FNAF MOVIE SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT..
I have MANY THOUGHTS about Mike's family and here they are
Tumblr media
Okay so I've been thinking and there is NO WAY Mike Schmidt isn't related to Afton.
When we see the actual William Afton reveal, the picture Vanessa shows of her as a kid features the little orange plane.
Tumblr media
This SAME PLANE is the one Garett has in all of Mike's flashbacks, on the day he got taken. When Afton himself shows up, he says "first I killed your brother, now I kill you." Which confirms that yes, he was the one who took Garett on that fateful day.
How would Afton have known to be there? He likely didn't take Garett on instinct because it happened so fast, plus Garett didn't seem scared in the car so he must have known Will to some extent. Plus, it's in a NATIONAL PARK. Was he just waiting there??? Or was it revenge?
I think that Mike's mother remarried from the Aftons, and ended up with Mr Schmidt, who she must have married semi-recently if Garett didn't seem scared about Afton's presence. She possibly could have had an affair that Mike was simply unaware of, or he just never knew his real father, that being William Afton.
Going back to the plane- Vanessa had it, as did Garett. Sure, I'm not saying that there's only one of those planes in existence, but this is FNAF we're talking about.
Either Afton took the plane from Garett after killing him and gave it to Vanessa, or Garett and Mike's side of the family got to keep it when Mrs Schmidt separated from Afton.
This also ties to when 'Steve Raglan' was shocked into silence and leaned in to examine Mike's face after reading the name Schmidt. Either he recognized the surname of one kid he killed over a decade ago, or he recognized the family name of the man his ex-wife married. William Afton recognized his son, and his son simply doesn't remember him.
"They say everything you learn in life, down to the last detail, is stored inside your brain. All you have to do is remember."
This EXACT QUOTE from Mike seems a little too on-the-nose when taken into this context.
Now, when we look at it all, we have Mike Schmidt and Vanessa... who are really Michael Afton and Vanessa Afton.
Vanessa is conveniently in a coma at the end of the movie too, so she can't immediately clear up this information until the sequel. The SAVETHEM-style letters read out in the credits also say "COMEFINDME", which directly references the "now.. I'm going to come find you." Line from Michael Afton at the end of Sister Location, in reference to Springtrap. His father. William Afton.

the thing with william is, he was never going to be the dad Vanessa wanted and deserved.
He stabbed his daughter without much contempt. Vanessa believed he loved her too until the very moment he inserted the blade on her stomach.
He didn't have the decency to react, either, and I think that's worse than him smiling while doing it
He looks bored, annoyed. He looks at Vanessa after stabbing her with an air of resignation, "Now you made me do this. This is on you."
And after she drops to the floor, "Oh well, if it had to be done."
Stabbing his daughter was just a small price to pay for symmetry. For destroying a whole family.
Mother died, dad left/killed himself, older brother and younger sister at his mercy, middle brother kidnapped and murdered, his own daughter limp at his feet.
He felt invincible.

Thinking about Mike being Emily again. The way he was looking at the animatronics and pizzeria (before knowing it was haunted) like it's familiar but he can't put his finger on it and just disregards it. The trauma of Garett and his family turmoil probably fucked up his memory so severely where he forget everything about Henry's work.
Plus, I heavily think that the reason Garett was kidnapped by William was to take the pizzeria for himself. Henry would be grieving so bad to the point he'd quit work and give everything to his partner. William would have everything to himself, and he could murder as many kids and create several killer robots without Henry in the picture.
"But why Nebraska?"
Well. Think about it. Mike's family was far away from home, in a completely new location. If William took Garrett there, it'd be harder to find him. And it makes sense how easily Garret would get abducted because he recognizes William as Henry's friend.
But idk. Just crazy silly talk. What do you think

Helloo. I just saw the fnaf movie yesterday and it was amazing to me. Wanted to ask if you could write dating/being in love with Mike would include and knowing him since childhood and know what he is going through (because the parents knew each other)
ofc!
DATING MIKE SCHMIDT WOULD INCLUDE
Tumblr media
MIKE SCHMIDT X READER
— Naturally from his past Mike was fairly shaken up throughout his childhood yet you remained his friend, attempting to give him some normality and continue to experience childhood.
— He appreciated you for it, you were the only person he could confine in without being told to “move on”. You knew how Garett’s death had affected Mike and didn’t try to give him useless advice.
— It took Mike awhile to admit his feelings for you despite how many years he’d held them in for. He was patient, believing due to his lack of relationship experience and his nightmare fuelled nights he’d be no good for you.
— Mike also valued your friendship meaning he’d rather push away whatever he felt for you in order to keep your friendship. However that promise to himself didn’t last long and luckily his feelings were reciprocated.
— At first he was awkward around giving affection but he soon got comfortable with it once he realised you were comfortable too.
— It took him a few weeks to say “I love you” despite the fact he’d loved you for years. It was easier in his head. After he said it once with certainty, he said it more frequently.
— He’ll give you lingering kisses on your forehead and found it comforting and reassuring. He’ll give you quick kisses on the cheek and lips before work followed by “I love you.”
— (might make an imagine for this) Of course there are his nightmares where he’d flinch awake. You hug him from behind and kiss the back of his neck until he relaxes. He never really falls back asleep but he enjoys your comfort, assured you’re still there with him. Somewhere in the night you’ll stir and turn over, unknowingly letting go of him. He’ll end up turning over and hugging you from behind instead, his head resting just beneath your shoulder.
— After his experience at Freddy’s he likes having you close. He likes knowing where you are and will give you frequent texts to ask how you’re doing. Sometimes Mike worries he does this too much but the underlying fear of losing you is constant.
— Most dates are spent at his house, the two of you preferring the comfort of the home instead of a restaurant. You’ll get takeaway, throw on some shitty movie neither of you probably won’t enjoy but won’t mention and eventually fall asleep against each other on the couch. Usually you’ll only go to restaurants on special occasions; on yours, Mike’s or Abby’s birthday or an anniversary.
— You sometimes babysat Abby before and after getting with Mike and she loves you. She seizes any opportunity to tease Mike about you.
