Definition of domestic abuse:
Domestic abuse is typically manifested as a pattern of abusive behavior toward an intimate partner in a dating or family relationship, where the abuser exerts power and control over the victim. Domestic abuse can be mental, physical, economic or sexual in nature.
Wilbur repeatably bit Shelby hard enough to cause bruises and pain, implanted a safe word to which he always ignored and weaponized. still bit her hard and would even purposely bite down harder if she screamed the safe word. Poke at the bruises for “fun” just to hurt her. Lock her inside his filthy home and make her clean up his filth.
William Patrick spencer gold domestically abused Shelby.
Definition of sexual assault:
The term sexual assault refers to sexual contact or behavior that occurs without explicit consent of the victim. Some forms of sexual assault include: Attempted rape. Fondling or unwanted sexual touching. Forcing a victim to perform sexual acts, such as oral sex or penetrating the perpetrator's body.
George put his hand under caiti’s shirt and touched/fondled her boobs in a room full of people while she was drunk and she didn’t explicitly consent.
George Davidson sexually assaulted caiti.

I'm not the best with words, and I think a few people are already saying these things and doing so better than I could, but I wanted to try to add some of my own points in light of everything happening in the mcyt and generally just cc space. First what I've seen other people are saying: - stop with the "all men bad" rhetoric stuff. point blank. Anyone can be an abuser, anyone can be a victim. Men can be victims, women can be abusers, it doesn't work one way. Not all abusers are men. - on the same note, stop with the TERF ideologies. I know it can be hard to notice, but please think over your words before making a big post that will get all these notes and views. Next point, I know "narcissistic abuse" is a thing people talk about, but it is not a real thing. Phycological or emotional abuse are far better terms, equally valid. Please stop throwing the word "narcissist" around. I know a lot of victims want to describe their abusers as narcissist but this is really vilifying people with NPD and Cluster B disorders. If the person doesn't meet the NPD criteria, or isn't diagnosed, don't call them a narcissist. And remember NOT ALL PEOPLE WITH NPD ARE EVIL AND ABUSERS. - people are rightfully trying to give advice to victims and people hoping they can stop them from going through what they went through, but saying things like "Here's how you defeat a narcissist" or even just "narcissists hate x" is contributing to the stigma that all people with NPD, and also people with Cluster B disorders, are evil, bad, and abusers. Please look for alternative terms. Don't let yourself become part of the problem. Don't let yourself become a reason a victim won't or doesn't feel safe coming out. Listen to victims, and remember not all victims are the same, don't expect victims to act one way. If you think I have said anything wrong please feel free to correct me, also please add on if you have any additional points.

Serious Talk.
I've been wanting to talk about this topic for a while now, but after everything that's been happening recently with Minecraft YouTubers, I think it's a topic worth discussing. (Please read the tw in the tags, before reading the rest) And no, this blog will not be about Wilbur or GNF. I'm not going to talk about the accusations or which side I'm on, after all I know very little about these people, as I've never been in their audience. In these types of situations, I always hope that everyone is okay, especially the victims. But again, this blog is not about them, they are just the starting point for me to decide to express my opinion on this matter.
Whenever something happens in this style, where an influencer/famous person is accused of something, I see dozens, if not hundreds of comments in this style "If it weren't for them I wouldn't be here today" "They're the reason I survived__" "They got me out of depression" Etc.. I want to say right away that I feel very proud of these people for being here today, for having overcome the worst phases of their lives, and living to see all this happen. However, I want to make something very clear here. It wasn't THEM. They weren't the ones who saved you. They are not the reason you are here now. YOU are. The only person who fought to be here today was YOU. The only person who knows everything YOU went through, who had to live through pain and suffering to see another day.
the only person who had to survive was YOU Yes. They may have been the starting point. Yes. They may have given you motivation to want to fight. But no. They weren't the ones who saved you YOU save yourself.
I know it hurts, but you don't know these people, and they don't know YOU! As much as "They seem to care", you are not part of their lives. Stop forgetting your battles and giving credit to people who don't even know what YOU went through!
You are here today, not because one of them saved you. You are here today, because of your strength, your perseverance, your effort, your blood and sweat. Please. Stop putting your life in their hands. They don't deserve you. You are incredible, you deserve to win, after all the struggle, all the pain. Was you. Only you. And I feel proud of you.
If you EVER need to talk, dm me. It can be about anything. Im here for You. Not to save. But to help you find a reason to save yourself.
-Love you, be safe <3

