Blinky Demands Your Thoughts!
(Since, you know, he's incapable of simply asking for help...)
Hi Sniggles, Nighthawks, and the occasionally Timberwolf! Blinky has asked to announce that we are coming up on our first Non-Hatchetfield Palate Cleanser Watch Party! For while we know that Blinky has an eye set on that Tiny Town in Michigan, he's by no means a one-world God. After all, we don't call him the Watcher With A Thousand Eyes for nothing!
Help us choose which world Blinky should put an eye on next!
This is a super-quick two question survey (only one question required) and no personal information or emails are collected.

In all the Spies excitement, can't forget about Blinky!
YOUR APOTHEOSIS IS UPON YOU!!
JOIN THE HIVE!!!
Erm, uh, I mean, it's time for our first Hatchetfield-themed palate cleanser! No end of the world here, no sir, just a musical, though if you're a certain guy named Paul that may be an even worse fate...
That's right! Blinky's watching The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals this weekend! Get your sniggle on and please join us for a visit back to the incredibly special show that started it all.
Tumblr media
Please note that the THE WATCH PARTIES WILL BE ON SUNDAY (NOT SATURDAY) due to the Pit Stop In Hatchetfield Livestream. And because TGWDLM is a full musical and the two timeslots are so close together, we will be starting right at the announced time, instead of allowing for the usual grace period for people to join. Have a La-Dee-Dah-Dah Time Letting It Out!

Okay so I'll write more about the frankly stupid amount of fun I just had at Spies when I have a little more time, but for now I just want to say that it really is such a special musical, and there's something... so great and life-affirming seeing the original cast and creators treat it and its fan community with the love and fun and care that it deserves. I'm really grateful for every single of one of them and what they brought to the stage tonight.

StarCanWreckedPulp Fan Rewards For Palestine??
While I'll be keeping this blog name and logo for the next couple of weeks so that all of you who already follow this blog know who I am, I'm thrilled to announce that we'll soon be rebranding to what I hope will become a yearly, or even biannual, communal charity drive for the online StarCanWreckedPulp fan fam to come together for a chosen cause! For this inaugural run, I have decided to raise money for Palestine and other peoples suffering genocide. In order to gain the rewards that will be offered by the event, people will simply have to submit screenshot proof that they have donated to a fundraiser supporting victims of genocide.
As part of the event, I will be doing a giveaway in which the winner will be able to chose any one item from the official Starkid, TCB, or Shipwrecked stores to get for free. While this will be the Grand Prize, I hope to have a couple of other prizes up for grabs as well.
This is where you guys come in--what prizes would you like the chance to win? What artist would you love to win a commission from? Please fill out the survey below--no emails are collected and it's just the one question!
Please note that this is just me gathering ideas. I'll be selecting prizes based off of various practical criteria, and many artists I ask may instead choose to show their support in other ways they feel are more fitting or effective.
The dates of the event have not yet been decided. Check back soon for more information!
TLDR; Fill out the attached one-question survey (no personal info collected) to tell me what StarCanWreckedPulp artists you'd like to win a free commission from!

the Columbia University arrests are worse than they seem. They're arresting protesting students for trespassing. It goes without saying students cannot meaningfully "trespass" in the common areas of a university they attend. So Columbia University has suspended all student protestors from their institution, in the process revoking their access to housing, their belonging, and most crucially damaging their academic futures. We are witnessing full scale silencing and removal of anyone of conscience from the next generation of academia.

GUYS THEY'RE PUTTING POWER TRIP ON TIKTOK!!
Like, I fundamentally Do Not Do TikTok, but still...
(Power Trip is a very fun and funky sounding musical written by Ali Gordon and Angela Parrish (who are doing the new upcoming TCB musical Gross Prophets; plus Ali is in the VHSCCs cast and Angela does Shitty Broadway with a bunch of StarCanWrecked) and shepherded along in it's development by Corey L.) I've been dying to hear the score since I first heard about it so, like, this is huge for me.

Forever thinking about the part in “One Step Ahead” when Curt says “you’ve lost your mind” and Owen just… doesn’t disagree.

Listen I love long haired Owen Carvour as much as anyone, but we already had the definitive long haired Owen for the Spies Are Forever 54 Below concert. I cannot imagine topping this

AND!!! You can still rent the 54 Below concert! I'm being serious when I say that the 54 Below version of One Step Ahead alone is worth $15, but I also adore this version of Torture Tango and We Love the Prince

Had a nightmare that I’d gone to Spy Another Day and then developed event-specific-amnesia(??) and was unable to remember it. In case anyone was wondering about how excited I am for this Friday.

Hello. Holloway show???? How have I not heard of this??????
Hello!!! So, they talked about it at Hatchetfield Halloween last year. Basically what they said was:
-the next Hatchetfield musical would be about Holloway
-It’s already been written(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
-Curt and Kim have read it and they talked a bit about how great it was
-it would not be the next show after Nerdy Prudes and VHSCCs (obviously we know that for sure now)
-kinda’ like the Pirate musical, it’s not guaranteed that we’ll ever actually get it. The implication was that they needed a break from Hatchetfield and were gonna wait and see how Nerdy Prudes did and if people remained interested in that Tiny Town in Michigan.
So yeah. That’s what you missed! And that is all why I think the emphasis on Hatchetfield in the livestreams for Cinderella’s Castle is a really good sign. They know the interest is still there and being continually cultivated. Personally I think Holloway will be the big musical next year or the year after. We’ll just have to wait and see, I guess.
Thanks for asking!!
