embodiment of spite, which is already hate.
Regardless of what your inverted soul trait when you create a Korri Noire, they'll always come out as an embodiment of spite.
Korri possesses the memories of both their creator and the memories of the person who's body was used as a vessel for Korri, this can make them confused and sometimes make them believe they are one of the two, for example, the very first Korri Noire believed she was Oliver for a while.
The Korri Noire's creator remains dormant once Korri comes to life and can only be awakened when Korri dies.
When a Korri Noire dies, their bodies turn into dead trees with colored dots all over them like Christmas trees only not.
A Bete noire likely has no chance against a Korri noire, Determination can still defeat a Korri noire, monsters can defeat a Korri Noire without determination as well since Zt! Sans, Papyrus and Aster defeated the first one with little effort.
How to know you're creating a Korri Noire:
If you invert your soul but your soul trait doesn't change color but has mist leaking out of it instead ( on a rare basis )
When you use the Bete noire spell on your soul and it turns bright grey instead of pink.

Hanyeo, Korri Noire's Akumu, she was killed when she betrayed Korri and Korri decided to forcibly fuse with her, Hanyeo shows that a Korri Noire can be more human than Betty.

Kim Ki-young - The Housemaid (Hanyeo) (1960) If your first contacts with Korean cinema come from Oldboy or more recently Parasite, and if you liked those films you might want to take a look at The Housemaid. This is kind of the beginning of those weird, twisty, melodramatic, class-conscious mind-fucks that Koreans do so well. Here the story involves a housemaid coming into the service of a family and insinuating herself into the lives of the family to a point where it becomes a horror story, with murder, poisoning, forced abortions, rape and all of that stuff. It's also immensely melodramatic to a level which was no longer popular in the US since the days of silent cinema. In fact it's so over the top that it might ruin some people's enjoyment of it. To me it was a plus, just making a bonkers movie all the more bonkers. No character is loveable here, you just want them all to die, and they mostly oblige. The end is particularly weird with a tacked on moral that really deflates the whole thing and leaves you with a silly look on your face. A kind of "it was all a dream" ending, which makes not sense and seems like a clearly cynical way of getting past censors, which is pretty funny, because it's fooling no-one. After all the horror the film seems to be a promotion of traditional family values, which I suppose it kind of is, but it does take a weirdly winding road to get there. Definitely a mark in the history of Korean cinema, and something you should watch if you like Korean cinema at all. Hari pertama di Jeju cuma pergi ke Seopjikoji (karena sampai Jeju menjelang sore juga dan drama newbie naik bus di Jeju) lalu lanjut check-in hostel yang letaknya di seberang Seongsan Port. Sebenarnya tinggal naik bus 1 kali saja dari Seopjikoji ke hostel tapi karena frekuensi kebodohan hari itu sedang tinggi-tingginya, nyasar lagi deh. Dan sampe hostel menjelang matahari terbenam walau pas di Seopjikoji mendung nya pekat banget, di daerah Seongsan udah sedikit ilang dan kelihatan sunsetnya indah dari depan hostel tapi badan ini sudah lelah jadi milih langsung bebersih.
Karena nginepnya dekat Seongsan, tentu saja tujuan keesokan harinya adalah ke Seongsan Ilchulbong. Dan karena nama officialnya adalah Seongsan Ilchulbong Sunrise Peak makanya bela2in berangkat pagi pas matahari terbit. Niatnya begitu tapi realisasinya baru berangkat jam 6 kurang dimana sunrise nya sekitar setengah 6 pagi. Dari hostel ke Seongsan Ilchulbong tinggal jalan kaki aja, sekitar 20 menit (anginnya lumayan kencang karena jalannya disamping laut banget). Jalanannya enak karena cuma kompleks perumahan dan ada beberapa restoran seafood dan hotel. Bahkan ada outlet Nature Republic di dekat area parkir!
Dari hasil browsing, Seongsan Ilchulbong ini adalah cekungan maha luas tempat banyak vegetasi bisa hidup yang terbuat dari hasil erupsi underwater yang terjadi ribuan tahun lalu yang membuatnya di akui sebagai UNESCO World Nature Heritage. Dari pintu masuk, kita tinggal naik ikutin tangga berbatu dengan pagar kayu sampe atasnya.
Sebenarnya Seongsan Ilchulbong itu baru buka jam 8an jadi kalau datang sebelum itu kita ga usah bayar pas masuknya (normalnya buat adult ₩ 5000) karena masih tutup juga loket kasirnya. Uhuy! Pas sampe disana kabutnya tebel banget sampe jarak pandang ga sampe 50 meter dan anginnya kenceng banget dan aku jadinya saltum :( yang lain pada pake baju olahraga atau seenggaknya baju santai, aku pakenya dress dan jaket jeans "," kebanyakannyapengunjungnya adalah orang Korea dan Cina sedikit. Ngelihat abang-abang Malaysia juga tapi cuma satu rombongan. Dan semuanya dateng rame-rame berkeluarga atau sama pasangan atau temannya dan akunya doang yang sendirian x.x
Di review, jalur pendakian atau ke puncaknya ada 2 yaitu yang normal dan advanced tapi pas aku lihat cuma ada 1 jalur ke atasnya dan lumayan nanjak. Nah jalur turunnya baru enak tapi ternyata jalur yang aku kira jalur naik dan turun beda, sepertinya sama dan sepertinya lagi aku milih jalur yang advanced. Ini nanjaknya lumayan ditambah angin kenceng dan jarak pandang yang pendek banget kabut tebel sekalii dan ga ada orang lagi di belakang membuatku harus balik kanan ga kuat sampe atas.
Sempat berhenti di gazebo yang ada view pintu masuk dan kalau ngga kabut bisa kelihatan lautnya. Tapi pas disitu ngga kelihatan huhu.
Di jalan turunnya ngelewatin tempat penyelam wanita Jeju yang terkenal itu (Jeju Hanyeo) bekerja. Cuma lihat aja karena ngga ada penyelamnya juga hehe.

해녀 Haenyeo - Jeju’s Female Free Divers
The haenyeo have become one of the most iconoc symbols of Jeju. They freedive off the coasts collecting abalone, small octopus, sea cucumbers, and more.
One of the most fascinating parts of the haenyeo story is that the divers are exclusivley female. However it didn’t alsways used to be that way. HUndred of years ago, it was a male dominated profession. The divers would collect seafood to send back to the mainland as tribute. Due to a few factors included the war with Japan in the 1600s, the men were called away to serve in the army, leaving the women to pick up the slack. For Americans, it might bring Rosy the Riveter to mind. However unlike their American counterparts, the women stepped in to fill the men’s shoes and they never left. To this day, you can see the hanyeo diving in the many coastal areas around the island, and even stop into a seaside restaurant to eat some of the fresh catch.
As an island with a history distinct for the mainland and the rest of Korea, the hanyeo continue to serve as a reminder of the strong, independent Jeju spirit.
