Do you have any Gabriel salt fics? I sometimes feel like you salt more on Adrien than him

Of course I salt on Adrien. It's like adding a bit of salt to a bland dish to give it flavor because it's still worth the time and effort even if you don't particularly like it otherwise.

Gabriel is just shit. There's no point trying to add salt to make it appetizing. I've written entire essays on how much of an idiot he is. I expect nothing from this character.

But if you want to know my stories that make fun of Gabriel or call out his stupidity or horribleness...

Gabriel's Lament - where Gabriel makes the Wish and it doesn't go well for him. Plagg manages to take some revenge, however little he can get.

Take Out The Trash - Dolls AU where Gabriel tries to throw Littlebug away and she does not take kindly to this.

My-Crack-Ulous: The Movie Trailer - Just crack that pokes fun at the setup and Gabriel in general.

Papa's Day - Another Dolls AU where Gabriel sucks as a Dad and Adrien realizes he's a better one.

My-Crack-Ulous: Akumaid - More crack and Gabriel suffers.

Dolls at Play - More Dolls and more callout specifically at Gabriel.

Guardian Assistant Kevin - Where Villain Assistant Kevin takes Marinette as a client and calls out a lot of things including Hawk Moth.

Banned Movie List - More Dolls where they watch movies and get ideas.

Akuma-ed - More Dolls where Gabriel tries to akumatize the Dolls and it does not work out for him.

Oneshot where Gabriel messes with human-turned-Chaton and Adrien does NOT approve

The Hero of Paris - a one shot pointing out how stupid it was for Gabriel to transform on a TRAIN.

So yeah, a number of them are Dolls AU, but they really don't like him and he deserves it.

Somehow, Ladybug and Chat Noir find out why Hawkmoth wants their Miraculous (though not necessarily what he intends to wish for). However, when they ask their kwami (and/or Master Fu) about it, the response is one of confusion.

As it turns out, the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous do not have any sort of wish-granting properties at all.

Now they must figure out where Hawkmoth got the idea from.

So...

Marinette and Adrien are realizing about their feelings (Marinette towards Chat and Adrien towards Marinette) so Marinette starts freaking out, Adrien is way more calm about this info so he just goes patrolling, obv he goes straight to the bakery, no plan to talk to Marinette, he just wants to see her, and he does, but realizes that she is freaking out about something so he just goes and asks her what's wrong, she gets scared and tries to answer but just stutters nonsense but Chat laughs and tries to comfort her, for some reason someone gets Akumatized so Chat goes to the rescue, the Akuma sees Chat getting away from Marinette, that instead of transforming just sees Chat going, so the akuma kidnaps Marinette. In the fight, Chat tries various ways of saving Marinette but he just can't, Marinette is kinda bored rn, but at leat she knows where the akuma is, the akuma grabs Chat as well so she tries to talk with the akuma to get them free somehow but the akuma keeps talking with Monarch so Chat just goes straight and screams "Can you stop ignoring and pay attention to my girlfriend, please?" (Petite amie)

Everything stops for a second. Chat didn't realize what he said, Monarch is happy to know this information, the akuma stills don't know what to do and Marinette is red. Chat just tries to make Marinette talk and that's when he realizes what he said. He tries to correct himself but no one listens. So everything goes wild, the fight is confusing but Ladybug appears in a moment and defeat the akuma, Chat is just blanc (ohno), now he believes that Marinette really hates him or finds him weird because they have talked like three times??? Anyways he tries to apologize and asks Alya to post that he meant girl friend because she was the only girl friend that he has in a game online (in French works like that she's the only small friend he has, wich isn't true in neither language but anyway) that way akumas doesn't attack her, Alya does it and the people just don't believe this, but they know is like for protection so they act like ok, but people still messes with Marinette at school and Adrien is so sorry about this, he cringes everytime this happens, Marinette just chooses to ignore this, even though her red face says how this affects her. Gabriel actually believes the explanation because he is dumb, but notices that Adrien is sad about something and believes that he likes Marinette and this hole Marichat thing is what he is sad about, he tries to support him (his way obv) and Adrien can't be normal about this, like why is his father so suddenly supportive on him dating Marinette? and why is he telling him how to flirt? And why he now has the permission to invite only Marinette over or go to her house??? He doesn't know but it works, they start dating.

Post reveal they joke about that one time that Chat slipped his feelings towards Marinette to Monarch and some dumb excuse worked

So I've been thinking a lot about Muriel. About how they're sweet and naive and sort of dumb, and they're a 37th class angel.

