Hey guys, I know I've been MIA lately but I'm here because we desperately need help to save one of our families kitties. Our seven year old cat, bandit, broke her leg today so badly that it needs to be amputated. We're pretty sure she got caught in a trap outside. Sadly, my parents need $4000 CAD to get her leg amputated. The only other option we have is to euthanize her, which is incredibly heartbreaking and unfair. She's only seven years old, she is full of life and love, she's healthy. She does not deserve to die because of this.

My parents are both currently out of work due to their respective employers closing/pulling out of the country. That leaves them unable to afford the surgery right now. We've created a gofundme page in hopes that we can save our precious girls life, but we are also accepting donations to PayPal or via e transfer for those in Canada, if you're uncomfortable donating to the gofundme. If you can't donate today, please please PLEASE reblog this and help us get this link out there. Bandit needs our help, she is suffering and she doesn't deserve to be.

I really thought I was done with this mess, but sadly I have to put the gofundme back up and raise the amount of money I need. My roommate and I were able to get into a place, but sadly they asked for double the deposit and now we need to come up with the money for April's rent, money for the moving truck, transferring services from one place to another, gas and groceries. I honestly couldn't think of an actual number we need, so I just settled for $2k. If we don't need that much all the better, but I figured better safe than sorry. Any help we'd be so grateful for.

PLEASE HELP MY FRIEND!

Hannah’s fiancé Cody was just suspended without pay from his job today because a disgruntled coworker filed a false sexual harassment report against him to HR. Hannah is already in the process of training at a new job that she had just been recruited at this past Monday, so because of the person who just may as well have cause Cody to lose his job, they may wind up losing everything and being homeless. Unfortunately neither Hannah nor Cody have any credit or savings, and they have no family that is willing to help them. I am the only person fighting for them right now, so I can’t sit back and watch my friends lose everything because some dishonest and entitled piece of work decided to lie on Cody.

Hannah and Cody need at least $2000 by August 31st to pay court fines and rent. The fine that Cody has to pay is $1000 and if he does not pay it by the 30th, he will be arrested. Their rent is due by September 3rd and that’s just about $1000 as well. I am currently unemployed so I can’t help in any way other than making this fundraiser for them, otherwise I would give them every dime to my name. Hannah has been bending over backwards trying to make ends meet for a while now, and she has been dealing with an insurmountable load of stress as of late on top of struggling with Major Depressive Disorder and severe anxiety. She and Cody have no options left and they feel paralyzed in this situation.

Please, if you can, help my friends and donate whatever you can afford. Every dollar counts. Even if you can’t donate, we would beyond appreciate it if you would share this GoFundMe with your friends and family.

Hey Everyone!

So I am a playwright and a director, and I FINALLY got my original work entered into a festival! I’ve been working on it for three years and I am so excited to have this opportunity to showcase my work.

Disclaimer: I am aware that a lot of people are going through rough situations and money is more likely to be donated to those with immediate need — and I don’t want to step on toes by asking for money for “fun stuff”. but this is my dream and my career and I am SO CLOSE to being able to do work in the way I want, in a room completely run by people of color who just wanna make good art, rather than commercialized spaces that I’m forcing my way into. If you could help that reality come true it would mean literally everything to me.

It has always been important to me as a Black woman to be able to keep my cast. crew, and team predominantly of color because opportunities in theater are so few and far between for us. I have been able to get that group to be onboard (yay!) but want to pay everyone equitably so they can understand just how valuable they are to me. A lot of my cast and crew are dear friends of mine and would happily do this work for free, but I won’t allow it. They deserve so much more and are incredibly talented.

As you’ll see by the gofundme page we are trying to raise $6000 to put this festival entry together. All of the expenses are detailed in the link. Even if we could get to just half of that, it would be a huge help!

Hello all! I am looking to raise money to help me get a car. Currently my route to work is unsafe as I have to walk on a busy highway after I get off the bus. I fear one day I will get hit by a car because there are no side walks. I’m living paycheck to paycheck and most days don’t eat cos I can’t afford to. anything helps.

it is so incredibly sad to constantly see kids on instagram and tiktok who are younger than my brother have to literally beg for shelter, food, water, medicine, and their right to exist as human beings

My wonderful friend Haya is only 18 years old and trying to get her sick mother (a kidney failure patient) and the rest of her family evacuated from Gaza to Egypt. They barely survived an airstrike that blasted all the windows out of the house they were in when Israel attacked Deir Al-Balah last week and were displaced again 02/24/2024 and the situation is extremely desperate.