it’s crazy to me how extreme peoples opinions have been on both sides. You can understand that George is not an irredeemable monster AND that caiti was genuinely hurt by this. It doesn’t have to be one or the other
like george did wrong AND as a fan you dont need to white knight/dickride him because you like him AND you can support caiti while not wishing death/deportation on george AND her friends are shit AND this was ultimately also a miscommunication of intent and status and consent regardless of her friend's actions in the moment AND he needs to unlearn some shit AND what he did was not SA or rape AND the way a lot of people handled this situation was pretty fucking disgusting and oftentimes performative AND we also need to give a lot of other people grace and time to process stuff especially if they were blindsided like the rest of us about this

Influencer: someone who has a reputation of authority or expertise in a particular area and who uses that authority to engage with large numbers of social media followers
You should be responsible of what you do inside AND outside of your social media platforms.
You're not eliminated from the law because of your following. Celebrities get in trouble. Politicians get in trouble. Average people get in trouble.
And leveraging yourself by saying that it's not your fault because of this or you missed that is pathetic. Utterly pathetic. "oh I missed the 18 in her bio" what? I'm sorry what? Run that back a bit more... WHAT?
You're almost a decade older? She didnt even look 18.
"you didn't have a problem with this 6 months ago" okay and? Did you not think the consequences of your action would catch you?
If you didn't know. Opinions change. Realisation occur.
Is an abuse victim no longer an abuse victim because they didn't know 6 months ago? Is a murder no longer a murder because they didn't mean to kill those people 6 month ago?
Because personally if that was me, I'd be shitting bricks. Apologising. Asking what I did wrong. Not just taking accountability. Taking responsibility.
But you lose money the more you acknowledge it.
"but we were both drinking" so? You knew what you were doing because you clear remember it. Be a responsible adult.
Making an excuse for a major fuck up and thinking you can get away with it by downplaying the situation is ridiculous.
You did an OBJECTIVELY BAD THING. And you need to accept that. And find a solution.
Don't start with a "I'm sorry you feel this way but".
Start with a "I'm sorry".
You literally just need an I'm sorry without any justification in there. You hurt someone and you're 8 years older then them and can't find it in you to give a genuine apology even if you don't think you were wrong?
What?
And don't get me STARTED on the "But I like the persona not the person!" "I like the music but don't support the artist"

The fact that when I came back from the cinema wanting to see some cool art and people talking about interesting stuff after something so flipin awesome and the first thing i see was the dream team being so fucking rude during a CHARITY EVENT for their DEAD FRIEND is honestly so disheartening.
My grandfather was so lucky to get cancer twice and survive both times, I knew someone who lost her dad to cancer. I know someone who survived childhood cancer. One of my great grandparents died of cancer, my family on both sides is extremely family oriented if he never died I would have met him. The fucking disrespect that they showed should not be laughed at, it shouldn’t be encouraged.
The fact they were playing airhorns during Technodad’s speech, one that should have been respected and really quiet durning and no one interrupting is the fucking worse. I don’t care if dteam fans say that it’s funny and Techno would have laughed because it’s not the fucking point!!!
The whole festival was a charity event in honour of their friend, and for Technodad his fucking son. No one should have gone though this. I don’t care if this comes across as rude or overreacting because the dteam need to grow the fuck up and learn that their actions have fucking consequences for once.
This isn’t supporting a brand that’s actually a scam, this isn’t saying something offensive by accident. This is being rude and disrespectful.
And it even hurts that none of their fans are going to care a single bit because I don’t fucking know maybe they’ll say “but it was a joke” or “dream has ADHD your being ableist” because none of that shit matters when you realise that neither of those things matter when it’s about respect.
These are the same fans who will defend these mother fuckers to the grave but when someone like Niki Niahchu accidentally uses avae because she doesn’t know about American history or what avae is because she lives in Germany(or any non American country because the world doesn’t revolve around you fuckers) and is called overreactive during mcc and having a lot of stress put onto her and BREAKS DOWN ON STREAM it’s ok because they think it is.
I want dteam fans to see this post and be uncomfortable, I don’t care if I’m being mean to your pretty white boys because they have been allowed to do anything with a platform that is way to big for them for too long. I’m allowed to be angry as well, I’m allowed to be mean, I’m not apologising to you if you feel sad that I’m being mean about them because they need to grow up.
Charlie had every right to tell dream to shut up during that stream.
Edit: I’m not going to be answering anymore asks about this post, I want my blog to be a personal space for me. This post wasn’t supposed to get as big as it has and just for me to rant. I’m only going to be accepting art requests and general asks and nothing about this. I’m 14 please leave me alone.

