I pity the lords of Westeros. They have no idea what’s coming for them.

Jon, throwing stones at Dany’s window: …
Daenerys, loudly: You have a phone for a reason!
Cue a loud bang.
Daenerys, opening the window: DID YOU JUST THROW YOUR PHONE AT MY WINDOW?

I was going through someones tumblr archive last night, looking for things from the last few months (unrelated to GoT), and they were apparently a jonerys fan, but had also reblogged a post calling out people like.. ‘if you didn’t see the foreshadowing that this would happen with Daenerys (8x05) then you just didn’t want to see it.’
Well excuuuuuse me, for thinking that there’s multiple ways they can go with characters.. depending on what they choose. And excuuuuuuse me, for thinking they wouldn’t be so fucking disgusting and sexist as to end the show with two mad queens, and excuuuuuuuse me, for thinking that people judging someone on their family wouldn’t be rewarded with them just suddenly turning the said someone into the worst version of their family and ‘justifying’ their shitty attitudes, and excuuuuuse me for thinking that someone who had so much empathy and never killed innocents would suddenly kill a heap of them and not care, and excuuuuuuuse me that I didn’t think Daenerys would be the only one called out for killing her enemies/bad people and villified for it, and excuuuuse me for thinking they wouldn’t justify people for being quick to call her the mad queen whenever she got a little bit angry or went to war, an excuuuuuuuse me for thinking someone who saved Jon multiple times and did her part in the Great War wouldn’t be turned “mad” two episodes later and kill people.
Like yeah, EXCUSE ME for thinking they weren’t going to be this foul, this sexist, and use and abuse Daenerys as they did.

When I picture Jaime and Pod’s interactions it’s always with the voices of Peter Parker and Tony Stark in my head.

I know season 8 was awful in hindsight, but I love to remember the little moments of of the writers fulfilling our fanfic headcanons. Jaime being a complete flustered puppy around Brienne? Jaime and Brienne adopting Podrick by having them fuss over him during the Battle of Winterfell? Jaime knighting Brienne with full heart-eyes? I like to remember those little moments.

It’s sure interesting to me how everyone suddenly becomes an expert in genetics when people point out the lack of madness in Jon Snow, who is also part Targaryen. Like everyone is quick to point out that only products of incest, not being merely Targaryen, result in mad people, despite the fact that Gilly, Tommen, and Myrcella, genuinely pure people, literally exist in the same universe. Also, genes…don’t…determine…madness?? That’s…not…a thing??
While I get that the got writers are all about subverting expectations, wouldn’t have breaking those expectations been Dany actually becoming successful and not like her father? Because everyone in the show kept fearing that Dany would turn out like her father. And she already had a dark mirror in the form of Cersei, as she was the one to use wildfire to burn her enemies like the Mad King, in order to get what she wanted. And she had a great and understandable build up to that decision. Dany basically became a weaker Cersei, unoriginal and poorly built up. Isn’t the point of having a dark mirror in a show to prove that while a character COULD, under different circumstances, become like them, they ultimately don’t, and more importantly, CHOOSE not to be?
I don’t know about you, but after seven seasons of everyone going, “I worried you’re becoming like your father” and have Dany proving them wrong each and every time, only to have her go mad at the end, show that no matter what she does, she’ll ultimately become what everyone expects her to be.

We REALLY know the way you hate the north, Jaime.
The way he looks at her… Especially on fourth gif.
And she was so incredible sexy…. she undressing her clothes.

he’s bleeding sunlight and you’re trying to patch up the holes in his heart with trembling fingers and the blood keeps spilling.
he’s golden as they come but he’s bleeding out.
one day, someone will strike a match on him and he’ll explode.