— You and Mike both have a sarcastic sense of humour and usually it makes up some amusing conversations between the two of you, meaning a lot of banter.
— Overall Mike is comfortable with you and can sometimes be protective and defensive which he apologises for. It’ll always comes down to the risk of losing you.

A soft knock is enough for Mike to stir in his sleep but not enough to wake him. Abby is drawing happily in her room, content for now after you bribed her with chicken nuggets and a lengthy story time to come after. She’s been missing Mike. And she’s been wanting to go to work with him. You’re not sure how much longer you can tempt her to stay at home instead of going to the pizzeria.
You close the door, a soft click following suit. He’s still sound asleep, completely unaware of your nearing presence. He asked you to wake him up. But it’s hard when he looks so peaceful. The sounds of birds and crickets reach your ear. You sigh. How long was he going to chase the past?
“Mike,” you say gently. “Time to go.”
His brows furrow, a murmur falling from his lips. With a smile you shake your head, the bed creaks as you take a seat. “Come on dummy,” you pinch his cheek and his eyelids flutter. “You’re going to be late.”
“So close,” he mutters, his head moving to rest on your lap. Your heart jumps. All you want to do is thread your fingers through his hair and keep him exactly where he is but you know it’s not likely. As soon as he’s fully awake he’ll pull up his walls. “Can you help me take off my poster from the ceiling?”
As he talks his lips move above your thigh, the soft fabric of your sweats leaving little to the imagination. “Why?”
“Gonna take it to work,” his voice is hoarse with sleep.
A sudden annoyance prickles over your skin, heat building in your stomach— Again with the dreams. Again with wanting to change the past. You’ve been working for him for months now (though can you really say you’ve been working for him when he hasn’t been paying you?) and he’s always been the same. You understand. You really do. But Garett isn’t here anymore, Abby is—you are.
“No, Mike,” you say, your eyes following his sharp jawline dusted with a bit of stubble. He stirs a bit, legs moving underneath the covers one leg pops out. You swallow. It’s unbelievable the things he doesn’t notice about the people around him. His eyes finally open and you lean back, you’re not a fan of the angle. “Look, the poster is on the damn ceiling. What do you want me to do? Carry you on my shoulders?”
“I was thinking the opposite.”
“Whatever you have in mind my answer is still no,” you eye the book on the bedside table. “You shouldn’t be sleeping on the job, you know that.”
“It’s called decorating,” he answers with a hint of annoyance laced into his voice. Well, he’s not the only one. He peels himself away from your lap and leans against the wall, you miss the heat of him already. “Besides what do you care about what I do during the job?”
“That place gives me the creeps. I’d prefer it if you’re fully awake.”
Mike sighs and stretches, the soft fabric of his shirt sliding up, a sliver of skin shows. Your knees brush against one another. It almost feels like you’re kids just hanging out with the parents still sleeping. It’s reminiscent, in a way. He runs a band over his face.
“You don’t need to worry about me.”
“Too late for that.”
“I’ll pay you with my next paycheck promise.”
You turn to him, eyes narrowing, “Don’t change the subject. You know I don’t care about any of that at this point. It’s been months, Mike. I would be gone if that was what I only cared about.”
He seems distraught by your answer, even more so than normal. “I... I know that. But you're always here, looking after Abby, taking care of the house. . . I want you to have a life and not be stuck here for Abby’s sake.”
Ouch. Have a life? You don’t think Mike realizes that he basically shoved a knife in your chest.
You slide off of the bed, your heart beats quick, a bit too quick for comfort. “Sorry that me helping out is a sign that I have nothing better to do,” you snap. You hear the start of an apology escaping his lips, both feet touching the ground as he contemplates if he should get up or not. “And if you’re so guilty about me being here maybe you should be here yourself.”
The regret settles even before you leave the room. You know he’s going to be thinking about what you said and twist it into the worst possible meaning his brain can fathom—which can be quite dark knowing Mike.
You’re halfway down the hall, heading to the kitchen when Mike catches up to you. He takes hold of your wrist, slightly tugging you back until he’s got your full attention. You give it to him. Eyes fluttering as you find it hard to look into his eyes. He’s too expressive. You hate being able to see every emotion flickering in them, and likeways you’re scared he can read you just as clearly.
“What the hell is that supposed to mean?”
Oh, you’ve never heard him this mad before. Your eyes drop to where he’s holding you, his fingers an iron vice around your wrist. Your pulse races, the tips of your ears warm. His gaze follows where you’re staring, you expect him to let go but he doesn’t, instead, he squeezes harder, his thumb following the vein on the inside of your wrist. “Is this why you’re here? To play hero to my life?”
Your eyes narrow, “Fuck off, Mike,” you yank your wrist away, a bit of skin catching on his nail. It stings. “Just go to work. I’ll see you in the morning.”
Tumblr media
You had just dropped off Abby to school and promptly doing the dishes before you head out. You didn’t need to wash the dishes perse, but you were hoping Mike would show up before you left. Alas, it was almost noon, and still no signs of him. Not even a phone call. Which he would usually do if he was coming back later than normal.
You two did end the conversation quite nastily, so you guess you shouldn’t be too surprised that he hasn’t shown up, hoping that you’d leave before he came back.
A bit too aggressively, you knead the sponge until suds appear. He’s a moron. A complete idiot to think that you were only around just out of pity. His words stung and biting back probably wasn’t the best solution. Shaking your head, you grab a plate and rub it hard enough to potentially peel off the enamel coating.
“Stupid,” you murmur, finding a bit of relief in letting the words slip. “Stupid, idiot, moron—”
“You shouldn’t do the dishes if it makes you that angry.”
Your turn with a jerk, “Mike!” A plate slips, crashing into the sink, without even thinking another cuss drops from your mouth and you dunk your hand into the water to grab it. Just as your fingers graze the sharp pointed ceramic, Mike yanks your hand out of the water.
“Are you crazy?” he says surprisingly calm, as if he’s to tired to raise his voice or show panic within the words. “Just leave it, I’ll clean it later.”