It’s important to remember not to idolize celebrities and content creators. We don’t know these people, don’t idolize them, don’t put them on a pedestal. We don’t know who these people are when they are not on camera and it’s so important to remember that. You don’t know who any of these people are truly and so don’t act like you do. Don’t defend their actions especially since these are mostly all grown men and women.

(working on fics, school is a a bitch rn)
i wanted to say smth about all the recent drama involving several mcyts. i am absolutely irrelevant but i am exhausted of seeing each one of the creators that got me thru covid go down the drain.
wilbur is an abuser. a creepy one too.
george sexually assaulted an 18 year old girl while intoxicated, and i don't think he's streamed his response yet.
dream is a whole bunch of bad things, most prominently a pedophile
but watching as relevant creators spiral and do terrible things is just exhausting. like how hard is it to be a decent human? to not bite your gf??? or get minors drunk??? like what the fuck??? i think about this every single day.
i do not wilbur to become so terribly cancelled that Lovejoy breaks up. i would be very distraught and upset. you don't have to support anyone you don't want to, but i care too deeply about the other members of that band and their music to stop supporting them. i truly believe that wilbur george and dream deserve the chance to understand why what they did was wrong. NOT forgiveness. do not forgive, do not forget. take accountability and learn from your mistakes.
punz is a different case. i didn't follow him in the height of his career so i had no idea who Andi was. or is for that matter. I saw her comments on Tumblr, and punz's response. i think that the fact that punz spewed PARAGRAPHS of evidence and accountability is damning george ever single second. i don't think punz abused or assaulted anyone, but he definitely made mistakes that again, shouldn't be forgiven or forgotten. i hope he, along with the rest of them, learn not only how to take accountability for their actions, but also understand WHY those things are wrong. Punz did explain why he knew they were wrong, but just a fact, not an excuse. i really hope others can follow in his footsteps. or better yet, be a decent human being.
i'm tired. i'm sick of all my previously favorite creators being accused of one thing after another and it all being true. it's exhausting and i haven't downloaded twitter for a reason 💀 i wish the absolute best for the victims and am with them in every step of the way. Please support victims and be proud of them coming and sharing their stories. 💕
anyways yea fart doodie

Cate anon here, you make good points. In the hours since I sent the ask I thought about it more and I think I came off way too negative. People have the capacity for change, i don’t want to deny cate or any other cc that. I really do hope that if any good comes from this, it’s cc’s realizing they made a mistake and that getting all their opinions from twitter w/o doing their own research or just saying things for brownie points isn’t a good idea, both for their mental health and their careers long term.
🫂 yeah i think theres also a discussion to be had about the immense amount of pressure to do the "right thing" because these are people's literal careers on the line (and people have had it), but i think as much as i dislike and ciritque content creators who constantly go with their audience and not think critically about situations (literally what the thing i wrote about rboo was about), its so much harder to have a spine and actually stand up for yourself/admit things aren't black and white because of 1) the culture surrounding the fandoms and 2) the complexity and nuance of real life situations that dont translate well to algorithms like twitter's that purposely exist to get a strong and radical reaction out of viewers on the platform. i also wish that people would realize the difference between bad faith interactions and people simply wanting clarity of information before they know what exactly they're supporting or condemning -- it is infinitely much more effective to communicate the exact problem and its source (and also how to fix it) rather than telling someone what NOT to support based on emotion and discouraging people to think for themselves

Listen up!
IF Dream, George or Sapnap post a vlog don’t go into the comments telling Dream to “Talk” or “Admit to what he did” or anything like that.
The situation is being handled legally, you are not the police, you are not a judge and you definitely don’t have all the information.
Do not ruin the first irl vlog of the Dream team, got it?
