"THE MANDALORIAN" Season Three (2023) Episode Ranking

Below is my personal ranking of the episodes from Season Three of the Disney Plus/Lucasfilm streaming series, "THE MANDALORIAN". Created by Jon Favreau, the series stars Pedro Pascal in the title role:

"THE MANDALORIAN" SEASON THREE (2023) EPISODE RANKING

(3.08) "Chapter 24: The Return" - Din Djarin aka the Mandalorian and his allies confront Grand Moff Gideon and his forces on Mandalore.

2. (3.02) "Chapter 17: The Mines of Mandalore" - While exploring the ruins of the devastated Mandalore, Din Djarin and Grogu encounter trouble and seek the help of former Mandalorian leader, Bo-Katan Kyrze.

3. (3.05) "Chapter 21: The Pirate" - The Mandalorian, Bo-Katan and a group of Mandalorian warriors come to the aid of Greef Karga and the Nevarro citizens, when vengeful pirates from a previous episode return to invade.

4. (3.07) "Chapter 23: The Spies" - The Mandalorians set out to retake Mandalore, but their plans are discovered by Imperial spy Elia Kane and Gideon.

5. (3.03) "Chapter 19: the Convert" - On Coruscant, former Imperial scientist Dr. Penn Pershing receives a pardon by the New Republic. However, he is surprised by Kane's appearance, who pretends to be among the amnesty program's recipients.

6. (3.01) - "Chapter 17: The Apostate" - In this season opening, Din Djarin arrive on Nevarro to get the droid IG-11 to help him find the mines underneath Mandalore. While there, he and Grogu help Greef and the Nevarro citizens fight off pirates.

7. (3.04) "Chapter 20: The Foundling" - Din Djarin returns to the hidden Mandalorian covert to begin Grogu's training. However, Bo-Katan and other warriors embark upon a hunting party to save the son of Paz Vizsla, who had been snatched by a raptor. Grogu faces his memories of Order 66.

8. (3.06) "Chapter 22: Guns For Hire" - Bo-Katan, Djarin and Grogu set out for Plazir-15, where Bo-Katan's former army, now led by Axe Woves, exist as mercenaries. However, they are involuntarily diverted by the planet's rulers, Captain Bombardier and the Duchess, who ask for their help in neutralizing several repurposed but malfunctioning Imperial and Separatist droids.

Headcanons I have about random Imperials based purely on ✨vibes✨

Thrawn - Puts both hands on the walls at urinals.

Eli - Always has a bruise in the shape of someones handprint on his ass.

Faro - Sniffs babies.

Pryce - Licks the inside of crisp packets.

My predictions for The Mandalorian Season 3 finale

We will see Din unmasked in two instances in this episode. When he is being tortured by Moff Gideon and at the end, when he has the wine with Bo.

Bo and Grogu will go to Tatooine to get Boba Fett's aid in rescuing Din. He sends his own personal fleet to help.

Grogu will use his powers to tame the Mythosaur and ride it into battle. I think this has been foreshadowed a lot in season three as Grogu has a fascination with creatures and received the beskar pauldron with the Mythosaur symbol from the Armourer.

Boba Fett will help Grogu in doing so as he has experience with taming the rancor.

Din is being tortured by Moff and his imperial forces through the mind flayer. Moff taunts him about his allegience to Bo, but Din stands his ground and defends her honour. Bo and her Mandalorian army storm the headquarters.

Bo and Din have an intense fight as Din has been brainwashed and is out of his mind. Bo brings him back to earth by giving him a keldabe kiss, cementing the start of their relationship. She gives him back his helmet and the two have a one way fight with Moff Gideon. Bo Katan using her darksaber in a duel against him. Din gets his moment to shine and fights the praetorian guards.

Before Bo is forced to surrender to Gideon once again, Grogu atop the Mythosaur bursts into the imperial cruiser as the creature eats him alive.

The Mandalorians will become victorious over the imperial remnant and take back the planet.

The tribes celebrate retaking Mandalore as Din and Bo share a drink of the Coruscant wine. Din takes off his helmet as he fully trusts her. The two vow to rule Mandalore together.

The post credits scene will tease Grand Admiral Thrawn's arrival and directly set up Ahsoka.

Gideon being all like "and why isn't Thrawn at our big important meeting???" reminds me of Bail Organa in The Bad Batch calling out Palpatine for not being at the Senate meetings, and then BAM Palpatine shows up in huge dreadful dramatic fashion and absolutely destroys them (politically) (and strategically).

kinda hope Thrawn does a similar thing in the Mando S3 finale. he can even appear on a platform from a hole in the floor if he wants, i wouldn't question it whatsoever.

either that, or he does the total opposite, and pulls a Thanos. Thrawn appears, Gideon says something snarky, Thrawn just looks at him and says "i don't even know who you are" hgfghhghjkl

Poll time because I just saw a theory on Instagram that made no sense to me whatsoever
