ARTISTS FOR PALESTINE 🇵🇸 - ROUND 2!! On the 16th and 23rd of March, I'll be doing art requests on stream with other notable artists to raise money for Operation Olive Branch and Project Watermelon.

This round's roster is very lucky to include notable webcomic artists like explodikid, Graveweaver, Curryuku and Speremint who respectively create Covenant, I'm The Grim Reaper, Not So Shoujo Love Story and Brimstone and Roses on WEBTOON. We also have Onstamonsta, an artist, streamer and Kiryu fan who Drawfee fans might recognise and the exceptionally talented Jessie Lam!

Last fundraising event was a great success, and I hope some of you might show up for this next round of streams. All money will be donated directly to Palestinian escape funds as the situation of Rafah is becoming exponentially worse (and if you'd like to donate directly, here's a link to a spreadsheet of over 750!)

As always, these fundraisers will always be available to watch over on my twitch channel. Thank you all and free Palestine!

Gaza e-sims: an initiative to keep Gaza residents & reporters on the ground connected despite the targeted communication blackouts.

Ground initiatives: those are groups of people with the resources and ability to distribute aid in ad-hoc fashion to those most in need. The PCRF: Palestine Children's Relief Fund is an independent and reputable organization with 30+ years of service for Palestinian children.

UNRWA: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, established in 1949 to support and pay reparations for Palestinian refugees whom are denied their right of return (most of Gaza residents at the moment). This org was recently defunded by your usual colonizer suspects, in an illegitimate attempt to put pressure on the UN after ICJ/CIJ ruling that recognized Palestinians as a distinct ethnic group in plausible threat of genocide.

Daily Click on arab.org: a NGO that collects interaction revenue and sends it to multiple other orgs in support of Palestine

A US military ship in Oakland will be docking in the Tacoma port next week to pick up and deliver weapons intended for the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.

URGENT UPDATE: We have received information that the boat in Oakland is currently on its way to Tacoma. We are going to show up and block the boat!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Trektastic Zine is holding a fundraiser for Palestine. 🇵🇸

We did say we had an announcement to make and here it is!

First of all, we are aware that this is a divisive topic amongst people and that we may well receive backlash for this, however we have decided to stand by our principles. No human beings deserve to live under violent occupation (or, to be frank, genocide). We also feel it is right to utilise a platform like this project to make a difference if we can.

What's happening?

We have created some designs which show solidarity for Palestine and which (subtly - we don't want to sideline Palestine as the main focus) incorporate Star Trek themes, in order to link this cause to the theme of our zine. We will be selling these designs as badges and stickers - which we are in the process of ordering an initial small batch of. We will restock if they sell successfully.

Where is the money going?

Any and all profits we make from these products will be donated directly to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), which works to provide immediate medical care to Palestinians suffering under occupation, in Gaza and the West Bank as well as in Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.

fuck. ehab, the organiser of Direct Aid For Gaza, has very possibly just come down with covid. the result of israel kettling him and over a million other gazans into rafah for slaughter. presently, his condition doesn't appear to be great.

despite being ill and temporarily pausing his work, he's still trying to gather supplies for his own family.