Your chest heaves, he holds your wrist vastly differently compared to last night. Eyes wide, you feel the rise and fall of your chest, his gaze momentarily follows the movement before sliding his hand to your elbow. A shudder runs up your spine, your breath coming in short pants, your fingers curl into your palm.
“Sorry,” he murmurs letting go. “I didn’t mean to scare you.”
“You’re still holding me, Mike.” He looks tired. The skin under his eyes darker than usual, he even looks a bit beat up. Closing his lips, he swallows thickly and lets go. Your hands are still dripping water, you wipe them dry against your shirt. “Rough night?”
He shakes his head, “No. Just the normal. Dreams were a bit rougher than usual.”
“You took your poster then?”
His lips press into a thin line and he takes a seat. Fighting the urge to close your eyes, you bring out a bowl, milk, and stale store-brand froot loops. His lips tentatively twitch into a small smile.
“It’s Abby you’re taking care of,” he says. “I can look after myself.”
“Can you?”
He ignores the subtle bite in your remark and pours himself a bowl of cereal. He doesn’t eat immediately, letting the colorful hoops sit there for a while, he clears his throat. “I got my paycheck.”
“Congrats.”
“I can pay you.”
“I guess you can.”
His eyes flash, brows furrowing, “Why are you being so difficult?”
“I’m—” Once again his words hit a nerve. Difficult. Something you often heard right before people left you. Difficult difficult difficult. “I’m not.”
Mike shifts and stands straighter, your eyes drift to the cereal—must be soggy as hell now. “I know,” he says barely above a whisper. “Yeah, I know you’re not. Sorry.”
“It’s fine,” You lie. “And about the other thing, you can pay me later. Get Abby a new set of crayons, she’s going so fast through those things that I’m scared she’s just swallowing them,” you smile weakly as you get up. “I’ll be back before your shift, okay? And I think I should take some time off for a little while.”
“What?” Mike stands up with you, his shoulders rise, the muscles in his jaw flexing. “Why? Is. . . Is it because of last night? I’m—”
“You’re sorry I know,” you sigh. “It has nothing to do with you. I just. . . I just need to think for a while. I. . just a day, okay, just give me a day.”
His demeanor changes, his shoulders drop, his eyes grow soft. He nods and you take that as your cue to leave. You grab your back off the couch and he follows you to the hallway. With your hand around the doorknob, you hear him one more time.
“I care about you, you know,” he calls out and you swear you hear the bob of his Adam’s apple. “I don’t show it but I do.”
You don’t know how to answer him without bursting like a bubble, exposing every setting emotion that rolls in your gut. Your fingers tighten around the metal and you nod without looking.
Tumblr media
“Red crayon, please.”
You roll your eyes playfully, a small smile playing on your lips, “Abby, it’s literally right in front of you.” She just shrugs and extends her tiny palm towards you. “Fine you little artist, here you go.”
You place the crayon in her open palm, she slowly closes her fingers around it and starts coloring vigorously. With a smile, your eyes move back to the TV, you’re not sure what’s happening on the screen. The picture on the screen blurs a little, static growing and growing until a soft creak of the floor catches your attention. You turn to see Mike leaning against the doorframe. You wonder how long he’s been there, watching you and his sister occupy the normalcy of the living room.
“Hey,” he says.
“Hey.”
Abby doesn’t bother to look up, too entranced in her drawing. Mike sighs as his gaze lingers on his sister. “Abby can you give us a minute?”
She blinks before she looks up, suddenly startled, her curious eyes flits between the two of you. “Are you two gonna fight?”
“No, Abby,” Mike answers, exasperated.”We’re not going to fight. Just. . . talk.”
Surprisingly Abby leaves without much protest. She gathers her things and heads to her room, while walking past Mike, he softly ruffles her air. She sticks her tongue out and glares at him before disappearing completely. His face falls a bit upon meeting your gaze. You pat the empty seat next to you but he ends up sitting on the coffee table instead, your knees brushing together, he levels you with a soft look.
“She’s going to ask questions you know.”
“I don’t care,” he says hastily. “I do think we need to talk.”
“Fine then. . . talk.”
He seems unsure of himself now, “I know you’re mad about me because of what I said but I didn’t mean it—”
“It’s not that,” you cut in. “Sure I was hurt, but that’s not what frustrates me about you, Mike. You have to let go. . . of him. He’s gone, Abby’s here.”
He suddenly stands up, taking you by surprise, heads towards the kitchen. Your pulse rises as your eyes remain glued to the TV. In the distance, you hear him, “You don’t get to say that to me,” he hisses through gritted teeth. “You don’t know what it’s like.”
You hear the fridge door opening and closing. You know he’s doing it simply to get away from you, from what you’re saying. You follow him, anger warming your cheeks, you find him leaning back against the kitchen counter, knuckles turned white while holding the edge.
“So just because I didn’t lose a sibling I don’t get to talk about it?” you scoff. “That’s bullshit.”
“You don’t know what’s it like to lose someone and for it to be out of your control.” He’s shaking slightly, shoulders rounding as he speaks. “I need to know who did it. And I’m close, so fucking close.”
You shake your head and finally, with a burst of bravery, you hold his face between your hands. His mouth closes shut. Your chest feels as if someone filled it to the brim with rocks. It’s heavy and overwhelming. You can barely breathe as you fix your gaze on him. Without even realizing you begin to stroke the apple of his cheeks, you swear he leans into your touch, your bodies growing closer.
“Listen to me, Mike,” your voice trembles. “If you don’t stop you’ll end up losing everyone who cares about you.”
His hand closes over yours, “Does that include you too?”
“What if it did?”
“I can’t. . .” he chokes. “I can’t stop.”
You pull away, body feeling chilled in his absence. You blink away the tears, swallow the persistent knot in your throat. It was an empty threat. You know you won’t leave, no matter how insistently you implied that you might. “Then I think you should go. You’re going to miss your shift.”
“Fuck my shift.”
