Rebels Theory I have neither the creativity or Medical Knowledge to explain properly but:
I believe Kanan is not completely blind. I know some partially sighted people can see a little bit with enough direct bright light, i.e the ability to read a text message if the screen is on full brightness.
When we see from Kanan’s POV the screen is red, not completely black, so he might be seeing the light of Mauls saber. This means he might still be able to encage in Lightsaber combat because he can follow the light.
Finally, I believe the fireball that engulfed him was big and bright enough that he could see Hera and she was the last thing he saw.

STAR WARS
Star wars is my life, it’s all I need. It’s the greatest thing that ever happened to me, it saved my life and gave it meaning. I imagine this is how those super happy born again christians must feel.
2.Positivity
I know it’s a little silly, but i just want everyone to be happy. I try and find the good in everything and think of all the good things that something has to offer. And if something has nothing good to offer, then I don’t need it in my life. There’s too many great things in the world to be falling out over the silly stuff.
3.Hamilton
Not sure why but the Hamilton musical just scratches my brain right. Still don’t understand American politics tho
4. Coffee
Clichéd, basic ass coffee bitch 😘✌️I’m talking espresso machine, grind my own beans, steam that milk up good. Still tastes like shit but I’m addicted now.
5. Alexsandr Kallus
I know I already said Star Wars but he’s special. I am constantly terrified that I am a) not queer enough and b) too old to carve out a queer identity at this point. So you can imagine how I felt seeing these two gruff older men ride off into the sunset together. When Kallus defected (came out) he didn’t change anything about himself, he just listened to the thoughts he’d always had and embraced them. He’s still serious and no nonsense, still eager to go out there and fight. If Kallus didn’t have to change his entire identity to have the rebels accept him, then I don’t need to change myself so that the LGBT community accepts me. I get to ride off into the sunset with my man who loves me for me, and I have Kallus to remind me of that.