In fact, Muriel’s level of naivety is nearly the same as Jim-level naivety/dumbness. And Jim was supposed to be a 38th class angel, after being demoted from Supreme Archangel and having his memories removed.

And when this was revealed Muriel says 'I didn't know there was a class below me', what if Muriel is just a demoted angel? What if Heaven just keeps demoting any angel who goes against God’s (the Metatron’s) Plan and making a new, lower class for them? Instead of making them fall, they just keep taking memories and demoting angels so that there wont be a perceived ‘institutional problem’. Which there isn’t. Right?

The Hero of Paris

...so when Gabriel was in the bathroom on that train when he transformed and tried to akumatize someone...

...you think anyone could have just...I dunno, recorded it?

Michael Donahue was the hero of Paris.

In truth, he was an American tourist. And about as American as one could get.

And AS a young American in a foreign country, he did what most Americans do: abuse his phone's camera function for anything and everything he thought was interesting and likely to get him likes on social media.

He recorded a man feeding pigeons before being run off by a police officer.

He recorded some curator at a museum telling a wild fanfic idea at the Louvre.

He recorded a bunch of people chasing after a blond haired kid and screaming at the sight of him. Which...okay, weird?

Well, he'd known Paris would be weird. But he didn't think it'd be THIS weird.

But then THAT day happened. And what he thought was perhaps the silliest…even the downright dumbest thing ended up being what made him go viral in the last way he ever expected.

Some would consider it uncouth. Most would have just politely ignored it.

But Micheal was a young American with a need to record everything.

And he was already in his seat in a train waiting for it to depart for his next travel destination...only to be delayed due to some reason that he, not being French-speaking, didn't understand.

Ultimately, that made this the perfect combination of bored and impulsive in JUST the right way to achieve a miracle.

So when he heard what sounded like shouting and insane laughter coming from the bathroom on the train, Michael—in true American fashion, decided to record it.

"Dude, some guy has taken over one of the restrooms and is yelling like crazy!"

…and for the sheer hell of it, he started livestreaming.

And his chat started to come alive.

What's going on?

"The train's held up. My French isn't that good. An 'akuma' or something?"

What's an akuma?

He looked over his shoulder.

"I dunno. But that guy in the restroom has been shouting about it a lot."

On the other side of the door, the faint sound of yelling could be heard. Most of it garbled that Michael couldn't quite make out except for a few words.

"—akuma—"

"—Ladeebuug!"

What's he shouting?

"Something about Ladybugs and noir? Is he shooting a movie or complaining of a lack of pest control? Lol."

Out of all his vids and livestreams, he hadn't expected the one about some random making a scene in a bathroom to be the one that got attention, but more people were joining the chat and he saw his numbers rise more than they ever had.

"Wow. Okay. Didn't expect to get this level of response."

He made sure to keep the camera on the bathroom door the noises were coming from rather than himself. It was what the people wanted to see apparently and it allowed better audio quality.

What was perhaps the most interesting was that he started getting comments in French.

In all caps.

With many exclamation points.

Is this real!?

HAWK MOTH!

IT'S HAWK MOTH!

WHERE IS HE?!

"Hawk Moth? What?"

Then a particularly insistent commenter named LadyWifi joined and started to spam the chat.

Où est-ce?

Où est-ce?!!

OÙ EST-CE!!!

"Wait hold on. What?"

Où

où!

WHERE?!

WHERE IS IT

OÙ

wherewherewerewhere?!!!!!!!!11!!1

He balked at the repeated demands. Given the chat seemed to be repeatedly questioning where in English, he could only presume that's what they were asking in French, too. But he had no idea why and no explanation was forthcoming! Any attempts anyone made to tell him what was going on quickly got lost in the flood of comments demanding a location.

Before he could comment further though, his thoughts were interrupted by a cry of outrage from the restroom, loud enough to ring his ears.

Silence.

Then…

"Nooroo, detransform moi."

There was a strange sound from inside. Muffled, but distinct enough. Like how sparkles should sound? Something from one of those magical girl shows his little sister watches.

A click signaled the door unlocking.

"I think he's about to come out!"

The chat was going wild. Everyone commenting. Making random names? Maybe trying to guess who the person on the other side of the door was?

Then some blond guy in glasses and a really unfashionable suit came out of the restroom.

…and his livestream promptly exploded.