You feel the soft touch of his lips. It grows violent, smothering. You moan eagerly into his mouth, your wrist caught between his fingers, he pulls you closer. Mike slips his tongue between your lips and tastes you eagerly. Arousal pools between your legs, your stomach bottoming out as he whimpers and licks himself deeper into you. You melt against him. Your nipples tight and tingling with every lick.
His hand curls around the back of your neck, the gentle pressure making you break away, “Mike—” you whisper, eyes teary. He licks the seam of your lips and teases your bottom lip with his teeth. Slack-jawed, you tilt your head back, he eagerly dips down and closes his lips around your neck. “Take me to your room.”
Tumblr media
He’s gentle. So painfully gentle that you fear your heart might stop at any given moment. The back of his fingers trace the contours of your body slowly, gooseflesh rising in his wake, he buries his face into the crook of your neck and takes deep breaths as he lifts your shirt. Your eyes roll when his hands immediately cup both your breasts, thumbs toying with your pebbled nipples. The pads of his thumbs smooth over them slowly, it’s almost ticklish. A shiver runs up your spine and you gasp, he sucks the air that escapes your lungs, slanting his lips over yours.
The seam of your panties gather with slick. You desperately rub your thighs together. Heat blossoms over patches of skin, Mike sucks on your bottom lip and toys with the waistband of your sweats. “Can I taste you?”
“Yes,” you pant, the thought of his tongue parting you making you near delirious. Your breath hitches.
He gives your cheek a quick peck, “You have to get on the floor. My bed is too loud.”
“Just how hard are you planning to fuck me?”
His eyes darken, “Until you’re a mess.”
You drop to the ground, Mike following you close with kisses down the column of your neck. Your legs spread and he tugs down your sweats, revealing your soaked cunt. His chest heaves. You follow the movement of his tongue as it swipes over his bottom lip, his thumb dips between your folds and moves up to brush over your clit. Your legs twitch, electricity coursing over your burning skin.
“You have to keep quiet,” he groans, fingers slipping inside. Your head drops back, your back arches. A violent breath of air rips from your lungs and before it can become louder, you cover your mouth with both hands. “Good,” he murmurs, breath tickling your throbbing clit. Mike tentatively closes his lips around it, sucking, he pushes his fingers deeper.
Your throat constructs in of itself. Waves of pleasure washing over you like warm grains of sand. The sounds coming out of you are downright sinful and with each thrust of his fingers it gets louder. Your insides clench around him and at the same time he curls his fingers, your eyes squeeze shut, your lips moving against the inside of your hand. Too good. It feels too good.
Without even noticing you had begun to grind your hips, the sensitive bundle of nerves pressing against his mouth harder. Mike moans wantonly into you, the sound coming out muffled. He moves his head side to side and flattens his tongue over your clit. Your fingers delve into the soft locks as you pull him closer.
He delves his tongue back and forth, rougher this time, faster. Your body goes rigid, forcing you to cry out into your hands as your orgasm takes you over. Sudden sparks of pleasure clash throughout your body, intensifying to unbelievable heights as he plays with your swollen nub. His mouth and fingers move endlessly until you’re gasping for air, shattered remnants of your desperate pleas mashed against your palm.
Mike glances up, eyes wild yet passionate with a cheshire-cat grin. His lips and jaw are soaked, glistening under the dim light. You feel your entire body motionless. He withdraws his fingers, licking them off one by one, he moves up your body and pushes his fingers between your lips. You swirl your tongue around them feverishly. Your cheeks unnaturally warm and heart thrumming fast against your ribcage.
He pulls his fingers out, gently cupping the underside of your chin, he rolls his hips. Your breath catches at the feel of his cock against your sopping core, you squeeze his shoulders, nails leaving crescent moons on his skin.
Mike doesn’t bother to remove his clothes, instead, he slides his hand between your bodies and under his pants, pulling out his dripping cock, he aligns himself with your core. He pushes into you inch by inch, the sounds you make getting louder and louder—Mike covers your mouth with his hand. “‘Gotta keep silent,” he breathes into your skin.
You nod frantically, your gasp bouncing off of his palm when he bottoms out. A loud groan escapes his lips, eyes meeting yours as his lips part. At the sight you clench around him, a fresh gush of wetness coating his cock.
Mike moves slowly inside you, finding a deep, rhythmic, steady rhythm that carries you towards bliss. His hips sway sensually, his thrusts pushing against the deepest parts of you. His hands tangle into your hair, and his eyes meet yours with a softened gaze. His breath is at your neck, and a guttural moan escapes his lips as he moves against you.
“Does—Does it feel good?” you whimper.
“Feels amazing,” he breathes into your open mouth, hips drilling into you, relentless. “You’re so fucking wet—”
He guides both of your hands up your chest to your breasts, holding them subtly as you both explore each other’s bodies, his lips finding your neck and shoulders. Your fingers begin to move deftly over your hardened nipples.
Breaking eye contact, he moves his lips down your neck, pressing them against your collarbone. His hips move faster now, and his hands roam over your body. You squeeze your breasts as a wave of pleasure washes over you, spilling out uncontrolled moans and cries that are subdued by his mouth above yours. He swallows the sounds you make.
He presses himself in deeper, hips slamming into yours, you feel yourself quickly barreling to the edge. Your eyes tear up and his hand slips away from your mouth, down to your waist. You claw at his back, your toes curling. Mike breathes heavily against your skin, and his thrusts grow desperate. You lock eyes with him one last time before you come undone in his arms, your orgasm crashing around him—He quickly pulls out, making your breath hitch painfully at the loss of contact, he comes over your stomach. Cock sliding over the sweat-soaked skin.
“Shit,” he grunts. “Fuck—That. . . that felt amazing.”
Before you can answer he kisses you deeply. His tongue dances above yours, his hips still softly rolling as his cock softens. “Don’t go,” he whispers into your mouth, kissing you again. “Please don’t go.”
You thread your fingers into the damp locks that are scattered over the back of his head, you tug gently, his eyes fluttering for a moment, a puff of air sensually leaving his lips.
“I won’t,” you answer, nipping the corner of his chin. “Not sure I could even if I tried.”

