the zine’s officially out, so I can post my contribution for the @extraordinaryzine :D!
my piece is an interpretation of the caverns on Iron Island 🏝️ so I wanted to incorporate more of the water surrounding it by creating a sea cave to have light spill inside (akin to the modra špilja/blue grotto)
the focus of the zine was on the daily lives of trainers and their pokemon, so Riley uses a spot inside the caverns like this to meditate with his team, although any new Riolu he trains can’t resist wanting to jump into the water to play υ´˶ ・ﻌ・ ˶`υノ”
this piece alongside a ton of amazing artists can be found free to download digitally here! (and lastly some closeups bc I liked getting all the little deets down)

I'm not including a situation where someone might be injured because in that case I'm thinking the bed goes to them by default or they are nominated for it. anyone who wants to be chatty goes to join the living room floor gang.
What are your thoughts and headcanons? Do you have thoughts on how the boys tend to approach assigning beds in inns? Who do the chain choose to sleep near when camping and why? What are their dynamics like when settling down for the night and getting ready for the day?
In "Mirror Vs Open Closet Door: Fight!" by Gintrinsic (here) Four refers to the chain's decision on how to split up between inn rooms as the "Link-per-room ratio" which I find very funny. He, Sky, and Time also talk about their thought process behind why they do or don't want to sleep in a room with some of the others which I find fun and interesting.
So! If you have thoughts and want to share them! *gestures to the post!*

I love the music this episode. So foreboding for the Demeter section, and then so light and charming for Mina.
Speaking of Mina, I love how she opens with Lucy "looking sweeter and lovelier than ever" - because obviously, Lucy looking sweet and lovely at all times is a given, she's just more so currently. ^_^ She has some lovely descriptions, reminiscent of Jonathan - she too is painting a word-picture for him to possibly read later. But it soon diverts into history and legend and spookiness, because of course it does, she enjoys that stuff. ...actually, graveyards being treated almost like public parks wasn't that uncommon at the time I think, but it's still fun and her interest in spooky stories is apparent elsewhere in the entry too. I love how Mina is planning to come back here and work often: it's that preparation for the future again. She's so eager to get started, and possibly in a little bit of the 'I'm going to get so much done this summer' phase, though I have way more faith in her ability to stick to the plan than my own. But she really is obviously excited to build up her skills (presumably working on typing and stenography) and I love how you can really feel her effort (and her enjoyment in the effort) to be like lady journalists here. All those descriptions and interviewing Mr. Swales...
Speaking of Mr. Swales, he sounds so sweet. Lovable grandpa acquired; well done Mina!

Had a dream where Warframe has their own exhibit irl and it looks a lot like those fancy interactive art ones. Each warframe has their own room and theme, also the exhibition is right next to DE's HQ.
All of the models are 3D printed and you could even see how the abilities work with the work of practical and light effects that will change in a push of a button, complete with a disembodied voice (Lev?) that explains the ability to you.
One thing that stuck to me is that somewhere in the upper floor there is a bar that's themed around Lavos, where you'll be served drinks in various glass vials.

I guess I will never eat a baguette in Paris. Ok? Who cares? Is that the point of life, to go to foreign countries and eat carbs? Is that what gives your life meaning?
If so, aim higher.

Pre divorce shadowpeach didn't seem to be the type to fight a lot. In fact the shadowpeach divorce probably blew up that big due to all the unsaid frustrations they never let out.
So I'm just imagining shadowpeach never fighting in an obvious way (closest to fighting would be backhanded comments or barbed words) but that just makes things more unsettling
oh yeah 100% it didn’t help that swk was always leaving FFM out of his need to get stronger and be the best and be respected. not to mention they probably never saw their times together as the right moment to voice their concerns out loud because this was their time to wind down and they just had to wait it out, wait until everything was perfect enough to have those talks

Your puppy fever was a little to contagious!
Contacted a breeder and getting a Belgian sheepdog soon, since it will be our first puppy (and dog), I was wondering if you have any tips that maybe are not usually found when researching and come from experience.
Looking forward to my own snout fluffer!!
!! congrats on your (future) baby! I’m mostly just stumbling my way through life with the thought process of “this will probably work out fine” so I don’t know that I have too many puppy tips I can give you haha. I can say, from working in vetmed, to try to make sure your puppy gets used to crates and restraint young! it makes such a huge difference when a dog is losing its shit and hard for staff to handle vs a dog that is tolerant (or at least not freaking out), and herding breeds can be very sensitive to that. like I completely forgot to desensitize Stellina to collar/harness grabs as a puppy and didn’t realize until one day someone tried and she panicked - oops. So with Kep we’ve just done some simple “I am tugging your collar haha silly here’s a treat” and he’s already ambivalent about it. So I think it’s all pretty standard stuff like that! Genuinely I am just kind of doing whatever and assuming that people have had dogs for ages so I probably won’t be screwing up irrevocably 🤷♀️
im not very knowledgeable about Belgian sheepdogs (besides thinking they’re very pretty and I would probably try to own a tervuren if I was more brave/competent) but @groenendaze and @herdybunch may have some pointers for you! I am just a little idiot with my easy herding-lite companion breed 😅
