Hair question: how do you avoid banding when you re-dye? Is it just practice and care?

I just bleach my roots but put dye over everything and have it in overnight; mostly it’s just saturation and luck I guess 😂 it’s been blue almost 12 years

going to ask a dubious personal question on here because the internet is not helping me. what do you do when your hair texture SUDDENLY takes a bad dive but only on some of your hair??? like on some strands specifically they've become uneven and/or really spiraled in a bad way its so odd. they keep getting extra tangled and my scalp is extra sore where there's more of them
#i HATE ITTT#my hairs been a mix of coarse/fine throughout my life#but individual strands have always been straight/wavy#or ive had split ends. which is fine but#this is gettinf WEIRD... i do have strand pics i can show which i might add here#its not even color damage cus its happening regardless of whether its colored or not. To beloved butches and to dear femmes I have an important question. . . . should I cut my hair . . . . It’s like 8 1/2 months grown out from a skin-buzzed head and I feel like I don’t read as butch somehow* . . on one hand I have really great thick and wavy hair in an ok length rn, on the other hand older cishet women keep being really weird abt me calling myself butch and masculine n I’m like . What the fuck do I look like. I like my hair when it dries after a shower but i also like having short hair and I could like actually go to a barber or something? (Though this opens up to a whole other box of worms which is finding a good butch-friendly barber. .)

The very young princes and princess who are none too pleased and going to cause problems on purpose for both rogues and heroes alike. As godlings de-aged into their ghost age are like to do.
Meanwhile in the Realms, Pariah is staring down at where his trio of ghost toddlers that Clockwork had handed him when he had first woken up and was still groggy just disappeared from. He looks over at Fright Knight, his dearest brother, who looks just as shocked.
Clockwork is going to kill them both if they don’t get the kids back now.