hi !! could you possibly do a oneshot or something where Mike comes home from work early one morning and he sees that the reader (could be GN or male if you happen to write male stuff) is still asleep on the couch, (they take Max’s place in being Abby’s babysitter but they DON’T work for the aunt) and he’s so tired that he ends up grabbing a blanket and cuddling up next to them? and then when they wake up they’re like “mike?? are you okay??” and he’s just a flustered mess? thank you so much! <3
Wakey Wakey
Pairings: Mike Schmidt x male!reader
Description: after a long night at work, mike just needs some comfort from abby’s babysitter, aka, his boyfriend
Warnings: little tiny sexual innuendo at the end if you squint, falling asleep together, fight scene kinda? mostly fluff tho
Words:  704
Prompt: cuddling
A/N: I LAURVED WRITING THIS MIKE IS MY LOVEEEEEEEEE send me more requests for him cus tbh, this was fun af
Mike had just had one of the worst nightmares in his life. So bad, in fact, that he left work early. It was the same nightmare he had been having for years, but instead of finding his little brother, Garett, gone a minute too late, he came face to face with the kidnapper. Only the kidnapper had a mask on- a yellow bunny mask with a purple bowtie at the bottom.
Having been caught off guard, Mike ended up on the ground, beaten and bruised, as he watched his younger brother be coaxed into the station-wagon, and driven away, never to be seen again.
As if the dream wasn’t enough, he had woken up feeling incredibly sore. Bruises littered his arms and torso, but nothing too serious. Mike was too tired to stop and question why he even had bruises in the first place. It was only a dream after all... right?
It was only 4:58 when Mike got to his house- a mere hour before he should have even left work in the first place. He fumbled with his keys, trying to find the right one to open the house. When had he acquired so many keys?
All the lights were off, except for the light above the stove, which provided just enough light for Mike to find his way to the sofa. He sat, letting his eyes adjust to the darkness, when he heard a soft snore. He looked to his right to find y/n curled up under a fleece blanket. He smiled softly. How did he get such a handsome boyfriend? And one that happened to babysit as well?
Mike scooted closer to y/n, pulling him close to his body and laying down against the pillow behind him, so that he was holding y/n. After a while he let sleep overtake him.
When y/n woke up, he was definitely surprised to see Mike home early, much less on the couch with him rather than in his own bed. Y/n crawled over Mike quietly, tiptoeing to the kitchen and turning the stove light off, as the natural light began to fill the kitchen.
He pulled out the egg carton from the fridge, as well as a pack of bacon. If Mike was home early, y/n might as well surprise him with breakfast.
“Is that eggs and bacon I smell?” Abby loudly ran into the kitchen.
“Shhh, we don’t wanna wake your brother, do we?”
“Oh right,” She whispered. “Is that eggs and bacon I smell?” She said much quieter that time.
“Yeah, thought I’d surprise Mike,” Y/n said, laughing a little to himself.
“And why is that?” Y/n jumped a little when he heard Mike’s voice. He turned to see Mike still in his security outfit with messy hair and a crooked smile on his face.
“Well you certainly surprised me when I woke up,” Y/n said. Mike blushed.
“That wasn’t- I didn’t-”
“It’s okay Mike. I liked waking up like that.” Y/n said with a soft smile.
“Waking up like what?” Abby asked, looking between the two boys.
“In your brother’s arms,” Y/n said, making Mike blush again. Abby simply stuck her tongue out and faked throwing up.
“When I grow up, I’m never gonna be in love. It’s gross,” Abby said.
“You might change your mind hun,” Y/n said.
“No,” Abby stated, matter of factly, pulling a piece of paper out of who know where and began coloring with the crayons that were already spread out on the table from last nights drawing session.
Mike wandered closer to y/n, wrapping his arms around y/n and hugging him from behind. When y/n placed his hands over Mike’s, Mike hissed.
“Mike-” Y/n looked at Mike’s knuckles that were raw from the “dream” fight. “Are you okay love? What happened?”
“It’s nothing, don’t worry about it,” Mike murmured. Y/n got the hint that he didn’t want to talk about it but he kept it in his mind that he should ask again later.
“I liked waking up like that,” Y/n said.
“Yeah?” Mike asked, placing a kiss on y/n’s jaw.
“Yeah.”
“Well I liked falling asleep like that. Let’s do it in my bed next though. WAIT- I DIDN’T MEAN IT LIKE THAT!”

FNAF Movie parallel Theory/Incoherent Ramblings! (Spoilers ahead.)
Originally, I was gonna give my thoughts on the film but I'm bad at opinions so theory time it is! This is just for fun and to share my thoughts.
I've only seen the film once so I might have misremembered a few things here or there. But there's no harm looking for connections and parallel to the games/books!
Tumblr media
Since Mike isn't an Afton... his dad could be a subtle parallel to Henry Emily. Which would make Garett and/or Abby a parallel to Charlie.
Of course, the Schmidt family still has elements of the Aftons. But with all the changes to the lore, the Emily roles could have been added on rather than being non-existent like it seems.
Now, you may be wondering if I'm just desperately digging for any sign of Henry Emily in this film cus he's my favorite character (aside from Michael Afton). And to that I say-
...
Shhhhhhh... Pretend it's not that obvious.
Anywho, let's get to some of these parallels! Shall we?
Aunt Jane… Aunt Jen? Her name being a possible parallel to Henry's sister in the books.
Kinda a weak point here but I'll include it anyways. The Schmidt family is showed to be Christian, evident by Mike remembering them gathered around the table saying grave before eating. "For one of you, the darkest pit of hell has opened to swallow you whole, so don't keep the Devil waiting, old friend."
Mike mentioned that his father couldn't handle the lost of Garret, vaguely implying he took his own life. In both the books and the games, Henry committed suicide due to the lost of his child. Silver Eyes had the Suicide Bot and Pizza Sim had the fire. "I am remaining as well. I am nearby."
