I can explain.

So, i've been thinking...i've never done anything with the non-apocalypse futures past a few months.

I'd also been thinking, that out of all the fan kids i've seen around, there wasn't a lot (if any) for Raph.

I ALSO thought, Family Web would be an absolutely horrible au to have Bishop be involved in (mostly b/c Leo would NOT be good with an evil government scientist. at all.)

anyways, here's an in-story explanation for what i got so far

When Raph's 25, he gets word that there's some government program doing some shady things. Now that wouldn't really be his concern, but they're rumored to be using mutagen so they feel obligated to check it out.

SO the three of them check it out (Not leo. He tried but the medical equipment got to him. He portaled to the roof to wait on standby.) They find a lot of failed experiments and the like, most being with at least some turtle dna for some reason.

They also find two very young, very alive baby turtle mutants.

So, of course, they take them home. (after completely destroying the lab, information and all.)

They find out a few days later (b/c of course Donnie copied the info and he and Jenny have been going through it for anything good) that ever since the failed invasion, Bishop's group had been taking their DNA samples left over from various fight locations, (and probably paying a few people to get blood samples too) and using it it to do genetic experiments. B/c the four have such a hodge-podge of dna to start with, the experiments were never stable. The two they stole being the best they've accomplished over the years. The two that just happen to have used Raph's dna.

I'm going to have to do more with this. Like give the boys adult looks and the like. but these two were being rotated in my brain on high for list the last 9 hours now and if i didn't share them tonight i was going to go insane. (i couldn't even focus at work i was so fixated on these two bitties.)

So, I’m awkward with actual humans. It’s not paranoia about my hacked governor module, and it’s not them; it’s me. I know I’m a horrifying murderbot, and they know it, and it makes both of us nervous, which makes me even more nervous. Also, if I’m not in the armor then it’s because I’m wounded and one of my organic parts may fall off and plop on the floor at any moment and no one wants to see that.

BREAKING NEWS!!! Local idiot ghost absolutely blown away when boyfriend gives him a nickname for the first time, more info after this broadcast.

Bonus pet-name edition:

(Yeah I know it's ooc for grovyle to EVER use the term "babe" but lets go ahead and assume he's done it accidentally a few times rather than intentionally. He's deeply in love with the dumb ghostman, ok. Sometimes it just slips out.)

Dusknoir is still recovering from hearing it. And when he finally calls grovyle "love" himself on accident a few days later, he falls deathly ill for two weeks cause his body couldn't handle the aftermath and started rapidly shutting down on a molecular level.

Basically, this came out in 2019 and I was a bit confused why Ruki was there, since he’s Ayato’s rival and has nothing to do with the Sakamakis but I didn’t try to pay much attention to that detail, therefore I considered it a mere coincidence. However… after Young Blood was released, I can’t look at this picture the same anymore——

Rejet definitely knew what they were doing when they put only Ruki, Shu and Subaru in the same frame as Ayato because it’s giving “ Top 10 moments before disaster “. 😭😭

#pickle pontificates #they just have a very good and specific flavor #a lot of the stuff I've seen and resonated with the most falls into this category I've noticed #not even like I'm seeking it out it just keeps happening #i like the action and the goofiness you tend to find in shonen stuff #but i think there's something about the way women tend to write characters and emotions that appeals to me personally #not that i think anyone's going to find this that would misinterpret it but obviously it's not like men can't write characters/emotions #that's what i like so much about haikyuu #which was done by a guy as far as anyone knows #and i also love mp100 if you couldn't tell #right now this is about #fma #fmab #tbhk #noragami #but it can be about whatever you want it to and I'm sure it'll be about more stuff for me in the future

stede is 'oh this place has something related to my interest i must go in immediately' autistic and izzy is 'if we deviate one inch from my plan for today i will murder someone' autistic

#stede wandering off into the forest to look at bugs was not on the schedule or any of izzys contingency schedules #new thing i think would fix izzy: a clear fucking plan #in the nebulous reunion timeline future i see izzy researching every port town they are gonna stop in HARD so he can figure out everywhere #stede + ed might possibly want to go and plan several routes for the day to keep himself calm in the inevitable chaos #(and yet somehow every time stede finds something he missed and they still go off script anyway)#(he tries to go separately around port from them one time and its a fucking disaster; someone gets stabbed; so he just resigns himself to #incredibly stressful port stops)#its not like stede + ed mean to do it!! theyre both awful for it individually and they just feed off each other #its ok because theyre very good at letting izzy have the deck Exactly how he wants it and scheduling as much big picture stuff as they can #with him #(when stede realises theyve been the cause of like. 65% of izzys stress they finally agree to let him redo the rigging as an apology and #they suddenly realise watching him buy the supplies that hes just as bad as them in his own way)#(he absolutely terrorizes the rope guy but they have never seen him so relaxed as when he was up there redoing all the lines)#nyxtalks #ofmd #izzy hands #israel hands #stede bonnet #you can pry autistic izzy away from my cold dead hands

#Hatsune Miku #VOCALOID #or rather #piapro characters #Hatsune Miku Single String Ver.#<- yep that's the fan module I made for fun last year #the thing is. only half a month to go until it's mid autumn. and every year I try to draw something for the occasion #I just. started early this year... for some reason......#well I mostly just wanna draw Her lmao. because the pokemon/miku voltage stuff is still being released and Im feelin the effect #and this year's magical miral design is so fuckign good.... thank u to miku artists. especially LAM and rella #as is always the case with this module the instrument/weapon (lol) she uses is a heavily stylized đàn bầu!#and I just realized while drawing this and looking at the ref sheets that I never detailed the pluck lmao #to be fair. usually its just like a piece of. anything #commonly bamboo or bone or plastic. shaped into a longish fingernail shape. its really the way u hold it that matters iirc #but yeah I spruced up the OG design for the instrument in this one lol. this is actually like my original vision I think #I really wanted to make that thing beast shaped. but I Just figured out how to properly stylize it when I designed the module #and! I did say this on stream but I am genuinely very proud of that design! that was genuinely big brain of me! so #future instrument variants will still probably base heavily on that general shape and principles lol. I'm playin in this space its MY muck #also I switched the number on her coat from 39 to 01 bc it's more on theme thats really it. nothin else to remark on there lol #and! once again based the dragon head on the lý dynasty dragon rather than later iterations. thats why the nose fin and no whiskers #and the metal nozzle is kinda supposed to call to mind a temple bell. not super sure i got that across well #but the rim design IS historical! I thiiiink early lê dynasty. just on ceramics instead of on bronze lmao #anyways thats it. I had fun colorin this one! kicked my ass a bit but I think I hashed it out mostly okay #have a good night lads! thank u mid autumn moon cakes for being bad to eat and sponsoring my late night drawin. and remember:#u only need one. but never say having more doesn't make it easier

Part of my writing process is creating pairs of characters in a project and outlining their relationship dynamic, usually giving them a funny little name to describe their general vibes or aesthetic as well. The beauty of writing a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2 AU is that with a little tweaking, the character dynamics become absolutely hilarious exploration teams.
