The Amrit Udyan (It was previously known as the Mughal Garden) is situated within the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex, which is at the heart of New Delhi. The Amrit Udyan are usually open to the public during the annual 'Udyanotsav' or Garden Festival. The festival typically takes place from mid-February to mid-March (February 2 to March 2024, when the gardens are in full bloom. Summer Garden Festival

Hotdog Eating Contest. . . Zell threw his hands in the air, the slip of paper saying which attraction he was running held tight in one fist.

“Selphie, Selphie, why? Why would you do this to me?” He espoused to the empty hallway, Zell hung his head and trudged to the cafeteria to make sure everything would be ready for it, and perhaps sneak a few hotdogs for himself.

He had planned on competing in the hotdog eating contest, but now he had to run it instead. Oh the irony.

He set up his booth the day before, and then went about the festival as it started drumming up participants. A sign-up sheet was left at the booth with a note saying he’d be back half an hour before the contest was supposed to happen. The contest was scheduled for 14:00 (or 2pm for those not used to a 24 hour clock).

He had another sign-up sheet with him and wore a hotdog hat proudly on his head as he walked around shouting for people to come join or watch the contest.

Summer Garden Festival

Seifer gave the slip of paper in his hand a look, sighed, and headed for the equipment locker. It wasn’t like this booth hadn’t been set up before. Though the last time he’d participated in a Garden Festival... he was pretty sure Cid had been in charge of the Shooting Range.

He grabbed up the various targets, earmuffs, rifles and pistols and all the blanks he could find - going out to by more as he figured he’d need them - and then grabbed a folding table. He headed out for the setup area and set up his booth, placing targets at varying distances. He placed the guns out on the table, setting up pricing for the type of gun, and setting up the prize list for every distance hit.

1st target: Set out at 5 meters - Prize~ Seifer may not make fun of you. 2nd target: Set at 10 meters - Prize~ a free pass good for one ride on any Summer Festival attraction. (Seifer is NOT an attraction, he’s just attractive.) 3rd target: Set at 15 meters - Prize~ a certificate good for a single item at any Summer Festival food booth. 4th target: Set at 20 meters - Prize~ one of the small figurines: Moomba, Chocobo, Moogle, various GFs. 5th target: Set at 25 meters - Prize~ one of the large stuffed animals: Bears, Lions, Wolves, etc. 6th target: Set at 30 meters - Prize~ A major Triple Triad card: Seifer, Ifrit, etc.

Rifles: 5 gil per 8 shots. Pistols: 3 gil per 8 shots. Rules: You have to hit the targets in order, closest to farthest. For every new target hit, you gain that prize. If you shoot the same target twice, you only get one prize for it.

As a final touch he grabbed a lawn chair, a standing umbrella, and a smaller folding table to put his cash box on. Then he sat down to wait.