Garret's death happened before the Missing Children Incident. In the photo that Vanessa shows with her as a child next to her father as Spring Bonnie, she has the same toy plane Garret had when he taken. Which Mike notices. But, with that photo being at the Pizzeria, it's assumed it's still open during that time. Yet Vanessa mentions the Pizzeria was closed shorty after the 5 children went missing. That photo probably wouldn't exist in that form if the place was dealing with an police investigation and a threat of closure.
During Mike's dream sequences, Garret seems unnervingly calm. Almost as though he went willingly. Yet it wouldn't make sense, out in the middle of a forest, for William to be dressed in the SpringBonnie suit in an attempt to lure him. But, if William was a family friend and trusted by his father, it would be easier to get Garret into his car.
If Garret Schmidt was a random child he abducted and murdered on a mere whim, why would "Steve Raglan" recognize that last name? Unless he saw missing posters, the news of the disappearance, or was keeping track of the viticm's families, why remember that random child you killed back in the 80s? One that wasn't even a part of the Missing Children's Incident at Freddy's?
At the end credits, there's the "COME FIND ME" audio easter egg resembling "SAVE THEM." A minigame heavily linked to the puppet, despite the puppet making no appearance nor having a single mention in the movie.
As for Abby... that springlock suit she was almost suited in looked an awfully lot like Ella, one of Charlie's toys from the books. For a reference to Elizabeth, it could have been a clown or something looking like Circus Baby. But why that possible reference to Ella?
Haven't read Silver Eyes in a a good while, but isn't there a sequence where Foxy is chasing Charlie through an arcade? Where she hides behind one of the arcade cabinets, just like Abby does?
Are these just random references and easter eggs pieced together in an incoherent rambling? Indeed they are, thanks for noticing! But that won't stop me from pointing them out for no one else to read.

My honest opinion on the FNaF movie
(I'm sorry if anything is wrong, It's 2 a.m. rn but I need to get this off my chest)
BEFORE WE START: I will admit that I'm 100% biased, I grew up with FNaF and never thought I'd ever see this movie for multiple reasons, so actually sitting in the theater and watching this beautiful disaster unfold was a truly magical experience. I cried during the credits so yeah. With that being said:
1. The spoiler-free part
Ok there are some things we need to lay out right from the getgo
1) This movie caters to:
a) fans who want to see a somewhat new yet familiar story in the FNaF universe
b) casuals who aren't immediately dismissive of everything that's happening and actually TRY to give this shit a chance
2) It's no secret that they changed many things in the story and if you genuinely thought they would adapt the games 1 by 1 you are just delulu I'm sorry
Overall, I personally really liked the movie and I would recommend it. It had many little easter eggs for hardcore fans and a story that pretty much anyone can understand
2. The spoiler-heavy part
(aka pretty much everything important)
Alright, let's talk about the most controversial part:
The Afton children aren't the Afton children anymore.
So Mike Schmidt, who we know is Michael Afton under a fake name in the games, is in the movie literally just Mike Schmidt. Some guy.
Garett, this movie's version of the crying child, is Williams' first victim, not his child who was killed by accident.
Abby, who would technically speaking be the movie equivalent of Elizabeth, has also no connection to Afton.
AND VANESSA, who we met in AR, Help Wanted, and Security Breach, is Williams' only child??
Yeah it's kinda fucked.
HOWEVER, I do think that this is an amazing way to include all the important characters in some way.
If we had told the actual story of the Afton children, eg. the crying child and Elizabeth dying, this would have pretty much meant that everything else in the story had to be adapted too for everything to make sense which is simply impossible. Like straight up.
So writing a new story including all the past protagonists is a very logical decision (+ I'm pretty sure that there was a theory that Vanessa is some sort of Elizabeth reincarnation even though I think that it was disproven very quickly but yeah, there's that)
BUT this story change leaves one big plot hole:
Why the fuck is William Afton a murderer??
He went insane in the game after his son died which led to him killing Charlie (daughter of Henry) out of spite in a drunken rage afterward.
In this movie, he's just a little goofy and funny and kills children for fun, whatever ig
And yes, the fort scene might have been a teeny tiny bit cringe but I mean, these are dead 10 year-olds so their request is pretty legit tbh. "Why don't these kids grow up 🙄" IDK MAYBE CAUSE THEY ARE DEAD?? BFFR
And everything, I mean fucking everything, is better than a "Let's go Fazgang!!!"-scene
BUT WHY ON EARTH DOES THE CUPCAKE HAVE SO MUCH SCREENTIME?? What the fuck 😭
OH I FORGOT the opening scene in the arcade-minigame style was magnificent 💞
I also would've liked that Williams' death would've been a little bit more violent, it was a little too soft. And I also don't get why he was "killed by the cupcake" and not through a malfunction caused by water like it was in the game?? It would've worked just fine. However, since the movie is rated pg13 in some countries (16 here) it's understandable that it isn't too brutal
And, let's be honest: the movie was carried by Matt, TLT, and Cory
But I love the little easter eggs?? Dream theory, the FNaF World Rainbow, it's so cool I loved it
I absolutely loved it, I knew that I would see something very not canon and something new and probably kinda stupid but I still thought it was beautiful and enjoyable and I would die on this hill if I had to

Five Nights at Freddy's 2023 (Review)
Tumblr media
So, after 8 years, Freddy's is finally open for business.
Five Nights at Freddy's is the long-awaited adaptation of the horror game series by Scott Cawthon. Josh Hutcherson plays Mike Schmidt, a down-on-his-luck young man who, facing an eviction notice, takes the job working as a security guard at the broken-down Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in order to support his young sister Abby.
As someone who was a passive fan of the games and watched people like Markiplier play them, I will say that I really liked the movie. Jim Henson's Creature Workshop did a fantastic job bringing the animatronic band to life down to the tiniest detail. I feel the cinematography also showcased some of the panic-inducing paranoia that the first game was known for.
I also think the cast did good for the most part. Huctherson's grief over his personal loss was believable and his relationship with Abby is touching. Piper Rubio also does a very good job in her role as the young sister. Normally I would not care much for child actors, but her interactions with the animatronics is adorable. Vanessa... is serviceable, but I did have some problems there (though she can arrest me any time). And, of course, Matthew Lillard was such a ball in his role.
