I have been tweeting about this for the past hour but I cannot get over the idea Voldemort claiming Harry’s offer of redemption in the Great Hall the only way he knows how: by running from himself.
To fully repent would be to kill Lord Voldemort in his entirety, maybe not the physical body but the image Tom had been building of himself since he was a child. I think it’s impossible for him to do that, and I don’t think he’d want to.
But he’s also so terrified of dying when Harry confronts him at the final battle that he apparates away and goes into hiding. He lives in some faraway obscure place by himself and resolves to obscurity, halting his pursuit of power because the repercussions of his actions had very nearly caught up to him, and he trusts no outcome but one that he can fully control. In doing this he is unknowingly reliving the same fate of his family by falling prey to paranoid delusions and trusting no one but himself. Left to rot on his own and grow bitter from failure.
Voldemort’s home is overgrown, snakes come and go freely indoors, he rambles like the senile old man he is and refers to himself as he-who-must-not-be-named… cue creepy distant people watching because he’s lonely (he won’t admit it).

I don't think we talk enough about the scene when Junmo calls the HQ to report that Gicheol's been "caught". He's clearly struggling to keep his voice even, his eyes are welling up with tears and he cannot even look at his wife. And then we get that fucking shot of his hand, a close up on his wedding ring and then the camera pans down onto his wrist, on which sits the watch given to him by Gicheol.
Like what the fuck am I supposed to make of this? What the fuck am I supposed to make of Junmo's little smile when Gicheol tells him "When I look at you, I see myself"??
What the actual fuck am I supposed to do when after spending the entire goddamn series relentlessly pursuing only one goal—arresting Gicheol—Junmo couldn't bring himself to do that in the end?
"Why did you let me go?" and Junmo has no answer. Just why the fuck did you let him go Park Junmo?
"To protect the two of you, I let go of everyone I had" Gicheol says it out loud, Junmo's goes unsaid. Because he too let go of everyone he had–euijeong, do young–his entire previous life.
"Why did you let me go?" "I wanted to protect you, too."

au where robb as grey wind gets free and, still thinking that jon is his only living sibling, goes north to meet him and jon proceeds to refuse to pick up a hint but in fairness robb is having to fight the fact that he now runs on wolf hardware and can easily derailed from proving that he has the capabilities of understanding human speech by jon waving a really good stick and then throwing it.
jon is still in general having a bad time but the dramatic irony is he’s like i’m such a weakling, im so crazed by grief, sometimes i stupidly think grey wind is robb returned to me, not just symbolically, that grey wind is some sort of magic sign,
meanwhile robb is biting into his stupid baby brothers sleeve and trying to drag him bodily out the door of the nights watch so jon can respect his will and take up the crown of the king of the north. jon is like okay this is some heavyhanded symbolism. going to lock you in the storage room now. and robb howls all night in frustration and then chews up jons boots in revenge.

Giyuu is the type to buy you flowers to confess his love but he’s so nervous he doesn’t realize the grip he has on the poor things. So when he hands them to you, the stems are bent and crinkled and some of the flowers droop. Giyuu apologizes, saying he’ll buy you more flowers.