The music was also great with the opening being chilling as it compliments the events of the Missing Children Incident. The movie was also rife with Easter eggs and references which I liked.
As someone who was familiar with the games and kept up with them, I think it does the games justice. For everything else...
The movie suffers from writing and pacing. The film is 1 hr 50 min, but it felt like it was over too quickly. Definitely not something that felt like it took 8 years to get. Like there is one scene where Mike would be sleeping, then BOOM! Scary thing happens, he reacts, then it jumps to a completely unrelated scene. Instead of taking its time to breathe, the film appears to be in a mad dash to get to the end with some of the more emotional moments being not effective.
So... what I did not like and/or neutral on...
The film itself is not scary, sometimes feeling like an extended Goosebumps episode which is kind of funny considering the Tales from the Pizzaplex and Fazbear Frights books. While it hits the atmosphere of the game well, it kind of lacks an identity requiring you to be familiar with the games. Like it's just basing it off the popularity of the games rather than coming into its own.
I totally get the film was made for the fans in mind, which is fine, and as someone who knows about the franchise, I was satisfied. But I think the film could have done more to make the film accessible to everyone especially with getting some new fans. The worldbuilding was not great with some of its explanations for what things are being brief. For anyone who does not have the slightest idea what FNAF is, this film does it a total disservice.
===Spoilers; Turn Away if you do not want to see what happens===
As much as I loved Matthew Lillard here, he felt underused. It is of no issue with him, it's the screenplay's fault. I wish the film would have done something similar to The Silver Eyes where we have Afton giving Mike information on the run-down family entertainment establishment all while slowly building up that his character Raglan was William Afton. I would have even liked if Mike started to befriend Raglan and confiding in him his darkest secrets, which would make the twist of Afton being responsible for the death of his brother Garett even more effective as that betrayal would sting. But, we do have Vanessa already who does some lore drops here and there so I guess that'd be redundant.
Don't know about some people, but didn't actually mind how the springlock failure happens though Afton acting like some cartoon character with his reactions to getting impaled are kind of wonky, though since Lillard hams up his performances often, I guess it's a minor gripe. It's more his final line "I always come back!"
It's definitely a cool line hearing it being said after it being such an iconic catchphrase from the games, and even if it felt goofy, again I equated that with Lillard's hamminess. But, again, I feel the line falls flat on anyone not tuned in with the lore. Instead of being an intimidating, final threat of spite, a non-FNAF fan would be like "What do you mean you always come back? This is the first time I've seen you, I think."
Perhaps also having the Yellow Rabbit periodically stalking Mike would have also been good since that would raise the tensions. We also know little on Afton in this film, but since Lillard had signed up for a three-film deal, maybe more will be revealed in the sequel.
Vanessa also felt underutilized. Like I understand that she was someone who had her childhood destroyed by her sociopath of a father, but it made a lot of her previous actions completely confusing. Again, the film could have benefitted from flashbacks to further flesh her out as a character aside from the small "he really messed you up" note from Mike. Not helping is the film tipping into predictability. I defy you to say that no one saw Vanessa jumping in to intervene coming after she was all like "I can't go there, I just can't!"
That and the film should have made her being in cahoots with Afton more apparent. He rants saying that he wanted her to kill Mike if he was getting in too deep with unraveling the mystery, but... when was that ever the case? Vanessa acts super sus, but we have no real threads to follow to get the explanation. That, and him saying she was fixing a mess that she started was very interesting. I really wanted to know what he was implying: if we assume that the crying child is canon to this timeline, was she the one who perpetrated the Bite of '83 that made Afton into the crazy serial killer he would become, or was it just referring to this occasion where she did not kill Mike as he demanded?
My boi Golden Freddy was done dirty. He was intimidating which was good, but the film does a poor job at introducing him. GF is understood as being a "ghost" character of sorts who crashes your game, but the film never goes into the differences enough between him and the other animatronics. He can leave the pizzeria unlike the others and can open and close the doors at will, but we know so little about him. It does such a disservice, it is not surprising anyone not familiar with the series would be unable to tell the difference between Golden Freddy and regular Freddy further compounding on the confusion.
The tone also felt inconsistent at times. The kill at the beginning sets the mood well, and we get some of that mood later in the act. The animatronics massacring the crew Jane paid to wreck up Freddy's was horrific especially with what happened to Max, but then the animatronics are all cutesy with Abby (which, yeah, it was because Afton was influencing the animatronics somehow to lull Abby into a false sense of security before getting her stuffed) like with the fort scene. I am not.... completely against it because, while whacky, it reinforces the notion that the animatronics are not truly evil at heart: they are lost, scared ghosts of children who had their lives robbed of them. But Bonnie falling on his back is... kind of silly.
Of course, this is a result of the games being somewhat tongue-in-cheek with Scott being a master-class troll, but the humor doesn't really hit well and almost feels like a conglomeration of different scripts that were Frankensteined together. The who gets custody of Abby thing is also not helping matters.
The film appears to be at a total loss: it has to cater to a young audience since they play the games or buy the merchandise, but they try to push the envelope as far as they could for a PG-13 film, but doing so causes a total whiplash in tone. It does not know what audience it is trying to appeal to.
===Spoilers Over===
Despite it all, will say that I came out of the film finding it good. Not great, but nowhere near the trashfire some critics are making it out to be. But even then, I think the movie critics are not totally wrong in most of their points. The movie is flawed and only works for a select audience and maybe can be a gateway for kids to see more horror films and, since they are marketable characters, maybe the film acquired some new fans.
The film is an accomplishment having been in development hell for years, but I really wish that the film could have been better. I am not expecting Shakespeare in terms of writing as while good writing contributes to making a movie workable, it is not automatically making it "good." Much like the Super Mario Bros. Movie, FNAF 2023 is a simple, predictable story, which is not a complete knock on it as... well, both films had the fans in mind.
But with Mario's case, you have 40+ years and supplementary material to work with. FNAF had little to no story when it started off as a simple point and click survival horror game. While I am fine with a simple story, it could have been done so much better and more accessible for everyone besides fans.

For All Mankind Season 2: Trailer Leaked?
‘For All Mankind’ is an American sci-fi series, which is produced by Apple TV+. The show is written as well as created by Ronald D. Moore, Ben Nedivi, and Matt Wolpert. Moore mentioned that the idea for such a show clicked while in conversation with former NASA astronaut Garett Reisman. The fiction show was initially released in November 2019 and not only this but an announcement for the renewal of the second season was made as well.
Season 1 of the show acquired high appreciation from the critics and the audience for its direction and cast performance. The fans of the show will be delighted to know that ‘For All Mankind Season 2’ is likely to wrap up by the end of this year. The production of the series started back in 2019 as confirmed by the producer Maril Davis via a Twitter post.
Tumblr media
It would be surprising for you to note that IMDb accidentally leaked the trailer for season 2. On the other hand, the trailer wasn’t officially released by Apple. It is the first look of the second part of the show that has given out some exciting elements, and the fans are desperately waiting for the show to air soon.
Season 1 of the show revolves around a hypothetical situation depicting the circumstances where the global space race never ends. It shows an alternate history where the Soviet Union succeeds at its attempt of a moon landing ahead of the U.S. Season 2 of the show will be returning with a lot more drama as the previous show ended at the same note. Also, the second season is likely to pick up from the point the previous season ended, else we can expect a time jump.
The main cast of the show, Joel Kinnaman, Michael Dorman, Shanel VanSanten, Sarah Jones, Wrenn Schmidt, Jodi Balfour, and Nate Corddry were applauded for the hard work and efforts they had put in to make the series a huge success. Other supporting cast members include Sonya Walger, Olivia Trujillo, Arturo del Puerto, Krys Marshall, and Wallace Langham also presented themselves at their best on-screen. The good news is that all the cast members mentioned above are expected to return for the next season.
There is no official release date announced by the makers of the show but as mentioned above, the trailer is out for you to take a glance at the next part of the series. The second season will release on the same platform as season 1 that is Apple TV+. Therefore, you can buy a subscription to the same if you’re a fan of sci-fi shows and movies. The audience will have to wait until the new season is out. Also, you may binge watch season 1 to refresh the moments if you like.

Tumblr media
Despite his fluctuating work-life and raising his sister all on his own, he makes sure to engage with you as much as possible. While Mike can't afford to take you on dates, he spoils you at home and gives you the strongest hospitality anyone can offer. His highlights are hearing about your day, rambling about your interests. He barely thinks about talking about himself (let's be honest, you're all Mike thinks about).
He'd definitely not understand the lore you're fixated on sometimes, but he'll listen regardless.
Painfully shy around you. He gets nervous even asking you for a hug or kiss. Mike hesitates to hold your hand in public or share romantic gestures in fear you'll be disgusted by his lack of experience for affection. He's always delighted (and relieved) when you melt at the feel of his touch.
Cuddling! God, he loves it. His pills do help him sleep, but you help him relax. Mike prefers spooning you, his arms wrapped around your body is something magical, at least to him. He sleeps much better with you.
Anytime Mike flashes away from his nightmares, it helps him dramatically to wake up to you backed up against his chest. Sometimes he'd lazily wake up, desperate for some type of comfort. A lot of mornings were encouragement and warm hugs, which was more than another for both of you.
Mike is very clingy. Due to his trauma of Garett being kidnapped at a young age, he gets incredibly worried when you're gone for too long, especially if you're late.
So damn awkward when he's meeting and/or visiting people you know. Mike cannot socialize with anybody for the life of him. He doesn't bother telling you though. As long as you're enjoying yourself, he'll bare whatever is bothering him if it means seeing you this way.
Very protective. If he ever sees anybody making you uncomfortable (or if he even thinks so) Mike goes ballistic. Sometimes restoring to violence depending on how severe it is. He definitely feels bad afterwards, especially due to embarrassing you like that.
Will intentionally wear shirts/sweaters you like. Mike craves your validation, and loves the feeling of you complimenting him. (Give him a hug, please!) + Gets weak when you fix his tie or adjust his shirt collars.
Marking! Marking! Marking! (Giving + Receiving), I definitely see Mike giggling as he's kissing you or being kissed. His laugh is definitely infectious, and charming to see.
Loves it when you play with his hair, especially when you're cuddling. Slipping your fingers through his curls drives him crazy and makes him melt.
Mike definitely loves pet names, but I imagine he'd love your name much more. He holds it as stronger than any title ever. For him, personally he'd take whatever you call him, Mike is sweet like that.
You cannot tell me that you playing/interacting with Abby destroys his heart (in a good way). Seeing you as a parental figure to her makes him so happy, I bet he cries in joy thinking about it.
Sometimes he's so stressed from work to the point he'll fall into your arms for comfort in an attempt to channel his internal hardships.
Mike is definitely the sweetest kisser ever, not very experienced but he still gives you butterflies. Will hold you every time you kiss, making you feel secure every time. Even if it's a light peck, his hands will either be wrapped around your back, briefly caressing your sides or tight on your shoulders.
Speaking of kisses, he 100% gets lightheaded after them and giggles like a teenager after.
Uses his puppy-dog eyes a lot, even without realizing it.
Says "please" + "sorry" way too much. Absolute sweetheart.
Wears those goofy aprons when he cooks, he doesn't know you think it's cute/funny. Mike likes them way too much.
Hates public areas so much, prefers peaceful walks where it's quiet. Loud noises stresses him out.
Mike cannot tell sarcasm, info dumps or complicated jokes. He'd either just tilt his head in confusion or giggle in an attempt to make it look he understood.
Feels so guilty when you give him money or gifts and he can't repay it. Mike is a giver !
Such a comforter, he'll always listen to you vent, even if he's dead tired from his job. Bet Mike would hold you tightly, telling you everything will be okay.
Mike is pretty private about his feelings, especially his trauma. He's more focused on you on anything !
Loves you more than anything, would 100% run across a haunted pizzeria fatally injured for you in a heartbeat.
